After we visited the Royal Furniture Factory, I had no idea that anything else could impress me so much that day. But then we went to Erawan Falls. Guys! This is a real miracle!

On this topic: the entire series of travel reports to Pattaya and a detailed trip plan. I also advise you to book an excursion to the River Kwai online for any date.

Some information for reference. Erawan is not only a waterfall, but also a national park. It is located in the province of Kanchanaburi and flows from the Mong Lai (Monglai) and Omtala (Omtala) rivers. The waterfall consists of 7 (!) cascades, its total length is 1.7 kilometers, and its height is 831 meters! The highest cascade is located at an altitude of 966 meters above sea level. There is a hiking trail with signs throughout the park, along which you can go up and swim in each cascade. Tropical evergreen jungle combined with a waterfall is a complete blast!

How to get from Pattaya to Erawan Falls

The easiest way is to take an excursion to the River Kwai with a visit to Erawan (be careful, there is an option without visiting this gorgeous waterfall). A carriage and a small cart are provided for viewing the cascades of time.

On your own: you need to come to Kanchanaburi province on a rented bike or car. You can also get there by bus, there will be 3 transfers: Pattaya - Bangkok - Kanchanaburi - Erawan (bus No. 8170).

It is better to plan an independent trip for a couple of days; you can stay in numerous hotels in the province.

Cost of visit: 400 baht per adult. Children under 14 years old - only 100 baht.

Working hours: from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The water is very clean, with a blue tint. A place of unreal strength and beauty. If only there were no other people nearby, it would be ideal... To be alone with nature in such a wonderful place.

I am in awe of tropical plants and nature in general, so the national park made a crazy impression on me. Are you overwhelmed with emotions when you see such beauty before your eyes?

The sensations that you experience while standing there and looking at the water cannot be conveyed by any photographs. I strongly advise you to visit here yourself and experience it, feel the nature.

Unfortunately, while walking along the trail, I did not note which cascade I was going through. Therefore, I can’t say exactly what level of the waterfall is in the photo. But who needs this dry data when you just need to watch!

So, I continue. We slowly reached the next level. Every time it becomes more majestic and larger. But now there is no escape from the people in the photo, everyone is swimming and frolicking. I'll just leave here photos of the most beautiful cascade.

There are fish swimming in the water, nipping in the hope of snatching a piece of dead skin. I can’t stand them, so everyone swam, but I didn’t.

We went down. But I see interesting things everywhere! And these thickets fascinate me. Looks like bamboo.

Anton got tired and decided to sit down to rest. We are waiting for everyone to return, and we are going to the hotel to have dinner and check in.

We arrived at one of the hotels, which is located right on the banks of the River Kwai. In general, it is correct to call her Khwena. For some reason, the name is Kwai for tourists, although translated from Thai it sounds like a curse word.

There is even a swimming pool on site, but we won’t swim in it. Tomorrow it’s very early to get up, you need to eat and have time to rest.

They offer us a pretty good dinner buffet. Dinner time is not only for humans, but also for cats.

We are offered a choice of rooms: on land or on water. We choose, of course, on the water, when such an opportunity arises.

The inside of the room doesn't look very good. 🙂 Instead of wallpaper - plywood treated with stain. The room is quite spacious, with a balcony and river view. But now you can’t see anything, it’s pitch black. You can only hear the murmur of water in complete darkness.

The bed linen is fresh. There is not a stain on the bed, it is the shadow from the backpack falling.

In the middle is the entrance door, on the right is the toilet, on the left is the shower. There is a small mirror on the left, and there is a hanger there. There is very little lighting. The room is twilight.

Separately, I would like to say a few words about the shower. He's certainly impressive. Everything is not just old, but very old. To be honest, this was the first time I used such a shower. The adjustments are strange, and it was pouring hot and cold. But for one night it's tolerable. Having somehow rinsed off, we went to bed.

Well, what can I say as a conclusion... You need to go to Erawan! This is a stunningly beautiful waterfall, an incredible hiking trail and a tropical jungle. This national park is one of the best places I have visited anywhere. And if you also come here on an excursion, as we did, you will see many other interesting objects in a couple of days. And you’ll even spend the night in a strange hotel on the water.

Tomorrow we will continue the most exciting excursion: elephant riding, river rafting, a narrow-gauge railway, another waterfall! So many emotions are still ahead!

