I was on vacation in a hotel with my husband and child for 7 years, I work as a travel agent, I often sent tourists to 5* and 4* hotels, and I decided to check the quality of the hotel on my vacation.

Check-in - we arrived at 21.45 and went straight to dinner. After dinner, we signed the completed form and went to our room. Room 1701 in a new building, everything is clean and new, wonderful beds, bathrobes in the closet, teapots... th set, large plasma and a wonderful view of the sea!

Food - I don’t understand tourists who have nothing to eat. The food is varied and very tasty, meat - beef and chicken in several varieties, rolls, seafood. Fruits: pomegranate, banana, oranges, tangerines, strawberries, melon. Delicious baked grapefruit for breakfast, donuts. I would like to highlight the smiling pizza guy and his delicious pizza, our child was delighted.

Beach - there are always towels for the beach and I didn’t see any problems, they were received at the entrance to the beach near the pools. The beach is very large, there is a place for everyone in the sun or in the shade, we came to the beach around 9 am, there were always many free sun loungers, of course there are some that occupy the sun loungers, leaving towels and personal belongings, but they were not annoying. Entry into the sea from 3 pontoons, all of them in working order, we liked the shortest pontoon the most. There is also access from the shore for children, there are rocks, you need special shoes. The sea during this period was 23 degrees, I specially took a thermometer to measure the water temperature, it was very warm for us, we swam all day. The reef is average in terms of the number of fish.

There is animation - not intrusive, a couple of times the child was at a mini-disco, and once we went to a show with snakes, mostly we went for a walk in the city in the evening or went to IL Mercato.

Heated pools near the beach and in the neighboring 4*, sometimes we went for a swim. There is a great park with birds.

The hotel is thriving and has a lot of adequate tourists.

Everything is fine, we were lucky with the weather, only two days it was cool and the tide was low, the first time this happened in Egypt. Hotel: I liked the rooms, they were very clean and tidy. The beach is good. True, the sunbeds are already very old. There are no tables or anything in the restaurant outside. They clean and serve everything quickly, but what happened on the first day, all 11 are identical, not a single dish has changed... elk. Grill - only lula. Very poor food, everyone complained a lot. On the beach, to eat, you have to make an appointment every day, they only give you an hour of time. And it’s bad that the heated pool is a small puddle, 80 cm deep and near the reception desk. And the downside is that there are just a bunch of Arabs and Egyptians. But we were determined that we would have a good rest, and so we rested. Flights without delays, everything is fine. Thanks a lot! Let's look forward to summer and Turkey!

Everything was very good at the hotel, except that the pools were not heated. The hotel description says that they are heated, but in fact they are cold. The food was excellent, there were oysters, mussels, crabs, and shrimp. The food is great. They gave us a wonderful room right away, without any money, extortion, without any hints. The area, the beach are clean, I liked everything very much. D... Even on the beach, bartenders come up and ask what to bring. The sun loungers on the beach were a little worn out, two days later they were changed. Everything was on top level except for swimming pools.

When we were planning to go to this hotel, they said that there was a heated pool on its territory, but it was not heated at that time, it was broken. This hotel is more suitable for family vacation with the kids. There are 3 entrances to the sea, everything is clean. Nice hotel, wonderful animators. We arrived in the morning when breakfast was over and we were immediately seated. The room was comfortable... bny, side by side, 4 beds (we went 2 adults + 2 children). Everyone really liked everything.

I would say that of all the hotels, I thought this one was the best. There is a wonderful service staff here, the quality of life and the development of remarkably dry infrastructure. A very efficient kitchen, always fresh, sufficient quantity, a wide range and no shortage of food. The animation was more European, and the axis of the Internet was based on the sea. It was possible to communicate with relatives according to... Messengers, the amazing power of the Internet. It’s a miracle that in a foreign land you can always be with your friends for a call.

If without emotions... then I have never seen such horror in 10 years of visiting Egypt!!!

