We take it on a trip abroad. What to take with you to the sea

Quite often, the most unpleasant part of the journey is the long and cumbersome preparations. Or fast and stupid. I know those who carefully prepare for a trip for a week, thinking through every detail, and those who get ready on the day of departure, forgetting half of it. Do you recognize yourself?

I have been preparing for the trip for years. Every time after returning from a trip, starting with a trip to Crimea in 1998, I wrote “Lists of things for the trip based on the results of the last trip.” And the next time I set out on the road, I always used the previous list. She opened her notebook and with a pen put a tick in front of the item packed in her luggage.
Over the past 15 years, a lot of lists have accumulated. Anyway, the brown notepad is over. The lists differ from each other because the trips themselves differ: the number and set of things for a three-week trip differs from the list of things for a two- and three-day trip. Also, traveling by train, bus and car involves slightly different sets and distributions of things. What is distribution? This is packing things in different bags: luggage (what will be removed and will remain untouched during the move to your destination), bag(s) with you (what you will use on the trip).

Due to the nature of my work, I traveled quite a lot. Over time, numerous lists resulted in one standard list of things, which can be assembled in 1 hour, provided that you are not traveling with a large family (here, of course, you can’t do it in an hour) and provided that the clothes are washed and ironed in the closet, just get a shot glass. Because “working” with clothes is the most time-consuming. So, keep your clothes (and shoes!) in combat (clean!) readiness at all times if you are an avid traveler.
So, I present to you a simple and “quick” list of things to collect. Prepare your bag (suitcase), print out the list, fold your items and put a mark next to each item you put in your luggage.
P.S. Care and hygiene products can be packaged together in one bag. The same goes for medications. Try to arrange items so that those closest to their purpose are located together, so it will be convenient to find them and unpack them on the spot.

The most pressing question for anyone planning a vacation is what to take with them. After all, you need to take into account every little thing, including UV cream and a first aid kit, and also redo all your affairs so as not to worry about your beloved cat, cacti on the window and unpaid bills on vacation. So, what do you need to remember when going on vacation?

What to do before your trip - a list of important things to do before traveling

So that you don’t have to frantically call your neighbors and relatives as soon as you jump out of the train (descending the plane’s steps), remember in advance about your most important matters:

  • Settle all financial issues. This applies to paying bills, debts, loans, etc. Of course, if you have a computer and access to the network, you can, on occasion, pay bills from anywhere in the world, but it is better to do this in advance. You can also leave a statement with your housing office so that your rent can be recalculated due to your absence. Just don’t forget tickets, receipts and other evidence that you were not in the apartment.
  • Complete all your work tasks, if you don’t want to hear the voice of your superiors while lying on a sun lounger on the seashore.
  • Get your home in order(including washing clothes in a basket). So that when you return from vacation, you don’t have to clean up.
  • Check the refrigerator. It is better to give away all perishable products.
  • Make an agreement with relatives(friends or neighbors), so that one of them waters your flowers and feeds the cat. If you don’t have an agreement with anyone, you can buy a watering machine and take the cat to a hotel for animals or to stay with friends for a while.
  • Take care of protecting your apartment while you are away. The ideal option is an alarm system, but it would be nice to agree with your neighbors so that they keep an eye on your house and at the same time get your mail. Just in case, try not to talk too much about your departure (neither to friends, nor on social sites), close the windows tightly, and take the most valuable things and money for safekeeping with relatives or in a safe deposit box.
  • It is worth taking into account force majeure cases- flood, fire, etc. Therefore, leave the keys to the apartment to those neighbors you trust in this case.

Also don't forget:

  • Get vaccinated, if you are going to an exotic country.
  • Learn about safety precautions in this country. And at the same time about what can be imported and exported, and what is prohibited by law.
  • Check all electrical appliances, electricity, gas, water before leaving. You can even turn off the electricity completely if you want to play it safe.
  • Charge the phone, laptop, e-book.
  • Put money on your phone and inquire about roaming.
  • Get a manicure, pedicure, hair removal.
  • Place all documents in a bag(not under a heap of things at the bottom of the suitcase).
  • Leave your relatives with your coordinates.
  • Write down phone numbers of organizations, which you can contact in case of force majeure while on vacation.
  • Collect information about places, which you want to visit, and about places where it is better not to go.