Surrounded by pristine nature near Pattaya there are two amazingly beautiful waterfalls - Namtok Chan Ta Tien and Erawan. Each of them is unique and is a natural monument of national importance. Erawan Falls is larger and has many tiers, but visiting it will take at least one day. Namtok Chan Ta Tien Waterfall can be visited in just two hours; geographically, it is located very close to Pattaya.

The waterfall is an ideal place to escape from the bustle of the city and enjoy the magnificent scenery of Thailand. You won’t find crowds of tourists here like at the larger Erawan Falls. However, here you can listen to birdsong, swim in the clearest water and simply have a picnic in the fresh air.

The waterfall looks most amazing during the end period, namely in October. This is also the best time to swim in the waterfall pools. During the dry season, the waterfall consists of large jets of water falling from the rocks.

Namtok Chan Ta Tien Waterfall consists of two main trails that are accessible to tourists:

The first one runs along all the steps of the waterfall, of which there are more than 5. At each level of the cascades there is a pool with cool and clean water. You can swim here, and the most beautiful photos are taken by tourists at the 4th level of the Namtok Chan Ta Tien waterfall.
The second trail runs along the vibrant jungle, which is no less breathtaking. Here you can find many forest inhabitants - birds, mammals, insects, freshwater and a large number of different tropical plants.

All hiking trails are well-maintained, each of them has organized places to rest - gazebos and benches, as well as signs indicating the further path, so as not to get lost in the dense forests.

How to get to Namtok Waterfall?

Namtok Chan Ta Tien Waterfall can be easily reached from Pattaya with only two modes of transport - taxi or songthaew. There are no intercity buses in this direction. The waterfall is located halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya.

The distance to this waterfall from Pattaya is only 25 km, and the cost of a taxi ranges from 1100 to 1500 baht. You can also get to the waterfall by your own or rented car, which must be left in the parking lot of the natural park. Travel time by transport will take no more than an hour there and back.

Entrance to the territory of the national park and waterfall is paid - 200 baht, and opening hours are daily from 8 am to 5 pm. The last tourists are allowed into the park only until 16:00. The waterfall has a very developed infrastructure, including organized places for recreation and picnics, equipped hiking trails, as well as several guest houses for those wishing to spend the night.

When entering the second level of Erawan Falls, national park rangers check things for food and bottles. They care very much about the environment here and do not allow any litter. You are allowed to take only one bottle of water, which must then be presented empty upon exit.

The entire territory of Erawan Falls is surrounded by pristine nature - it is an exotic jungle with a wide variety of tropical plants and animals. You will be able to see a large number of monkeys here, but feeding them is strictly prohibited as they can become aggressive.

The height of the waterfall is more than 1700 meters, on which there are seven levels of cascades. Each of them has its own swimming pool and even areas for fishing in natural conditions.

How to get to Erawan Falls?

The distance to Erawan Falls is very impressive - 300 km northwest of Pattaya. The most profitable way to get here is with an excursion, which is sold at all travel agencies on. Its cost is about 2000 baht for an adult; the waterfall takes about three hours.

Another option is to rent a taxi, but the minimum price one way will be around 3,000 baht.

If you travel independently by public transport, you will have to make several transfers:

first get to the Bangkok bus station;
then take a bus to Kanchanaburi province from the south or north terminal of Bangkok;
From the province, the distance to the national park is about 65 km, it can be covered by a city bus, which runs every day from 8 am to 5 pm, the ticket costs 35 baht.

To escape from the bustle of the city resort of Pattaya, you should definitely go to the Erawan and Namtok Chan Ta Tien waterfalls, which are national natural monuments. In the fresh air you can enjoy beautiful scenery and birdsong, and also organize a picnic.

Recently, Thailand has been strongly associated with exotic holidays. But besides gorgeous beaches and luxurious palm trees, there are places that should be visited by all guests of the country. These will definitely include Erawan Falls, located on the territory of the National Park of the same name in the province of Kanchanaburi.

Erawan Falls is a whole cascade of waterfalls, and is recognized as one of the most beautiful in Asia. In total, Erawan has 7 cascades with a total length of 1.7 kilometers. The total height of the water fall is 831 meters. The waterfall begins at a height of 996 meters above sea level and ends at an altitude of 165 meters above the sea. At the foot of each cascade there are pools, so Erawan Falls consists not only of waterfalls, but also of beautiful small lakes.

