Nusa dua what a sea. What to see in Nusa Dua Bali. Holidays in unforgettable Nusa Dua - remarkable moments

Nusa Dua is a peninsula in South Bali known as a hub of luxury hotels.

The name Nusa Dua is used in two cases: it refers to both the entire eastern part of the Bukit Peninsula in the south, and a purpose-built, safe and clean tourist area (Kawasan Pariwisata) in the southeast of the peninsula.

In addition to the many luxury hotels, Nusa Dua is home to some of the most popular golf courses, as well as the main convention center on the island. You can find a tour to Nusa Dua from Russia on various search engine sites or, for example,.

The beaches here are magnificent: white sand, deep ocean, enormous length and complete safety for swimming. Geger Public Beach is considered the best if you are not staying in Nusa Dua. It is also home to one of Bali's best museums, which is almost always empty.

Entry into the Nusa Dua tourist area is through a guarded gate and everyone entering is subject to security screening. On the one hand, this can cause slight claustrophobia, on the other hand, it helps guests feel safer. Some tourists criticize the "unnatural" feel of the place, however, given previous terrorist attacks on the island, many guests appreciate the fact that checks ensure their safety.

How to get there

Nusa Dua is located 40 kilometers south of Denpasar, the administrative center. You can find your way around the prices for flights to Denpasar, say. Easily accessible from the city (20 - 30 minutes) or Jimbaran (15 minutes) via the main southern highway called Jalan Bypass Ngurah Rai, which becomes Jalan Bypass Nusa Dua as approaching the tourist area.

The international airport is 20 to 30 minutes away by car, and a pre-paid taxi from there will cost between 95,000 and 110,000 rupees. If you are staying here, your hotel can arrange airport transfers.

Main attractions. What to see

Pantai Geger Beach

Public beach in Nusa Dua. This luxurious white sand beach on the western edge of the enclave retains features not found in the gentrified resort area of Nusa Dua. There is a restaurant, beach tents and masseuses - all working for the local cooperative. By supporting them, you are supporting local people. The beach has a cooling breeze as it is one of the few beaches located to the east. Thanks to the reef, which is located far from the beach, it has some of the warmest water temperatures in the world. Head west from the tourist area of Nusa Dua, pass the golf course, then the St Regis Hotel (on your left). After the St Regis, take the first left towards the beach and park at the Pantai Geger car park.

Water Blow

A place in the Nusa Dua Beach area called the "Water Blow" is a rock formation where waves hitting a rock wall create a giant splash, as if the water were exploding. Water Blow is located on the Nusa Dua Peninsula on Nusa Dua Beach north of the Grand Hyatt Hotel. This amazing attraction is located on the far edge of the peninsula, which hosts major events such as the Nusa Dua Festival, world-class exhibitions and other international events. In this area there are rocks on which a building with an open roof is built. What is unusual about Water Blow is that there is a large constriction in the rock facing the Indian Ocean. When the wave comes and hits the rock, it becomes caught in this narrowing and crashes into the top. From a distance it looks like a huge white foam dancing on top of a rock. The larger and faster the waves, the higher they rise above the cliff. Here you need to be careful not to get wet.

Pacifica Museum

Blok R, TDC Nusa Dua (near Bali Collection), +62 361 774935 ( [email protected]). Opening hours: 10am to 6pm daily. A truly underrated and little known attraction. This superb museum is highly recommended for anyone interested in the art of Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. Both exhibitions of the European artists for whom it became home and exhibitions of local artists are worthy of attention. There is an impressive Indo-Chinese exhibit and a display of Polynesian artifacts. The museum also displays works by famous artists from around the world such as Paul Gauguin, Theo Meyer, Le Meyer, Rudolf Bonn, Ari Smith, Emilio Ambron and many others.

Serangan Island

Translated as “Turtle Island”. It can be reached by boat from Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa. The crystal clear water allows you to observe marine life right from the boat. As its name suggests, Serangan is a turtle sanctuary. Local residents guard the turtle eggs until the turtles hatch, which are then released on local beaches. Besides turtles, there are also reptiles, birds, snakes and bats. The sea turtles that give Serangan its popular name are not found swimming under the ocean cliffs - they are caught here and sold as food. Turtle meat is popular in Denpasar, especially during the holidays.

