Hotel Bel Aire Patong in Patong (Thailand). Bel Aire Patong Hotel Patong (Thailand) Location and surrounding area

Bel Aire Resort Patong 3* in Phuket has won the reputation of being a “very good C grade”. The modern hotel is really worthy of attention: cozy, inexpensive, with pleasant service and decent breakfasts. When moving in, be prepared to make a deposit of several tens of dollars.

Perhaps the most important plus is the location of the complex. The resort was built in central region Patong Beach, guests have a rich resort infrastructure at their disposal. This is very important, because we do not have our own territory.

The proximity to pharmacies, grocery stores and cafes is especially appreciated by family guests who come with children. The Tender Sea is also nearby, within walking distance.

Rooms

1 of 11

The number of rooms does not boast a variety of formats: there are only two categories – Standard and Superior. The rooms are large, the wide beds are amazing in size. A baby cot is available upon request.

This is a typical city hotel in Thailand, where there are no balconies; you can get some fresh air from the common terrace.

In reviews, tourists point out one feature that can become a problem for travelers with small children or guests with light sleep. The windows face the street, where there is noisy fun until late at night open bars. The solution is to ask for rooms as high as possible, for example, on the 5th or 6th floors.

The bathroom is spacious, equipped with a simple shower, in which water pours from a watering can built into the wall directly onto the floor. However, the drainage is excellent, everything quickly goes down the drain, and the bathroom does not turn into the sea. There are no interruptions in hot water supply. The resort owners have skimped on personal hygiene products; you can't count on soap, only shower gel.

The equipment is fully equipped; your holiday in 2020 promises to be as comfortable as possible. The premises are equipped with air conditioning, TVs with a kaleidoscope of Russian channels, refrigerators, hair dryers, kettles. The free Wi-Fi signal is excellent, conversations and communication via video messengers are almost free of lag. A safe is not provided upon check-in; such a household item will be available upon special request - for a substantial deposit.

Daily cleaning is a sacred rule from which the maids do not deviate. They clean well, wash the floor, change towels, bed linen once a week. Drinking water is also available every day, three bottles per room. In this regard, there is a nuance - the bottles are glass, it is prohibited to throw them away, otherwise you will be fined.

Nutrition

In the mornings, the hotel offers a delicious and satisfying breakfast; the rest of the time you are invited to dine on the streets of the resort with its rich gastronomic map.

Sample menu for each day:

  • omelet and scrambled eggs;
  • fried rice and noodles;
  • stewed or fried potatoes with vegetables;
  • chicken;
  • sausages and bacon;
  • fresh vegetables and fruits (pineapples and watermelons);
  • toast with butter and jam;
  • breakfast cereals;
  • milk;
  • tea, coffee, instant juices

Staff

The number of stars given by the service is not very good high level, however quite worthy. You can count on a friendly attitude and a quick solution to emerging problems. At Bel Air Resort they don’t speak Russian, and English is also bad. Vacationers are helped out by translators downloaded on their phones in advance.

Entertainment and animation

Travel catalogs state that the hotel has a swimming pool. The presented photos are deceptive - they were taken from a good angle. In fact, it’s difficult to call it a pool; rather, it resembles a large 2 by 2 meter bathroom with a Jacuzzi, designed on the roof of a building. There are several sun loungers scattered around, but no umbrellas.

There is no territory; there are several private bars scattered in the courtyard, where you can while away a good evening with a glass of strong drink. Sports guests are invited to visit the fitness center, and a relaxation program awaits in the SPA. A tour desk is also open.

Beach

Before heading to the beach, stop by the reception, where they will give you beach towels, which must be returned upon arrival. From the hotel to the shore, a 10-minute leisurely walk through the streets with minimarkets and shops offering fruits, drinks, and beach equipment.

It is recommended to be located on the northern edge of Patong Beach, because the southern one is much dirtier. And in the “north” not only the coast and coastal waters are clean, but it also delights with picturesque landscapes. A definite plus for snorkelers in this place is that there are rocks nearby, around which are full of vibrant life. underwater world. You can watch colorful fish, crabs, and hedgehogs.

The islands on the beach are equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas and are available for rent. There are almost always waves here.