The cascades of Erawan Falls are considered to be from the bottom up, that is, against the flow of water. The seventh cascade (the highest and most difficult to access) is very reminiscent of the ancient mythical Hindu animal called Erawan. This is a three-headed elephant that was ridden by the Indian god Indra. This is where the name came from.

Erawan Falls lies in the bed of the Om Tala River, which in turn originates on the western slopes of the Tenasserim mountain range. It is noteworthy that the color of Erawan's water has rich emerald, blue, turquoise and blue colors. This is due to the high content of calcium carbonate in the water, washed out by rivers from the dolomite and limestone layers of the nearby mountains.

Erawan is literally surrounded by lush tropical greenery all year round, and the stunning color of the water complements and enhances the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

The first three cascades of the waterfall are easily accessible. There is a fairly convenient path leading to them. Some trails are even paved. The first and second levels are very popular among local residents. They often have picnics here.

The second and third levels are most suitable for swimming. The higher the waterfall level, the more difficult it is to reach. But in any case, the sixth cascade can be reached relatively easily, but the seventh can only be reached via a bamboo staircase. On the way, you may come across wooden floors and logs, along which you must cross streams of water. Make sure you have quality hiking shoes.

Erawan Falls is the main attraction of Erawan Park. But besides him, there is still something to see here. The area of the park is about 550 km2. On its territory there are also the Fa Lun waterfall (in the original Pha Lun), the coast of the Kwai River (Khwae Yai), the Sri Nakharin Dam and karst caves: Mi, Rua, Van Bagdan and Fartat in which ancient rock paintings were discovered. The entire territory of the park is beautiful protected tropical forests.

Typically, excursions to Erawan Park last 3-4 hours, but this time is definitely not enough to discover at least a little of all the wonders of these places. Therefore, you can use the services of guest houses and bungalows in the park. If you stay there overnight, in the morning you will have the opportunity to see the surrounding beauty with a minimum of tourists. In addition, you will not have to pay to enter the park again. Again, Erawan Falls may not be occupied by locals and tourists in the morning. During the day it is usually crowded, as in the photo below.

Rules for visiting Erawan Falls

Visiting the waterfall is possible all year round, but you will have to follow a number of established rules.
Entrance to the park and, accordingly, to the waterfall is paid.
On the first (lowest) level you will be asked to leave your things and bags. For their safety, special cells are provided.
If you come to the waterfall with animals (oh well!!!), then you will have to leave them in specially designated areas for a while. Visiting with animals is prohibited.
Carrying food above the second level of the waterfall is prohibited. You are allowed to take only water with you, and then no more than one bottle per person. You leave a small deposit for it, and when you present the empty bottle on the way back, the deposit is fully returned to you. All this is done for maximum preservation of such a unique natural monument.
After 16-00 the climb above the second level of the waterfall is closed.

Here you will definitely find where to relax and at the same time what to see in the surrounding area!

One of these stunning natural places in Thailand is the twelfth-oldest (1975) Erawan National Park, which is located in an area of more than 500 square kilometers of mountainous terrain covered with dense jungle and fertile valleys, deep in the province of Kanchanaburi.

Erawan National Park is vast and rich in natural beauty, so tourists will find many interesting places here, but, no matter what, everyone in the province of Konchanaburi should visit the waterfalls called Erawan and Phalun, the River Kwai, various karst caves of Rua, Phra That, Tha Duang, as well as the Sri Nakarin Dam.

When to visit?

Despite the fact that the park is open to visitors all year round, the best time to travel to Erawan is still considered to be from November to the end of January. During this period, the weather in the park and its surroundings is quite comfortable for relaxation and walking.

As for the hot season in Thailand (from early February to April), during this period it is especially hot in Erawan Park and it will be extremely difficult for unprepared tourists to stay on its territory for a long time.

Erawan National Park is open to the public every day from 08:00 am to noon to 4:30 pm. Depending on what time you arrive, there are some restrictions. For example, an hour before the park area closes, you will not be able to see the Erawan Falls above the second level. We recommend that you go to the park in the first half of the day: this way you can leisurely explore everything that seems interesting to you and will not be constrained by any restrictions.

