A very decent hotel, we liked absolutely everything. There were simply no downsides to be found. Check-in went quickly, for some reason our room was occupied, but we were given another, improved one, so we were not offended. For less money we got a cozy and spacious room with a modern interior. Good comfortable lighting. In the evening, you can turn on only the bedside lamps and there will be a soft warm light in the room. Large bed, wardrobe and many drawers. The storage system is well organized. There is a TV, I caught several Russian channels. Good breakfasts, a buffet was organized in the gazebo restaurant. For breakfast there is a standard set - sausage, cheese, feta cheese (delicious with spices and herbs), cottage cheese, omelet, boiled and fried eggs, sausages, chocolate spread, jam, pancakes and cheesecakes. There are several swimming pools on site, both outdoor and indoor. The employees are mostly young guys, energetic and cope with everything well, any issues are resolved promptly. And what’s nice is that almost everyone speaks Russian. It's not far to the beach, and the bus runs on schedule.

The hotel is located in the old part of the Golden Sands resort. The staff treats visitors in a friendly, kind manner and always comes to the rescue. There are no problems with communication, since the employees speak both English and Russian. The room was spacious with a balcony, a sofa, two adjacent beds, and refrigerators. The furniture included a chair, a table, and a coffee table. The bathroom has a bath, shower, toilet and sink. I was glad that there was an electric kettle and a tea/coffee set. On the balcony there was a round table and two chairs. The restaurant is located on the ground floor. The choice of dishes is quite wide. If you take new dishes every time, you won’t get tired of the food. There is enough variety for a two-week stay. Alcohol in the restaurant included wine and beer. Non-alcoholic drinks include juices, Pepsi and water. You can drink stronger drinks by going down to the lobby bar or taking them with you to the restaurant, this is allowed. Tea and coffee are provided only for breakfast. There are Asian and Bulgarian restaurants nearby the hotel. Bulgarian liked the atmosphere and national cuisine. The Asian one pretended to be Asian cuisine, but did not serve traditional dishes. There was no duck, no sushi, not even Peking soup. The hotel has a free beach, sun loungers with mattresses, and umbrellas with a thatched roof. There is a bar next to the beach where you can take soft drinks and beer for free. 15 minutes walk to the beach. You can take a shuttle from the hotel. The hotel has a small gym with five exercise machines and a tennis table. Excursions should be booked immediately upon arrival. I recommend visiting Nessebar. It takes about two hours to get there, but a walk around the city is worth it. You can visit Varna by taking the regular bus. To those who managed to catch Soviet times, it will be interesting to visit the Retro Museum and remember your childhood. A good hotel for lovers of a relaxing holiday and warm sea.

For the third time this summer I went on vacation, this time we went to bask in the sun on the seashore with my granddaughter. The hotel left positive memories of itself. The interior is very beautiful, I immediately appreciated it, and everything is clean and well-maintained. I'm a big gourmet, so I'm always picky about food. I liked everything here, a very large selection of dishes, everything was hearty, fresh and tasty. My granddaughter and I gobbled up a lot of different delicacies. During the day we lazed on the beach and swam in the sea, in the evening we came to a comfortable and cozy room and relaxed. My granddaughter was delighted with the holiday, and I really liked everything myself, and this is largely thanks to this hotel. Whenever I have the opportunity to go on vacation again, I will definitely choose this hotel.

I stayed at the Riu Dolce Vita 4* hotel in August-September 2014. It is located on the famous Bulgarian resort Golden Sands - on the border with the resort of St. Constantine and Helena. Nearest Big City- Varna, where the airport is located if you fly to this resort. Varna is about 20 km from Golden Sands. There is a bus on schedule, which, by the way, stops near the Riu Dolce Vita 4* hotel.

The hotel itself is located on the edge of the resort, that is, you enter it first if you are coming from Varna. The area is fenced and there is parking for those arriving by car.

The hotel grounds are clean, they are constantly cleaned, I saw the gardener every day - he takes care of the flowers and greenery, trims them beautifully.

There are 2 swimming pools on the territory: upper and lower. The lower one is adjacent to the building itself and the Snack Bar, where you can have breakfast and even lunch if you don’t want to leave the pool area and free up your sunbed. I will say right away that there are a bunch of foreigners around the hotel pool, who, as I noticed, do not go to the sea at all: from early morning until sunset they are at the pool, and married couples too. Those who party at night still come to sleep there.

