A decent hotel, upon arrival we were placed in a deluxe room instead of a standard one, since we needed several separate beds, and there were no such standard rooms. I liked the room, so I later paid extra for this room and didn’t even go to the standard one. The room has an air conditioner and a refrigerator. We cleaned almost every day, leaving them a tip for a good cleaning. The hotel is family-friendly; it seems ideal for me to come to such a hotel with children. The bass are small again. The food is all some kind of lean, cafeteria food, but made from fairly high-quality products. Watermelons are ok, but the rest of the fruits are just wooden, it’s unclear why our tourists pick up mountains of these fruits and then leave them, bitten, on the table. I liked the flatbreads with cheese, delicious. There is access to the sea through a tunnel. The sea is like a sea, the beach is so-so, the entrance is with small stones. The sun loungers are battered, broken in places and covered in sand. Beach towels are provided with a cash deposit. The hotel has everything you need and understandably with inflated prices. The spa has pretty good programs and is not expensive; when purchasing a program they give you access to the sauna for the duration of your stay. After the spa, they unobtrusively offered massages and creams. You can get to the city by inexpensive bus in 15-20 minutes. I don’t recommend hotel taxis, they are very expensive. In general, you can go if you like a package holiday. But it’s much more interesting to take a hotel in the city, there is movement, a fortress, entertainment, a cool beach with an excellent view, ships.

We rested at the end of October until the hotel closed with my husband and four-year-old child. We were checked in literally within an hour. Our room was in an old building, but believe me, it’s the best thing for a holiday with children – it’s quiet. They cleaned our place regularly, provided toiletries, brought water, changed towels. Autumn in Turkey is very warm, we never even wore warm clothes. The beach is sandy and pebble. The entrance to the sea is first pebbly, there are also large stones, then sand. The hotel has a lot of entertainment for children: a club, playground, shallow pool with water slides. They showed cartoons, animators applied face painting, and held a mini-disco. I really liked the food, both hot dishes and meat dishes, there was plenty of fruit, and there were simply countless desserts. The only thing was that they didn’t serve night soup, but we found a way out and after dinner we took food with us to the room to feed the child for the night.

Initially we booked a standard room, but upon arrival it turned out that there were no rooms available and we were accommodated in a three-room family room without any additional payments. At first they cleaned every other day, but after calling the reception they started cleaning every day. I would like to highlight the administrator Natalya, who helped us resolve all issues. Almost all hotel staff speak Russian. The contingent of vacationers is mainly married couples. Despite the fact that the hotel is located on the second beach line, the beach is just a minute's walk away. The beach is sandy and pebble, with many free sun loungers. At the beach bar you can drink alcoholic and soft drinks, snack on flatbreads and fruit. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and varied. There were plenty of vegetables, fruits, several types of meat, and always fish. All restaurants are open almost 24/7, so it’s hard to stay hungry.

We had a wonderful time at the Sun Club Hotel! We flew to Turkey with my husband and five-year-old grandson. Upon arrival, we were immediately given bracelets and invited to go to the restaurant for dinner. Entering the restaurant, our eyes simply ran wide from the incredible number of dishes. Some salads and vegetables were laid out on a twenty-meter table. Any kind of meat you want, boiled, fried, stewed, there was also liver, kidneys, fish, and baked goods. In the future, the cuisine only pleased with its variety. For dinner there was always something grilled. The chefs prepare the dishes in front of visitors, so there is no doubt about the quality of the food. The waiters are courteous and always help you find a free table. During the day, you can get as much delicious ice cream as you like at the bar.

We were accommodated in room 2414, which is located in the old building. We liked the room, the furniture was good. The beds have snow-white linens. The bathroom is neat, the plumbing is in good order. To get to the beach you need to walk through the territory and then through a tunnel. The beach is sandy, with pebbles here and there. Entry into the sea is difficult at first due to rocks, but then it is normal. On site there is a children's pool with a slide and adults with a water park. In the evenings they show cartoons, then mini-disco, then animation for adults.

July 2015, With family Sun Club – family hotel , but I think that young people won’t get bored here either, Konakli is a fairly developed town. The only negative for us was the tiring road from the airport. It takes about two hours to get to Konakli. Now about the hotel. After reading the reviews, we asked to be moved into a new building. We liked the room, freshly renovated, modern furniture and appliances. The cleaning was superficial, the beds were made, towels were changed and that was it, the floor was not washed. The hotel area, although not large, is beautiful and very well maintained. There are two outdoor pools for adults, one with water slides. For children there is a club, trampolines, carousels, a playground, a swimming pool, and a mini-zoo with rabbits, ducks, and a peacock. Sun loungers were occupied on the beach at seven in the morning before breakfast. The beach itself is spacious, clean, mostly sandy. The entrance to the sea is not very convenient, there are a lot of boulders, it is dangerous to swim in high waves. It's better to move to the left, to the side, there the coast is smooth, the entrance to the sea is sandy. The beach bar set tables, served excellent snacks and a variety of cocktails. In the main restaurant the range of dishes is huge, there was always something new to try. They served fish, seafood, beef, turkey, and broth soups. Despite the large number of vacationers, there are always free tables. We visited a fish restaurant on the beach, amazing. During the day you could enjoy ice cream and fruit. They also bake delicious flatbreads, for which people line up. Next to the pool bar there is a daily animation schedule. The animators are not intrusive and cheerful. In the evenings after dinner they showed cartoons for children, my daughter was delighted. The evening show programs were interesting; every other day, artists, magicians, and singers came. We were pleased with our vacation and can recommend it to everyone.

