Just 3 kilometers from Nizhny Tagil is the ski resort “Aist” or Mount Dolgaya. The resort is a large sports complex, where there is its own ski school, shooting range and everything necessary equipment for competitions and sporting events.

The hallmark of the Aist resort is its ski jumping hills. The ski jumps on Mount Dolgaya are recognized as one of the most modern in the country, and are also included in the list of “100 best ski jumps in the world.” Thanks to its good infrastructure, the Aist ski resort regularly hosts competitions, including world ones. It is on Dolgaya Gora that the biathlon and Nordic combined championships are held, as well as the stages of the Ski Jumping World Cup.

The lift service is paid for each lift separately or by the hour:

The complex has 4 ski slopes:

Cross-country ski trails are located behind the hotel complex, next to the ski stadium. There is a sprint track, upper and lower tracks of 2.5 km, 3.75 km each, a roller ski track of 2.5 km, a sawdust circle of 2.5 km, a sawdust circle for cross-country, the Tagil Snowflake track of 5 km and illuminated track for evening skiing. “Mount Dolgaya” is a ski resort located on the eastern slopes of the mountain of the same name near the city of Nizhny Tagil. Ski season alpine skiing and snowboarding starts in mid-November and ends in mid-April. There are 3 trails of green and blue difficulty levels on the slopes total length 2165 m. The maximum height difference is 115 m. There is a training descent with a height difference of 20 m. There is an instructor service and a children's room ski school. The Gora Dolgaya resort has a rope tow. The trails are groomed with snow groomers and there is an artificial snowmaking system. If there is a lot of snow, there are opportunities for freeride, you can use the services of a guide. The slopes are well lit, evening skiing until 22-00. At the bottom station of the lift there are warm changing rooms, a cafe, and a rental point for downhill and cross-country skis, snowboards, and cheesecakes. How to get there

Nearest Big City- Yekaterinburg city. From there you can get to Nizhny Tagil by bus. Travel time is 2.5 hours, ticket price is 380 rubles. The train from Yekaterinburg to Nizhny Tagil takes 3 hours, the ticket costs 162 rubles. The Lastochka train will take you there in 2 hours, the ticket price is 270 rubles. From the Nizhny Tagil bus station you can get to the Gora Dolgaya resort by shuttle bus No. 3 or by taxi.

Springboard complex on Mount Dolgaya

The springboard complex on Mount Dolgaya (Nizhny Tagil) is one of largest complexes Russia, included in the rating of “100 best ski jumps in the world”, was opened on February 16, 2013. Nizhny Tagil has more than once hosted world-class competitions at the unique ski jump complex of Mount Dolgaya. The complex of jumps with heights of 40, 60, 90 and 120 meters is the only one in the world where four jumps are built on the same plane, from which you can jump at the same time.

Mount Dolgaya is located in the Sverdlovsk region, in Nizhny Tagil. The complex is part of the Aist sports complex. Currently, Mount Dolgaya is not functioning. A comprehensive reconstruction is being carried out here. Completion of work is scheduled for December 2011.
