Our vessel can accommodate about 7-8 cars or 5 trucks. At the same time, if suddenly there are more people wishing to cross and they won’t all fit on the first run, we are ready to make additional flights.”

The DCV47 project was developed by the Marine Engineering Bureau.

Designed for transportation of general, bulk, container cargo on the cargo deck, wheeled and tracked vehicles using the rolling method, road unloading and loading of ships, delivery of these cargoes to an unequipped shore with the possibility of drying on sand and gravel soil and ensuring horizontal unloading of delivered cargo using a bow ramp or a ship's cargo crane.

Built in accordance with the Federal Target Program “Economic and Social Development Far East and Transbaikalia for the period until 2013.”

The importance of having similar self-propelled barges in Kamchatka (and other northern coastal regions) to supply remote settlements understood back in Soviet times. Since the 70s of the last century, more than 115 self-propelled barges of the “Vladimir Pashkin” type (“SRP”, project 698), type “SP”, type “SRP-150K-1” (project 698P), type “SPA” were built -001" (project 10250), type "SPP-001" (project 10251) and type "Nikolai Permitin" (project 16900). The average service life (average age) of ships is about 30 years.

The concept of the DCV47 project, in addition to the transportation of general cargo and wheeled equipment typical for ships of this type, provides for significantly broader functionality necessary for supplying remote settlements:

Road unloading and loading of ships, visits to shallow river mouths during high tides with the possibility of drying on sand and gravel soil during low tides.

Transportation of bulk cargo (including coal for wintering) with the possibility of unloading both by a ship crane equipped with a grab and by shore means;

Transportation of containers of international standard during offshore transshipment and long-distance voyages;

Transportation of heavy wheeled (with an axle load of up to 15 tons) and tracked vehicles weighing up to 60 tons with the possibility of loading/unloading by rolling method through the bow ramp with preparation of the shore support (without preparation with an axle load of up to 10 tons and tracked vehicles weighing up to 30 tons );

Delivery of cargo to an unequipped shore and ensuring horizontal unloading of delivered cargo using a bow ramp, a ship's cargo crane or shore-based facilities, including truck cranes that can be accessed on board the ship during low tide

They are self-propelled sea ro-ro barges with a lifting capacity of 250 tons.

Have the following characteristics:

Overall length - 42.60 m;

Length between perpendiculars - 38.40 m;

Overall width - about 8.82 m;
