Independent trip to Mini Siam Park in Pattaya. What is personal data

Pattaya has one interesting place, where you can see all the most famous and popular attractions of the world at once - this is the Mini Siam park. This is where everyone around the world is represented famous monuments in miniature. In a couple of hours you will visit different parts of the planet and get to know their architecture better. The miniatures are made on a scale of 1:225 and are no different from the originals.

The territory of the Mini Siam park is divided into two zones: Mini Europe and Mini Siam.

Mini Europe Zone

This area features many miniatures of attractions Western Europe. Here you can see the Eiffel Tower, Big Ban, Colosseum, English castle, Arc de Triomphe, German Cathedral and more. Also in this area of the park there are copies of architectural monuments from other parts of the world. For example, the Statue of Liberty, Egyptian pyramids, Australian Opera House, Brazilian Christ Statue and much more. It's especially nice to look at architectural monuments of your country. Russians here will find Moscow's St. Basil's Cathedral and the Volgograd Memorial in honor of the Victory.

It is strange that this zone is called European, since exhibits from different continents are presented here. It would be more correct to call it the Mini Planet zone, but let’s not be too harsh on the creators of the park, they already did a great job.

Mini Siam Zone

This area contains miniatures of Thailand's attractions and neighboring countries. The Mini Siam zone is larger in area than the previous one. Here you can see Freedom Square in Bangkok, King Rama IX Bridge, various Thai temples, Cambodian Angkor Wat, Ayutthaya Historical Park and many other monuments.

All miniatures fully correspond to the original and are made on high level. Near each attraction there are signs where it is given helpful information on English language about this or that monument.

Also, some exhibits are not in a static state. You can watch the planes move at Bangkok Airport. Such layouts arouse delight and interest among children.

Park territory

The paths along the sights are well-groomed, there is a lot of greenery, flowers, fountains, and miniature trees. It's nice to walk here, you can take a lot of interesting and beautiful photos. In the photo it is difficult to understand whether the real landmark or its miniature copy is photographed.

Also in the park there are several small cafes where you can have a snack at quite affordable prices. Therefore, you can walk around the park all day long and you won’t go hungry. In addition to the cafe, there are benches, retail shops and toilets.

Ticket prices

  • Adult - 300 baht.
  • Child - 150 baht.

Opening hours

The miniature park is open every day from 7 am to 10 pm.

I recommend arriving 1-2 hours before sunset, around 5 pm. Then you will be able to see architectural monuments in daylight and in dark time days. With the onset of darkness, the attractions begin to be beautifully illuminated and a special atmosphere reigns in the park. Photos of attractions at night turn out especially beautiful.

How to get there?

Mini Siam Park is located on Sukhumvit Road next to Pattaya Hospital. Therefore, it is not difficult to get to it. Most a budget option trips are tuk-tuk. For 10-20 baht you will be taken to the right place. If you want more comfort, then for 100-200 baht you can take a taxi to the park.

You can also book a tour in advance; its price includes entrance ticket and transfer. You will be picked up from your hotel and driven back. You can purchase a tour at a travel agency or on.

Mini Siam Park on the map

Exact location Mini Siam Park in Pattaya you can see on this map.

We continue to discover the sights of Thailand that we did not have time to see during our first trip. This time we decided to visit the Mini Siam park in Pattaya on our own.

Mini Siam Park opening hours:every day from 7:00 to 22:00

Ticket price:300 baht - tourist ticket, 200 baht - for holders of a Thai driver's license.

How to get there:Mini Siam is located in the north of Pattaya on the right side of Sukhumvit street near the intersection with Na Pattaya street (dolphin street).

We arrived at the park at 17:00 to have time to explore it in natural daylight, and also after sunset to take a walk around Mini Siam in the evening. Next to the park is the oldest go-kart track in Pattaya, so men can send their wives to explore the Mini Siam exhibitions while they themselves go kart racing.