Beaches. Which ones are better

Many companies in Nusa Dua offer water sports (banana, parasailing, jet ski, diving, etc.). You can book entertainment directly on the beach in Nusa Dua or Tanjung Benoa, or your hotel can arrange it for you. All operators work together, which ensures very little difference in prices. Expect to pay around $25 - $30 for most activities.

Blue Point Beach (Pantai Suluban), Jalan Pantai Suluban, Ungasan. This beach is not as prestigious as or Nusa Dua. But if you visit this beach, you will certainly be fascinated by the exoticism of this place and will not regret the time spent. If you want to look at the beach from above, there is a place in the cafe area with an excellent view. If you want to enjoy the clearest water, you can go down the steps to the beach. To get to the beach, you need to go down and past some fairly steep hills, through a gap between two rocks. The white sand beach is similar to its brothers: Padang Padang Beach and Dreamland Beach. The beach is surrounded by a rock wall with quaint caves and large rocks. Here you can just sit and look at the landscape. The high cliffs surrounding the beach make for a stunning view from any location.

Pandawa Beach, or “Hidden Beach”, Jalan kutuh (near Uluwatu Temple). The beach is located in Kutuh Village, South District, Badung Regency; about 3 kilometers from Nusa Dua area and Uluwatu Temple. In the past, this beach was hidden behind a hill, so it was called the Secret Beach. The secret beach was actually known to some tourists. However, the difficult access to this area has left the place empty. The few visitors were either foreign surfers or local tourists. Entrance fees: 10,000 rupees.

Food. What to try

Outside of luxury hotels in Nusa Dua it is difficult to find a good restaurant. Jalan By Pass, which connects Nusa Dua with Jimbaran, the airport and Kuta, has a large number of Japanese and other Asian restaurants catering to tourist groups. As a rule, it is better to avoid such establishments.

Benoa Cafe, Jl Pratama No 71A, Tanjung Benoa, +62 361 8882720. 12 noon to 10 pm daily. Hungarian restaurant. Reasonable prices and good quality. Free transfers are available from Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa areas.

You won't find the Balinese dishes on the menu that are usually served in hotels and tourist restaurants, as the goal is to serve Balinese dishes the way the Balinese themselves prepare them at home or during traditional ceremonies.

Nusa Dua Beach Grill, Geger Beach (west of Nusa Dua, slight turn south from the main road towards Nikko Hotel). An excellent option, located on a white sandy beach. One of the few quality dining out options in the Nusa Dua area.

Nusa Dua is a purpose-built and rather “sterile” tourist area on the south-eastern side of the Bukit Peninsula (southern tip of Bali). Formerly an area of mangrove swamps, today it is developed with luxury resorts and isolated from the cities and villages of Bali.

Short description

The history of Nusa Dua dates back to the early 1970s. The idea was to create a closed tourist area that would limit the impact of tourism on the traditional way of life of the local population. To achieve this, a barren area of mangrove swamps and fishing villages on the south-eastern edge of the Bukit Peninsula was turned into a tourist area closed to the local population.

In many ways, the idea was successful: Nusa Dua has five-star hotels, neatly trimmed lawns, pedestrian paths without holes or potholes, smooth roads with curbs and drainage systems. At the same time, there are no wandering traders and roadside stalls, traditional warung-style cafes, but all services, as a rule, are very expensive. In general, the only thing that vaguely reminds us of Bali and Indonesia here are taxi drivers with their always “non-working” meters.

Tanjung Benoa is located on a long and thin sand spit 2 km north of Nusa Dua. Tanjung Benoa is known for its good beach and is considered the center of water activities in Bali, such as water skiing, banana boat, water parasailing. Here is the Benoa Harbor pier, from where departures to the nearby islands are located. Tanjung Benoa isn't the most exciting part of Bali, but its village and warung eateries give you an idea of what the island is all about.

This article covers the entire Nusa Dua area plus Tanjung Benoa village.

How to get there

Nusa Dua is located 10 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Upon arrival, you can immediately rent a car at the airport; the journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Or pre-pay for a taxi at a special counter at the airport, the cost is not much more expensive than a private taxi driver, but at least they won’t take you on long, roundabout routes and charge you extra money for it. If you have booked a hotel, the management will almost certainly take care of picking you up from the airport.

