Review of the hotel Justiniano Club Park Conti Alanya

I will try to write a review without bias, just facts and my opinion:
It’s long, so I’m dividing it into points so that everyone reads what interests them:
I. Nutrition:
When I went to the hotel, I was afraid of hell, from queues, heat, crowds, etc..
People, it’s not scary: Line up only for food that is prepared in front of you.
Attention, if you come to a restaurant in your city and order food, do you sit and humbly wait for it to be prepared? It's the same here. The pizza is baked in front of you, and it’s clear that you have to wait if you don’t want to bite into it raw.
Queues are created by hungry vacationers who want to eat for the year ahead.
I am attaching a photo: 10-15 minutes before the opening of the dining room, they are already standing in full readiness, with strollers and screaming children, just to eat. (Sorry, I don’t share such a passion for food).
So, if you come not at the opening, but an hour after it, the queues are smaller and not at all tiring. And not for 20 minutes, as they say here.
? Food range:
I advise you not to be late for breakfast, but it’s before 10! because after 10 at brunch I personally had nothing to eat.
Because at 10 they stop making omelettes and pancakes, and take away the vegetables and yogurt. What remains is porridge, eggs and toast and croissants. ;(((I don’t eat that, alas.
Otherwise, everything is delicious, eating and getting full is not a problem. On the 14th day it seems monotonous, but it’s time to go home)
? Ice cream:
The schedule is not clear here: from 12:30 to 14:30. Children run to get it before lunch, stand for a long time in the heat (this is really sad, the line is long and goes on for a long time) and after sweets the children don’t want to have lunch. We usually finished lunch a little later than 14:00, and if you run after lunch, you might be delayed and not have time to get ice cream.
It’s better to change the schedule and give it, for example, from 16-18
Queue for ice cream in the heat! It's going slowly. Long.
? A la carte:
Turkish, Italian, Fish.
For us, the most delicious was the fish one. But all 3 are good. Please register in advance, as there may not be places available for your next desired dates.

II. Animation:
Firstly, the group of animators in the hotel is small, compared with other hotels.
The guys try very hard and give their best.
Schedule:
Approximately - from the morning 10-12 and from 15:00-17 and from 20:30 to 2:00 (in the evening children's disco, evening show and disco for adults)
All the animators are great:
I will write about those with whom I encountered and participated in entertainment:
? Fitness animation
Anyuta - fitness, just bravo! She gives it her all and after the burgers people go in droves for morning exercises, Zumba and step. Thank you, Anya, very much.
Ismail: Mr. Narcissus:) . But his step dance is very good.
There is also water polo, aqua aerobics,
? Children's animation:
Zee-zee, Cartoon - the girls are great. These are animators for children from 8-12 years old. There is also animation for kids, but my children are older.
- The cartoon is a little unsmiling, in my opinion, like mothers, but my children loved her very much, and this is the most important thing! She is very athletic, with a lot of energy, which kids love. And it’s also enough for adults, for Zumba and dancing. Amazing! Well done, thanks.
- Zi-zi is sweet, kind, sympathetic. I endured a million questions from our children, endless patience and kindness. Hugs, left warm memories.
? Darts:
Easy - Sociable, charismatic, attentive. People are drawn to him for darts... Well done. Thanks Izzy for everything.
? Evening shows:
I can’t say I’m delighted, but it’s quite good.
I can divide the show into several types:
1) Amateur animation:
Miss Hotel and Mrs Hotel are still ok.
Jokes competitions - interesting and not annoying
An evening with performances by other people's children all evening, here, excuse me, there is a mistake: the question is whether everyone is interested in looking at clumsily told children's poems, dances and songs of other people's little children. Personally, I can only tolerate talent from my children on vacation.
Fakir show, a little long. But Ismail’s beauty smooths out this effect)
2) Evening shows with invited guests. - Everything is fine here, no mistakes. Especially laser and fire show.

III. Massage:
I liked it. NOOO Vladimir (a tall, balding blond from Rostov-on-Don) is an extremely unpleasant, boorish type. And I’m not the only one who has this opinion about him. Many with whom I spoke considered him an arrogant, ill-mannered boor.
That's just wow. Almost all of the rest of the staff at the spa are attentive and polite

IV. Internet:
This is an epic fail. The lobby can't cope, the internet is very slow and dead, even if you stand under the router. If some child nearby managed to download a cartoon and is watching it online, I want to kill him, because he obviously ate all the int, and I can’t even read the mail.
On the 2nd day I paid for paid fishing ($2/day), but even the paid one doesn’t catch everywhere, one day it didn’t work at all, it doesn’t catch in some places near the bass.
In general, everyone who wants to at least look at the photo on Instagram - forget it! Even WhatsApp often doesn’t load messages! This is my first time encountering such poor internet quality! We are in the 21st century and most people are Internet addicts. The administration needs to pay close attention to this.
There is almost no air conditioning in the Lobby and elevators, it’s also terrible in this heat ((((in the lobby there are 2 fans and a crowd of people wanting to use free Wi-Fi.