On average, an excursion to this park costs 500 - 600 baht. Since the park is located within the city, even taking into account the cost of a taxi, it is cheaper and more pleasant to go there on your own. We saved a little more on tickets thanks to our Thai license. True, they only sold us one ticket at a discount.

The territory of the park is very small and is divided into two zones: “Mini Europe” and “Mini Siam”. But thanks to the winding streets around the exhibits, you can wander here for a very long time.

The first copy of the monument that appears before visitors to the park is the “Monument to the Unknown Soldier in Volgograd.”

In the Mini Europe zone you can see:

Also in this zone there are non-European architectural structures:

In the Mini Siam zone you can see:

  • Freedom Monument in Bangkok;
  • Wat Phra Kaeo Pagoda in Bangkok;
  • King Rama IX Bridge in Bangkok;
  • Wat Arun Pagoda or Temple of the Dawn (Wat Arun) in Bangkok;
  • Wat Mahathart Pagoda in Suhothai;
  • Phanom Rung Historical Park in Burirum;
  • Marble Throne Hall Anantasmakom Hall;
  • Wat Phra Srisunpetch Pagoda;
  • Ayutthaya Historical Park;
  • other monuments.

A walk between the exhibits of the park inspires you to new travels; you want to see it all in life-size. What impressed us most was the composition temple complex Anchor Wat. We decided that it was time to visit Cambodia and see everything with our own eyes. We have already packed our backpack and are leaving on Friday.

When we arrived at Mini Siam, there were practically no people in the park. By evening, organized groups began to arrive Chinese tourists who really like to take pictures with me.

At six o'clock in the evening, people began to sit down in the recreation area, waiting for darkness to see a completely different - evening Mini Siam.

After dark, the park gives a completely different impression. Everything looks more impressive and large-scale. The exhibitions seem to come to life, lights come on in the windows of small churches.

Overall the park Mini Siammakes a good impression, but I wouldn't put it on the list mandatory places to visit in Pattaya. But a couple of hours and 500 baht spent visiting the park is not at all a pity.

One of the interesting and popular tourist places in Pattaya is Mini Siam. What's interesting in the park?

Mini Siam is a collection of miniatures of the world's main attractions. These are exact copies of buildings and monuments, made on a scale of 1:25 in relation to the originals. Many products have such fine detailing that it delights and inspires respect for the work of the craftsmen.

The miniatures are located in a magnificent, well-kept park. All this gives a pleasant sensation not only to the eyes, but also to the senses.

Mini Siam and its features

The park is divided into two thematic zones:

  • "Mini Siam";
  • "Mini Europe".

In the Mini Siam part there are attractions of Thailand and nearby countries - Laos, Cambodia.

Here you can see:

  • Freedom Monument in Bangkok;
  • Wat Phra Keo pagoda in Bangkok;
  • Ankor Wat complex in Cambodia;
  • Wat-Arun Pagoda or Temple of the Dawn in Bangkok;
  • Wat Mahathart pagoda in Sukhothai;
  • King Rama IX Bridge in Bangkok;
  • Wat Phra Srisunpeth pagoda;

TO "Mini Europe" the Thais carried the rest of the world. Copies are located here:

  • and much, much more.

Russia is represented by a copy of St. Basil's Cathedral, which stands on Red Square in Moscow, and the monument to the Unknown Soldier from the memorial on Mamayev Kurgan "Motherland" In Volgograd.

The park is a combination of magnificent copies of world stars among buildings and structures, and beautiful landscape design. True, some visitors who come to the park not for the first time notice that the park is aging, cracks and breaks appear.

Arriving here closer to sunset, you can enjoy a completely different vision of the park. Interesting lighting, play of shadows, an opportunity to look at the world with completely different eyes. All this is Mini Siam in the evening. In addition, in the dark you will not see the imperfections that are visible in the light.

Since the park opens from 7 am, you can arrive early. The advantage of such a visit is that there will be fewer tourists than during the day or evening, and the sun does not burn so mercilessly at this time.

