My review is recommended, first of all, to those who are planning to vacation in Antalya for the first time with children. He is afraid, doubts, and does not know the area well) My initial data is an average budget, a 10-year-old child, I work in a federal sanatorium, in the south, with private beach and a year-round heated swimming pool open air. ...More ▾ My review is recommended, first of all, to those who are planning to vacation in Antalya for the first time with children. Afraid, doubtful, and poorly oriented in the area)

My initial data is an average budget, a 10-year-old child, I work in a federal sanatorium, in the south, with its own beach and a year-round heated outdoor pool. Requests - reasonable price for the tour, availability of swimming pools, slides, proximity to the city, Wi-Fi throughout the entire territory, availability of infrastructure nearby (pharmacy, store, transport stop, ATM)

So, the tour operator is Coral Travel, the host is Odeon Tour. We arrived, received our luggage, and upon exiting the airport building, go to the right, to the tour operator counters. They will tell you the number of the car for the transfer (Gazelle, look at the number on the windshield!) We were not very lucky with the transfer - four of us settled in the Old City, and they were brought there first. At night. We got lost in the narrow streets, the driver was nervous) It took about half an hour to get back to the airport.

The entire hotel is a complex of 8 high-rise buildings located in a rectangle, in the center of which there are swimming pools, on the sides there are bars, bistros, and grill bars.

Check-in. The entire reception desk speaks Russian, good or passable. We arrived early in the morning. If you have a standard room, be prepared to wait at least until 11 o'clock - apparently there are fewer standards, and they are slower to check in. I saw that large groups (Anex tour) were seated immediately. Before checking in, you can go to the 24-hour Tulip bistro and have a hearty breakfast. And then, take a nap on the sofa at the reception) Or take towels and swim in the pool). showers are located to the right of the pools. Things can be left in the luggage room to the left of the reception desk. You will gain access to Wi-Fi once the room number is known (authorization required). But from the reception you can contact the tour operator by phone for free.

The hotel positions itself as friendly to people with disabilities, special needs children, and athletes. For disabled people there are reserved tables in the main restaurant. If you are not ready to see children with special needs (there are few of them, in fact, and they are well raised by their foreign parents), and disabled people (apparently, those who have suffered leg injuries - amputations) - you should choose another hotel. There are also many athletes on the territory - tall, handsome, broad-shouldered.

Numbers. The standards are small, however, as everywhere else. The beds are comfortable. In rooms with views of the pool (buildings A, B, C, D, E) it will be very hot in the summer (sun from 1 am until 5 pm), but comfortable in autumn and winter. In buildings G and H - overlooking the pool, it is good in the summer - shade for the first half of the day, but it will be humid in the winter. These same buildings are far away (but there is a 24-hour bistro downstairs) - but they are also the quietest, the animation is almost inaudible. Drying clothes - in the bathroom there is a round iron thing with a rope coming out of it. The laundry takes a day to dry. We dried it on the windowsill in the sun. In the bathroom there is soap, liquid shampoo in a dispenser, a needle and thread set. Bed linen is not always snow-white. There were stains and holes in the towels. Cleaning is daily. There is always water in the room.

Nutrition. There is enough of everything, at any time. Vegetarians, meat eaters, children, sweet tooths. With fruit, yes, a small selection - apples, pears, oranges, grapefruits, murshmula. Bars, grill bars, waffle shop, confectionery shop - to the right and left of the pools. On the right (if you stand with your back to the reception) are showers and toilets. Baking is something with a soufflé, with obvious starch, a bunch of dyes and flavors. This is a plus for those who are on a diet) Delicious baklava. Despite the large number of people, there is always room even in the main restaurant. Look for grilled meat and fish in bars (left and right). For those who get up late and return to the hotel late, there is the Tulip bistro. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. there is a grill bar (pizza, fresh vegetables, cutlets, grilled chicken, fish, fries, rice, ice cream).

Animation. Unobtrusive. You can also take a nap while listening to it) Evening entertainment from 20.30 (Turkish night, circus acts with acrobatics and dancing, soap bubble show). Children's club - until 10 pm (children's playground and babysitting services - due to my age, I didn't go)

Swimming pools. There are small ones - knee-deep - for kids, with slides. Yes, with a mini-water park (4 slides) - 120 cm deep. The rest are 140 cm. The end of May - the temperature in the pools is about 24 degrees in the morning, in the evening it feels like 28-29. The air temperature in the morning is +20, in the afternoon up to 34. Evening entertainment is a disco near building A. Later 24 hours, in building E, the Germans have karaoke....they are generally sociable, the Germans. Constantly participate in competitions)

