Due to the small number of tourists, the beaches are quite clean, and there is no need to wander around in pursuit of a free place in the sun. The infrastructure is developed at an average level, which defines the resort. But nevertheless, there is everything for a good rest: hotels, tourist centers, sanatoriums, water parks,

Stanitsa Golubitskaya is waiting for its guests

The Azov Sea is attractive from the Russian side with the village of Golubitskaya, Temryuk region. The city itself is located quite far from the coast, but its nearby villages are a real resort paradise for tourists. Some of these can be called Peresyp, Volna, Kuchugury, Veselovka. Silence, interrupted by unobtrusive sounds of nature, birdsong, the sound of the sea surf - this is how these places can be characterized. In the villages, life seems to freeze, and a blissful peace sets in, which is so lacking for city people. And the Taman Peninsula, where many health centers are concentrated, is waiting for its guests to save them from illness and give them health for the whole year, until the next season. Fans of active recreation will not be bored for a minute; unforgettable experiences await them from boating, water skiing, and motorcycles. Recreation and entertainment at affordable prices is the main characteristic of Temryuk resort villages.

Thus, the Azov Sea on the Russian side can boast of worthy cities and towns that will gladly welcome everyone and give them an unforgettable vacation and a great mood.

The port is located on the coast of the Azov Sea.

It originates from a sea pier for merchant ships, founded in 1827.

Berdyansk sea trade port is the only maritime transport hub in the Zaporozhye region.

Today, mainly export cargo passes through the Berdyansk port. The largest cargo flow consists of scrap metal and metal products (wire, ingots, sheet metal, etc.). The main suppliers are metallurgical plants of Zaporozhye and Donetsk. Metal reloading is carried out using factory technology, which ensures the safety of the cargo and almost doubles the processing rate. A significant place is occupied by the transshipment of clay intended for porcelain production, coal and grain.

The total area of the port is 274,816 square meters. m, including production - 168,160 sq. m.

All port berths have railway tracks and road access.

The port has 9 berths.

Since the spring of 2000, a specialized complex for reloading vegetable oil has been operating. Possibilities: up to 3-4 thousand tons per day according to the direct option.

The port has 5 receiving bunkers for unloading hoppers.

The port has a marine terminal. Available: passenger floating berth 200 m long;

passenger pier for yachts and pleasure boats. The port provides only local passenger transportation. However, it is capable of accepting passenger ships with a length of 170 m with a draft of 7.9 m

Mariupol port

The birth of the Mariupol port was a logical continuation of the rapid development of industry in the south of Russia in the second half of the 19th century. On September 2, 1889, 18 wagons loaded with coal were delivered to the port embankment. This date is considered the beginning of the operation of the port, which was of great importance for the country.

According to the volume of allocations in the period 1867-1904. The port of Mariupol, which did not have a military purpose, ranked third in Russia.

Today the port is one of the four leading ports in Ukraine. Its capacity allows it to process over 12 million tons of cargo per year. This is the largest and most equipped port of the Azov Sea, which is rightly called the sea gates of Donbass.

180 km from the port (by land) is Rostov, a large industrial city in Russia, located at the crossroads of many transport routes. Therefore, about 50% of all cargo is Russian. Through the Volga-Don Canal, the Mariinsky System and the White Sea-Baltic Canal, the port is connected to all regions of Russia gravitating towards the Volga, and has access to the Caspian, Baltic and White Seas.

The port area is 67.6 hectares. The length of the berth line is 3.2 km. The port's capacity allows it to process over 12 million tons of cargo per year. The port provides processing of bulk, bulk, general, heavy, oversized, liquid cargo, containers, and other cargo.

Heavy, oversized cargo is reloaded using floating cranes with a lifting capacity of 100 and 150 tons.

The port has a special range for receiving lighter carrier vessels, which allows them to be loaded and unloaded in the closed water area of the port. The port transships fuel oil using the side-to-side option, ensuring the environmental safety of these operations.

Unloading and loading of refrigerated cargo, dangerous goods of the corresponding classes, and bulk fertilizers is carried out according to the direct option.

A specialized coal loading complex allows processing up to 5 million tons of coal per year. It is equipped with car dumpers, conveyor lines, unloading and loading machines, and car defrosters.

