I hasten to leave my essay for all those who are going on vacation to the Royal Beach Hotel. I rested here at the end of November with my ten-year-old daughter. Originally booked Standart room in the third building, but having arrived and inspected the territory, I decided to pay extra for a room in the Prestige building. We checked in within thirty minutes. The difference between this building is its proximity to the beach, only about thirty meters. We had a spacious room with a huge terrace and a private pool. Two single beds, plasma TV, free toilet, refrigerator. The bathroom has both a shower and a Jacuzzi. The cleaning was excellent, the bed and towels were changed frequently. There is bulk sand on the beach, but it is not enough. When entering the sea there are solid rocks, it is best to swim in special shoes or dive from a pontoon. There are no conditions for married couples with children under five years old; for divers it’s simply paradise! The animation was from early morning until late evening. My daughter enjoyed visiting the mini-club. You can eat at the hotel 24 hours a day! There are several restaurants in addition to the main one, but visiting them is strictly by appointment; we never got in. The food in the main restaurant was excellent! A huge selection of meat, fish, fresh and grilled vegetables, side dishes, salads, desserts, fruits. At the pool bar you could snack on cotton candy, ice cream, pizza, and sandwiches. Powdered juices, good quality alcoholic drinks. The staff is generally friendly and polite. There are several Russian-speaking employees, we contacted them with any questions.

Holidays in Sharm el-Sheikh attract my wife and me with interesting diving. This time we stayed at the Rehana Royal Hotel. Its undoubted advantage is its location. First beach line, a huge territory, and behind it a series of restaurants, shops, tourist offices. We were moved into building seven on the second floor. For a standard, the room is spacious. Modern technology, even several Russian channels are shown on TV. Original, comfortable shower design, hot water was always available. Towels were changed on time, as were bed linen. I didn’t like the hotel beach because the sand was mixed with stones, you couldn’t go barefoot even if you wanted to. Entrance to the sea is only via steps from the pontoon. But the Red Sea has completely made us fall in love with it, so you can buy a yacht tour especially for diving. There are many restaurants and bars, the food is excellent everywhere. The main thing is that there is a choice of non-spicy dishes that are familiar to our stomachs. The only thing is that there weren’t enough waiters in the main restaurant; they didn’t always have time to clear tables or bring orders. The drinks are varied, the bartenders pour them from the heart. The animation is very good, the humorous shows are not vulgar at all, and the dance numbers are generally superb.

sea. hotel area. animation is great! We were unlucky in Rehana 5 for the first time, but we’ve been to Egypt itself more than once and have something to compare with. for the first time I encountered the fact that at an ultra all-inclusive hotel I had to beg for food and drinks. It’s just terrible. With a child there is nothing to eat there at all. It’s good that we took porridge and unglazed cereals with us from home and there are shops nearby where we could buy fruit. They gave us green physalis in the mountains. green bananas and green melons that won’t make you want to get off the toilet. the beach is dirty. the toilets on the beach don’t even think of looking there. the staff is rude. the dishes are dirty. and there is no disposable food. they openly sell drugs in bars. problem with drinking water, they were given a limited amount of 1.5 liter bottle for 3 people per day. And in the coolers there is water that is simply not drinkable. I don’t recommend going to this hotel. I’m just sorry for the money and time spent.

The area is chic and beautiful) Service 4 out of 10. Room 4 out of 10. Food 4 out of 10. Do not drink tap water! In general, everything is not bad at all for the money, for which we managed to purchase a 10-day tour very profitably.

The main thing is that there is a children's club where you can safely leave the children and do things like exercise, drawing, crafts, cartoons. There are slides and it's great. The food is excellent, and most importantly, constant. The only negative is that children 2 and 4 years old were not able to swim, since there are coral “baths” near the shore and the tide is low after a quiet hour (((We would love to go again in April, but the price is biting now. Now the children are watching and rejoicing, remembering, they shout that they want to come here again.

Pros: Large green area, a large number of swimming pools, many sun loungers both by the pools and on the beach, attentive staff, bright room, working equipment, towels are changed every day, good food, a very rich animation program.

Minuses: Entering the sea on a pontoon.

We were there for a short time, so there is no strong negative impression. Probably, there was not enough time for this) On the plus side: a fairly large area, well-groomed, there are two categories of rooms (old rooms and prestige - 30 percent more expensive), proximity to the airport....More ▾ We were there for a short time, so there is no strong negative impression. Probably there wasn't enough time for this)

On the plus side: a fairly large area, well-groomed, there are two categories of rooms (old rooms and prestige - 30 percent more expensive), proximity to the airport.

Of the minuses:

The old buildings are a little “tired”, but not critical (the air conditioner is loud, the balcony rattles from drafts, the cladding is shabby, etc.), but they are cleaned cleanly;

Staff - they can be rude, they skimp on giving out food, they can get frostbitten if they ask for two pieces at once;

The alcohol is generally bad, it seems like everything was poured from the same barrel. There are 5 bottles on the bars: whiskey, vodka, tequila, rum and something else. And beer. Tequila tastes like whiskey, but is more diluted. Therefore, you practically don’t drink alcohol, you protect your health..);

The choice of food is poor, there is only one type of chicken, beef and fish, there are a lot of salads, but they are not labeled (it is not clear what is in them), the choice of fruit is minimal. But the choice of desserts is good..);

There are no juices at the bar at all, only carbonated drinks: Cola-Fanta-Sprite, etc.;

The beer on tap is normal, as is the white wine. You can't drink red - it feels like it was diluted with chlorinated water. But wine is served only at lunch and dinner and only in restaurants. There is nowhere else. At the bar, wine is only for extra. payment and in bottles only;

Toilets are closed wherever the location is on break. If you are coming from the beach and want to go to the toilet near a restaurant or bar on the way (and the restaurant or bar is not open yet), it turns out that the toilets there are also locked;

The animation is weak. There is nothing to do in the evening. Tourists either at the reception sit on the Internet or by numbers. There are few people on the territory in the evening;

The sea is also not very good. A long beach with shallow water (up to 0.5 m), and then a sharp cliff 20-25 meters deep. Flow. Evening and waves. The flag is either red (no swimming) or yellow (caution). I asked a local if there are cases when they hang green (calm water), he said that this does not happen. At the entrance to the pontoon there is a notice that children under 12 years old are prohibited from swimming from the pontoon;

I bought an Elisalat local communication card at the airport, it turned out that it did not receive an Internet connection on the hotel premises (although this is strange). I had to use roaming;

At the end of November, the hotel was at best half full, so the food was poor and the second restaurant was completely closed;

We were impressed by the slides (like the Water Park) and the large number of swimming pools. But it turned out that only two pools are heated, the rest are quite cold and it is very uncomfortable to swim in them for a long time. Frozen quickly with a child (

The summary is this: if you are on a short holiday for adults with the prospect of diving or freediving or going on excursions, then you can stay in this hotel. He won't have time to get bored.

Definitely not for families with children. Apart from the slides, there is no other entertainment for children.

P.S. By the way, there is one rude Anex-Tour guide (Abdula) who works there, who during introductory meetings tries to sell various excursions for an hour. And in response to all objections or disagreement, listen for a long time and begin to express remarks like “Don’t teach me how to work”, “You are our guest, so listen to what they tell you.” And if this doesn’t work and the dialogue continues, then he pretends to be offended and defiantly asks you to leave the room, declaring that he will not work with you...