Don’t forget to take documents and money on vacation - add everything you need to the list

Regarding documents, don't forget to make photocopies of them– There’s absolutely no point in carrying originals with you to the beach. But you can stick it on the folder with the originals (just in case) sticker with your coordinates and a promise of reward to the finder.

In addition to your passport, do not forget:

  • The ticket itself and all the papers/directories from a travel agency.
  • Cash, plastic cards.
  • Insurance.
  • Doctor's prescriptions if you require special medications.
  • Train/plane tickets.
  • Driver license if available (in case you want to rent a car).
  • If your baby is traveling with you, his birth certificate with citizenship stamp and permission from the second parent.
  • Hotel reservation.

What medications to take on vacation - a travel first aid kit for all occasions

You can't do without a first aid kit on vacation. Of course, it’s good if it’s not needed, but it’s impossible to predict everything.

What should I put in it?

  • Adsorbents(enterosgel, act/coal, smecta, etc.).
  • Analgesics and antispasmodics.
  • Remedies for fever, colds, burns and allergies.
  • Antibiotics.
  • Anti-diarrhea medications, bloating.
  • Corn and regular plasters, iodine, bandages, hydrogen peroxide.
  • Itching relievers from insect bites.
  • Anti-inflammatory drugs.
  • Anti-nausea pills and laxatives.
  • Cardiovascular drugs.
  • Enzyme products(mezim, festal, etc.).

What to take on a trip - list of hygiene items and cosmetics

As for cosmetics, each girl is determined individually - what she might need on vacation. In addition to decorative cosmetics (preferably protecting against UV rays), you should not forget:

  • Disinfectants.
  • Products for feminine hygiene.
  • Napkins, cotton pads.
  • Special foot cream, which will relieve fatigue after excursion trips.
  • Perfume/deodorant, brush paste, shampoo, etc.
  • Thermal water.

Adding tech accessories and electronics to the list of what to take on a trip

In our time, we cannot do without technology. Therefore, do not forget:

  • Phone and its charger.
  • Camera (+ charging, + clean memory cards).
  • Laptop + charger.
  • Navigator.
  • Flashlight with batteries.
  • Electronic book.
  • Adapter for sockets.

List of things to do at sea - don’t forget to take beach accessories on vacation

For a holiday on the beach we fold separately:

  • Swimsuit (preferably 2) and flip-flops.
  • Panama hat and sunglasses.
  • Sunscreens.
  • Insect repellents.
  • Beach mat or air mattress.
  • Beach bag.
  • Things that will brighten up your beach holiday(crosswords, book, knitting, player, etc.).

What extra things to take on a trip?

Well, you may additionally need:

  • Comfortable shoes for excursions.
  • Clothes for every occasion(go out into the world, climb mountains, lie in bed in the room).
  • Dictionary/phrase book.
  • Umbrella.
  • An inflatable pillow for the road.
  • A small cosmetic bag for small items(tokens, batteries, etc.).
  • A bag for souvenirs/new items.

And most importantly, don’t forget to leave all your fatigue, problems and grievances at home. Just take it on vacation positive and good mood!

But not from my own hometown Perm, and from Novosibirsk. It was decided to get there by train. And due to the fact that we were making a list of things and thinking about what to take on the train from food and what we generally needed on the road, we decided that this cheat sheet would be useful to our readers, especially those who are going to travel by train for the first time.

There are three meal options on the trip:

  1. Dining car.
  2. Buying groceries at stops.
  3. Your own food.

The dining car is, of course, the most The best way get enough, but it is not suitable for everyone. After all, this is not the most economical solution, for example, borscht cost about 200 rubles, and roast venison - 600 rubles.

Not stocking up on anything and counting on being able to buy something to eat at stops is not the best idea.

