The hotel is only suitable for three stays. I vacationed with a friend for 10 days. The room was above the entrance to the hotel. On the ground floor there was an annoying smell like “Red Moscow”; the rooms were damp. Linen was not changed regularly, they asked/brought it. I got tired of eating the SAME BREAKFAST in the morning, bought fruits with vegetables and cheese and ate it in the room. A kettle and a set of coffee and tea bags in the room helped out. There is no freezer in the refrigerator, but I really wanted to freeze ice for duty free drinks... But we slept until 10.00. Shops nearby include markets and small shops. But - NOT ENOUGH! There is a market, but it is far away and not profitable. Only the vegetables pleased me! There is "Jumbo" - a cheap networka multi-level store where you can buy toys and everything for the home. You can walk, but you have to go to another. We actually went for a walk once. A good orthopedic pharmacy (we bought cool shoes there for our problem feet at our age), opposite the President Cafe (if you read the Russian letters - Proebros))). But best restaurant we didn't find it in Athens! Fast, cheap, generous portions (we took one dish for two) and excellent service! Our English is not very good... so we showed photos from the Internet or showed them, as they say, “on our fingers.” They listened with interest, tried to help and fulfilled all requests! The waiters bring the bill right away, this is the case everywhere. They clear the table after finishing the meal and change the ashtrays. They will look, but will not come until you call. It turns out that it is customary for them to touch the plates only when dinner is over. Rose wine was cheaper than beer!!! So if you're hungry: Greek salad, kalamaki, kebab (we took different ones - super juicy and soft), cherry tomato salad with goat cheese, pita👌👍. After paying the bill, they bring a compliment from the establishment - a glass of cold (ice) limoncello. Tones! It’s a bit difficult to walk - mountains and hills! We went to Glyfada (“plain”) and to the center. You can walk safely.)) We only went by taxi, caught it or called it at the hotel. Payment by meter. More expensive at night! Save time and avoid getting lost with the card in your hands! It's hard to find the streets on the map, since all the names are in Greek, but on the Internet/English. After two days we got used to it. We regret that we refused to pay extra for the hotel in Glyfada when confirming the hotel. Next time we'll stay there. The beach is clean, 4 euros for a sunbed, the cafe is decent. From 13.05 to 23.05 it was cool, a friend dared to swim once. Locals say this is the second year the weather has been like this, usually at this time swimming season already in full swing! We were at Bouzouki with the participation of Sakis Rouvas! We recommend! Very bright and dynamic! We don’t know the words to the songs, but we wanted to sing with those present! Excited! I won’t write about the center of Athens; there is a lot of information on the Internet. Enjoy the city's historical sights and hold on to your bags tighter. Prisons are overcrowded with immigrant thieves (according to one emigrant taxi driver)😜…