If you want peace and tranquility, unity with nature, you can take a tuk-tuk to Paradise beach. This cubby nearby offers real relaxation and relaxation near the sea. True, entrance to the beach is paid, the price includes a sunbed, parking for a bike, and the ability to use the shower. There is a restaurant and a rental point for snorkeling accessories. Those who wish will receive an excellent massage. The main advantage of Paradise, which attracts tourists with children, is the complete absence of waves. Additional alternatives are Karon and Kata.

Location and surroundings

Bel Aire Resort is located in one of the most attractive areas in Phuket - Patong. The road from the air harbor will not have time to tire a small child; the drive takes about an hour.

Tourists have at their fingertips everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. Pharmacies, cafes and currency exchange offices are within a minute's walk. There are even bars right in the hotel courtyard; in the evenings there is a makashina nearby with grilled fish and boiled shells. At the exit to the sea, a network of coastal cafes awaits visitors, serving traditional Thai cuisine, European dishes and seafood at affordable prices.

Across the road behind one of the buildings is a poppy seed market. 10 minutes separates you from the big one shopping center"Jungle Ceylon". It will take about the same time to get to the supermarket for local residents“Super-Chip” with goods is cheaper than in other stores. For travelers, the market will be interested in beachwear and accessories, household chemicals, food and alcohol. On the way to this store you will meet clothing market, which opens in the late afternoon.

I really like the hotel. The rooms are old, but clean, the bathroom is confusing because there is no shower (that is, the shower head just sticks out of the wall), but the room itself is quite comfortable and spacious. The staff is excellent, despite not knowing the language - all requests were understood and all needs were met. Breakfast is modest, but quite enough for a European (sausages, eggs, pancakes, coffee, drinks, any greens)

A good hotel for young people and adults who like to party, but not for children, in the evening it is very noisy because... many bars under the balcony. Previously the hotel was 4 * but now of course it is a solid 3 *. The linen is clean, soap and soap supplies are available, but the floors are only being swept. The sea can be said to be close, the water is clean. This is northern Patong. Bangla Radio is also in walking distance and Jungle Ceylon. So good place. 8 times in Phuket there is something to compare with. Budget shopping has ended in Thailand due to exchange rates. What's left is a sea of fruits and seafood.

The rooms are terribly shabby. There is exactly 0 service (I don’t know why they hire a cleaning lady, she’s of no use). They are not very eager to help you in any situations (although I was always polite and courteous with them). In general, I will never go here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

P.S. The only plus is the relatively good breakfast.

We went at the end of November 2017 with friends. Honestly, I never understood the reviews about 3k according to the criteria of 5k. So, this hotel is good (like 3k). The location is convenient, not far from the beach, of course you have to walk to Bangla Road (well, that’s what we came for, to see everything, and not drink in the rooms) Many people write about this hotel that there are many bars in the courtyard. Yes it is. Yes, you can hear the music playing and how loud they shout. So if you are planning a vacation on Luhari, like listening to tropical birds while sitting on the balcony in the evening, then this is not your option. And I wouldn’t recommend going here with kids either (although when we were there, we saw couples with children). But if you’re brave, dexterous and skillful, then the jungle is calling!))) For those who expect to be on vacation by beach and an evening program to watch (drink vodka, rum and Coca Cola), then the presence of these bars will in no way harm you, since by the time you arrive from Bangla Road, everything will already be closed. The rooms are generally ok. Clean, cozy, nothing falls off anywhere. The food (breakfast) is also ok. The menu is modest, but delicious! So, to sum up my personal results (this is our second time in Phuket), my wife, friends and I liked the hotel.

A normal three star hotel. We lived there in January 2018. Spacious rooms, large comfortable bed, refrigerator, kettle, air conditioning, TV, everything worked flawlessly. Wooden Thai furniture, a large creaky wardrobe (we called it a “shed”?. The room was cleaned daily. When you left a tip, then they gave you good towels. There was hot water all the time. There is a small pool and sun loungers on the roof. Breakfast is normal, not fancy dishes, but everything was fresh and tasty. We were full.
Of the minuses - the noise from the air conditioners, the river is stinky nearby, there was no smell, but the view is not very good (.
We weren’t constantly in the room, we walked a lot, went to the islands with overnight stays.
For those who don't like parties and leisure this place is not suitable, just like any other in Patong.
We liked everything, the Kapkun-kaa staff!

An affordable hotel with spacious rooms, close to the very center of Patong - for active, youth recreation. There are bars nearby - open until 1 am.