Vacation for this money is just super! I didn’t pay much attention to the condition of the room, cleaning every day, everything was clean, the renovation was certainly not so great, but that’s not the main thing. Food for every taste, every day meat, fish, vegetables, fruits. Alcohol for every taste from morning to night. Excellent animators, they did not let you relax for a second, very fun, comfortable, like home. In short, everything is very good. The only thing I didn’t like was the beach, or rather the entrance to the sea, the terrible pebbles that can be removed after so many years, and the pitfalls. So, let's begin the story!

Our tour operator is Coral Travel, there wasn’t much choice here, because we live in Irkutsk!

Flight.

We took off in the direction Irkutsk-Antalya at 05.40, flying in a group Pegasus Fly- horror!!! My height is 1.82 - my knees were resting even with the chair in front fully raised. Is the Pegasus company really ready to mock its customers like this in pursuit of profit?! But the flight is a whole 8 hours!!! It’s not like you can fly from Moscow in 2-3 hours! In general, Pegasus is counted three times!!!
Upon arrival at Antalya airport, we spent about an hour going through customs; there were just tons of people! As the guides said, about 30 planes fly in from Moscow alone every day!

Now I’ll write about the way to the hotel! Someone writes about 2.5-3 hours! This is not true! It took about 1-30, 1-40 to get there and back by bus. Overall, I wouldn't say it's tedious! Although the guide from Coral Travel, to be honest, got tired of repeating like a parrot every 5 minutes how important it is to come to a meeting with the guide tomorrow, in the back row even someone could not restrain himself and shouted - how tired of you already, we all already understood, how important this is!)))

Check-in.

We arrived at the hotel around 12:00, where we were met at the reception by a young girl who immediately put bracelets on our hands and sent us off to lunch. After lunch, we were checked in literally in 20 minutes, that is, at about 12-40 we were already in our room. Everything is great here, well done!

After reading reviews about the rooms, I chose the deluxe room. Our room was located in building “C” on the 3rd floor, the windows overlooked the neighboring hotel. The room had 1 double bed + 1 single bed, wardrobe, safe, TV, kettle, hairdryer, etc. Overall it is quite good, everything is quite new, although shampoo and shower gel are poured into wall dispensers that do not work, you had to open the lid from the top. I also had to throw a towel on the floor in the bathroom, because in the shower there is a gap between the glass door and the floor, so the water spilled on the floor!
The air conditioner in the room is quite quiet and powerful, but at the same time it blows directly on one of the people sleeping on the bed, or two at once, considering that there are 3 people living in the room. It’s difficult to achieve a comfortable temperature; at night I set it to 28 degrees, during the day to 24! What’s interesting is that at 27 degrees it blows cold, at 28 it’s already stuffy! In general, there are some problems in thermoregulation... The safe is paid - $2 per day.

Room cleaning.

The cleaning is simply disgusting!!! There's not even anything to say here. The towels are not changed, the floors generally feel like they haven’t been washed. During the 13 days of rest, only the sheets on the bed were changed, and even then only after our request, and you should have seen the cleaning lady’s grimace when she was told about this. One time she didn’t even give us shampoo and gel, we had to run around the floor looking for it! Tea bags and coffee were not replenished in our room at all. Interestingly, even when they left a tip, the quality of cleaning did not improve! The most you can expect for a tip is a couple of blanket swans!

Hotel area.

The hotel area is large enough for Turkish hotels, there are three swimming pools, one of which is for children. Pool bar, Benjamin bar, beach bar. A very beautiful alley of palm trees. Several shops at the hotel where you can find everything you need.
My wife and I always liked to sit outside under the treetops near the Benjamin Bar - there the sun doesn’t shine during the day, the staff is nicer, and the wi-fi is a little better.
The hotel also has a mini zoo, tennis tables, and an amphitheater where animation took place in the evenings. Overall, the area is great, although from the road the hotel looks so inconspicuous and small!

The road to the beach passes through a tunnel, which is coolly illuminated at night; the walls of the tunnel are beautifully painted with a marine theme. The beach is sand and pebbles. There are a lot of sunbeds, but already from the early morning, especially smart citizens, 80-90% of the sunbeds under the awnings are occupied by towels! The picture, of course, is super - there is no one in the sea, no one on the beach, but the sunbeds are already occupied! In general, we didn’t sit under the awnings at all and mostly sunbathed in the sun!
Now let's talk about the most unpleasant thing - going into the sea! He's really terrible! You must enter very carefully, because if you are nervous you can easily twist your leg or injure yourself! By the way, I cut my leg twice and you won’t believe it, but once on an iron pipe that goes right along the bottom!!! The water is also more or less transparent only when the sea is completely calm, otherwise it is mostly cloudy! Diving and exploring underwater world there is no point, since the bottom is absolutely “dead”!

