Yacht "A"

The world's largest sailing ship, megayacht "A", belongs to Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko and is named after the first letter of the name of the owner and his wife Alexandra (by the way, she is in the photo with the pool). “A” cost the owner more than $300 million; it was designed by the famous designer Philippe Starck. The length of the yacht is 120 meters (almost a football and basketball field, if you put them side by side). There are 3 swimming pools on the yacht, and one of them has a glass bottom, which is also the ceiling of the disco on the deck below.

"The Maltese Falcon"

The high-speed yacht Maltese Falcon, similar to an 18th-century pirate ship, is equipped with smart equipment so that it can be operated by 1 person. When she rushes across the sea under full sail, it is a beautiful and mesmerizing sight. There are a lot of different entertainments here: guests can go water skiing, boats and scooters, and in the evening watch a movie on the deck while drinking cocktails. And all this pleasure for a measly $400 thousand a week.

"Streets of Monaco"

Monaco, who is always with me. The Streets of Monaco yacht is just a project for now, and if some rich guy builds it, it will be the craziest vessel in existence. All it takes is $1.1 billion. The megayacht contains the most famous sights of Monaco - from the famous Monte Carlo casino to the Formula 1 race track.

"Azzam"

The yacht Azzam in 2013 was the largest yacht in the world, its length is 180 meters. According to rumors, the owner of a luxury yacht is the President of the United United Arab Emirates Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. There is a helicopter and submarines on board, it is served by 500 people, and so much fuel is poured into the tanks that it is possible to make trip around the world without ever entering the port. By the way, the president himself lives generously and is famous for his broad gestures - when he was elected, he increased the salaries of all residents of the state by 100%.

"Jazz"

The beautiful yacht "Jazz" looks like a swift and graceful sea animal, and it was designed by Zaha Hadid. The avant-garde look of the vessel will definitely make all the millionaires and movie stars on classic yachts turn their heads.

"Dubai"

This yacht is not the most expensive - “only” $350 million, but it is definitely one of the most beautiful - it is decorated with mosaics, luxurious furniture and decoration, and works of art. The yacht belongs to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE. Dubai is usually moored at artificial island Logo Island in the form of a palm leaf, which also belongs to Sheikh Mohammed.

"Skyback"

“Skyback” is a baby compared to other yachts in this collection - “only” 80 meters in length. But the luxury of the cabins and halls is amazing, and there is also a cinema here, Gym, spa, and the main highlight is the pool on the deck. In winter or in cold latitudes it can be covered with a transparent dome, and discos can be organized at night.

The price of the super vessel is not disclosed, and there is no information about it in the domestic media. But a Heesen spokesman told Business Insider that yachts of this class sell for $13.2 million per meter. In this case, Galactica Super Nova should cost somewhere around $900 million.

This expensive product Alekperov can afford to travel. As Bloomberg calculated, in the last six years alone he has become $3 billion richer. During the third presidential term, things generally went well for Russians and they increased their fortunes, despite Western sanctions.

Eclipse

This is the largest of Roman Abramovich's yachts. Its length is 162.5 m, and its approximate cost is $400 million. The motor yacht has a music stage, an exhibition hall, two swimming pools, a gym with a sauna, a cinema and even a small clinic where simple operations can be performed.

IN this moment The yacht is located in Saint Barthelemy - the so-called island of millionaires - in the Caribbean. A few years ago, Abramovich bought 70 acres of land here and a bungalow overlooking the ocean. So if Great Britain, due to a conflict with Russia, decides to create problems for a businessman, the owner of the Chelsea football club has somewhere to retreat.

Dilbar

The yacht owned by oligarch Alisher Usmanov is equipped with a diesel-electric power plant, allowing the ship to move at a cruising speed of 22.5 knots (about 42 kilometers per hour). Estimated cost: $600 million.

The yacht was named after the mother of the founder of USM Holdings, which combines assets in the mining and metallurgy industries.
According to the MarineTraffic ship tracking map, the Dilbar passengers set sail from Spain on March 14, heading for the island of Sardinia.

Quantum Blue

The cost of the yacht is about $250 million. At the end of February, she traveled along the route from Gibraltar to Nice, France.

According to the specialized website SuperYacht Fan, the yacht belongs to the founder of the Magnit retail chain. On board Sergei Galitsky has a helipad, a jacuzzi, a swimming pool, a spa, a gym, a cinema and an elevator connecting all decks.

“Spending a lot of time on a yacht is too much. A week is enough for me to already miss Krasnodar,” said Galitsky.

Yacht "A"

For coal magnate Andrei Melnichenko, size seems to matter. The world's largest "sailboat" with a name from the first letter of the entrepreneur's name was built especially for him. It's longer than a football field.