Atmosphere. Friendly reception. Inconspicuous and fast waiters. The cleaning is high quality. After 24 hours, two young, pumped-up security guards and their boss patrol the territory. Half of the vacationers are Russian speakers. The remaining half are German-speaking, and a few Turks (we were in Ramadan, so there were almost no Turks and Arabs - they say the situation changes dramatically after June 4-5). You can communicate with your neighbors on the sun lounger using simple finger gestures (not everyone speaks or understands English). Yes, do not lie down on a sun lounger next to German speakers. Almost everyone smokes nonstop (especially young), and drink from morning to night (Russians mostly eat))) In principle, everyone is friendly) Especially at the disco. In general, the hotel resembles a small residential neighborhood - people move around the area, eat, and communicate. You won't feel lonely here, in a good way)

The beach.... Poor (I compare it with the place where I work). The awnings are low, so it is unbearably hot under them. They feed you on the beach. Showers, shuttle - everything is as needed. The sand is coarse, the shell rock is small, but it is more convenient to swim in slippers. Sea +22+23. Transparent.

ATM. Denizbank - withdraw without commission, Sberbank cards, immediately lira - go outside the hotel, along the road along which buses go, opposite building N. Menu in Russian. Press harder - the ATM slows down)

The shops. Migros - go right from the hotel exit, along the road, about 5 minutes. Hygiene products, baby food, Turkish delight, fruit, tea.

Transport. On the bus you can pay with a plastic card with a Wi-Fi icon. 2.60 lira is removed from one. Apply the chip clearly to the Wi-Fi icon in the bus terminal (show it on your fingers - van or that ticket, the driver will understand). Payment does not always go through immediately; sometimes you have to apply twice. The buses are air conditioned, and it blows mercilessly on the back platform - take scarves. Getting to Terra City and Mark Antalya by 07 bus takes approximately 30 and 40 minutes. Bus 07EX is an express bus, feel free to run on it, it goes faster)) On the way back to the hotel, when you see the pompous green and red Dolphin Hotel, which is opposite ours, go to the driver and say Grand Park Lara - there is an inconspicuous stop there, opposite building N, there is also an entrance from there) FROM Terra City - go back - go opposite, across the road, get in 07 at reverse direction. From Mark Antalya - go to the left side of the building from the main entrance, you will see a stop - 07EX goes there. To Kaleici - go along shopping street, to the right of Mark Antalya, down. Not for long) about 15 minutes. We weren’t in Dipo - far. The best choice in size in Waikiki and Cotton - in Terra City. There were 100yoli on the street - an inexpensive product, far away, the quality and price are not worth a visit there. Waikiki outlet - single items, small size range, not worth it. Buses run late - until 23.00 exactly. For information on how and where to get there, as well as bus schedules, download the moovit and maps.me apps on the playmarket

Nuances. Insurance - no deductible. This means that a visit to the doctor costs 30 euros. Pharmacies are to the right of the hotel entrance. And the Sultan Bazaar is open on Sunday, the girls speak Russian. Payment in all stores is possible by card, in shopping centers by card, dollars, euros. Take your passport with you! (for tax free at the airport). And then the dear representative of Coral Travel said not to carry passports with you, and we flew with taxes free (from 150 liras). By the way, the taxi is free on the second floor of the airport, next to the departure gates, and works at night. On the eve of departure, we didn’t find any information in the transfer folders, we had to contact a representative of Coraltravel (in general, listen to them less, all the information given by the representative turned out to be fundamentally incorrect, the impression was that the representative herself was poorly oriented, or had only recently worked)

Problems. The air conditioner broke down twice - while we went to the pool, everything was set. Rent a safe - it's convenient) Don't take a lot of things with you - still buy them in the city at a tempting price.

Hospitable Türkiye will become even closer thanks to this hotel. It can be called universal - the contingent of vacationers is very diverse: there are elderly couples, young people and, of course, families with children.

There is enough entertainment for all days of the holidays - children's animation is perfect, a swimming pool with slides and a playground have been built.

Rooms

1 of 6

The hotel is designed for more than 800 rooms. The premises are small, but, as tourists note in reviews, incredibly comfortable. There is all the necessary equipment:

  • air conditioner;
  • direct telephone;
  • safe (for an additional fee);
  • Internet;
  • TV with satellite TV;
  • mini bar

A nice feature is that the furniture and decoration are new. The rooms have two single or one double beds and a playpen. The floor is laminate or tile. The bathrooms have showers. The minibar contains only drinking water; it is replenished daily.

A lot of young people relax in the complex; from morning to evening it is full of vibrant life, loud music and animation. Therefore, it is better for families with small children to stay in the furthest buildings. Nothing will disturb the peace there.

A good daily cleaning service includes a change of towels, and clean bed linen is changed every five days.

