Imperial City Guide: Basics. Imperial City Guide: Basics How to Exit the Imperial City

Greetings, residents of Tamriel! Here is a guide to the Imperial City, torn apart by alliance wars and the forces of Molag Bal, full of dangers and enemies. Here you will find answers to all the questions that you will probably have after!

How to get to the Imperial City?

In order to walk around the Imperial City, those who want to find adventures with their armor will have to first get there somehow. Although this part of the quest will probably be the easiest. First you will need to get to Cyrodiil. You should already know how to do this, and if you don’t know, grow to the tenth (non-veteran) level, and you will receive a letter with the subject “Cyrodiil is waiting”, which will describe in detail how to get to the center of hostilities in the alliance war. The choice of campaign does not matter - home, guest, veteran or for kids - the main thing is to get to Kiro!

There you will need to talk to one of the captains of the armed forces in your alliance:

  • Aldmeri Dominion: Captain Mulamurr and Captain Seriril
  • Daggerfall Covenant: Captain Durida and Captain Veranim
  • Ebonheart Pact: Captain Alesace and Captain Rythe

They will give you the quest "get to the Imperial City". This quest will need to not only be received, but also completed in order to receive the Imperial City quest line.
Go to Lake Rumare in Cyrodiil and select one of the three gates there. leading to the Imperial City. Once you're inside, you'll be relatively safe place- at the base of your alliance in the sewers of the Imperial City. Look for the general to whom the quest-giver captain sent you. Complete the quest from Drake of Blades at your base and go on an adventure!

What to do in the Imperial City?

In the Imperial City, everyone can find something to their liking. If you want PVE, take three friends with you and head to the White Gold Tower, or hunt for Daedric trophies, which will open the way to treasuries filled with rings, pendants and other rare artifacts for the 16th veteran level. If you want PVP, make your way through the sewer tunnels to one of the six districts of the city, where the forces of Molag Bal gather, including the powerful Xivkin (who drop unique armor and weapons) and fight with your alliance opponents, who are also eager for the values of the sinister Daedra Prince .

Do you want to walk around the Imperial City alone? Drake of Blades will open up a quest line for you, a separate plot in your travels across Tamriel.

Collect Tel Var Stones, but remember that as soon as you die, your trophies will end up in the hands of your opponents from warring alliances. However, you can also hunt on your own: a gaping “banana” or “tomato” may well have several coveted stones in his backpack!
In the sewers there are scamps with stones and crafting materials. And boxes and chests scattered throughout the underground passages may contain rare books with the Xivkin style for armor and weapons. Don’t be lazy to look into each one!

Weapons and armor for veteran level 16 can be found by going through group dungeons in the White Gold Tower and the Imperial City Prison (including the Undaunted dungeons.) There are workshops scattered around the city where you can make new sets of armor and weapons. Also, for killing several of Molag Bal’s elite warriors, you can get achievements that give you never-before-seen collectibles.

How to leave the Imperial City?

Well, we've had a walk around the Imperial City. Now a new question arises: how to get out of here?

There are two ways. Through the Prison or Tower - then you will find yourself in your home capital, or through the home base of your alliance - exit straight to the base in Cyrodiil, to the same campaign through which you entered.

Navigating within the Imperial City

You will have to quickly move around the city underground - through the sanctuaries located at each base inside the Sewers in each of the six districts of the Imperial City. Well, if you want to take a walk, then any area can be reached on foot or on horseback.

Useful tips for tourists

  • Every character who has reached level 10 can enter the Imperial City. Your level is automatically scaled to all locations except dungeons in the Imperial City Prison or White Gold Tower.
  • At each base in the sewers you will find merchants selling Tel Var stones and other valuables, as well as crafting workshops.
  • Don't neglect invisibility! Remember that enemies await you around every corner; after all, the Imperial City is located in the very heart of Cyrodiil - the center of alliance wars.
  • Do not take siege weapons with you. Buildings in the Imperial City have architectural value, so the use of catapults and rams is prohibited.
  • The population of the imperial city will be loyal to you in all areas except the Prison and the Tower.

Crooked Excellent translation @alkodav!