The number of rooms was dead, there was a queue in the dining room (it’s difficult to call this a restaurant), for the first time I saw how inedible sausage was given out in pieces on everyone’s plate. There is dirt everywhere, the glass is simply disgusting to hold in your hand (there are no straws), coffee (powder) is generally scary to drink!!! In the "restaurant" the birds are shitting on... plates, a bar with empty bottles is something!!! The dust is unsanitary!!! The rooms stink of urine from previous guests!!! The first hotel where the administration yells at the guests and scolds them like first-graders!!! In general, we quickly changed the hotel... continued our vacation perfectly!!! The guide Georges is a shit... he doesn't care about anything... Narmina is smart, special thanks to her!!! Many guests simply scream with indignation... many do not want to bother with relocation. Everything is very simple!!!

For those who like it short. Give it a wide berth. It's better to add a couple of acres and take a better hotel. This is our second time at this hotel. The reason for the secondary choice is the beach and a more or less decent reef.

I'll start with check-in. Previously we offered to give a tenner for a better room. Now just give me twenty dollars and the room will be excellent. As a result they brought... to a small room on the ground floor. In the bathroom the lining is broken and hanging. The air conditioner only rattles and does not cool; the refrigerator is broken and not in the closet, but nearby. They demanded another one right away, but for the bucks they received they had to exchange it. In general, the number was sorted out. Only the hood in the bathroom is constantly buzzing loudly.

No one cleaned the room, they just smeared the floor. But they simply extorted the dollar. Either they don't bring water or towels. Give me a dollar, things will go well. And when checking out, the bellhop pulled his paw again. I didn't give it to him. So he called the reception and said that we broke the cup. Although it was cracked in the room from the very beginning. At the reception they stole a dollar from penny pinchers. The bellhop did not have time to smear the floor and was already running - everything was fine. If you said okay, give me a dollar and it won’t come off. They climb brazenly. We have not seen anything like this even in the same hotel in last year. They offered me a chocolate bar and flatly refused, like I needed money.

Another new addition to the hotel concept was the charge of 50 bucks for the loss of a bracelet. Initially, they didn’t fasten my bracelet well and didn’t cut the tail. In general, on the second day we came from the old city and at the entrance we discovered that the bracelet was missing. You're seething at the reception. You have big problems. Pay 50 bucks. No, I say friends, charter and go home. I had your bracelet and Egypt together. True, the wife, with persuasion and a connected guide from the anex, closed the problem without loss. The mood dropped and was constantly on alert. All the time I checked on the spot a piece of plastic for half a hundred bucks or a big problem.

Well, the canteen they call a restaurant is a separate issue. If you close your eyes or look at the ceiling, you will be full. There seems to be plenty of food, but the quality is terrible. It's undercooked, it's overcooked. If something is more or less edible, then there is a queue. That’s how we once coveted the line for seafood. Result: On the sixth day of rest, we didn’t leave the room for a day. Both had terrible poisoning. It was good that we had medicines with us. And when asked who will compensate us for this, there is a stupid smile and the answer is no one.

Many people say we are coming from overseas and the rest is nonsense. No guys, the holiday consists of this entire complex called all inclusive. But it turns out that after paying 1,200 killed hedgehogs, you continue to pay extra locally. If you add up all the extra expenses, I regret that I didn’t listen to our travel agent. She offered Rixos for $1,700. We felt that Egypt was not worth the money. But it turned out the other way around.

Beach towels are also a theme. Once we received them, we could no longer change them. No, you can submit it in the evening. But what time will you receive it in the morning and will it be enough? Therefore, others did not steam on their towels or arafatkas or anything else, but were simply without anything.

In general, this is such a gorgeous five.

I am attaching a photo of a guy who tried to pull money by the bracelet and pulled it off by the cup.

The only thing that made me happy was the gorgeous sea. And I dived and snorkeled to my heart's content. I found all my old friends and made new ones. I mean among the inhabitants of the sea.

In general, it was decided to change the holiday region. Everyone recommends Asia.

Have a good rest and choose a hotel with good service.