Minibuses (bemo) run from here to Kuta and Denpasar, but very rarely and the schedule is inconsistent. Most holidaymakers hail a taxi or rent a car to travel around the island.

Beaches of Nusa Dua

Pantai Nusa Dua(Pantai Nusa Dua). Compared to Kuta, Nusa Dua beach is simply fabulous. The sand is soft, fine and without the debris so common in Bali, the waves are small, it’s safe to swim, the water is clean, ideal for swimming, especially for children. Vacationers have access to jogging and cycling paths, football, beach volleyball, good places for fishing and even surfing, and tourists are offered jet ski rides. If you are looking for a good beach without huge crowds of holidaymakers, Nusa Dua is perfect for this purpose. It’s impossible to say that the beach is completely quiet; there are also a lot of swimmers and sun lovers here, but in the morning and evening it’s quite quiet, and the number of vacationers during the day is significantly less compared to Kuta. During high tide, the sea brings with it a lot of garbage, but when the water recedes, workers from neighboring resort complexes immediately remove the garbage. There are street vendors here, but they are few and require a license to operate. So, if you are approached to buy a sarong, a kite or something else, this rarely happens here and the merchants treat vacationers with respect (if they complain, they will lose their license).

Pantai Geger(Pantai Geger). Pantai Geger is considered one of the best beaches on the island of Bali. By its nature, the beach is significantly different from the “sterile atmosphere” of the Nusa Dua resort area. There are no large numbers of hawkers and merchants found on other Bali beaches. The beach is quite safe for swimming thanks to a ridge of reefs at a distance of about 600 m from the shore, protecting the coast from strong waves. So take your children with you, the water here is still and the beach is considered safe for swimming. The beach has soft sand and clear waters, not too shallow at low tide. There are quite a few traditional Indonesian Warung style eateries here that are not found on the main Nusa Dua beach. They sell snacks, beer, seafood and fresh juices.

A significant part of the beach belongs to the Hotel Nikko Bali, which reserves all its amenities (umbrellas, sunbeds) only for guests of its hotel. The beach offers surfing lessons, surfboard rentals, snorkeling, diving, etc., but I don’t recommend snorkeling, there is practically no fish. Surfing is practiced 600 meters from the shore, where the notorious ridge of reefs passes. Pantai Geger is located on the southern tip of Nusa Dua (5 minutes walk from the golf club), some hotels offer a free shuttle bus to this beach.

Accommodation

Hotels by sightseeing

Perhaps the first place where you can go for a luxurious, comfortable holiday in Bali is the tourist area of Nusa Dua. This is the place of the quietest beaches without dangerous waves, where you can have a great time with the whole family. Also, Nusa Dua is famous for its high level of service and tourist culture. Here you won’t see beggars or pesters on the beach, and no one will bother you again.

The infrastructure of the area corresponds to a given level - on the territory of Nusa Dua there are several golf courses, restaurants and shops of a European level, as well as several recreation and entertainment parks, including the famous "Water Blow". The area is located in the picturesque south of the island and occupies most of the Bukit Peninsula. Denpasar National Airport is only 25 km away. Of course, it is necessary to take into account that the price level in Nusa Dua is slightly higher than in other areas of the island, but believe me, the level of service will not make you doubt.

Restaurant King Cole Bar at St. Regis Bali Resort

King Cole Bar at St. Regis Bali Resort is a wonderful restaurant, the interior of which is designed in a modern style. The terrace offers a picturesque view of the island; there are pools throughout the area that form small waterfalls.

Very attentive waiters will always advise which of the many dishes to choose. Once in this restaurant, you will feel all the delights of high life; at the entrance you will be greeted by a doorman in white gloves, and the head waiter will take you to a cozy table.

An entertainment program awaits all visitors - live music is always playing here.

Boneka Restaurant at St. Regis Bali Resort

The interior of the Boneka restaurant is made taking into account modern trends - small tables designed for 2-4 people and illuminated by natural light pouring from behind the glass walls.

A beautiful terrace, made in a semicircle, allows you to enjoy the picturesque views of the surrounding area and the fresh ocean breeze.