Firstly, your feeding time will depend not on when you are hungry, but on how close the next city is. Secondly, the price-quality ratio: what will be offered to you is food of very dubious quality, and getting poisoned along the way is still a pleasure, and all this for a lot of money. Thirdly, there are many such risky people, they line up in a long line, and the slowest ones may not even make it in time for departure...

Therefore, the best option is to bring your own food. Let's figure out what products are best to take with you and what you shouldn't take.

What shall we eat?

We take those products that will not spill or spoil during your trip. The following prepared foods are good for this: baked, fried or boiled chicken or veal (lean meat lasts longer), jacket potatoes (baked lasts longer than boiled), rice, pasta, meat, you can boil eggs.

Don't store food near your clothes. It is better if you put them separately from your things, in a specially designated bag.

Many people don’t bother and steam their whips the whole way. It's the owner's business. If you go once a year, then you can eat quick puree, but if you go more often or the trip is long, then you don’t need to abuse your stomach. It’s better to steam porridge in a container (buckwheat, oatmeal, any other porridge you want, convenient to take in portioned bags and not necessarily instant). Just pour boiling water over the cereal in a container or thermos, close the lid and after a couple of hours you can eat.

Before pouring boiling water, make sure that the container is suitable for this. See markings on the bottom. If the container is made of polypropylene (PP), it will not melt.

Salt lovers can pour it into a small jar, for example, from a vitamin container.

For snacks, take bread (preferably unsliced so as not to wrinkle) or pita bread (you can simply tear it off with your hands) and smoked sausage (vacuum cut) or cheese in individual packaging - you can make sandwiches from them. Bagels, buns without filling and baked pies with cabbage or jam are also suitable.

Do not put cooked foods in bags, they will “suffocate” in them and spoil faster; it is better to wrap them in foil or wrapping paper.

The most convenient option for transportation and storage is to put the cooked chilled foods in special containers, and then put them in a thermal bag or an insulated bag; the food will be stored in them, as in a refrigerator. They are very inexpensive, even within 500 rubles. find a very good and comfortable handbag. You can additionally prolong the freshness of food by placing cold accumulators in such a bag or bag, after freezing them in the freezer.

Due to the lack of entertainment, on the road you constantly want to chew. Therefore, we take more snacks: chips, crackers, bread, crackers, nuts, candied fruits, dried fruits, corn sticks, breakfast cereals, cookies (without chocolate), dried fruits, waffles. They are, of course, sold in the carriage, but at 2 times the market price. Fruits and vegetables can also be taken at first, for example, bananas, apples and cucumbers. You can also take caramels.

You can buy cold bottled water from the guide, and if the trip is short, take it with you. Tea also hits the spot, or coffee. Therefore, we take our favorite drinks in bags (or buy what is available from the conductor) and cubed sugar. Boiling water in the carriages is free.

All this should be enough for 2 - 3 days.

Those who travel to long trip, say, for 6 days, but still holds on and ignores offers from the dining car; in addition to all of the above, canned food (meatballs, tuna, stuffed peppers, pilaf, cabbage rolls) will save you, just don’t forget to take jars with a self-opening lid.

It's also good to take baby food(vegetable, fruit, meat pates) in airtight jars.

Here is a set of products that is suitable for both adults and children. Children can also take small juices with a straw.

  • tomatoes - they are likely to be crushed during transportation;
  • boiled sausage will spoil quickly;
  • chocolate and candies or glazed cookies will melt in the heat and stain everything;
  • dairy products - spoil too quickly, only if eaten immediately;
  • sweet soda - you will suffer from gas and will want to drink even more.

A question that worries drinkers is: is it possible to take alcohol on the train? I remember that before the conductors themselves sold beer to passengers. But those days have passed and now they are trying to fight drunkenness, so drinking in public places is prohibited, and coach- this is a public place. There is a fine for drinking. You can buy and drink only in the dining car and only low-alcohol drinks.

Of course, everything depends on the guides and security; for example, we came across good ones. They, noticing that our neighbors were drinking, warned them that they would drop off those who began to behave inappropriately.