The Internet is only in the lobby and is weak. When the leaves fall, there are mosquitoes - you need to kill the zakhist. The day is short - the sun sets early - just like in Ukraine. The bedchambers of the great Ukrainians. The food is disgusting - fish, chicken, cowhide, and even pork. Just a cake and a pastry of extra licorice. Powdered juices. Room 1814 with a view of the pool and the sea has everything... And ask for a replacement - the mattress is torn, the bathtub is cracked. Tidying up is purely symbolic - people pass by and the bed changes. The sea is beautiful, warm, plenty of fish with which you can play all the time without getting tired. When the leaves fall in Sharm, the weather is just right for recovery.
collapse

We chose not so much a hotel as a windless bay, since we had a negative experience with the Rehana Hotel. And the hotel itself was recommended by a travel agent. We got it right with the bay - in the first half of November there was no wind, a couple of times there were waves near the shore, and at the edge of the pontoon there was a slight swaying on the waves - with a mask there were no problems at all. I don’t think this is the most chic reef to experience... a strong diver - but the rest have something to see, there are many types of fish, but I wouldn’t say in terms of quantity. There is a stingray, moray eel, slate sea urchin, starfish, tridacna and all sorts of different fish - if you ask “Fishes of the Red Sea” in Google, then in the pictures that open you will see inhabitants, almost all of which are in this bay. Sailing away from the pontoons, you will see a brighter reef.

The hotel itself - I won’t say that it’s 5 stars, that it’s chic - but if you don’t look into every corner and every crack, stock up on a good mood, then everything will be fine! Don't find fault with little things - and you will be happy.

The downside is the cleaning. Or rather, its almost complete absence. Young guys are cleaning - well, you understand)) We decided not to bother ourselves with all this - but it seems that in 9 days our bed was not changed)) Somehow they will sweep, make the bed, hang the towels evenly - and that’s enough for you)

Upon check-in, you were given slippers. For some reason, they only give you one bath towel per room by default. Even if there are three of you)) But come up and say - and everything will be.

Shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and soap, 1.5 liters of drinking water are provided every day.

The room has a free safe, a large plasma TV, air conditioning, a kettle with replenished supplies of tea, coffee, cream and sugar sticks.

The food is varied and there is a lot of it. Of course, at the beginning of the meal everything is displayed beautifully, decorated skillfully, and later the food is simply delivered in its usual form. There is enough of everything - vegetables, a lot of sauces and oils for them - water them yourself to your taste. There are also ready-made salads. Meat in different variations every day - but not pork, of course. Cereals, potatoes, legumes, pasta - everything is always there. Lots of delicious and beautiful desserts. Fruits - pomegranates, melon, grapes, dates, guava, oranges. In the evening, ice cream in packs every day. Food is not “mother’s” - you need to understand this. But everyone will find something tasty for themselves and will not remain hungry.

There are also restaurants that you need to sign up for at the Grill Bar upon arrival. We were in three - Fish, Mexican and Italian. When you sign up, you must immediately select your main dish. I liked the restaurants - be sure to go.

Drinks are some kind of mumbo jumbo, like everywhere else in similar hotels. I don’t know how many revolutions - but there are no hops in the head at all, neither from wine, nor from beer, nor from the type of whiskey or tequila. And little redneck glasses. This is the first time we have encountered such a size)

The hotel is located on a very beautiful rock, there is a place to take pictures. But the downside is that the descent to the sea is a bit difficult, although it won’t hurt to jog after a heavy meal. There are stairs and just an inclined descent, there is an elevator to the sea, and they also bring cars. The main beach is sandy, but there are also niches in the rock with sun loungers. There are few sunbeds, not enough during rush hour. Beach towels too. If you didn’t pick it up at 8 a.m., it was a lost cause.

Three pontoons of different lengths and a sandy entrance for the kids to splash around. They took corals but never used them. We didn’t walk in shallow water, we swam from pontoons - so there was no need for slippers. The sun sets early - at 16.00. Therefore, you need to come to the beach at about 7 am to catch the warmth longer.

From animation - during the day everyone will find something for themselves if desired - dancing by the pool, and yoga, and water polo, and darts, and tennis and table tennis, and in the evening live music and show program. There is a mini club for children. In the evening there is a disco at the hotel, as well as trips to nightclubs.