The restaurant offers an extensive European menu, the portions are quite large and always beautifully decorated. A variety of drinks and desserts will perfectly complete any dinner.

Nusa Dua is a tourist area in the south of Bali, located 25 kilometers from the capital of the island - Denpasar. A popular place for tourism, recreation and kitesurfing. Transport access to the territory of Nusa Dua is limited, but a large number of luxury hotels are concentrated here.

Restaurant Kayuputi at St. Regis Bali Resort

Kayuputi at St. Regis Bali Resort is an excellent restaurant that attracts visitors from afar with its appearance - it is surrounded on all sides by pools, fountains and fancy figures.

The interior of the restaurant is even more luxurious - high ceilings, beautiful crystal chandeliers, a combination of wood and stone create an indescribably refined atmosphere.

The variety of dishes is impressive - here you can taste both Asian and international cuisines, there is a buffet. The restaurant offers excellent service, excellent cuisine and a variety of wines, juices and other drinks.

Shopping complex "Bali Collection"

The Bali Collection shopping complex in Nusa Dua is a large open-air mall with famous brand stores, restaurants and souvenir shops. The Bali Collection has buses from all major hotels in the city.

"Bali Collection" is, first of all, a huge open-air area occupied by small shops and restaurants. The shophouses form a real trading city, the streets of which are decorated with exotic plants and fountains. Not far from the entrance to the complex there is a peace gong - a huge metal gong depicting symbols and attributes of the main religions of the world.

At Bali Collection you can buy a variety of souvenirs, including famous works of Balinese woodworking craftsmen. There are also branded clothing, jewelry and cosmetics stores here. Prices here are higher than in other stores in the city, but this does not deter many customers.

Separately, it is worth noting the huge number of restaurants where you can try food from all over the world. Bali Collection has Italian, Portuguese, Turkish and, of course, Asian restaurants.

Water strike

If you come to Bali, be sure to include in your plans a visit to a real natural miracle - Water Blow. This is a unique natural phenomenon of waves breaking against coastal rocks. The height of the water geyser falling onto the observation deck exceeds human height and drenches everyone who gapes from head to toe. You can observe the impact of a wave during high tides and at other times when the water level in the ocean rises (this happens cyclically, according to the phases of the moon). August is considered the most spectacular season; the waves lack pressure and often do not reach the edge of the cliff.

This natural event attracts several hundred tourists every day who want to take pictures of themselves against the backdrop of the water wall. The place is perfect for wedding photography and family albums. But, still, do not forget to be careful, do not come very close to the cliff. If the water level in the ocean is at its maximum, the wave can easily knock you off your feet. However, if you come out of season, the place is still worth a visit. Water Blow is located on the territory of the park of the same name. Its peculiarity is that all the trees were planted by representatives of different countries, so a walk through this international forest can become a full-fledged educational excursion.

Water Blow is located on the Bukit Peninsula in the area of luxury high-quality hotels in Nusa Dua. The most obvious landmark on the way to Water Blow is the Grand Gyatt Hotel, located near the famous Bali Collection shopping gallery. Heading from the hotel to the ocean you will see a large stone gate with the inscription “Water Blow”; through the gate along a specially equipped path you get straight to the point where the waves crash.

The cost of visiting the park is 35 rupees (about 100 rubles).

Gourmand Deli at St. Regis Bali Resort

The Gourmand Deli restaurant is simply a paradise for those with a sweet tooth. Here you will find a sea of magnificent desserts - cakes, pastries, sweets, and ice cream is perhaps one of the best in Bali. Chocolate lovers will be delighted to see the chocolate fountain! All delicacies are made in the restaurant, in its own confectionery.

And for those who want to not just enjoy local desserts, but also have a full lunch, the menu offers Japanese cuisine - rolls, sushi and miso - all made from the freshest seafood.

This restaurant is quite expensive compared to others in Bali - the average bill is $20-$55.

And all this splendor is complemented by a beautiful interior and water gardens that are everywhere here.

The most popular attractions in Nusa Dua with descriptions and photographs for every taste. Choose the best places to visit famous places in Nusa Dua on our website.