V. Sea:
Well, the sea is like a sea, clean, pleasant, excellent.
? The pier is excellent, children have a blast jumping and diving.
There are only a few sun loungers on the pier; most are occupied by collective farmers (sorry) who threw their towels and went to sunbathe at the pool or the beach. Sunbeds are wasted, and it's just "dogs in the manger".
? Beach: pebbles, I don’t like them, it’s too painful for me. There are a lot of sunbeds, you can definitely always find a free one on the beach. The beach is long, large and wide.
And Yes, there are people (I assume that they are the same ones who create a crowd before the opening of the dining room) who run BEFORE breakfast, in the morning, and tie (take) towels, caps and rags on the sunbeds, at the same time on the pools, pier and beach and then don’t come and hang out in one place all day. For me, this is a completely ill-mannered collective farm style of behavior, but I regard it as a “necessary evil.”

VI. Cleaning:
Cleaning - every other day
Towels are changed once every 2-3 days.
One day, the maid picked up the face towels from the floor (!), which we had left on the floor so that they could be replaced, and hung them back 8-0.
Calling and asking the reception to change the towels solves the problem

VII. Rooms:
We lived in the main building on the 2nd floor overlooking the sea.
The rooms are not new, but quite good. Everything worked for us and nothing broke. The bathroom is strangely designed. The glass screen from the water is not wide enough and the water still flies past onto the floor;(

VIII. Check-in:
We arrived in the morning, checked in upon arrival, and didn’t have to wait.

IX. Territory:
Large well maintained. I have no complaints.

Like this long review I hope someone managed to finish reading it

Paid services:

We decided to spend the May holidays outside the city, namely in Turkey;)

It didn’t take long to choose a hotel; we listened to the recommendations of the tour manager with whom we have been flying for more than 5 years.
Justiniano club park Conti 5* located in the village of Okurkalar, 1.5 hours drive from Antalya Airport and 30 minutes drive from Alanya.

The hotel area is very large and green:
1 main building, new Moonlight block building, several villas, 6 restaurants, pastry shop, bar, 1 large swimming pool, 1 children's, 1 indoor, 2 water slides, zoo, private beach, tennis courts, fitness center.

Number
We lived in the main building in standard room overlooking the main entrance and the sea.
The rooms are standard, the furniture is not new, but well maintained, the room has everything you need, safe- key for a deposit of $10.

Room cleaning was mediocre, bathroom floors were cleaned, beds were made, towels were changed once! (but we weren’t dirty, so we didn’t pay attention to it).

Territory
The territory has its own mini zoo; of course, it is not very well maintained in terms of cleanliness, but the animals are fed regularly.

Beautiful peacocks walk around the territory outside the zoo. A lot of greenery, various flowers, vines, trees with oranges.
The hotel and beach areas are constantly cleaned, so you won’t find trash or candy wrappers, BUT "It's not clean where they clean..."

Free wi-fi Available in the lobby, in rooms - for a fee. Check-in quickly, as rooms are vacated/cleaned.

Nutrition
There were no problems with nutrition, the food was delicious, there were always fresh vegetables, salads, chicken, and side dishes. If you come even at the end of breakfast/lunch/dinner, you can always choose a salad or main course. In the intervals between main meals, there are 2 bars on the territory, one of them serves hot dogs and burgers (pool bar), and there is a shop with Turkish flatbreads by the sea (from 11:00 to 16:00).
Turkish sweets- I don’t want to eat, fruits - apples, oranges.
The alcohol is local, I can’t say it’s bad, unless you get drunk until you lose consciousness, but treating yourself to a couple of cocktails after dinner is fine. Good Turkish beer Efes.
We were at the very beginning of the season, so restaurants A la carte were not yet prepared and closed.

Beach
Own, sandy with a thin strip of pebbles in front of the sea. The sun loungers and mattresses are clean, it is clear that the furniture is being looked after. A rescuer is working on the tower.