There are a lot of mosquitoes in November - spray and fumigator are a must.

To the left of the hotel there are shops, pharmacies, and a supermarket. A little further is the IL Mercato shopping district - walk through it and take a walk to the Old Market - there is a beautiful mosque and many shops.

The hotel's assets themselves have already deteriorated; the naked eye can see that they are not of the first freshness - but don't pay attention, don't find fault, find the good things around and enjoy the sea, sun and warmth! I wish you a good rest.

Normal relaxing holiday no frills.
There’s not much time, so the review this time will be unstructured and slightly chaotic.

As a person who has experience of visiting for 11 years already Egyptian hotels(I won’t write the names, there are my reviews about some of them, but the geography: Marsa Alam, Makkadi Bay, Safaga, Hurghada, Sharm Nabq, etc.), and, I believe, experience allows me to compare based on familiarity with Egyptian standards, so: I want to responsibly declare that I do not completely share those negative reviews, which attracts both Tophotels and Tripadvisor.

For reasons beyond my control, this year I had to go on vacation in mid-December. Accordingly, they looked for conditions where the rock would cover the sea from the wind, and where there would be a bay. And since in 2017 we vacationed in this part of the coast in Sharm at The Grand Hotel Sharm El Sheikh, the choice fell on the neighboring one, across the fence, DREAMS BEACH RESORT SHARM EL SHEIKH 5*. Having read the reviews, I was ready to end up in some kind of, excuse me, shithole, where there is no service, no normal rooms, no greenery, well, there is nothing good at all, well, except perhaps the reef, which is also dying. But there was no choice, plus, I was traveling with a family of 5 people (and two other families of friends), and these are two rooms only for a family, therefore, the budget also did not allow for the opportunity to go wild.

Upon arrival, fortunately, I breathed freely...

Friends! Normal hotel. General concept: there is everything you need, but without any frills. If it were a 4, I would confidently give 5 points everywhere. For a 5, I’ll give almost all points a solid 4. Of course, I admit that the hotel is at the stage of renovation, I don’t know, maybe we got there already when we corrected the errors listed in many previous reviews. But all those who traveled with me completely agree with my assessment. And of these, only the third time they were in Egypt for the first time, and who, having read all sorts of reviews, didn’t want to go through, solely because of the company, terribly screwed up, prejudiced, in anticipation of all sorts of horrors. The trip almost didn’t even get cancelled... Fortunately, everything worked out.

We arrived at the hotel around 8 am (although the hotel is not far from the airport, but this time we drove in circles for a very long time, about 1.5 hours, apparently the anex employees know that they don’t immediately check into this hotel, and so they plan the route in order to shorten waiting for check-in at the hotel). There were allegedly no rooms available yet, and bracelets were not issued before check-in. And drinking water in the lobby bar, and in all other bars, is paid. This is kind of a minus, but it is compensated by the fact that water is supplied to the rooms every day in one and a half liter bottles. Even if you don’t want your room to be cleaned, they still leave it under the door. Therefore, there is no shortage of water during vacation, but immediately upon arrival it is advisable to have your own supplies in your luggage.

So. This means they didn’t give me bracelets or numbers, they said they would definitely give me them by 2:00 p.m., and before that I should come periodically and inquire. Well, we left our things, changed clothes, and went straight to the sea. I still didn’t want to have breakfast after the flight. We immediately walked around the entire area. The hotel is medium sized. We saw both more and less. Landscaping is similar, average level. This is a desert, one should not expect thickets and prairies here. Yes, the same Charmillion is significantly greener. But, for example, Cleopatra Luxury Resort (which is one of the 100 best hotels Egypt, and where tours are three times more expensive) besides palm trees, in comparison with Dream Beach, it can be said that it has nothing at all. And then everything was discovered that two years ago they saw in the more expensive Grand Hotel. Quite acceptable for this zone! Having read the reviews, I expected to see the Gobi Desert.