The new high-performance container terminal ensures high-speed handling of container ships and delivery of 20- and 40-foot containers on a door-to-door basis. The terminal's capacity is up to 50 thousand TEU per year.

A complex of international sea cargo and passenger services with an area of 2.1 hectares and a capacity of 130 people per voyage was put into operation.

The port has a car depot that allows long-distance and foreign transportation.

Regular cargo and passenger transportation has been organized to Turkey, Greece, and Israel.

Sea fishing ports of Ukraine

  • Ilyichevsk fishing port
  • · Mariupol fishing port

In January-May 2014, the volume of cargo handling in the seaports of the continental part of Ukraine (excluding Crimea) amounted to 57.889 million tons, which is 9.4% higher than in the same period last year, reports the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration (USPA). State port operators handled 20.228 million tons (35% of the total volume), private ones - 37.661 million tons at all berths (65% of the total volume) or 20.180 million tons at the USPA berths, 35% of the total volume).

Processing of export cargo increased by 18% to 41.796 million tons, import cargo decreased by 12.4% to 5.896 million tons, transit cargo decreased by 0.4% to 9.995 million tons, coastal cargo decreased by 71.4% to 202 thousand tons Container handling at seaports amounted to 296,750 TEU, which is 2.6% less than in January-May 2013.

Ten out of thirteen seaports increased their cargo turnover. Particularly noticeable are the ports of Oktyabrsk (+43%), Izmailsky (+24.8%), Odessa (+14.6%), Mariupol (+9.4%). A very large percentage of growth (+398.5%) was shown by the Ust-Danube port, but the actual volumes at the port are insignificant. The cargo turnover of Skadovsky, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, and Reni ports has decreased.

IN first half a year 2015 of the year maritime ports countries processed on 2,3% more cargo, how behind January June 2014

The volume of cargo handling in the sea ports of Ukraine in January-June 2015 amounted to 71 million 354 thousand tons. According to the State Enterprise "Administration of Sea Ports of Ukraine", most of the cargo was processed by private port operators - 45 million 720 thousand tons or 64.1% of the total volume. Private port operators processed 21 million 613 thousand tons (30.3% of the total volume) through USPA berths. State port operators, part of the management structure of the Ministry of Infrastructure, processed 25 million 635 thousand tons (35.9% of the total volume).

Structure of cargo flows

Ukrainian seaports mainly handled cargo for export. As statistics show, their share in the total cargo turnover for January-June 2015 was 69%. In total, 49 million 201 thousand tons of export cargo were processed (a drop of 3.1% compared to 2014). The main cargoes exported from Ukraine are grain and ore, the processing of which increased by 13.1% and 28.8%, respectively. They account for more than half of the export flow.

The leaders in transshipment of grain cargo for export are: the port of Yuzhny (4 million 98 thousand tons, +16.9%), Nikolaev port (3 million 556 thousand tons, +33.7%), Odessa port (3 million 536 thousand). tons, +31.6%),

Ilyichevsk port (2 million 401 thousand tons, +18.9%).

The leaders in transshipment of export ore are: Yuzhny port (12 million 216 thousand tons, +23.8%), Izmail port (1 million 277 thousand tons, + 229.3%), Ilyichevsk port (1 million 100 thousand tons, + 544.6%).

Import and transit cargo were processed in almost equal shares at the ports. Import cargo processed was 34.6% more than in 2014 - 9 million 319 thousand tons. 82.6% of the total import cargo flow is accounted for by cargo such as coal, ore and cargo in containers. The leaders in the transshipment of imported coal is the port of Yuzhny - 2 million 384 thousand tons, in the transshipment of imported ore - the Nikolaev port, which processed 2 million 121 thousand tons, in the transshipment of containers - the Odessa port (980 thousand tons).

Transshipment of transit cargo decreased by 17.6%, to 9 million 741 thousand tons.

The main cargoes transiting through Ukraine, despite the reduction in their volumes, remain oil products, coal and ore.