Melnichenko also owns the Swiss chemical company Eurochem. But it is believed that most of his time is spent not at work, but on a boat worth from $300 to $500 million.

She can accommodate 14 guests in 7 cabins. There are 20 cabins for 42 crew members.

Recently, “A” sailed past Cyprus, and local residents came to see the legendary yacht. Before that, she visited Israel. Now I've moored to Spanish city Cartagena.

Palladium

The yacht, almost 100 meters long and worth $200 million, belongs to Mikhail Prokhorov. Last October she visited Ibiza and since then has been wintering in the Spanish port of Vilanova.

Palladium has 8 cabins and can accommodate 16 guests. Experts note its stylish futuristic design. It was created by the British bureau Michael Leach Design by Michael Leach.

Prokhorov loves water sports, so the yacht has a full range for them.

There is even a special area designed for drinking cocktails.

Last year, the oligarch's boat attracted the attention of Spanish tax authorities. The case concerned non-payment of the amount for mooring a yacht.

Ice

While a Russian senator accused of tax evasion in France cannot leave Nice until the end of his trial, his yacht is also imprisoned. Last year, media reported that Ice could be arrested at the request of the Geneva prosecutor's office.

According to government services, the boat, worth $170 million, has not left Moroccan territory for a long time. But once even Bill Gates wanted to buy the yacht, but Kerimov refused to sell it.

Madam G.U.

The steel hull of this boat is painted in a unique sky blue color. Until 2015, she was the largest yacht built in the Netherlands. According to rumors, it belongs to State Duma deputy Andrei Skoch. In any case, journalists have repeatedly spotted him on board Madam GU. But this yacht, worth $150 million, is not listed in the official declaration. Perhaps it is registered to relatives or close friends.

Madam GU moors in Genoa. Interestingly, the last time she was ridden was on February 27th. Just when the State Duma was scheduled to have a “regional week” and deputies were supposed to meet with their voters. Perhaps he invited some of the residents of the Belgorod region, which Skoch represents in the lower house, to take a ride along the Italian coast.

Ocean Victory

At the time of writing this material, a yacht worth $120 million was sailing from the Seychelles towards Canada. Which is a little strange, since its owner is the head of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, Viktor Rashnikov. He recently made it onto the US Treasury’s “Kremlin list.”

Did he really go to negotiate so that sanctions would not be imposed? After all, the Canadian port of Victoria is located right next to the border with the American state of Washington.

Another version is that Rashnikov went to recruit Canadian hockey players to join his own club, Metallurg. If only there were no accidents - a couple of years ago a tragedy occurred on board the luxurious Ocean Victory. A worker's legs were caught in an iron chain while raising an anchor in Thailand. A man who received multiple injuries a short time lost a lot of blood and fell into a coma. Doctors transported the victim to the nearest hospital in Phuket, but they could not save his life.

Number

180 meters – the length of the world's largest yacht, Azzam, which means "Resolute" in Arabic. The width of the vessel is 20.8 meters. It belongs to the President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Presidential grace

Superyacht Graceful- one of the most mysterious in the world.

It began to be built in Russia, at the state-owned enterprise Sevmash. This is the largest shipbuilding complex in our country.

After Sevmash built the original hull in 2010, it was towed to Bremen, Germany. There the boat was modified, put on the water and sent to Hamburg. German shipbuilding firm Blohm + Voss completed the equipment of the vessel in 2014.

On specialized yacht sites they write that “Graceful” is smaller in size (82 meters) than some megayachts, but “it’s not inferior to them in luxury.” It has an indoor swimming pool, which after certain operations can be converted into a dance floor; owner's apartment on two floors, two VIP cabins and three comfortable guest cabins.

One of the main advantages is a unique helipad on the upper deck, which allows you to conveniently arrive on the yacht.

In the Russian media, despite the domestic origin of Graceful, almost nothing was written about it. Some information can be found in Western publications. Deutsche Welle noted that Graceful was built at the same Hamburg shipyard as Roman Abramovich's yacht. This gave reason to the British publication Independent to assume that the oligarch could have presented the boat as a gift. After all, the Daily Mail previously wrote that Abramovich had already donated one ship.

Rumors that Putin or someone close to him owns Graceful may be true, according to British site Superyacht fan, which tracks billionaire superyacht purchases. But the authors stipulate that they found “only indirect evidence.” In addition to the above, this is that the yacht is under the command of a captain of the Russian fleet.

The source studied Graceful’s routes and found additional arguments in favor of the fact that Putin could sail on it. The ship's sailing dates coincide with the president's schedule.