*************
Review of the hotel on Zanzibar island- review

And also about big trip to Lake Baikal -

Clearly not 5 stars.
Good day to all. Perhaps my review will seem quite picky, but I vacationed in Turkey in hotels of different star ratings, and therefore there is something to compare with. I try to describe all categories as objectively as possible, without expressing my own opinion, so that you can decide for yourself whether you need this hotel.

1. Check-in at the hotel
Check-in occurs at 14:00. Therefore, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your suitcase in a room specially designated for this. There is a locker room (small cubicle) and tables for your things. Storage of items is free. No one is guarding them, so it is better to take valuables with you.
Even up to two hours you can already use all the hotel services.
If the hotel has free rooms, you will be accommodated earlier.
At the reception desk you will be asked to fill in your information, will be given a key (one per room, if you need more, leave a $10 deposit), will put on bracelets (children and adults differ in color, children will not be given alcohol) and will be briefly told about the services, given a card for mini bar.

2. Number
We had the simplest room in the Moonlight building for two.
* Double bed with crisp, clean linen, comfortable mattress of medium hardness. Thin waffle blanket. If it's cold, there's warm stuff in the closet.
* Mini-fridge with drinks (Cola, Fanta, Sprite and water, which can be obtained with a card at the Rose bar).
* Kettle 1.7 l, 2 glass glasses.
* Set of towels (hands, body, feet)
* Hairdryer, liquid soap, shampoo and shower gel in unlimited quantities.
* TV with 4 Russian channels, there are also channels in Turkish, French, German, Ukrainian and one in Belarusian, but it had a frozen picture.
* Built-in air conditioner with wall-mounted control panel.
* Safe is paid - $1 per day and $10 deposit.
* There is no Internet in the room, only for a fee - $3 per day or $14 per week, and will be available throughout the hotel and the beach (as stated). We bought it, and it works quite slowly. With interruptions and breaks. The video does not load, the audio call on What’sApp was interrupted.
* We didn't have a balcony. But in this building there are rooms with balconies, it didn’t matter to us.
* There are no slippers or bathrobes, so if you need them, take them with you.
*No clothes dryer. Only in the shower, where only underwear can fit. There is nowhere to dry towels - everyone hangs them out of the windows.
* There is no toothpaste, toothbrush, or sewing kit either.

When we checked in, we immediately checked the cleanliness of the room: the toilet seat had sticky stains, toilet paper dirty, there was a stain on the sink, the glasses were dusty and stained. (See Photo) They quickly cleaned everything for us again, but the impression was a little spoiled, since they had not checked us in before, arguing that the room was being cleaned.
Otherwise, everything was clean, the towels were snow-white, the shower wall was free of streaks and drips, the mirrors were shiny, and there was not a speck of dust in the cabinets.
The air conditioner works well. Operating temperature from 18’ to 30’ C.

The ventilation in the bathroom does not work, the towels are difficult to dry. Every morning there was such a strong sewer smell coming from there that it didn’t let us sleep, so we showed up for breakfast on time. It could be ventilated by opening all the windows and doors wide open.

In our building, the lobby was vacuumed every day, the floors were washed, but the stairs were not cleaned; there was dirt there from the moment we arrived until the last day.

3. All inclusive
What is actually included in the price of your trip?
* Breakfast from 7 to 11, lunch from 12:30 to 14, dinner from 19 to 21 and night soup from 23:30 to 00:30
* Coffee and tea around the clock (there are machines available)
* Any drinks (alcoholic or not) in various restaurants on site until 12 at night
* Snacks (from 11 to 17 in the snack bar there are burgers, fries, sausages in dough, flatbreads with potatoes/meat/cheese and pies; desserts from 16 to 17 in the confectionery, ice cream from 12 to 14:30 also in the snack- bar). In fact, the snack bar closes much earlier. In the pastry shop you will not find anything except cookies. And it turns out that from approximately 16 to 19 hours there is nothing to eat!
* One dinner at one of the restaurants to choose from (Italian cuisine, Turkish and fish restaurant).
* Internet at the Bon-bon confectionery (free, but barely enough to send messages)
* Animation, sports activities (water polo, aerobics, dancing, yoga), hammam, gym, discos, playground, night club.
* Swimming pools, slides, playgrounds and children's activities.
* Drinking Water in unlimited quantities throughout the territory.

Pay for what?
* As I already wrote, the safe is paid ($1 per day plus a $10 deposit)
* Internet outside the bakery is also paid ($3 per day or $14 per week), but sometimes you can get free wi-fi in your room!
* Waffles at the pool bar $5
* Deposit for beach towels is $5 (but it will be returned at the end of the holiday)
* Hookah 10$ and 15$
* Gazebo (The exact cost had to be found out)
* Freshly squeezed juice 2-3$
* Children's wishlist (henna tattoos, braiding, sand paintings, glowing bracelets, etc. - every evening there are tents with different goods)
* Corn 1$
* Services in the hammam 15-25$
* Slot machines
* Billiards and table tennis
* And so on, which in principle you can do without and not spend money on it.