Many Indonesian islands are fabulously beautiful, and Bali is certainly one of the most amazing and interesting parts of the country. However, its popularity among travelers is associated with a well-designed and successfully implemented large-scale program for the development of tourism infrastructure, which was carried out by the BTDC Corporation.

After all, no matter how good the landscapes are, no matter how unique the culture of the inhabitants, no matter how rich the flora and fauna of Bali, tourists accustomed to a certain level of comfort would never pour into the island in a powerful wave.

About the resort

During the implementation of the program, the Nusa Dua area (more precisely, Benoa), located on the east coast of the Bukit Peninsula in southern Bali, was chosen, where the best island resort was rebuilt from scratch. The distance from Ngurah Rai Airport is about 20 km and takes no more than half an hour.

This place is highly recommended to everyone who is very sensitive to the slightest shortcomings of the tourist service, who prefers a “civilized” beach holiday. It’s no secret that many tourist villages on the island provide satisfactory, but far from luxurious service. Although it is quite suitable for those who are on a limited budget or come to Bali for the sake of “Bali”.

Nusa Dua is a small village protected from unauthorized “invasion” by local residents. You can get here through special checkpoints. However, a native or tourist who has not booked a room at a local hotel may still be able to visit the resort. True, at the entrance they sometimes inspect the belongings of those who are suspicious. But any vacationer does not have to worry about the safety of the contents of their suitcases and their own safety. And what is important, you will be freed from endless annoying offers of services and goods.

The territory of Nusa Dua is well planned, almost perfectly groomed and very beautiful. Fans of leisurely walks or cycling will be pleased with the excellent condition of the paths. and catering establishments are presented, as they say, in a wide range. Without any exaggeration, we can say that the resort has a great many advantages, but only one drawback - a clear lack of national flavor. Which, however, can be easily made up for by drawing up and implementing a program of visits to. But more about everything.

Beach

‒ one of the best on the island, well equipped, well maintained, has a gentle entrance to the sea and is suitable for swimming. The latter is important, because the sea off the coast of Bali is noticeably more pleasing, and especially so. By the way, surfing at the resort is possible, but more on that later. The total length of the beaches is 3 km.

The beaches are covered with pleasant champagne-colored sand, the sea is clean. However, some beaches are a bit “exciting”, and in some places it is almost impossible to swim at low tide.

  • Sawangan or Nikko Beach is located in the southern part of the resort. There are almost no ebbs and flows here, but waves are possible. Overall, swimming is comfortable.
  • Geger is also located in the south of the resort. Very popular among Russian tourists, great for small children. During low tide it is suitable for snorkeling.
  • Mengiat is located closer to the center of the resort. Convenient and quite crowded beach. You can swim at low tide.
  • Nusa dua is a beautiful, clean and comfortable beach in the center of the resort. However, it is not possible to swim here during low tides. But you can admire the impressive natural phenomenon called Water Blow: waves crash wildly and beautifully between the rocks.

Housing

The resort and its immediate surroundings offer, that is, hotels of all star levels, guesthouses, villas, etc. Capricious or wealthy tourists will be satisfied with the service of 5* hotels, some of which are known throughout the world for their comfort and chic. Almost all five-star hotels in Nusa Dua are located on the first line. Room prices start from $50/night for two.

The 4* hotel category has more than 60 options. This is more than decent accommodation, but at a much nicer price: from $18/night for two. There are about 75 2* and 3* hotels. Rooms will cost no less than $13/night for two.

Tourists on a budget can find a suitable option among 1* hotels. The price for a room in this category starts from 10 $/night for two.

Thus, not only media personalities and wealthy people can enjoy their vacation; the Nusa Dua resort is accessible to almost everyone.

It is impossible to feel at home in the most spacious and luxurious hotel room. For those who want to feel like a boss even on vacation, it is better to rent a villa. As a rule, this is a decent mansion with an area of 200 square meters. m, with a full range of amenities and household appliances, a plot and a swimming pool. The villa will cost from $30/day.

All prices are valid for high season. During the low season, housing prices decrease.

Entertainment

Bali is, in principle, not the best place for lovers of parties and incendiary parties. There is only one place on the entire island where tourists craving a vibrant nightlife can enjoy their holiday - Kuta in the southwestern part of the island. Nusa Dua is a calm, and "decent" resort. Here you don’t suffer from insomnia due to the roar of the dance floors, and you won’t see cheerful young people wandering around the streets until dawn. However, there are many options to have a good time.