What to take from things?

IN branded trains The air temperature is always comfortable, because there are air conditioners, but it just so happened that we had to go on a regular one, it was a little hot and very stuffy, I can’t imagine what kind of bathhouse is going on there in the summer.

We take clothes made of cotton so that it is comfortable to travel and sleep in: a T-shirt or tank top, shorts, and flip-flops for our feet.

From the dishes we need a mug and a spoon, if you have collected the food in plastic containers, then you will not need a plate. If you don’t yet have such convenient containers, then take plastic plates, which you simply throw away later. If you have something to cut, use a folding knife.

Of course, ceramic or glass mugs are not suitable; they can break and are very heavy. Light plastic mugs are sold, but it is better to buy thermal mugs (like ours), not a single trip can be done without them. As a last resort, you can borrow a glass with a cup holder and a teaspoon from the guides, it’s free.

Necessary personal hygiene items: comb and hair tie, cosmetics and products for applying and removing makeup, toothbrush and toothpicks or floss, paste, small mirror, razor, deodorant, tweezers, nail scissors or nail file, wet wipes, pads and tampons , soap in a soap dish or liquid, toilet paper(usually there is, but it tends to end at the most crucial moment).

It’s convenient to put all this in an opaque bag or cosmetic bag, take it and go about your business, no need to stuff everything into your pockets.

Earplugs in your ears (if you are unlucky and small children are traveling next to you) and a sleep mask will not be superfluous either.

You definitely need to pack a first aid kit for the trip, it will be just fine if you don’t need anything, but still here is a list of the main medications that I always take:

  • pain reliever (Pentalgin),
  • for heartburn (Gaviscon/Rennie/Omez),
  • for wounds (bandage, plasters, hydrogen peroxide, Syntomycin),
  • for heart pain (Validol),
  • in case of poisoning (Polysorb/activated carbon),
  • antipyretic (Aspirin, Nimesulide),
  • antiallergenic (Cetrin),
  • throat diseases (Lizobakt),
  • if you feel seasick and dizzy (Dramina),
  • for runny nose (Nazivin), etc.

Now you know yourself better, what can make you sick, what chronic diseases have you already acquired? What do you put in your first aid kit? Additions in the comments are welcome.

Important things that cannot be lost - money, cards, phone and passport, so as not to be stolen, put them in belt bag and carry it with you everywhere, even to the toilet. This handbag is an indispensable item for a traveler. For example, we have this one chest wallet, in which we put money and hang it on our neck under our T-shirt, and we sleep in it.

What's the plan?

If you are not traveling alone, or you have pleasant and talkative people as your neighbors, then you can chat the whole way and not notice how you got to the desired city. This is an excellent option, but you need to prepare in case there is no one to chat with.

We choose entertainment based on our preferences: scanword puzzles with a pen, cards, board games (for example, these magnetic super compact chess), books. It’s better to download books to your phone or tablet, it’s much more compact than carrying several paper ones. You can also download several films onto it.

You can listen to music on headphones so as not to disturb others. The carriages have a couple of sockets to recharge equipment. Usually, there is an outlet near the toilet, and there is always someone sitting on the floor there waiting for their gadget to charge.

If you don’t like such “comfort”, then I highly recommend it, which will charge your equipment. We always use this when we travel, I can’t imagine life without it.

Don't forget chargers for all your equipment!

We will continue this topic in an article about.

If you are traveling with a child, then take his favorite toy, also buy new ones, they will be a wonder for him and will be able to occupy him longer, a sketchbook, coloring books, colored pencils. If you are not ardent opponents of a tablet in children’s hands, then it will come to your aid here too; download cartoons, picture books and educational games onto it.

If the child is still very small, then do not forget baby food, diapers, diapers, and a pacifier.

Always write a list of things before your trip and check before leaving to see if you have everything.

That, in fact, is all that can be useful to you on the train. Write in the comments how you are going.

Bon Voyage!

I always write a list before a trip so that I don’t forget anything I need and then kick myself for being forgetful and improvident. Most often, the set of the most important things is the same, only the clothes change depending on the season and the purpose of the trip.