The greatest growth was recorded in the cabotage cargo segment - 10 times, up to 3 million 94 thousand tons, of which 2 million 455 thousand tons are ore. The undisputed leader in the growth of coastal transshipment is the Berdyansk port, which increased its figures from 2.7 thousand tons to 965.9 thousand tons. This is mainly iron ore, which has never been handled at this port before. In the port of Mariupol, coastal transshipment increased from 17.3 thousand tons to 1 million 153 thousand tons, including 1 million 107 thousand tons of ore.

Such a rapid growth in coastal transshipment is the result of a reorientation of cargo flows. The conflict in Donbass led to the fact that the large industrial center of Mariupol, due to the destruction of the railway track during the fighting, found itself in a transport blockade. Metallurgists in the region began to experience difficulties with the delivery of raw materials iron road, there was a threat to stop the metallurgical plants. This led to the emergence of a new logistics route for the delivery of goods: by sea from Berdyansk to Mariupol. Sinter ore and iron ore concentrate began to be supplied to the plants in Mariupol by sea from Berdyansk.

Basic nomenclature of goods

In the total volume of cargo turnover of Ukrainian ports, 65.8% is accounted for by the transshipment of three types of cargo - ore, grain cargo and ferrous metals. In the first 6 months of 2015, there was a drop in volumes for almost all types of cargo. Moreover, the largest of them is in the transshipment of oil (-93.5%), food cargo (-65.4%), cars (-56.2%). The transshipment of cargoes included in the five main ones processed in the ports of Ukraine has decreased: black metals - by 16.1%, and coal - by 21.2%.

The overall growth of cargo traffic through Ukrainian ports was achieved due to timber cargo (+79.4%), ore (+39.8%), construction cargo (+20.8%) and grain cargo (+11.9%).

It should be noted that in the 2014-2015 marketing year, which officially ended on June 30 of this year, Ukraine exported a record amount of grain in the entire history of the state - 36.4 million tons, firmly taking its place in the top three leaders in world grain exports. From January to June 2015, 15 million 476 thousand tons of grain cargo were transshipped through the ports of Ukraine, of which 15 million 182 thousand tons were grain. 14 million 938 thousand tons of grain cargo were sent for export.

The leaders in the transshipment of the three main cargoes passing through Ukrainian ports are: the port of Yuzhny - in the transshipment of grain and grain cargo (4 million 98 thousand tons, +16.9%), as well as ore (13 million 402 thousand tons, + 19.5%). In transshipment of ferrous metals, the Odessa port is ahead (3 million 148 thousand tons, +44.5%).

Ports and stevedores

According to the results of the first half of 2015, of the 13 sea trade ports of Ukraine that provided data, 8 exceeded the same indicators in 2014. The largest growth is at the Berdyansk port - 144.5%. The Oktyabrsk NSR could not reach last year’s level; the lag is more serious at the Mariupol, Reniy, Skadov and Ust-Danube ports.

In terms of cargo turnover, as well as in absolute terms (in terms of growth volume), the port of Yuzhny is the leader, having increased transshipment by 2 million 257 thousand tons of cargo, to 24 million 257 thousand tons. Of the 14 port operators in Yuzhny, six increased cargo handling in the reporting period compared to the same period in 2014: Delta Wilmar SND - up to 259.9 thousand tons (+45.9%), TIS-Minudobreniya - up to 1 million 140 thousand tons (+27.4%), "Transinvestservice" - up to 8 million 965 thousand tons (+26.1%), SE MTP "Yuzhny" - up to 7 million 917 thousand tons (+5.1%) , "Borivazh" - up to 706.7 thousand tons (+4.9%), TIS-Zerno - up to 2 million 732 thousand tons (+2.4%).

The best results for the first six months of 2015 in the port of Yuzhny were achieved in the processing of ore and grain cargo.

The second place in terms of cargo turnover among Ukrainian ports is occupied by the Odessa port with a volume of 12 million 370 thousand tons (+3.5%). The cargo mix in the reporting period was dominated by grain cargo - 3 million 536 thousand tons (+30.9%) and ferrous metals - 3 million 148 thousand tons (+44.5%).

Among the stevedoring companies in the port for cargo handling, the best are "Grintur-Ex" (1 million 439 thousand tons) and "Nikmetterminal" (811 thousand tons).