Infrastructure.

I specially put this paragraph in a separate paragraph because few people write about it! So, dear friends! If you want to stroll through markets in the evening, visit hookah bars, etc., then this hotel is not for you!!! Just imagine, it takes about 25-30 minutes to get to the Migros store in one direction only!!! It takes even longer to get to the nearest market (including the Megamall shopping center), it’s easier to immediately take bus No. 50 and go 3 stops! In short, the hotel is essentially located in the wilds!!! If next time I go to Turkey, it will most likely be to Side or Kemer!

Nutrition.

Almost everyone writes about the food that it is very good and rates it according to this item high marks! I don't entirely agree with this. It is varied, however, not all of it is tasty! For me, Turks only know how to cook 3 things well: porridge, meat and sweets!!! The salads are terrible, it’s unclear what they season them with, but I couldn’t eat them at all. Seafood essentially ends with bony fried fish of unknown origin. There are very few fruits!!! And this is during high season!!! Basically, we were constantly given only watermelons and apples. They gave melon twice and maybe 3-4 grapes!!! I have no questions about sweets, there’s plenty of everything and it’s delicious! The meat was cooked well, sometimes they served lamb, sometimes they grilled chicken wings, and the cutlets were very tasty!
Few people write about drinking in bars, maybe they are shy!) My verdict is this - you can only drink beer! Everything else is just disgusting quality, especially the wine!!! Although there is no particular point in buying it in stores, since for the money that they offer it (for example, pomegranate wine costs from 32 to 50 liras, which is approximately 550-1000 rubles) in Russia you can buy Georgian wine like Kindzmarauli, which The quality is simply cosmos compared to Turkish!
You'll probably say now that I'm just spoiled! And I’ll tell you that this is my first trip to Turkey and my second abroad (before that it was Thailand) and I’ve never been picky about food!!!

Animation.

To be honest, the animation was a little indifferent to me, since my child was still very small and stayed with his grandparents in Irkutsk. Well, as for me, the kids all seemed to be very happy, they were well fascinated by various competitions, dancing, watching cartoons, etc. Adult animation also seemed okay, there were fire shows, Turkish night, and the election of Mrs. and Mr. Sun Haven, but I’m more a fan of field trips than parties at the hotel! In general, I can’t say anything bad about the animation.

SPA-center.

Very often in reviews people mention with kind words the spa center at the hotel. I will share my sad experience. My wife and I took 3 massages each + hammam. Before the massage they offered to take a 15-minute test. The massage therapist actually gave a good massage! That's where the good stuff ends! Our first massage took not 60 minutes, but only 50!!! After that, on the second day, we informed the main woman “in white” about this) At this point, the already average quality massage turned into a terrible one, the first thing the masseurs did was poke us in the face with a table clock, saying look and count! The massage itself turned into some kind of real mockery with pressure on all the pain points. My massage therapist’s name was Bucky, I don’t remember what my wife’s name was! In general, I am extremely dissatisfied with the SPA center!!! In the same Thai they give a much better massage and in time no one will ever push you like that!!!

Excursions.

Excursions were taken from a local Turk, Jamal, through a group in VK, prices were 2 times lower than hotel guides, but in fact all the people are taken away by the same cars!) We were at sightseeing tour in Alanya - interesting. We went on a jeep safari, it was fun, but it’s better not to take children, it’s a little scary on the mountain cliffs, and the constant dousing with water starts to tire after a while!!! My wife flew paragliding over Alanya and said she really enjoyed it. We also went rafting - such a pleasure, considering that all the time you are in icy water (8-10 degrees) and you are also constantly being given water by passing boats nearby, or even by the instructor himself, who apparently has already frozen everything out of himself, including his brains !)))
Go to historical places from Alanya it’s a hassle because it’s very far away, at least 5 hours by bus one way!!!

Sun Heaven Club Membership.

I would like to highlight this point separately. Before departure, I registered as a member of the hotel club to get some “privileges”. I gave the voucher immediately upon check-in. As a result, I received a plate of fruit and a beach bag only after 2 calls to the reception 3 days after the start of the holiday! I wanted to take a special picture of how this bag was brought to my room - apparently they threw it with all their might, because it was lying on the floor almost under the bed. The fruit plate seemed normal, there were even two bananas and peaches!)
An interesting incident happened to us when my wife and I entered the elevator in the evening, and there were guys riding there delivering bags and plates of fruit. So, these guys, while they were carrying plates of fruit, pulled out peaches from there and chewed them sarcastically!)))
Dinner at the restaurant was changed for us to simply decorate the tables with some nettle petals and some flowers!)))
In general, being a member of the Sun Heaven club is not so great!)))

Well, that's all my review. The verdict is this: the hotel is not bad and is more suitable for families with small children. I won’t go to this hotel again, even with a child, because of the terrible entry into the sea and bad developed infrastructure outside the hotel! Thanks to everyone who read to the end!)