To the delight of connoisseurs of cultural spectacles, there is a theater - Bali Nusa Dua Theatre, where several times a week you can see a colorful dance show on stories dedicated to the history and culture of Bali.

The island offers all kinds of water activities, among which surfing is worth highlighting. This activity is seasonal for each section of the coast of Bali. So, in Nusa Dua they catch waves in the low season, from November to March. For lovers of water attractions, we recommend Bali Wake Park, located approximately 14 km north of the resort.

There are few attractions directly in Nusa Dua and its surroundings. This:

  • the magnificent Nusa Dua Park;
  • Puja Mandala is a square where temples of five faiths allowed in Indonesia are erected: Muslim, Buddhist, traditional Balinese, Catholic and Protestant;
  • Pacifica Museum of Art.

The resort will meet the expectations of those who consider shopping a pleasant pastime. Frankly speaking, the creators of the resort have made a lot of efforts to ensure that dear guests leave as much money as possible in local stores.

The Bali Collection center was created in the best traditions of the trading business. In addition to a pleasant walk through the labyrinth of world-famous brand stores, here you can relax in a massage parlor, get yourself in order in one of the beauty studios, or sit in a cafe or restaurant. From time to time, entertainment events are held on its territory. Many hotels offer a free shuttle to Bali Collection. In a word, the center is good for everyone, but the prices are steep.

Nutrition

Something, really. Particularly impressive is the number of breathtakingly expensive restaurants, many of which are located in luxury hotels. But there are even more establishments for less wealthy travelers, and warungs, traditional eateries, are recommended for tourists on a very limited budget. Perhaps the dishes in warungs do not qualify for Michelin stars, but they are quite affordable, tasty and satisfying.

For those who decide to prepare their own food, we recommend the quite decent Hardy’s Nusa Dua supermarket, located near the aforementioned souvenir market.

Weather

In general, the weather at the resort is typical for the Bukit Peninsula - somewhat drier than in most of Bali. Bali is located in the equatorial monsoon climate zone, with distinct dry and rainy seasons. The first lasts from May to October (local winter), the second - from November to March (summer). The air temperature varies slightly throughout the day and year, and the water temperature fluctuates within even smaller limits.

The hottest month is March, when during the day the air warms up to +32⁰ and above, the coolest is July (+28⁰ ... +30⁰). The warmest sea is in March: up to +30⁰, the coldest, when the water can cool below +27⁰, is in July. At first glance, you can relax here all year round. But still, the time of the trip should be taken more seriously.

Indeed, Nusa Dua is located on the east coast, which is not affected by the storms that block access to the beaches in the west. In addition, during this period an additional “option” opens up in the form of surfing. But still, deadly humidity, terrible heat, as well as frequent downpours that can cancel all planned excursions can significantly spoil your vacation.

So, Nusa Dua is a well-groomed and cozy resort offering a calm, “lazy” and comfortable holiday. The disadvantages include some distance from many of the most interesting Balinese attractions and, of course, not very pleasant prices.

Hello my readers. I want to tell you about my beloved Nusa Dua.

It is considered the most expensive on the entire island.

The area is fenced with security at the entrance. Every car is checked. But what I like about the Balinese is that the security always apologizes to tourists and drivers for the disturbance and inconvenience caused.

There are 5 and 4 star hotels on the coast. Of course the most expensive on the entire coast of Bali.

How to get there from the airport.

You can get from the airport to the Nusa Dua area by Uber taxi. The cost is about 70,000-80,000 rupees (5 - 7 $). But Uber is new to the island and so sometimes the system fails. In addition, drivers sometimes cannot determine where to pick up a client. They refer to a taxi service that does not give a clear picture of where to wait for the client.

Keep in mind that sometimes the driver asks to pay for his time in the parking lot, about 4,000 - 10,000 rupees.

If you catch a taxi yourself, drivers start with 200,000 rupees (about $15), but feel free to bargain and drop to 100,000 - 120,000 rupees (7-8 $).

All hotels have a pick-up service at the airport. Then the cost will be 260,000 - 300,000 rupees (25 - 30 $).