The area is well maintained. Banana peels, cigarette butts, leftover food, nothing lying around anywhere. Although I noticed that there are not very many staff, if not few. Yes, the hotel is simple, the paths are not marble, just ordinary tiles. I say: everything is simple, no frills, but functional. Along the road we go down to the sea. It looks like tiers to the water. Going up and down is not difficult, the angle of descent/elevation allows even older people to walk calmly.

On the way we pass the main pool. Large, clean, 1.40 deep. No heating. I never swam there, I only touched the water. It’s cold, 20 degrees. Next to it there is a small pool, about 10 meters in diameter, with a depth that seems 3 or 4 meters, I don’t remember exactly. It's probably good there in the summer. In the same pool (mostly in the sense) there is the main slide of this hotel (I do not attribute the slides in the neighboring Dreams Vacation from the same chain to this hotel). I didn't swim, but quite a lot of people did. There is also a booth with towels. Half new, half old, but not worn out to the point of sheets. The sunbeds near this pool are, yes, wooden, not new. And the mattresses are normal, not torn, not dented, not dirty. Simple, no finipers. By the way, in Albatross Waterpark in Hurghada, where tours for several hundred bucks on the same day were more expensive, the sun loungers on the beach are rubbish in comparison.

There is a snack bar near the same pool. From 16 to 17 there are hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, etc. Sometimes they give you rolls that you fill yourself with cheese, sausage, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc.

We pass the pool and go directly to the shore. It is sort of divided into three zones. The enclave on the far right (if you look at the sea) is a landlocked zone. There is a heated swimming pool, 20 meters in diameter, 1.40 deep, next to it there is a children's puddle that is knee-deep for adults, and a children's slide there. Near the Grill House pool. It’s like a lunch restaurant right on the seashore, so you don’t have to go to the dining room in the main building. It seems to be open from 12 to 15. There is an elevator descent to this area from the upper level, on which the hotel itself is located. From the elevator you can walk along the road along the coast to the farthest beach. Apparently, the elevator was installed only to meet the Egyptian 5 star standard. There is no particular need for it. At the same time, you can go down here along the steps with a kind of zig-zag. An improvised shuttle goes to the elevator from the lobby: a truck with benches installed in length, passengers sit sideways in the direction of travel. This is for the very lazy.

At this point I will complain about the hotel. While this pool was heated, everything was fine. But somewhere on the 6th day of rest, something broke, or was turned off to save money, I don’t know, but after that the water in it dropped to indecently cold, it became difficult to enter without internal heating. The children stopped swimming altogether. We complained, in response they showed a show of repairs, someone in special uniform came, opened the hatches, etc., went down to the pumping room, but they did not repair it until the end of the holiday. I recommend that those who are planning to go there ask not only whether there are heated swimming pools there, but also whether they are OPEN during this period. Well, we began to swim in the sea even more often. It was warmer.

There are umbrellas and sun loungers around the pool. New, plastic. We lived there, left things there, and made forays to the sea several times a day. Mostly quiet, even children don’t bother us too much. Music doesn't play. It’s loud only when they do aqua aerobics in this pool, but as I understand it, this is only in winter. Please note that the sun hides behind the elevator shaft early at altitude. Around 15.30

This area has its own bar. Beverages? Well, the drinks: yes, the same as everywhere else, as in the bulk of Egyptian hotels. Yes, a shmurdyak who doesn’t really interject. But we drank exactly the same drinks in the hotel, which has a rating of 4.7 on Tophotels, and even higher on Tripadvisor, where the main contingent were Germans. So this is not a criterion. You won’t get sick, but it’s better, of course, to bring something else with you, for variety. Yes, the beer was good, even though it was on tap. There was no bottle service. No juices. Coffee is only instant, but there is always hot coffee. So is hot tea. They sit in teapots, you pour yourself. At every bar.

They pour VERY LARGE glasses at once, and without vandollar. They don't save. Apparently, so that they would not be distracted by repeated visits.

We move from right to left. There is a large dirt area without access to the sea, where there are just sunbeds, where it is good to sunbathe. They also do stretching and gymnastics, or whatever it’s called, I didn’t get into it.