Maps from the civil vessel tracking site VesselFinder show that Graceful constantly sails between Russia and Spain. On May 23, 2017, the yacht was spotted off Sochi. On the Fleetphoto website, where users post their photos of ships, there is even a photo of Graceful standing in the bay.

According to the Kremlin website, these May days Vladimir Putin spent time in Sochi. He had a meeting with members of the Security Council and a meeting on the development of the space industry. Similar coincidences in the simultaneous presence of Putin and Graceful in Krasnodar region celebrated for two years. But not only. On September 15, 2016, the president goes to Kerch, where he holds a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council. And Graceful is also heading to Crimea.

As of March 14, the yacht was in the port of Barcelona. Surrounded by three other boats in close proximity: Ona, Titan and Symphony. The first belongs to the oligarch Alisher Usmanov, the second to Roman Abramovich, and the third to the president of the Louis Vuitton group of companies, Bernard Arnault.

Arnault is the richest man in France. He can be called a friend of Russia. He visits Moscow, and a few months ago Putin even awarded him the Pushkin medal.

The owner of Graceful has signed a confidentiality agreement with Blohm + Voss. However, according to the Fleetphoto website, the owner of the vessel is a company from the Bahamas.

The Bahamas is a famous offshore zone. Thanks to a leak (Bahamas Leaks), it became known that at one time the American-Russian offshore company was led by former US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. Rosneft also had its share in it.

A company named O'Neil, which appears as the owner of the yacht Graceful, was registered in the Bahamas in November 2003. Exactly a month earlier, in October, Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing diplomatic relations with the Commonwealth Bahamas. True, O’Neil’s status is no longer active.

If a lot of indirect evidence is enough to say that Graceful belongs to the Russian president, then it has the right to be considered the most expensive in Putin’s personal fleet. Previously, the source found another “galley” with the head of state - the 46-meter Shellest, worth about 1.5 billion rubles. The Graceful yacht is valued at 5.7 billion.

Buy Sell

The owner of the Monaco football club and one of the richest people in Russia, Dmitry Rybolovlev, ordered the construction of a new 110-meter yacht at the Dutch shipyard Feadship. He put his previous yacht, the 67-meter Anna, up for sale at a price of 65 million euros.

But Putin’s longtime judo partner Arkady Rotenberg (more precisely, this partner’s partner Grigory Baevsky) purchased the yacht Rahil worth $60 million. It was originally built for British billionaire Graham de Zille.

One of the top-end yachts in the world, the $220 million Pelorus, recently lost its Russian owner. After the divorce, Roman Abramovich left it to his ex-wife Irina. She sold it, after which the boat went through several owners. Members of the Abu Dhabi royal family are currently sailing on it.

One of the domestic businessmen included in the Forbes list became the owner of the largest yacht in the world. The supership, called Dilbar, is larger in displacement than the flagship of the Black Sea Fleet, the missile cruiser Moskva.

German shipyard Lurssen has confirmed that the gross tonnage of the 156-meter superyacht Dilbar, which belongs to the oligarch, one of the three businessmen Russian list Forbes, is 15917 tons. This was reported by the specialized Western publication Yacht Harbor. For comparison, the displacement of the guards missile cruiser "Moskva" is 11,490 tons.

It turns out that Dilbar is currently the most spacious private yacht in the world. In second and third places are the superyacht Al Said (15,850 tons) owned by the Sultan of Oman and the yacht of the Emir of Abu Dhabi Azzam (13,136 tons).

The Dilbar's power plant is diesel-electric, and it allows the yacht to reach a speed of 22.5 maritime nodes, which exceeds 41 kilometers per hour. The hull of the vessel is made of steel, and the superstructure is made of aluminum. 3800 square meters - total area ship premises. The length of the ship's electrical wiring exceeds 1,100 kilometers, which is approximately equivalent to the distance from Moscow to Crimea. The yacht also has two helipads, as well as a huge swimming pool that can hold 180 cubic meters of water.

Construction of the supership lasted more than 4 years. The price of the yacht has not been disclosed, but experts estimate its value at approximately $600 million.

By the way, our wealthy compatriots own almost every fifth luxury yacht that sails the world’s oceans. According to calculations by one of the Western specialized publications, just six months ago the Russians owned 18 out of 101 superships, the names of the owners of which are public. The British newspaper The Times wrote about this in December 2015, which referred to a calculation carried out by the industry publication Boat International.

So, six months ago, citizens of our country owned 18 of the 101 superships whose owners are known. In second place in this luxury hit parade were US citizens, they owned 16 similar watercraft. In third place are the Saudis, who owned 10 superyachts. In fourth place are the Greeks (6 yachts), in fifth place are the citizens of Dubai (5 yachts).

