“For the convenience of citizens and guests of our city, on the night of December 31 to January 1, the Mosmetro and MCC will operate around the clock, and on Christmas night - up to 2 hours. They also decided that from 2019 to 2021 on City Day and New Year both the metro and the MCC will operate around the clock,” Sobyanin wrote on Twitter.

Last year, 510 thousand passengers chose urban transport in New Year's Eve in Moscow.

New Year in Moscow: how transport works

On the night of January 1, buses, trolleybuses, trams and blue minibuses will transport Muscovites until three o'clock in the morning. Information about this will be posted at public transport stops, in subway lobbies, on the websites of Mosgortrans, the metro and on our website.