Visit the Imperial City - the capital of the Empire and the province of Cyrodiil, one of largest cities Tamriel. To access the Imperial City you will need at least level 10, but your character will be leveled according to the rules of the specific campaign. The Imperial City is a global PvP zone that also includes the vast Imperial sewer network. Fight the forces of Molag Bal and get Tel Var stones, which you can later exchange for various items. But be careful, because members of the enemy alliance are lurking in the shadows and can attack you at the most inopportune moment in order to kill you and take the Tel Var stones from you. It is better not to venture into the Imperial City and its sewers without a close-knit group, but if you are confident in your abilities, you can try your luck and become a threat to the lost adventurer yourself.

How to get to the Imperial City

To open the Alliance War screen, press the "L" key or the "Alliance War" button. Next, travel through the home or guest campaign of your choice.

In Cyrodiil, travel to one of the two gates of your Alliance and to get to the Imperial City, talk to the captain and accept the quest. You can also receive a quest from one of your generals in the Imperial Sewers.

On the map around Lake Rumare there are three icons in the shape of an imperial dragon. These icons correspond to the gate leading to the Imperial Sewers. Use the fortress' transportation network to get as close to the lake as possible, then ride to the door and enter the sewers through one of the gates.

When you enter the Imperial City, you will find yourself in the Imperial Sewers, your alliance's home base. If you accepted the quest from one of the captains of your alliance, you can advance in the story and talk to the general in that area. If you have not completed the quest yet, it will be offered to you.

To complete the quest, speak with Drake of Blades at your home base and go on an adventure!

Districts of the Imperial City

Districts of the Imperial City are open PvP spaces containing the entrenched forces of Molag Bal, his elite army of Xivkyn and the corrupted traitor to the Empire, the Zero Legion.

Each district of the Imperial City has its own unique story, which, once completed, unlocks daily repeatable quests.

Each of the six Imperial districts has a Trophy Vault. The doors of these vaults are sealed by unknown persons magical powers. To get into these vaults, you need to collect a key from 60 shards, which you can get both in the Imperial City itself and in the dungeons of this DLC. Inside you will find a chest filled with valuables.

Be on your guard against the big bosses patrolling the streets! If you die in the Imperial City, you lose half of your accumulated Tel Vars.

Reviving in the Imperial Districts will take you to your alliance's elevated platform within the district, provided the district is captured by your alliance.

You can also find unique crafting stations safely located in the Imperial areas.

In each area you will find a trophy vault and a dangerous boss!

Imperial City Sewers

The Imperial Sewers is a huge public dungeon. There are alliance bases at three different ends of the sewer. Each base has safe exits to the surface, as well as a merchant, banker, and crafting stations. This is where you can exchange your Tel Vars for unique goods, such as Zivkyn polymorphs.

The sewers are a huge, intricate labyrinth infested with Daedra, where you can find chests, mini bosses and much more. But the main interest is the center - it is there that the portals are located, by clearing which you can summon the Simulacrum of Molag Bal. By destroying it, you can receive a Fireskin Scamp pet or a Soulstruck shell as a reward.

Stealth is yours best friend! Remember that in addition to the hordes of Daedra, there is a much greater danger here - players of the enemy alliance!

Tel Var Stones

Tel Var Stones are a currency that can only be obtained in the Imperial City and its sewers.

The tougher the enemy, the more Tel Vars you will receive. Tel Var goes to all participants in the battle. The more Tel Vars you have in your hands, the higher the multiplier for receiving this currency. This currency can be spent on new armor, safes, unique furniture, polymorphs and much more.

If you die in the Imperial City or the sewers, you will lose part of the Tel Var! If another player kills you, part of the Tel Var will go to him! Therefore, do not forget to transfer your Tel Vars to the bank from time to time, so as not to lose everything you have accumulated! A special sigil will help you with this, teleporting you to the base of your alliance.

Dungeons of the Imperial City

The Imperial City DLC provides access to two dungeons for 4 people - the White Gold Tower and the Imperial City Prison. Uncover the Mystery of Empress Regent Clivia Tharn and journey to the very top of the legendary White-Gold Tower