There is a lot of animation for children throughout the day - events on the playgrounds, in the pool, on the stage and just on the territory. Animators easily find a common language with children of different ages.
For adults - yoga, water polo, football, dancing, stage shows, aerobics. In this regard, the hotel fully confirms its 5* rating.

There is also a local photographer on site. A very cheerful guy, a professional in his field. A photo session takes only 20-30 minutes, but the pictures come out very high quality: correctly selected light, captured emotions, beautiful locations, composition. But he works in a team with sellers. So, before the photo shoot, they will tell you that this service costs only $7 for one printed photo, and other photos can be sent by email for free. In fact, it turned out that it doesn’t matter whether the photo is electronic or printed - it costs $7. Behind large quantity photographs the price per unit will not decrease. And if you start trying to find justice (after all, they told you about completely different conditions), then get ready to receive a bucket of dirt addressed to you.
We haven’t tried, but it may be possible to negotiate directly with the photographer to take pictures with your personal camera, or on your SD card for a fee, bypassing unscrupulous sellers.

The cafeteria has a 24-hour microwave for moms to warm bottles or food for their kids.

4. Service
In the rooms: towels are changed, beds are made, mirrors are washed, garbage bags are changed. They don’t vacuum, don’t wipe off dust, don’t wash the plumbing.

In restaurants: very nice staff. They will help you bring plates to the table, quickly clear them, help children and girls pour tea/coffee (the teapots are heavy), they are always friendly and responsive. They are never rushed or kicked out, even if meal time is coming to an end.

At the reception: the girls will always answer questions, many speak Russian. But! Not always competent. When you buy internet, you will be given a password and told that it is only for one device, and that others cannot be connected at all. Not just at the same time, but in general😅Just take the password and leave. Indeed, only one device works. But if you turn off wi-fi on it, you can easily connect another one.
And further. If you arrive 10-15 minutes before the end of breakfast, lunch or dinner (as we did), calmly go eat! No one will stop you or kick you out. At the reception desk, unfortunately, they will convince you that you are late.

5. Beach
We were assured that there was sand there, which is why we were disappointed upon arrival. There really is sand, but in parts, and very little. Mostly there are small pebbles on the shore, with some large stones. This does not interfere with entering the sea; it is quite possible to enter barefoot. But some tourists bought themselves special shoes.
Near the shore, the sea is a little cloudy due to fine suspended sand, so we went down from the pier. The water there is azure and deep enough for diving.
There are a lot of sun loungers. Enough for everyone at any time of the day. Every evening workers put them in their places.
The beach itself is constantly cleaned.
You can swim around the clock. Nobody will control you.
On the shore there are showers for the body and legs, and changing rooms.

6. Tour operator services:
- You will be met at the airport and taken to the hotel.
- There is always a representative of your tour operator at the hotel. You can purchase excursions from him. It is better to do this in the first days, since different excursions are held on different days. So you don't miss anything. But if you go outside the hotel, they sell the same excursions, but almost 2 times cheaper! Their points are a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel.
- Many tour operators also offer free shopping transfers. What is this? They personally take you in a Mercedes to a leather and fur store, there they begin to court you as much as possible, they are ready to make maximum discounts (feel free to discount 70-80%), as long as you buy something. And if you need it, this is a great option to buy good things for a very nice prices. If you don’t buy anything, the attitude towards you can change dramatically, not only from the sellers, but also from your representative in this store. Although the tour operator himself will tell you before your trip that this trip does not oblige you to anything. Then you will be taken to a textile store. They also sell Turkish delight by weight, it is very tasty, much better than in boxes. In the end, it doesn’t matter whether you bought something or not, you will be taken back on a shared bus, where in addition to you there will be tourists from other hotels. Goodbye Mercedes. And it all started so beautifully 😂 In fact, such stores are everywhere, and you don’t have to travel that far to get to them. There is a huge shopping mall with shops for every taste and budget. You can also bargain there.

7. Food
A few years ago, such food was available at most in a 4-star hotel, but not in a 5-star hotel. But overall, you can find something to eat.

Breakfast:
You won’t find cakes on it, but there will be puff pastries (sweet or not, depending on your luck), cereal with milk, sliced cheese and sausages, pickles, herbs, vegetables and fruits, butter and bread. Hot appetizers include boiled eggs, sausages, omelette with tomatoes, rice porridge. You can also stand in line for scrambled eggs and pancakes with syrup.

