Samuel Olanare. Nigerian striker Aaron Olanare returned to CSKA. Moving to Europe and the Norwegian period

Nigeria and Guangzhou Fuli striker Aaron Olanare may soon join CSKA. What kind of stuff is this 20-year-old footballer made of?

The first thing that catches your eye is the primal power of Olanare. You feel, frankly, envy. Look at those knives! This is how football should be played.

Therefore, there is no need to be surprised: in the Chinese Championship, where a 20-year-old forward with a height of almost two meters plays for the Guangzhou Fuli club, everything that comes his way flies away from him as if from a wall. The Chinese are generally a small people. And here is Godzilla.

Now, if Olanare moves to CSKA (and he himself is 50/50 on this), let’s see what his strength is really worth. No matter how much you criticize the Premier League, it’s difficult to score in Russia. This was noted in a recent interview with SE Main coach"Mordovia" Yuri Semin, with whom it is difficult to disagree.

But Olanare is notable not only for his anthropometric data. How many big guys are there on the planet? Nature, judging by the video, also endowed him with good starting speed, flexibility and impact. This is another matter! This kind of player can play anywhere.

However, first you need to finalize the deal. Guangzhou Fuli does not want to sell its leader for less than 6 million euros. CSKA, which traditionally takes a balanced approach to transfers, considers this amount excessive. In the Chinese Championship, which ended in November, Olanare played 16 matches and scored 8 goals.

And his career began in the Nigerian club "Shutin Stars", one of the oldest in the country. Once upon a time, Patrick Oviet took his first steps there, who later came to court in the Samara “Wings of the Soviets”. Then Olanare moved to Norway.

When he signed a contract with Valerenga in 2012, the following words appeared on one of the Nigerian football sites: “Shutin Stars have lost a diamond.” Meanwhile, the head coach of the Norwegian team, Martin Andresen, praised the newcomer: “Olanare is a huge talent. He has amazing potential. I noticed him at one of the tournaments in Norway. The guy learns quickly. Physical and specifications This striker allows me to assume that he will be good.”

However, Olanare was unable to gain a foothold in Valerenga due to his young age and moved to Sarpsborg, a lesser-known Norwegian team, where he regularly scored. From there the route went to China.

In October, Aaron earned his first invitation to the Nigerian national team. Now he has three matches for the Super Eagles and two goals. Your partner national team, CSKA forward Musa, Olanare was 20 cm ahead in height. And in general he is completely different, except for his plasticity. Maybe he has a more thorough approach to implementing moments?

Aaron Olanare is a Nigerian footballer who plays in China. He is still very young - he turned 22 this year. Aaron Olanare plays as a centre-forward but can also play as a right or left winger if required.

Carier start

Aaron Olanare was born on July 4, 1994 in Nigeria, where he spent his entire childhood. He played for the youth team of the Nigerian club Shooting Stars, and in 2010, at the age of 16, he already received a place in the club’s starting team. He played 23 matches, scoring 15 goals, after which he moved to the Dolphins, where, however, he was unable to play. But when he turned eighteen and was able to leave his native country, the striker joined the Norwegian club Valerenga. Aaron Olanare was seen as a promising forward and the Scandinavians expected him to develop into a strong player.

Moving to Europe and the Norwegian period

Aaron Olanare is a football player who has not proven himself in the best way in the new championship. After stellar performances at home, he only managed to score one goal in two seasons. But in total he appeared on the field only 17 times. Things got a little better when he moved to Sarpsborg in 2013. He entered the field 26 times, scoring ten goals - and this result already impressed the management more. But he also impressed the scouts of the Chinese club Guangzhou Fuli, who paid one and a half million euros for him. This is how the Nigerian ended up in China.

Playing in China and loaning to CSKA

The Nigerian talent spent a season and a half with Guangzhou - during which time he managed to play 35 matches, in which he scored fifteen goals. But in February 2016, the club decided to loan the player to the Russian CSKA for six months, since he did not show the progress that was expected of him. Over the course of several months in Russia, Olanare entered the field seven times, scoring two goals. This result did not impress the Chinese bosses, and when the Nigerian returned from his loan, he was sent to the reserve team, where he currently plays.

Performances for the national team

In October 2014, Aaron Olanare made his debut for the Nigerian national team at the age of twenty. Already in his second match for the national team, he appeared in the starting lineup and scored a goal. In total, the young Nigerian has played seven matches for the national team to date, scoring two goals. But the last time he took to the field in a national team shirt was in June 2015 - and the situation will not change until Olanare starts getting match practice again. In the meantime, he is in the reserves of his club, it is unlikely that he should expect another call from the national team.