Next there is a rock in the sea, which separates the first zone from the second along the shore. The second one is smaller, there is the first small pier, from which we dived immediately upon arrival. To say that I was stunned is to say nothing. On December 9, I expected at least 22 degrees, but I couldn’t expect the real 26, or even more! Then I immediately realized that choosing the bay behind the rock was an absolutely correct and justified decision! Subsequently, the temperature dropped by about 2 degrees by the end of the holiday, but the sea was warm all the time. The rock reliably covered the entire coast from the wind. In the middle of the holiday, it was a little stormy for two days, we didn’t swim. And in comparison with the Storms in Marsa Alam, it couldn’t even be called a storm. There wasn’t much wind on the shore, even from the sea. But they weren’t allowed into the sea. Then it calmed down and everything became ok.

There is also a bar here, larger than the one I described above. They make wonderful crepes there! Pancakes with jam, powdered sugar, preserves, honey, etc. I'm not a sweet tooth, but even I tried them regularly. The children were constantly running. They give unlimited amounts.

In this area there is a sunbed next to a sunbed. It's cramped, there are a lot of people. Well, those who want to be closer to the sea. This is how it is main beach. There is music, animation, darts, and something else.

So, a few words about animation. I liked them: we didn’t touch them, they did us :) No, of course they came up, offered to participate, but did not impose themselves. When we ourselves wanted something, then we ourselves joined them. Thanks to them. This short, plump, curly-haired Egyptian was especially active. He was very enthusiastic about water aerobics and got a lot of grannies. And active on the show. Our girls animators were also on the level. I didn't ask for names. We worked normally all day. We weren't lazy. The guy is Kazakh too.

We go further along the shore. Again there is a rock that separates the previous beach from the next bay, which is the main, large one, where a long reef runs across. Immediately behind this rock there is an entrance to the sea from the shore into a very small, separate pit-cove, separated by buoys. This is for children and non-swimmers. You can go up to your chest. 20-30 meters in diameter. It would be desirable to have corrals there, although I didn’t see any sharp stones there. We go further along the parapet, and we have a normal pier, from which you can either simply dive into the water, or go down the stairs. It leads to a normal reef zone, which, as for Sharma, is quite. By the way, the depth there is about 10 meters. You can clearly see everything down there. A little further from the reef the bottom is not visible at all.

In general, after Marsa, of course, it can be argued that there is no reef in Sharma. But this is maximalism, of course. My friend, who had previously only traveled to the Black, Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas, saw this reef for the first time and said: “Compared to this sea, all the other seas I’ve been to are not seas!” Yes, there are only 20 or 30 species of fish, the basic Egyptian set, and not 100, as in Mars. There are no moray eels, turtles and manatees, no manta rays and octopuses, or crocodile fish, and many other things that can be seen further south in the Red Sea. But if you haven’t seen all this, or have previously vacationed somewhere in Hurghada (or near it) - you can safely come here. The reef is very beautiful for Sharma. For those who have seen more, it may not be anything special. But is everything known by comparison? As for Mars - not very much. But in comparison with Hurghada, it’s just right. There's a lot to see there.

From this pier we swam both to the right and to the left along its entire length. In my opinion, the reef to the right is more interesting. To the left (again, this is all oriented if I’m describing it by looking at the sea) at first it’s normal, but then the reef is actually overgrown with algae, and that’s where it’s probably “dying.” The farthest and longest pier leads to that “dying” zone of the reef, which is, as it were, submerged, and therefore slippery, and leads from the beach farthest to the left, where a serpentine staircase leads out. But we didn’t go there, so I won’t say anything about that beach.