Essentials for your trip:

Documentation: international passport and its copy, a copy of the Russian passport (if you are traveling abroad), digital copy your passports (scan the documents and send them to your email), driver’s license (if you rent a car).

Medical insurance. Insurance is required to be presented at the embassy when obtaining a visa. You also need to take insurance with you on your trip.

Tickets or printouts thereof. Although at the airport they do not ask to present air tickets, but only a passport, it is better to have a printed one with you. route receipt. Read the article about how to buy cheap air tickets online.

Travel package, or a hotel reservation voucher if you are traveling independently.

Money. This can be money on a bank card or cash. If you only store money on a card, take cash with you on your trip, even preferably in small bills, to pay for travel on a bus or taxi if you get to the hotel on your own.

A reminder with the necessary telephone numbers: address and telephone number of the Russian embassy, police and ambulance telephone numbers.

If you regularly take any pills, put them in the first aid kit first; the following medications will also help:

  • for colds (I take with me a couple of packets of Theraflu and lozenges for a sore throat),
  • from indigestion (many people overeat when traveling, or in large hotels the food may be stale),
  • painkillers (No-shpa or Tempalgin),
  • scratch treatment products (e.g. iodine bottles),
  • sunscreen if you are going to sunbathe,
  • sunburn treatment,
  • adhesive plaster,
  • earplugs (noisy neighbors may live nearby or there may be a club/disco nearby)

Personal hygiene products: washcloth, Toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, razor, shaving foam, face and hand cream, wet wipes, cotton swabs, deodorant, comb, hair tie and soap (in case you need to wash something).

Camera and charger (or batteries). If the memory card is not large, then take a flash drive with you; you can go to any internet cafe and transfer photos to the flash drive and continue taking photographs.

Mobile phone and Charger. For some reason, many people remember about a phone charger at the last moment or completely forget about it.

Adapter for socket. In some countries, the plugs for the socket are different from the Russian ones, so always find out what type of socket at the hotel where you are staying. There are universal adapters that can be used in almost any country.

Guide and map. It is advisable to outline in advance what you need to visit and see.

Essential Conversational Phrases in a foreign language. Phrases may be useful to use in a restaurant, in a hotel, in case you need to contact the police or hospital.

Needle, thread and superglue in case anything breaks or comes off during the trip.

Pen to record important information.

Clothes and shoes. What you wear during your trip largely depends on where you are going and your goals. For example, if you are going to sunbathe on the seashore without leaving the hotel, then shorts, T-shirts, swimsuits, hats, flip-flops, and sunglasses will come in handy. If you have sightseeing tour and you intend to walk around the city a lot and see the sights, then shoes are important: sneakers or comfortable shoes. Even if you are going to warm countries, take warm clothes with you (socks, jacket, pants). Just in case, I take a raincoat with me, it is much lighter than an umbrella.

If you are planning to go on vacation at sea, you have already decided on the direction and place where you will spend your vacation. Or maybe you decided to give up everything and start traveling on your own. If this is your first time, then you need to know what to take with you to the sea - a list of things.

In this article we will look at several options and several lists for specific situations and people who will travel with you:

We love to travel the world. And twice a year we go somewhere. We go on vacation and travel with our children (we have two: a boy and a girl).

What to take with you to the sea - a general list of things

The main thing is don't fuss. Sit down, take a piece of paper and a pen. Imagine how you are already at sea. What are you doing there, what are you doing? Scroll through the program for a day, for a week for the entire rest period. Pull yourself together and with a clear head start making a list of things.

Write down all the things that you think will be useful and necessary for you on your trip to the sea. Add everything. When your stock of knowledge has dried up and nothing comes to mind, divide the list into sections (for example, clothing, equipment, medicines or first aid kit, documents, money, hygiene and personal care products, protective equipment, shoes, etc.).

For the fastest, we have prepared a checklist (). You can download it below. All you have to do is check the boxes next to each item if these things are collected.