He really wanted to return, and did not hide it. He didn’t even change his status on Instagram - “Super Eagles and CSKA player.” You might say it’s a trifle, but such touches sometimes add up to a whole picture. Olanare It took less than six months to feel the special, family atmosphere of the capital’s team, which everyone at the club is so proud of - from the president to the security guard at the base. Therefore, the sports director of the red-blues did not have to persuade Aaron for long. It was more difficult to persuade the “Chinese partners”, but CSKA successfully solved this problem, thus completing the main transfer task of the winter 2017. The team needed a great, proven center forward, and they found one.

The Nigerian athlete's first visit to CSKA was controversial. On one side of the scale - a couple of goals in the championship, one in the Cup final and the first gold in my life, on the other - a serious knee injury. Aaron left Moscow with mixed feelings - pride in himself and the team was mixed in large portions with bitterness due to the injury and anxiety about his career future.

"Guangzhou Fuli" (not to be confused with "Evergrande" - the champion of China in six recent years) Even in full health, Olanara was not badly needed - otherwise he simply would not have let the forward go to Russia. In turn, CSKA reasonably decided to play on pause - to wait for the player to fully recover before taking new steps in this direction.

When Olanare recovered, another important nuance arose: the coach in the capital’s club changed. Victor Goncharenko It was unnecessary to describe Aaron’s playing and personal characteristics - they were already well known to him from working together in the first half of 2016. It was important for the new commander of the “army team” to personally verify that the football player was really, and not for show, striving to return to CSKA. Only after a personal conversation between the player and the coach did the club launch the mechanism for Olanare’s return. Therefore, the striker’s mood completely satisfied the coach.

Following the results of the first training camp of the Russian champions in Campoamor, a few observers might have doubts about the advisability of acquiring another forward. At first glance, there are already enough of them in CSKA’s roster – four, count, a couple of candidates for each of the two positions in the new scheme. That’s right, but none of them can be called an “iron” candidate for a place in the team. Chalov With Zhamaletdinov They are just settling into the first team and acquiring “meat” for jostling with grown men. Vitinho not a “battering ram” in format: technical, inventive, but not physically strong enough for this role (and not very effective, let’s be honest). A Traore... Let's not talk about sad things.

Only after a personal conversation between the player and the coach did the club launch the mechanism for Olanare’s return

In the first “shift” in Campoamor, the young Russian strikers won the competition against a potential teammate from Burkina Faso. Jafar He looked so bright in training that signing a contract seemed like a matter of time. The young man passed the “tests” perfectly, but failed the “exam”. In a sparring match with a representative of the second Swiss division, the mysterious stranger made so many turnovers of the ball that Goncharenko instantly lost the desire to continue watching, much less enroll Jafar in the team. The very next day, the coach announced that Jafar would not be at CSKA.

Zhamaletdinov and Chalov, on the contrary, took advantage of the opportunity that presented itself. One shared the title of best scorer of the training camp with Ionov(both scored two goals each), the other scored an assist and earned a penalty. As a result, Timur and Fedor went to Moscow to gain strength before the second training camp, and Jafar went home to prepare for new shows somewhere else.

Ram Aron. Why CSKA Olanare

On Wednesday evening, CSKA signed a contract with striker Olanare, and on Thursday they will show him to the public - in a test match with Dynamo in Spain.

All this time, the invisible work of the “army” selection continued. In any case, Jafar was considered a candidate for growth. To fight for the title, CSKA needed a seasoned scorer who could “drag” the team not in the vague future, but here and now. Among the candidates for strengthening the squad was the Ivorian sniper “Anji” Pain, but rather as a backup option - in case the others fail. CSKA's priority remained Olanare - a younger, physically stronger player and, accordingly, promising. In addition, he is no stranger to the team and fans. In this case, the risk of unsuccessful integration or, worse, rejection by the team of the newcomer was obviously excluded. The club’s sports department also took this circumstance into account.

We must pay tribute to CSKA: the club knows how to hire quality performers for reasonable money, wisely seizing the moment for negotiations. To be convinced of this, it is enough to remember the sale and lease Wagner And Doumbia. Both cases deserve their own chapter in the football management textbook. Regarding Olanara, CSKA also worked correctly: they waited until the player’s market value dropped by almost half (from two to 1.2 million euros), and only after that they “went” to Fuli with their offer. Without knowing it, Chinese football shareholders played into the hands of the Russian champions. The tightening of the limit on foreign players put Guangzhou in a rather awkward position. According to the new regulations, only three foreigners can be on the field at a time, one of whom must represent the Asian region. And Dragan Stojkovic seven such players, four of them are members of national teams, and that’s not counting Olanare. CSKA cleverly turned the Guangzhou problem to its advantage.

Olanare has never played with any of the four CSKA forwards before

On the one hand, Aaron returns to a well-known team, on the other hand, not quite: new scheme, new attacking partners (Olanare has not played with any of the four forwards before) - all this may complicate the Nigerian’s re-adaptation to CSKA. However, two full-fledged training camps should be enough for Viktor Goncharenko to “fit” a conditional recruit into his model. This winter they are all conditional for the army team: Vasin and Vitinho are also no strangers to the club.