Nutrition

The cuisine at the hotel is very varied. There are three all-inclusive restaurants, one of which offers outdoor dining. The menu has an abundance of meat, appetizers, salads, vegetables, fruits and sweets. At the same time, during a standard vacation, offers from chefs are not repeated. It is impossible to resist the culinary creations from the chef: he often pampers guests with exclusive dishes - lamb stewed with spices, grilled salmon, chicken with a special sauce on skewers.

The buffet is also rich for kids. There is always boiled dietary meat, fresh yoghurt, porridge in the morning, and pureed soup for lunch. The restaurant is equipped with comfortable chairs and tables for feeding children, and bright disposable napkins and aprons are provided.

The small restaurant is open 24 hours a day. The a la carte establishment delights with masterpieces of Italian and Chinese cuisine, serving fish and grilled dishes. There is a children's menu, and young guests under 12 years old are treated free of charge.

1 of 4

The area is full of points where you can refresh yourself between meals. The lobby serves afternoon tea with coffee and cake, the bistro serves French fries, hamburgers, toast, salads, and national flatbreads with meat and cottage cheese filling are baked nearby.

Staff

Impeccable service at the level of the stated stars. To please the client at all costs is the concept of the complex. It employs smiling and responsive staff; the employees treat children with warmth, however, like everywhere else in Turkey, they treat them with sweets and give symbolic gifts. Not many people can boast of knowing the Russian language, but the language barrier does not become a problem. The guest relations service must have managers who speak excellent Russian. They will help resolve all issues.

Entertainment and animation

Holidays in 2020 will be remembered for a long time thanks to the extensive entertainment program. It has an excellent group of animators: from early morning the guys entertain guests with water aerobics, yoga, belly dancing lessons, games and competitions. You can go to the gym or SPA center. Fans are invited to a beer at the sports bar.

Excellently organized children's leisure. There are a lot of places to play. Children have at their disposal a modern playground with swings, carousels, slides and trampolines, and a sports area. A mini-club is open at any time of the day; children's animators play with children, sculpt, and draw. One of the entertainments is a trip to a small zoo located right on the territory of the complex. Even parents will not refuse the pleasure of feeding the animals and taking cute photos and videos in their company.

The hotel has several swimming pools, a water slide and a small “paddling pool” under a canopy.

1 of 7

An interesting day ends with a rich evening program. The kids are gathered in a mini-disco, where certificates are awarded to the winners of the day's games and competitions - the children are absolutely delighted. Every evening, guests are presented with bright shows performed not only by local animators, but also by invited artists. Chinese circus, magicians, and dance groups often come.

Beach

Grand Park Lara is second coastline, but the beach is only 300 m from the buildings. You can reach it on foot through the road avenue or take a special shuttle.

The entry into the water is smooth and consists of fine sand and pebbles. After about two meters there is a sharp depth, so children are not allowed to swim without inflatable rings.

The sandy beach has blue flag, perfect cleanliness reigns here. There are always enough sun loungers and umbrellas. It is equipped with a children's slide. The snack bar offers cold drinks, delicious pancakes and pastries.

Location and surroundings

Grand Park Lara is located in one of the most expensive areas Antalya. The Lara resort has many shops, cozy restaurants and cafes, nightclubs, places for walking, and several historical attractions nearby. It is also popular among vacationers with children because of its proximity to the airport and magnificent sandy beaches.

Near the complex there are pharmacies, restaurants, markets with the most necessary things and products. There is also a shop in the hotel itself, which pleasantly surprises with its low prices.

