We just arrived from Jordan yesterday, I’m writing a review because I usually read reviews before booking a ticket. Overall, I liked everything about the hotel, special thanks to Dasha (she was attentive and helped with check-in), we were given a room with a sea view, although we we paid for the usual one. The hotel is probably the best in Jordan, although don’t expect anything special, you can compare it with the Egyptian five. Nevertheless, everything was cleaned, towels were changed, everything was new. The food is no frills, but everything is deliciously prepared, there is always a choice of cheeses. From fruits, we only had apples and tangerines. Water is put in the room every day and the bar is refilled for free. The staff is simply excellent, as I understand it, they are Filipinos, they remember the first time what you prefer (what kind of wine, coffee, etc.) Very smiling and unobtrusive .
The country is very dirty, there is garbage everywhere. We went to Tala Bay, we really liked it, everything is clean and beautiful there. Aqaba is all shabby and dirty (you can get there by hotel bus for free) we took a taxi (with the help of Dasha, we got back by hotel bus .The bus is exactly on schedule. In Aqaba you can buy coffee, souvenirs, silver. We agreed with a taxi driver (they are located near the Hilton) and he drove the two of us for 2 days. The first day we visited Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. The second day was the Dead Sea and hot waterfalls. I really liked everything.
Now pay attention! Don’t get into trouble like we did!!! We ordered a tour from a travel agency under the contract of Development Technologies LLC, agent Natalya Viktorovna Kulanova, January 24. Tour operator Pegasus. I clarified everything when booking. We were supposed to fly on the 19th in the evening from Sheremetyevo and return there, instead the flight was moved to Domodedovo at 6 am and the arrival there accordingly (in principle, a common thing, because it’s a charter) Then everything is interesting))) instead of the branded large board promised (Pegasus), we received Ural Airlines (in he was scared to sit down), but... I think okay, we were in a positive mood, it was still a vacation... we arrived, we got off the plane and, welcome to ISRAEL! No one even deigned to warn us! They changed not only the airline, the time and place of departure but also the country of arrival!!! We were loaded onto a bus, we drove through Israel to the border for about an hour, then passed through again passport control Israel with lifting suitcases, then crossed the border on foot with things and again through passport control, now in Jordan, having things scanned, etc. They still see all this as a new thing, so nothing is organized. In general, a complete nightmare! Half a day of our vacation was simply stolen. But these were still flowers, we were waiting to return back. Our flight back was at 10:30 (!), nevertheless, they picked us up from the hotel at 5:40 (!), at first we thought that we were probably the first to be picked up , that’s why it’s so early. But no! We got on the already full bus and off we went. First there was the border of Jordan (everything is fast there), again we crossed the border on foot with our things and then it was sooo much fun! We went along with the Jordanians who are crossing the border in order to work in Israel, the TV was working alone, the queue was wild. They shook up all our things, because... Jordan Arab country and is not friendly for Israel. Then we were loaded back onto the bus and taken to the airport, here all our things were shaken up again, and an interesting detail - if you are a family, they let you through, and if you are friends, they put you aside and let you through for registration after family! In general, the whole vacation is a waste! My advice is, if they also create such a program for you on the last day, refuse! For your money, and not small ones, and you will get a lot of inconvenience!
At the airport they told us that Israel pays 45 euros to the tour operator for each tourist (as support for tourism). I don’t know whether it’s true or not. It’s sad that people are treated this way by our tour operators, in particular Pegasus

impressions of the trip.
We were in Jordan for 7 nights, as I understand it, the arrival now goes to the military airport and it takes about 30 minutes to get to the city. We left our things in the lobby and went to a late dinner organized for those who arrived late. Cold and not tasty food, a small distribution area indicated that the choice of dishes would not be large. The country is just mastering the tourist flow, as we were told, and those “all inclusive” options that many are accustomed to here have nothing to do with it.
The meals were taken “all inclusive”, then it turned out that this comes with an additional fee (software) - this means, firstly, you will not have any alcohol included. Secondly, you are entitled to 2 drinks per person for lunch and dinner, for example 2 cans of cola or 2 juices, in the morning juices/teas are free. It must be said that a jug of water is placed on the table during meals. Breakfasts (fried eggs with fillings, boiled baked vegetables, cold cuts and cheeses, fruits can be seen more often in the morning. Porridge, yogurt, breakfast cereals, in general, breakfast was more difficult to arrange with lunches. Perhaps it’s not customary here to take a bag with lunch, or we came more often towards the middle of it, there were only Russian soups (sometimes 2 types), several types of side dishes, ready-made fish, chicken and sometimes lamb, the cook was in no hurry to come out to grill something and had to adjust it, and that’s how they do chicken. and beef on skewers. Dinners are plentiful, sometimes, as I understand it, they even make them themed. This is where your all-inclusive ends, cocktails on the beach - pay, bottle of water - pay. Our vacation became a little easier when I read that it’s not far from ours. The rooms have an ice machine; in the room you either filled a bucket or put ice in a sports bottle and took it to the beach.