A visit to Erawan National Park is paid: an entrance ticket for an adult and children over 14 years old will cost 400 baht, for children under 14 years of age, but over 3 years old - 100 baht, for children under three years old - entry is absolutely free.

How to get there?

If you decide to go to the park on a centralized excursion from a travel agency, then take an interest in those designated as a trip to the River Kwai. At the same time, be sure to clarify the question of whether the excursion to the River Kwai includes visits to other attractions of Erawan Park and how long you plan to stay on its territory. If your chosen excursion to the River Kwai is designated as three hours or less, it is not advisable to visit it, unless you want to see only the River Kwai, and not the park and other attractions of the province.

In the case when tourists are planning an independent trip, first of all, it is necessary to get from their resort to the central city of Kanchanaburi province using any convenient means of transport. Erawan National Park is located approximately 63 - 65 kilometers from its borders.

In Bangkok, go to the Chonburi area at the South Station, from where bus No. 8170 departs hourly from 08:00 to 17:20 towards the park. The cost of the trip is about 100 baht one way.

You can also get from the capital of Thailand to the River Kwai and other attractions of Kanchanaburi province from where minibuses and songthaews depart twice a day (at 13.30 and 18.30).

The distance from a to the main entrance to the park is about 200 kilometers. The journey takes 3 -3.5 hours.

Main attractions

Erawan Falls is a seven-cascade stream of water with a maximum height of about 830 meters and a length of 1.7 kilometers. The lowest level is located at an altitude of about 165 meters above sea level, while the highest point is at an altitude of about 1,000 meters. Erawan Falls, as a unique natural site, and the park administration, in order to preserve the natural beauty of this place, forces tourists to adhere to the rules established here:

— do not go above the first level with packages and large bags (all things are left in special storage rooms);

— it is prohibited to bring animals to the waterfall (if you are with a pet, you will have to leave it in a place specially equipped for this);

— you can bring food and drinks only up to the second level, everything above is available for visiting only with one half-liter bottle of water per person, and even then with a deposit of 20 baht (money will be returned only in exchange for an empty bottle).

Those who have ever visited Erawan Falls do not always remember the established rules, but they remember its beauty and unusual color of water for a long time. The waters of the rivers that form the waterfall are saturated with calcium carbonate, and therefore the water in the Erawan waterfall is quite variable: its color can vary from turquoise to a deep emerald color. For the convenience of visitors, a fairly comfortable and wide path with stairs runs along the levels, however, sometimes it is blocked by rocky ledges, and not everyone can climb above the fifth level, since from this level the path is bad, and those who want to see more will have to show strength and skill .

The road to the top of the waterfall can take quite a long time, especially since at each level the waters of the waterfall form a reservoir where you can swim and relax. The second and third tiers are considered the most convenient for swimming, but if you are not confident in yourself as a good swimmer, take a swimming vest as security.

In the park's ponds you can find schools of fish used in spa salons for fish massage. Here you can undergo this procedure absolutely free and for as long as you want.

Karst caves are considered another must-see attraction of the national park. There are quite a few of them here, but only a few are considered the most popular and visited: Ta Duang (inside there is rock painting with images of people and forest), Phra That (inside there are many stalactites and stalagmites of bizarre shape and size), Mee (according to the beliefs of local residents, this the cave was once inhabited, since all five of its halls are well ventilated and quite comfortable for life), Rua (several relics are stored inside, making the cave look like a fairy-tale place), Wang Badan (a cave with a river, in which there are several halls with brilliant beautiful stones).

The Mong Lai Trail is another attraction of the park. It is laid through dense thickets of evergreen vegetation. The walk on this trail takes on average about an hour, during which you will pass through twelve different natural areas.

The Khao Hin Lan Phi Trail is about 5 kilometers long. A walk along it takes on average 2.5 – 3 hours. The trail ends at the fifth level of the Erawan waterfall. When choosing walks along the trails, be extremely careful and keep up with the group of tourists, as there are many branches from the established trails that can take you deeper into the park.

Phalun waterfall is not as large and beautiful as Erawan, but it also deserves attention, especially during the rainy season, when this single-level beauty reveals itself in all its glory.

Accommodation in the park and surrounding area

If you intend to thoroughly explore the entire territory of the park without missing a single interesting place, you will have to spend the night in the park or its surroundings in order to continue your fascinating exploration the next morning. It is best to do this in the park itself, so you can save on the entrance fee.