Beach.

When we were going to Bali for the first time in 2012, we read many reviews that the island was not intended for a beach holiday.

Bali is beautiful. And I prefer the coast of Nusa Dua, for its beautiful, always clean beach, turquoise water and calm waves.

Beach at Nusa Dua Beach & Spa

This place is ideal for families with children. Good entry into the sea, warm water +32 and soft sand, what else is needed for a children's holiday.

The water is clean and clear, if you swim a little from the shore with a mask and snorkel, you can watch the fish. Pretty good snorkeling.

My children never left the water. It took a lot of effort to lure them to shore. The eldest disappeared with a mask, and the youngest splashed near the shore.
Somewhere the water goes very far at low tide. But if you walk a little to the side, you can swim calmly.

Beach at the Novotel hotel. You can always swim here.

You can always swim on the beach, which belongs to the Novotel hotel. It's true there is a strong current there. But again, everything can be solved by walking towards the Ayodya Hotel.

The water is clean and clear, water temperature +32. Children cannot be removed from the water.

All hotels have their own sun loungers. Security guards keep order on the beach.

Each hotel has its own sun loungers. Trees create natural shade. Security on the beach keeps order.

In 2018, we stayed on the Jimbaran coast, and when we arrived to sunbathe on the Nusa Dua beach, we were faced with the fact that security really makes sure that the sunbeds are occupied only by hotel guests. We were sincerely surprised when we offered to pay for sunbeds.

We managed to do this only at the INAYA Putri Bali Resort. The cost of 2 sun loungers was 100,000 rupees (about 7-8 $) for the whole day.

The purest sand Nusa Dua

The bay where the hotel is located was a quiet, calm place in 2012 (we visited the island for the first time). Now (2018) the beach is quite noisy, the Balinese have organized scooter rides. They park right next to the hotel. The constant noise of the engine disturbs vacationers.

Beach sellers selling all sorts of nonsense are not too intrusive. You can purchase excursions from them.

Masseuses hide and operate mainly in the beach area of the Ayoda Hotel. The massage is not even bad. We did it almost every day. Women try with all their hearts.

Nusa Dua beach is long. There is a paved path between the hotels and the beach. It's very nice to take a walk in the evening.

It is very comfortable to walk along the asphalt path along the beach. You can also rent a bicycle.

Also along this path you will quickly reach the Bali Collection shopping center.

You can find anything you want in a shopping center.

The closest way to get from the hotel is along the shore, or take a bus from the hotel reception, which will take you to the shops for free. You can return, the same on it.
There are shops with clothes, souvenirs, currency exchange offices, supermarkets, and of course cafes and restaurants.

On the territory of shopping areas, there are a huge number of cafes and restaurants.

Stores with branded clothing (mostly sportswear) are not the cheapest.
The SOGO chain of stores is located in Bali Collection. In addition to branded brands, it features brands from local designers. Sometimes they are very worthwhile and at a reasonable price.

A large number of branded silk scarves, very beautiful. They will be a wonderful souvenir for any fashionista. I bought this scarf in 2012 and it’s still like new.

There is a department of toys, shoes, bags, jewelry and souvenirs made of wood.

You can buy designer items at the lowest cost. Maybe someone will appreciate this thing))))

Cafes and restaurants offer exchanges from different countries, for any budget. Almost all establishments have a menu in Russian. In the evening, musicians play live music.

Signboard of one of the cafes. we passed by this sucking pig. But maybe someone will dare to experiment? Write in the comments, would you try this dish?

Entertainment.

People come to Nusa Dua to relax and there is not much entertainment here. Fans of active night parties and get-togethers should go to Kuta.

Eat . This theatrical performance takes place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Ticket prices start from 500,000 rupees per adult, from 260,000 rupees per child. The price depends on the place in the hall.

Tickets can be purchased on the official website, at the hotel and from distributors.

If you buy tickets at the hotel, a free shuttle will take you there and back.

We attended this event. It is unreasonably expensive. I can’t say that I liked it much, much less squealed with delight. If you are planning to visit a safari park, then I advise you not to even waste money and time on Devdan, because it is only a pitiful semblance of the Agung Show in the Safari Park.