Divided - you can number them for convenience if the list of things turns out to be large and inconsistent. For example, clothes – 1, so next to each item related to clothes, put – 1 and so on.

The list of things to take with you to the sea is quite large. Therefore, choose those that you cannot live without on a daily basis and that you will need in a pinch. A lot of things are also not the point.

During all our travels, we decided for ourselves and made a general list of things - what things we need to take with us to the sea:

What medications should you take with you to sea?

This is an important point and should not be forgotten. Anything can happen far from home. Even if there are hospitals in the place where you are going on vacation, still take and pack a small first aid kit (in case of a fire). What if you get hurt or have a toothache or diarrhea?

And we would also like to remind you that if you have chronic diseases, be sure to consult with your doctor before traveling.

List of medications you need to take with you on vacation:

  • For fever (cold medicines), antipyretic: Panadol, Paracetamol, Rinza and Rinzasip, Coldrex, Theraflu. Any of these drugs or whichever one you take for acute respiratory viral infections and acute respiratory infections.
  • Digital Thermometer.
  • Cough medicines (Lazolvan, Ambrohexal, Mucaltin, Stoptussin, ACC).
  • For indigestion, Tablets for diarrhea: Activated carbon, Smecta, Phthalazol, Imodium, Mezim, Levomycetin. It is not known how your stomach will react and accept local food.
  • For the nose, drops in the nose: Quix, Aqua Maris, Xilin, “For the nose” - for a runny nose. For allergies - Vibrocil, Rinofluimucil.
  • Antibiotics: Sumamed, Amoxiclav, Cefpirom and others.
  • Pain relievers (painkillers): Analgin, Aspirin, Nurofen, No-shpa, Mig 400, Ketanov.
  • First aid kit: bandage, cotton pads, cotton swabs, brilliant green or iodine, adhesive plaster, hydrogen peroxide.
  • For sunburn, what to apply to the skin sunburn: Solcoseryl, Panthenol (also used for children), Cream “Rescuer”, Fastin.
  • For herpes (different climate, temperature changes): Acyclovir, Tetracycline ointment, Oxolinic ointment, Viru-Merz, Viferon.
  • Other medicines related to your medical conditions.

What to take with you to the sea - list of documents

Without which you can’t move around the world, you can’t get a hotel room, confirm your identity and one of the most important items on the list of things to do for a holiday at sea and beyond:

  • Passport and foreign passport. And additionally make a copy of the first page of your civil and foreign passport, and the visa page. You can download all copies to your phone (take photos)
  • Tickets. If you are traveling by plane, train or bus, be sure to make photocopies.
  • If you have booked a hotel, you will need a printout of your reservation (voucher).
  • Medical travel insurance.
  • If you are traveling alone or alone with a child, then permission from the other spouse and his consent are required.
  • Driver's license (international standard, if you are going on vacation abroad). This is for renting a car or scooter.

How much money to take to sea?

What is missing at sea is money. No matter how many you take, it’s not enough! I want this thing, I want to go there, I want and...

  • Cash. “Real” money is always needed for travel and on vacation. Let it not be a large amount (and if you find yourself abroad, then it will certainly be dollars). For pocket money.
  • Bank cards. It is better to have cards from several banks with you, if possible (anything can happen with ATMs of a particular bank, but you have a card from another). MasterCard and Visa are suitable. Check the expiration date and remember the PIN codes.

What we can advise you - take as much as you really don’t mind. So that when you return from vacation, you don’t bite your elbows. And if approximately, we return to the list of things (scroll above). Again, a piece of paper and we write everything down point by point: housing, travel (gasoline, if by car), food, entertainment. If you haven’t booked your accommodation in advance and decide to pay on the spot, put the money in a separate envelope. Place some in the next envelope for the return trip.

The largest amount of expenses (you should be prepared for it) goes to entertainment and all sorts of souvenirs and trinkets. Next come the costs of food (groceries, canteen, cafe, ice cream, water, fruit, etc.).

Last year in 2016, we spent about 70 thousand rubles on a trip to the Black Sea for 10 days, in Sochi for four (two adults and two children). We drove in our own car. The house was spotted for 1,500 rubles per day.