History of creation

The park was created in 86 of the last century according to the plan of the Government of Thailand to help residents see the main attractions of the country and the world. The Thai people lived at that time, and even now live quite modestly and they do not have the means not only to travel around the world, but also within their own country.
However, it's not so much about the money. Thais are very attached to their home and farm and they simply have no time to travel around. Therefore, for those who came to Pattaya, this park was created.

Why go here?

Get aesthetic pleasure from contemplating natural and man-made beauty.

Take a lot of interesting and beautiful photos against the background landscape park and miniatures. You can even make an educational video as a keepsake and post it on the Internet to help future visitors.

To learn and see the world, albeit within such a modest framework. Each miniature has a description (though in English and Thai languages). So you will definitely know what is in front of you.

Determine the goals of your next travels. Surely, you will come across an exhibit that will capture your imagination so much that you will want to see it in person.

How long will it take

The visit to the park itself will take no more than 2 hours. If you "capture" After dark, it takes 3 hours to walk around the park twice at a slow pace.

How to get to the park

If you look for Mini Siam on the map, then from the city center you need to go up Sukhumvit Road north to Pattaya Hospital. Almost opposite it, on the other side of the road, there will be "Mini Siam".

Guests of the northern areas of Pattaya They can even walk. From other areas you can take a tuk-tuk for 10 baht to Sukhumvit Road and then take another tuk-tuk for 20 baht (white with a blue stripe). But remember that if you are traveling alone in a tuk-tuk, you will have to pay much more (100-200 baht, as agreed). After all, according to Thai rules, such a tuk-tuk automatically turns into a taxi.

A great option to visit the park is to order a transfer directly from the park or from a travel agency. This will include the visitor's transportation to and from the park and the entrance fee. The cost of such a trip is from 600 baht per person.

You can take a taxi, but then the cost of the trip will be even higher.

What to carry

Of course, photos and video cameras. This beauty must be captured. Comfortable shoes will also come in handy. After all, you will have to stand on your feet for at least 1.5-2 hours. It is better to take care of this so that the impression of the park is not spoiled. Be sure to bring a bottle of water and a hat. Walking under the scorching sun in thirty-degree heat will require remarkable health from you. If you doubt your abilities, then this is another reason to come here at sunset or early in the morning.

What's the cover charge

Prices in the park are moderate. A ticket for an adult visitor will cost 300 baht. For a child over 90 centimeters tall - 150 baht. Up to 90 centimeters – free.

Park opening hours

Mini Siam is open to the public from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

If you come to Pattaya, try not to forget and devote 2-3 hours of your time to visit this nice and educational place.

Agree, it’s rare to find so many attractions in one place.

Have a nice trip!

I wanted to see the miniature park in Pattaya even when I lived in Bangkok and saw photographs and rave reviews from tourists. Conveniently, Pattaya has enough local attractions that you don’t have to travel hours to get to.

  • The Mini Siam miniature park is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm.
  • Price entrance tickets 300 baht per person and it's worth it.

Mini Siam Park contains small copies of famous buildings around the world. The park is divided into 2 main zones: Thailand and Europe. In the European part you can also see famous buildings from other parts globe. Well, if we can’t afford Europe yet, and we’re not particularly eager to go there, then at least look at it in Asia.

Mini Siam

You go there and it’s impossible to gather your eyes together. I want to touch everything, look closer and everything is so beautiful...

I really wanted to climb on an elephant

In addition to miniatures, entire parks of neat miniature trees, flower beds and fountains are comfortably spread out on the territory of Mini-Siam. Even if there were no collection of worldwide copies, here you can simply sit pleasantly in a cafe or on a bench and look at nature. Now in June there is silence all around, even during the daytime.

They say that best time For sightseeing Mini Siam Pattaya is evening, when natural light gives way to backlighting, but we did not wait for darkness.

Let's get to the miniatures

Upon entering, you are greeted by the Eiffel Tower visible in the distance. Most often, when I ask myself where I want to be, if it is Europe, then definitely only in Paris, preferably in New Year with snow and near the tower.