The citizens of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi owned 4 yachts, as did the citizens of Qatar. Even in winter, Ukrainians owned 3 yachts, Indians - the same number, and Omani citizens owned two such luxury watercraft. Such superyachts are designed for long cruises over long distances to remote parts of the planet and are capable of sailing in the most difficult conditions.

The main registration flags for superyachts are Cayman Islands, Bermuda and British Virgin Islands(BVI), Paragon Advice Group partner, international lawyer Alexander Zakharov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta. Moreover, registration of a vessel in the first two jurisdictions is similar to registration in the UK itself. But if in Great Britain the registration fee for registering a yacht is very high, then in the British Isles Caribbean the cost of registering and maintaining a yacht is comparable to registering and maintaining an expensive luxury car, the expert says.

“As a rule, foreigners register their luxury watercraft with transparent structures, without hiding themselves. In such structures, the shareholder is visible. And Russian businessmen are no exception. Transparency in the ownership of such yachts by Russians is due to issues of limitations on the owner’s liability for the watercraft. This is done to make it clear “who to ask if such a yacht becomes involved in a maritime incident, for example, rams a seiner,” says Alexander Zakharov.

At the same time, opportunities for maintaining anonymity exist for Russian oligarchs, and they willingly take advantage of them. “When registering in the Caymans, BVI and Bermuda, this can be done in two ways: either by registering the shares of the company that owns the ship in a trust, or by using nominee owners,” the expert knows.

According to him, since the registration of a yacht occurs through the establishment of a corporate structure (for example, a trust) on these Caribbean Islands, this may subject Russian taxpayers to the obligation to notify the Russian tax authorities as part of the disclosure of information on controlled foreign companies. “However, such an obligation will not arise if a Russian loses his tax resident status in Russia,” the interlocutor sums up.

How many yachts does Roman Abramovich have and what is their price?

In 2010 after launching " Eclipse"topped the list of the most expensive yachts on the planet. The construction cost for Roman was almost $400 million. But the final estimate increased the price almost 3 times and amounted to 1.2 billion dollars. Technical equipment, luxury elements, as well as the yacht’s security system have given such an increase in price.

Note.
The most interesting thing is that before construction Eclipse Abramovich already owned several floating devices. Of course, their price tag was much more modest. The businessman bought the first two ships at the end of the 20th century from the oligarch Boris Berezovsky. After which, 20 months later, the oligarch developed a wild passion for these sea giants and the businessman purchased the fifty-meter vessel Sussurro for forty-nine million US dollars. The vessel was serviced by a staff of ten people, and the approximate cost of servicing the yacht per year is about five million dollars.

Appetites grew and already at the end of 2002 Roman acquired another vessel Olympia(Olympia). The length of the new yacht was slightly longer and was already 60 meters in length. The price tag was already astounding, fifty million and additional investments of $5 million to improve the new vehicle.

Owner of a yacht Pelorus The novel became worth almost 8 billion rubles in 2003. The time that has passed since the purchase of the first yachts has only intensified the passion for watercraft. Abramovich invested about three hundred million rubles in improving the yacht. Despite the fact that the yachts were purchased on the secondary market, they were very luxurious and everyone would be jealous. Without thinking twice, the Russian businessman, and today an Israeli citizen, buys an incredible floating palace. The price tag, of course, was slightly less than the previous purchase, but still impressive - just under 7 billion rubles. The length of the yacht amazed everyone, 108 meters.

Yachts Pelorus And Le Grand Blue Even then they were included in the list of the largest yachts in the world and shared 8th and 9th places.

By 2004, the oligarch was ready to order a new vessel. The first yacht made for Roman to order, and not purchased second-hand. The name of the ship was the cost of which was $ 123 US dollars. The speed of movement is about 40 knots. The vessel fell under the “royal class” category.

All the yachts were a “warm-up” for Roman Arkadyevich. The pearl of the collection was the yacht Eclipse, which in English means Eclipse. The size of the ship is amazing - the largest ship ever built on the planet.

Every Russian seeing Eclipse literally speechless. The incredibly expensive, powerful and naturally gorgeous yacht belongs to the Russian oligarch Roman Arkadyevich Abramovich. It was built in Hamburg at the Blohm and Voss shipyard.

Size is not the only advantage of the vessel, Eclipse made with the latest technology, the equipment is simply amazing:

— Several boats for absenteeism.
— Twenty scooters for entertaining friends.
— Two take-off pads for helicopters and, accordingly, helicopters included.
— Your own small boat for deep diving, designed for twelve guests.
— Own air defense system.
— Bulletproof windows in bedrooms and cabins.
— Special equipment that will create interference if you decide to take photos or videos.