What equipment should you take with you to sea?

Don’t type, let the gadgets rest, and you too. After all, we came to the sea to sunbathe and relax. Only the essentials:

  • Camera or video camera and charger for it.
  • Mobile phone, smartphone, tablet and again charger.
  • Additional flash drive.
  • Monopod for camera and phone.
  • Portable charger for everything (universal).
  • MP-3 player with headphones.

Clothes and shoes - a list of things to take with you to the sea

You have to figure this out yourself, since everyone wears what they like best. Some people like to change their clothes every day, put on outfits, wear an evening dress, while others are used to a casual style and prefer a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops.

To a woman

You know what you came to the sea for - how you will spend your days and evenings. Our advice is not categorical and is approximate.

  • Swimsuits or bikinis (2 pieces). Take a couple with you, we understand why. We swam in one, sunbathed, washed and dried. It was the second's turn. And so on in a circle.
  • Pareo for the beach (2 pieces). An irreplaceable thing for those who go on vacation at sea. This is an ordinary silk scarf (maybe from a different fabric), but on the other hand, it is a multifunctional beachwear. Look online and learn how to wear it correctly.
  • Shorts(1 piece). It is enough to take just one - they are less easily soiled.
  • Sundress (2 pieces). A couple of bright and free ones. You can visit cafes and restaurants there.
  • Skirt. Just like a sundress, it is suitable for “outings” to a restaurant or evening “entertainment”. It's better to take a long one.
  • Jeans or pants (1 piece). This is an important item on the list. And necessary in cool weather. Or maybe you want to visit the mountains.
  • Blouse(1 piece). See the point above - so as not to freeze.
  • Underwear (2 pieces). This is the minimum - for each individual.
  • Tops and T-shirts (2 pieces each). Enough for a 10-14 day holiday at sea.
  • Pajamas (1 piece). We advise you to take these clothes with you to the sea. After a hot day, salty water, you will want to take a shower and put on loose home clothes. Letting the body rest at night. Or a nightgown.
  • Flip flops. An essential shoe for the beach and seaside holidays. And in some cases, where the bottom is rocky, it is mandatory.
  • Sneakers. Useful for long walks and forays into the mountains, and in cold weather.
  • Panama il hat. Optional, but necessary thing which will protect you from the sun.

Everything else is at your request and discretion. An evening dress and shoes (sandals) only if they are necessary, and you have come to the sea to relax and have fun - to “hang out”.

To a man

Men are more practical than women in terms of things. Few people like to “show off” on the beach - they take the minimum. Only what is really necessary for them.

  • Swimming trunks (2 pieces). How would we go to the beach without them?
  • Underwear – briefs (2 pieces).
  • T-shirt and tank top (3-4 pieces). It’s still hot, and men sweat more profusely.
  • Socks (5 pairs). The same thing - we are talking about heat and sweating. Change more often.
  • Shorts (1-2 pieces).
  • Jacket (1 piece). Better light and with long sleeves.
  • Jeans or trousers (1 piece).
  • Sports suit. Instead of a sweater and jeans, for cool weather.
  • Flip flops, sneakers (1 pair each).
  • Panama hat, bandana or other headwear (1 piece). Avoid direct rays of the sun.

Creams, hygiene and personal care products

Everything without which your skin will fade. And also those things that bring order and beauty to your head, face and hands.

  • Toothpaste and brush
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving accessories
  • Shaving and aftershave creams for men
  • Soap, shower gel, shampoo
  • Manicure set for women
  • Wet and dry wipes
  • Cotton pads and buds
  • Hairdryer and comb (you can get by with just one comb)
  • Toilet paper

Protective means

A list of things that will protect your body from sunlight, insects, and salt water.

  • Sunglasses
  • Mosquito repellent spray or cream
  • Sun protection cream and tanning cream
  • Umbrella (preferably not a cane, automatic, folding)
  • Cap, Panama or hat

Other things

Women who cannot go without makeup every day can take a minimal set with them to the sea.