We vacationed in this hotel with my family at the beginning of June, so I decided to leave a review while it was still fresh in my memory. We vacationed here last year at the same time and won’t come back here again, it’s better to overpay and go to a real five on the 1st coast than to this imitation. Of the vacationers, 50% are Russians, the rest are Germans, Poles, Iranians, Arabs and Turks. Mostly families with children come, and half of the Germans are pensioners. I'll write point by point.
1. placement. check-in at 14.00, check-out at 12.00, Moscow time. We were lucky twice and arrived early in the morning. Last year they promised to give us a number in an hour, then another hour, then another. In general, we were brainwashed for 3 hours until we began to very insistently demand a number, because... We have a 3-year-old child in our arms and a sleepless night is behind us. As a result, we were given a more expensive free 3-room suite without any additional payment. This year we flew in with two families and the story with accommodation repeated itself. But having been taught, we immediately began to press the fact that we had children and again received 3-room apartments. Many thanks to the Russian girl Olesya at the reception for helping with check-in - thanks to her, I can give this hotel a big plus.
2. rooms and cleaning. They come every day, make the beds, change towels, linen every 3 days. Although our second family complained that their laundry was not cleaned every day or that their linen was rarely changed. Upon request they give soft towels for the child and a shower cap. There were no dressing gowns. For comparison, in Russia, 3* and 4* hotels always had bathrobes without any requests. Both times the view from the room was of the hotel grounds and the children's playground.
3. territory. 3 adult pools and 1 children's pool. Moreover, the children’s room is under a canopy and the water in it doesn’t warm up well, it’s a pity to let the child go into such water and then look at the blue lips. There are slides. There are enough sun loungers by the pool for everyone. But the sea is a completely different matter, there are not always enough sun loungers and, most importantly, you have to walk there! and this is 5 stars? 10 minutes for an adult to walk quickly from the building to the sea. Of course, there is a car that takes people from the road to the sea, BUT they don’t work at lunchtime and they still have to walk. Sometimes you don’t even want to go to the sea, because... the road there, the search for a sun lounger and the road back takes a lot of time. This hotel is not the first on the coast, but with its own beach.
4. restaurants, food and drinks. The main large two-level, small and open-air restaurant. During the day, you can dine and grab ice cream at the open-air restaurant. In the small one you can eat and drink until 12 at night, and after lunch you can get ice cream. For children there is a diet menu (vegetables and boiled chicken), there are no normal soups, in the morning milk porridge, pancakes, spaghetti - that's all you can feed a child, the choice is not large. There were a lot of pastries and cakes, but not all of them were delicious, we only took 2-3 cakes, which were really tasty. When you see the rolls, don’t even think about coming up and standing in line behind them - in one word. The beer is disgusting, I couldn’t drink more than 1 glass. Although the Germans drink it and drink it and drink it - either they are greedy for freebies, or they like it. Strong drinks are also not very good. We saved ourselves with cocktails to suit our tastes.
5. staff and their attitude. they smile at you and greet you. If you spill, they will wipe it up, if you litter, they will sweep it up. cleanliness promptly. everything was fine until one incident. I came with my wife and child for dinner, sat my daughter at an empty table, and the waiter immediately laid out a new tablecloth for us. I brought food and sat down to feed the child, 4 German pensioners come up, two of them sit at our table opposite and start eating, two more try to explain to me that this is their table and that they occupied it. We called the waiter who changed the tablecloth, he confirmed that the table was free. The Germans called the manager of the restaurant hall (I will attach his photo to the review), he listened to the Germans and asked us to change seats. Meanwhile, the Germans brazenly ate from their plates while standing near our table. This manager and his assistants did not want to listen to us at all and said that they did not understand Russian, but stupidly sided with the German pensioners. Frightened by the impudence of the Turks and Germans and with “compliments” towards the Germans, we moved to the next table. Later, a Russian-speaking employee from Guest Relations came and began to listen to us. At that moment, interrupting us, that same manager came up with his “sixes” and began to say something to her in Turkish, brazenly interrupting us. We explained to him in “polite” Russian that interrupting is not good and that it is not good to interfere in someone else’s conversation either. As a result, the employee from Guest Relations apologized and promised to allocate a separate table for us in the main restaurant. Of course, this did not happen, and even when we reminded her of this, everything was stupidly hushed up and forgotten. By the way, that same Turkish manager last year worked as an ordinary waiter and cleared plates from tables; I remembered him back then as the most grumpy and rude waiter. This is the attitude towards Russian tourists! Please take this into account.
6. children's animation. They didn’t send the child to the mini-club or other activities; they only took them to the mini-disco. Who even comes up with dances for children? Children's animators teach children to dance - such complex movements cannot be repeated by an adult, let alone children. The result is a crowd of children chaotically waving their arms and spinning in different directions, but the animators do everything right.
7. adult animation and entertainment. Did not participate in the daytime activities. The evening program is scheduled for 2 weeks, some days are repeated. Russian acrobats came (they performed tricks without insurance), Cypriot acrobats (the same as the Russians, but worse and with insurance, they danced more), a children's magician, a show with soap bubbles. In general, there is something to see. But it’s worth noting their discos - the DJ sucks, only the adult animators themselves, stubborn vacationers or those who purposefully went to dance dance to his music (mostly Turkish), in general there are 20-30 people on the dance floor, the rest stand and yawn. Leading! He speaks Turkish, then English, then German and Russian. I hope at least the Turks understand him. I would like to tell him: at least learn English so that at least someone can understand you."
The hotel is 4*, it doesn’t deserve more. It’s boring, the food is not tasty (even the fruits are not all ripe, the watermelon is ripe every now and then, and the melon is generally like raw potatoes), there is no normal food for children, you have to walk to the beach (there is transport with breaks for lunch - is this normal? at lunchtime) everyone from the beach goes to the restaurant to eat, but there is no car), they do not treat Russians with respect. It’s better to overpay and go to any neighboring hotel on the 1st coast.