For tourists, it is possible to rent a tent or a house on the territory of a campsite specially equipped for this purpose. If you have your own tent, then the cost of a place for you is only 30 baht, in the same case when you need a tent, count on the amount of 90 - 300 baht (depending on the size). Renting a bungalow for a day also depends on the number of people and will cost from 800 baht to 2,500 baht.

River Kwai: exciting excursions

Despite the fact that the River Kwai itself does not flow through the territory of the national park, excursion tours to it often involve visiting the waterfall itself, since these attractions are located in the same province of Thailand. True, an undoubted disadvantage is the fact that in this case you will not be able to stay in the park as much time as you want, but you will still be able to see one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand - Erawan.

In addition to visiting the park area, excursions to the River Kwai include visiting coconut plantations, a teak factory and other interesting places in the province.

The duration of the excursion program to the River Kwai can be from 3-4 hours to several days.

The one who created Thailand endowed the country with amazingly beautiful nature. Clear sea with magnificent beaches, small green islands, forests and waterfalls. In Thailand there is where to relax and there is something to see! One of these places is Erawan National Park, where the famous seven-level Erawan waterfall is located. This waterfall, named after the three-headed elephant of the god Aruna, is what we wanted to see.

According to eyewitnesses, the water in the waterfall is unusually clear and has an amazing color: emerald and turquoise. We decided to stay in Erawan National Park near the waterfall for three days and celebrate the New Year there.

Erawan National Park

Erawan National Park was established in 1975 as the 12th national park of the Kingdom of Thailand. It is located in the province and covers an area of high mountains, covering an area of 550 sq. km, covered with jungles and fertile valleys.

The best time to visit the park is from November to January. At this time, the weather is pleasant and not too hot.

The main common forest type in the park is mixed deciduous forest, covering approximately 81 percent of the total area. Among the animals you can meet the Indian elephant, tiger, chamois, Sambar deer, wild boars, gibbons, langur, Siamese hare, red flying squirrel, pheasants, peacocks, white-eyed eagles, king cobra, ribbon krait, Asian rock python, as well as many species of river fish, freshwater crabs and insects. In the evening, at the waterfall, we met a huge monitor lizard, more like a crocodile.

In the park you can not only see the waterfall and walk through the forest, but also explore the caves located nearby. We decided that we wouldn’t make a fuss on New Year’s Day and settled on a waterfall and a walk in the park.

What inspires respect in Thais is the way they treat their nature, ecology and garbage.

Thailand is the cleanest of the major Asian countries. No matter what beautiful and interesting place we come to, such as or - Thais walk everywhere, with families, youth groups, families, together and even alone (but this is a rare case).

That is, Thailand is not only a business where everything is tailored for the visiting tourist. The Thais created their own parks for themselves. This place turned out to be the Erawan waterfall and the park around it.

Levels of Erawan Falls

We expected to see a mountain with a mass of water falling from it. Something like Niagara, but in Thailand the waterfalls are different - “calm”.

Erawan Falls consists of seven levels (tiers), with a length of 1700 meters.

A path leads to the waterfall itself through a mixed deciduous forest. The waterfall is formed by two rivers descending from the slopes of a high hill.

A bridge or path leads to each tier (cascade), rising higher and higher into the mountain. You have to go to every step. Along the bridge and clearing, through the forest and paths. The countdown of tiers starts from the bottom. The height of the lower tier above sea level is 165 meters. The highest point of Erawan is 996 meters.

Favorite vacation spots for Thais are tiers 1-3. But the third one has significantly fewer people. The higher you go, the fewer people there are. Few people reach the seventh cascade, which is what gave the waterfall its name (the outline of the cascade is similar to the three heads of Erawan’s elephant).

Upper tier of the waterfall

On the first level there is a toilet, shower, food (snack), storage cells - park security will not allow you to go further with bags. Bags must be checked in. There are benches where you can lie, sit, read, and meditate.

The first level of the waterfall itself is low, behind it is a grotto; in the grotto you can take on heavy streams of water as if in the shower. You can hide behind them, which is what the vacationers did. A fairly large fish swims near the shores of the waterfall “lake”.

Be careful! In addition to food and benches, there are monkeys who are not averse to plunder. The faces are evil, you gape, and a hairy hand reaches out from above. You look up and you’ll be met with such an aggressive look and clicking of teeth that it’s worth giving away the food. Or stay away from trees.