Upon check-in, we received a room with 2 beds, without any questions they changed it to one large one, there was no question about the view from the room, we were treated to a patio and some mountains. They cleaned it, I won’t say it was gorgeous (the dirt on the balcony lived with us until last day) there were no bathrobes in the room. There is a minibar, the bottles are half the size of those we are used to, they change them for free once a day, water bottles were not supplied several times. There is a kettle in the room, the tap water is clean, and tea was made. I use my own cosmetics, but the tubes seem to have been updated. There are several of our channels on TV.
The area is large and green, there are many pools and there is a place to swim, minus, of course, the wild Muslims who rush into places where they can and cannot, their children squeal incessantly, although there are pools there that only adults can enter. The entrance to the sea is terrible, I don’t know what they filled there with sand, stones and it’s more like a small corral. Again, there is nowhere to swim. I was traveling beyond the Red Sea in the hope of diving; near the hotel there were several rocks at a very shallow depth, some fish, but behind the pontoon I almost ran into a moray eel.
Our guide met us on the second day, we bought a trip to Petra (in the price list the price was $190, then like if you pay today it would be $160) I don’t know what would be better, take a transfer for 60 and walk there yourself and provide yourself with food or dubious excursion. We left in the morning, looking at other hotels for vacationers, we realized that we had chosen everything good hotel. It took about 2.5 hours to get to Petra, there were a couple of stops, the first was just in the desert, the second was at a well-fed store, there were no price tags, the staff doesn’t understand well, but they sell it competently. For comparison, I asked my husband to impose an arafatka - a total of 25 dinars, for comparison in Petra itself it was already 5. Those who paid only for the transfer pay another 60 dollars admission ticket there, in my opinion, about 50 dollars, in general, the savings are doubtful. You won’t be able to play around with fools; the guide remembers the milestones and will not hesitate to ask those who have not paid to leave the excursion. Be sensible about your capabilities, it’s hot and hard, take money with you - buy and drink some water, there are toilets all along the way where you can wash and wet your hair, take a second bottle for washing along the way, this helps a lot when it gets very hot. Petra is worth seeing once you are in this country, there are a lot of dirty Bedouins hanging around there, all horse riding is paid, for those who are tired of going there is always a cart to help, but it will cost quite a bit. There can be no talk about the fact that their children should not be given any equipment to take a photo of you from a good angle, although a semblance of their police is walking around there. Coming back is much more difficult than walking, we saw only a small part of it, of course, even a week is not enough there. On the way back we were taken to the hotel Movenpik Petra..... terrible food, it was a mockery of everyone....
Next door to our hotel, Marina Plaza, there is a certain Tala Bay (like a resort area), there are shops and an alcohol market, including the prices are reasonable, we bought whiskey there, there is only one problem... As our guide said, our hotel prohibited that Outsiders entered its territory and they, in turn, made it so that we had to pay 10 dinars for passage there and back per person. There are security guards on the beach. They don’t strictly follow everyone, they passed through unnoticed the first time, we bought everything, and when we return, the security guard is fussing - he writes 25 dinars on his palm, they simply answered in Russian that they didn’t understand him and let him through. The second time we decided not to go through the beach, there were some minor problems, but by that time I felt so bad from the heat that I just muttered that I felt bad and was going to the store. There are buses from the hotel several times a day. free bus to the city of Akkaba, there is a restaurant shop there, you don’t need to sign up, but the gypsies load the whole village into these shuttles and sometimes even suitcases to the top, be prepared that you may not fit in, although there was such a thing that they served a second one. A taxi costs about 7-8 dinars. The central place is as usual at McDonald's, by the way, I have never eaten more free and cold food, although it is not shameful to get a grilled chicken and place it right there.
About Pegasus and the transfer of the flight, it’s a separate pleasure, they checked us out at 12-00, but our flight was moved to 23-15, we were homeless until 20-00 on the hotel grounds, fortunately they didn’t take the cards for towels, a separate pleasant surprise was the plane was late by 45 minutes, no one reported anything, but on the board they wrote that everything would be on time.

In general, a one-time trip, if you do not dream of Petra, then it is better not to visit this country. The heat at this time of year is unbearable, and for that kind of money you can get a better and higher quality vacation.