Dinner:
The same vegetables and fruits, pickles, herbs, cheese and sausage. Check the vegetables for smell; in the heat they quickly turn sour. There are already some cakes here.
Side dishes: pasta, rice, baked potatoes, sometimes French fries (but there’s a line for them), legumes (or chickpeas, or beans)
Soup: chicken and borscht
Meat: chicken with gravy, sometimes fried meat cutlets or lamb. For everything that is being prepared in this moment- queue.
Seafood: only one type of fish, a queue is also possible.

For dinner the same as for lunch, plus a variety of desserts.

Food quality:
- sausages and frankfurters, like any cutlets, taste soy.
- Everything that is cooked in a tomato causes caution, since the tomatoes quickly turn sour, and it feels as if they are then used to make omelettes, gravies and flatbreads.
- Cheeses are not for everybody, for me they were all salty.
- The pancakes are raw inside, they just don’t have time to fry.
- Any fish is quite tasty, it’s a pity that there is not enough variety. It is simply fried with a minimum of spices.
- The lamb pieces were excellent: juicy, moderately salty. The chicken can be dry, but it can be quite juicy.
- All side dishes are good and tasty. Only the pasta sticks together; it is not durum wheat that is used here.
- Pickles, sauces, yoghurts are of excellent quality.
- Vegetables include cucumbers, tomatoes, fried zucchini and fried/stewed eggplant.
- As for fruits, there are always apples and oranges. Not always: grapes, watermelon, cherries, plums, nectarines and peaches.
- Desserts in the restaurant great amount, you can choose what you like.
- There were rolls for the hotel day. The rice is sticky and completely unsalted. Boiled carrots were added for some reason, and a cucumber that was missing (maybe I came across one). I didn’t understand what kind of fish was in them.
- We chose dinner at a fish restaurant. First they brought us fish soup, then there was Dorada with baked potatoes. You can choose your own salads and desserts. The fish is fresh, tender, and melts in your mouth. We were very pleased.

Drink quality:
- There are 2 types of bottled water on the hotel premises (depending on which one is delivered), so one tastes like Shishkin Les, the second had no taste, similar to Vittel. Another advantage of this water is that it has an alkaline environment (pH 8.22), which is beneficial for the body.
- Alcohol is diluted to taste, after one glass it can go to your head, and after an hour a “morning hangover” sets in, like after a violent drinking session.
- The coffee from the machine is instant with powdered milk, but in a couple of places you can order Turkish grain, prepared in a Turk. In our subjective opinion, this drink is not tasty and contains an excessive amount of grounds.
- Hot chocolate is a mucus-like mass that breaks up into fractions when it cools.
- The tea is not bad, maybe not the highest grade, but it doesn’t have any bad aftertaste, it has a fairly rich taste and a pleasant aroma.
- A non-alcoholic cocktail consists of orange juice with syrup of different colors and flavors.
- An alcoholic cocktail is the same as a non-alcoholic one, but with the addition of cheap alcohol. In short, this is not their strong point)
- Orange juice to taste like “Favorite”

8. Conclusion
The hotel has 5 stars solely for the territory and for the animation. The quality of food and drinks, room cleaning and the absence of any food from 16 to 19 - deserves 4, if not 3 stars.

We were in neighboring hotels - slides, playgrounds, swimming pools, beaches and sun loungers are the same everywhere, so the question is: why overpay?
Even if in lower-level hotels the food is even worse (for example, there will be no fish or soy meat), you can eat in cafes, of which there are quite a few outside the hotel, where the cost is simply ridiculous.

Well, if you want to relax and be sure that you can always eat deliciously, drink delicious water or a cocktail, walk around the territory, enjoy high-quality animation, and not check every spot in the room - this hotel will not give you that, choose Deluxe.

Let me start with the fact that there is a coxsackie virus in the hotel. This is for those who are especially interested. But it's not scary if you take precautions. 1) do not swim in pools, but only in the sea. 2) Wash your hands before eating and wipe your hands and table with antiseptic wipes. 3) Wipe your hands more often after visiting public places, playgrounds, elevators. We did not get sick from this virus. Although when checking out at the reception we encountered a one-year-old baby with coxsackie. But if you come after lunch at 13-15, then there is no one there. Take as much as you want, I took the children with me for an afternoon snack, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a machine with ayran. There is an ice cream stall nearby, convenient. The ice cream was delicious most days.