Experienced holidaymakers

Bring rice or tortillas with you. “Tame” fish go to their feeders in shoals, forming a shiny living mass. This is cool. Especially for kids.

You can swim in the lake at all levels. Thais swim in their clothes and somehow look askance at naked Europeans. We were a little embarrassed, but overcame ourselves and swam in our usual swimsuits.

Thais love to swim with their clothes on, and then lie for a long time, arms outstretched, in the streams of quiet streams that form a river.

I won't talk about each level in detail. Each step has its own highlight. Naturally, not everyone goes to the very top, to level 7. But Galka and I, of course, went)) I wanted to see everything!

Food and lodging in the park

Whether you come on a day trip or decide to stay within the park, the question of food will come up.

Small cafes and shops are located in the same area where buses arrive from Kanchanaburi. The set is usual: fruits, pineapple, watermelon, salads, chicken. But there is also something exotic – sweet and sour fried pork ears.

We really enjoyed the cold iced coffee. Never seen anything so delicious anywhere else! Be sure to try it. By the way, we bought Thai coffee beans here. One standard vacuum package (per sample). I should have taken two! Good coffee.

On the first tier of the waterfall you can eat, buy T-shirts, souvenirs, small things (like in regular supermarkets), and buy food to take with you. If you come with a pet, there are special places where you need to leave them. You cannot take them to the waterfall.

You can only be with food on the first level. By the way, near the first cascade there are also a couple of snack trays.

Please note that you cannot take food with you beyond the first level! Only water. One bottle of water per person.

In Erawan National Park, as in other parks in Thailand, you can stay overnight for a maximum of 3 nights.

If you live outside the park and the next day you want to visit it again, you will need to pay 400W/person again. If you live within the park, you don’t need to pay 400W every day. Once is enough.

Water rescue service in Thailand, in Erawan

We saw the water rescue service not only in Erawan National Park. It is also located near other waterfalls. The service works great! We have seen this ourselves.

The first level cascade is a quiet place. The water is, of course, cold, but not icy. So, a group of young people - girls and boys - were frolicking next to us. They fiddled around, splashed each other with water, and played. There was no hooliganism, mischief or stupid games on the water.

And suddenly one girl turned white and began to sink strangely into the water. The guy picked her up.

A middle-aged man in what looked like a uniform was walking on the shore. So, he instantly noticed that something was wrong! And we drew attention to the situation thanks to his quick actions. He took off his shoes and socks, some kind of long-sleeved jacket and jumped into the water.

All his actions took about 15 seconds. After 30, he was already holding the girl and transporting her to the shore. Having laid her on the ground, he began to rub her body and skillfully do some exercises. The girl raised her head and spoke.

The incident with the girl surprised me: the guys didn’t drink, didn’t smoke, and were careful. Maybe, after all, hypothermia or heart disease. Maybe it’s no coincidence that Thais swim in their clothes...

Entertainment in Erawan

At one level, water flows over huge boulders. Risky people ride on these rock and water slides on their butts. Extreme entertainment. Few people ride, the rest watch with pleasure and want to try.

Fish live on the second tier. There are many small boulders in the running water. The bottom is pebbly. On the rocks you can see people dipping their feet into the water. People have a strange expression on their faces: some are silent in concentration, some laugh at the top of their lungs, some hold back their face, but it constantly changes its expression.

Peeling fish live here. In Thailand, there are quite often small salons with the inscription “Fish massage”. If you haven’t tried fish massage yet, we definitely recommend giving it a try.

You put your feet in an aquarium with running water, and special fish live in it. They pounce on your legs and begin to pinch - pinch off pieces of used skin. The service costs from 100 – 150 baht.

Larger fish live in the Erawan waterfall, but the meaning is the same - you put your feet in the water, the fish fly in and pinch off micro pieces of skin. Peeling. The service is free.

The water in the cascades is indeed either emerald or turquoise. This is due to the tiny particles of calcium carbonate contained in the water.

There are two entrances to enter the park.

One in the west from the Sai Yok National Park. If you are approaching from Sai Yok Falls, you will need to turn left after Ban Pong Pat village onto road No. 3457. The entrance to the park is located 30 kilometers from this intersection.

There is another entrance in the south, along road No. 3199 coming from Kanchanaburi