Not far from the upper pool there is Volleyball Court, fenced with a net (seen in the photo below, behind the playground): sports games are held there. Not far from the upper pool there is a children's playground where you can just come with your child and play. Older children (from 4 years old) can be left for a few hours in the care of the animators - the girls are very nice, almost all of them speak more than 5 languages.

The inside of the building looks quite stylish and elegant. There are stairs and an elevator.

Not far from the reception there are sofas and a Lobby Bar, where they brew incredibly delicious cappuccino.

The building has its own gym, event hall, and beauty salon.

We lived in double and single rooms - me and my husband and one-year-old child were in one room, and my mother was alone on the floor above. Inside there are two spacious beds, a refrigerator, a fairly large coffee table with a sofa, and a balcony. The bathroom and toilet are shared, there is a shower and a sink. As in many resorts, there are problems with the water supply during the period of active use - after the sea before lunch and before dinner: low pressure and barely warm water. The room is quite spacious and cozy.

The room is cleaned almost every day. To be sure, you should put up a sign asking for cleaning. The staff, as always, is imaginative with towels and quite good (of course, we left a tip).

The food at the hotel is simply amazing - this is one of the few trips I've had where I was completely satisfied with the food. Although I needed not only to eat tasty and healthy food myself, but also to feed my one-year-old child something. There were no problems with this - there is a diet table with boiled vegetables and cereals. There are high chairs for children both in the dining room and in the snack bar.

The menu is so varied that sometimes my husband and I were very upset that we couldn’t try duck, rabbit, and beef in one go. Mostly, of course, my husband was upset - I was focusing more and more on fruits and ice cream.

If you suddenly did not have time to have breakfast in the dining room, then the same food is available in the Snack Bar as a snack almost all the time, and from 12 o’clock they put out soups, meat and side dishes for lunch for those “seals” who do not want to leave their reserved seats by the pool.

Themed dinners are organized several times a week: Italian, Bulgarian, greek cuisine. I remember an Italian evening when I ate a lot of tiramisu.

By the way, while having lunch at open area dining room, you may suddenly catch yourself looking at this:

In addition to the usual dining room, the hotel has a traditional Bulgarian restaurant, where you need to sign up in advance. There you can taste traditional Bulgarian cuisine. Each person entering is greeted with bread and a glass of rakia - Bulgarian vodka. At that moment I was a nursing mother, so I politely refused the cordiality of the host, although I still chewed the bread.

To get to the beach, you need to leave the hotel grounds and follow the road to the sea. In general, the beaches are municipal and free - take a mat and a towel and relax, you can rent a sun lounger with an umbrella. But near our hotel there was another option: it was possible to go down to the sea through the Riviera hotel complex - small guest houses in a forested area leading to the beach. Firstly, it turned out faster, and secondly, it was very a nice place: pine trees, golden sand, cleanliness. Entrance costs about 5 leva - the ticket can be used all day. This is the forest area we had to go through (about 1 minute and there’s a beach below).

After passing the pine trees, you immediately go to the beach:

Nearby there is a small pontoon from where you can jump into the water:

On the beach there is a changing room, a shower, and small shops where you can buy various small things such as children's sand toys, sun protection and snacks.

In the days after a rough sea, the following comrades can keep you company:

The beach is clean if you don't litter yourself. They clean it every day. There are always free sun loungers, because many people come and lie on their towels.

I already mentioned that Golden Sands borders the resort of St. Constantine and Helena, so this is very close:

The Aquapolis water park is within walking distance from the hotel - we walked there, it took about 15 minutes. Very comfortably.

The hotel looks no less beautiful at night, I even liked it better when it’s all lit up:

Fountains at the entrance day and night:

In general, it starts at sunset night life. The hotel is located at the beginning of the resort, so no loud music or noise can be heard. The embankment is full of shops, there is a casino in one of the 5* hotels, and a small amusement park. But in general, I can say with confidence that the 4* hotel Riu Dolce Vita in terms of price-quality ratio is in no way inferior to other 5* hotels in the resort, and there are not very many of them. And after talking with one guest of just such a 5* hotel, I realized that our 4* is even better than 5* - she herself confirmed this, talking about cleaning, food and coming to lie in the sun and swim at our hotel.

I can confidently recommend the Riu Dolce Vita 4* hotel to vacationers for couples and families with children, even small ones: the stores have diapers, food, and toys. The hotel has entertainment for children. Married couples and young people can hang out in the evening on the embankment, although after 2 weeks, by the end, of course, it becomes boring.