So what other things:

  • Cosmetics
  • Earplugs (useful for sleeping)
  • Mask for sleep
  • Towel (2 pcs) – for the beach and shower
  • Pen and notepad
  • Beach mat (you need something to sunbathe on)

It is better to leave jewelry and decorations at home. This way they will be safe and sound. You can also recall a bunch of different things, but they are more suitable for traveling (not for two weeks).

And here is the promised checklist - list of things to go to the sea download

Watch Video Tip - What to take with you to the SEA?! | Packing my suitcase for a trip:

If you are going on vacation at the seaside with children, then this is a list of things, let’s call it for children, you will have to add to the general one. Children are different and at sea you can meet both infants and fully grown children.

Before going to the sea, do not forget to look on the Internet where the nearest hospital is located from the place where you are staying, write down all emergency numbers.

Children's medicines

In addition to the medications described in the first aid kit (see above), you should take children's medications: for bruises, bruises and abrasions, drops for the nose and ears, antipyretic, antiallergenic, anti-motion sickness, powder, glycerin suppositories.

All those medications that the doctor prescribed for your child.

Baby clothes

  • For the sea (swimming) - swimming trunks or swimsuit (2-3 pieces)
  • Underwear (panties) – 2-3 pieces
  • Shorts and T-shirts (2 pieces are enough)
  • Set in the form of a top and a skirt or a top and a bridge (1-2 pieces)
  • Pajamas (1 piece)
  • Jeans (sport pants)
  • Long sleeve blouse
  • Panama hat or cap
  • Flip flops and sneakers
  • Dresses for girls (1 piece is enough)
  • Diapers (for babies)

Toys and useful things for visiting the sea

Well, what kind of child can do without toys? Take the ones he loves and plays the most. Toddlers and older children are very happy to play on the beach with a ball - don’t forget about it.

For little ones, it’s not a bad idea to bring inflatables: toys, circles, a pool, a mattress and more. Sand toys will also come in handy: digging in the sand with molds, a bucket and shovel, a water pistol. If possible (and if you have your own car, no problem), you can also take a beach umbrella with you.

Don't forget about food on the road and on the beach. Books, sketchbook or coloring book, markers or pencils. Nail scissors.

And one more Video, What to take with you to the sea with a child:

Rail transport in our country has already established itself as a cheaper mode of transportation. Those who are going to the south can often be found by train. The trip takes 2-3 days, so it is worth taking care of the list of necessary things.

The issue that worries me the most is food. If on the first day you can collect it yourself, then the next day (especially in hot weather) it’s already risky to eat yesterday’s food. There is a way out of the situation - take instant food with you (noodles, mashed potatoes), buy it from the platform and in local shops, or eat in the dining car.

For entertainment and pastime: books, magazines, newspapers, tablet or smartphone (don't forget about the charger). For the child: toys, coloring books. For the baby - a potty and bags.

More and more often, Russians travel by car. When traveling by car to the sea, costs are reduced significantly, especially in company. Economical, but a little cramped. And the convenience is that you have your own transport - you get in and go wherever you need to go.

Before the trip, be sure to check the car for serviceability - just go to the service center and tell them that you will have to drive for a long time.

Mandatory necessary list of things when traveling to the sea by car:

  • Navigator. This device will replace yesterday's card (if we talk about new or updated programs). Now there are navigators that already have built-in navigation maps, routes, and radars.
  • Atlas highways. This way you will quickly find your bearings and correctly create a route for the navigator (detours and shortcuts).
  • Bloothus headset (wireless) for cell phone. Your cell phone will distract you, but with this gadget it’s convenient to hold the steering wheel and talk on the phone.
  • Automotive tools. The unexpected can happen on the roads, so you should be as prepared as possible. But let's not talk about the bad.
  • Car first aid kit and fire extinguisher. No comments. This should always be in the car.
  • Flashlight (preferably 2 pieces).
  • Bedspreads. It can be chilly when driving at night.
  • And most importantly, documents: driver’s license and registration certificate.