We've sorted out the sea and the shore. Go ahead. We returned from the sea at about 10.30, we were immediately called to the reception. They said there are rooms, but they say you have to pay a little extra for a good building. To hell with it. Someone wrote above that they had agreed for $10 to be moved from the room they didn’t like, and he immediately said the same thing: 10 bucks, and not a cent more, but that everything would be on the level! And everything is ok. Immediately bracelets, cards, shuttle, etc. We found ourselves in a newly renovated building, No. 31. Great room. You can see the sea from the balcony. Everything you need is there. Everything is clean, everything is intact. Safe, refrigerator, TV, everything. Good bed with a normal high mattress. My back didn't hurt. Absolutely normal number! Building 31 was exactly the same, renovated in appearance. At the same time, repairs to buildings 28 and 29 were underway. So, in the future it will be possible to go there.
Towels were changed, blankets were made, swans were sold for a vandollar. Standard. They didn’t show monkeys or anything else exotic, everything was simple, no frills :) But we didn’t need it. In general, we always clean up every other day at most.

People are dispersed throughout the territory (except for the beach directly on the shore near the pier), fortunately, the territory allows it. No one sits on each other’s heads, the music doesn’t really add to the numbers.

Staff. Well, really, I expected a lot worse. The reviews were inflated. But it turned out that people work normally! I thought, as sometimes happens, to use vandollars to increase the level of service, but as it turned out, there was no particular need for this, although I ended up giving away everything that I planned to give there. But as a thank you, and not to purchase a service. At all the bars, in the restaurant, in the grill house, they served normally with a smile, joked with the children, and worked quickly. I didn’t notice any arrogance. I would especially like to mention the lifeguard Ahmed-Sheriff near the heated pool. Before you have time to go to the pool in the morning, he will immediately come up and ask how many sunbeds you need and where it is best to place them. He will transfer everything himself, give information about the hotel, about everything, anything in Egypt, he will guard things, etc. etc.. An excellent conversationalist, not intrusive. Hi to him!

I was also impressed by the general manager (well, as far as I understood) of that snack restaurant near the main pool, where we always went for coffee and snacks after the sun set behind the elevator shaft near the heated pool, which I wrote about earlier (plus our women went for Zumba). This is about 16. Somehow, from the first day, he singled us out, and always served our company personally. Polite, courteous, and so, I would say, respectable that I had to improve my English :) Well, very pleasant service. Of course, we were not in debt. But not only financially, but a separate “shukran” as a “see you tomorrow” on our part.

Nutrition. Everything is simple here: nothing special. There is everything you need, but no more: chicken, beef, kofta (chicken, meat, kebab cutlets, who didn’t understand), mashed potatoes (mashed potatoes, by the way, are not bad, made with butter and milk, not olive oil), rice , pasta, one dish from the chef (fish, or turkey, or another veal beef), for those who like it, the chef prepares spaghetti in Neapolitan sauce or bechamel (two sauces, not 4 as in some hotels). Two soups for lunch and dinner are a must, as for me, onion and tomato are traditionally the best. There is always some kind of vegetarian dish. You won't go hungry, but there's no variety. As you understand, we didn’t go there just for him, I’m not a gourmet at all, so this didn’t affect our vacation in any way. I didn’t leave the sea for lunch; I ate at the grill house near the pool. We find almost everything the same as in the main restaurant, but the soup is always vegetarian. And sweets, of course, no pastries, no cakes, you still can’t keep them on the street. Baklava, cookies, buns. There are always avocados, oranges, tangerines (the second two are always very sweet, normal), cucumbers, tomatoes (the latter are less common). In the main restaurant there are 4-6 types of cakes. 8-10 cakes. Yes, not 20. Well, we’re fine. For dinner there is always factory-made ice cream on a stick. So-so, but there.

All food is Europeanized. No one was ever poisoned, including children. Oh, I’ll also note that in the morning there are two whole cooks preparing scrambled eggs and omelettes. Apparently, there used to be a queue, but now the situation has been corrected.

I really liked the Christmas motifs in which both the lobby and main restaurant. Or rather, not even the decoration itself, but the musical background! All the time he plays Christmas songs in the style of Sinatra, such an American Christmas, like from the movies. Retro:

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
Since we"ve no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Smart decision. Not loud, doesn’t interfere with talking, doesn’t burden you, relaxes.

By the way, every evening there is live music on the platform near the lobby! The singer (I don’t remember her name, please forgive me, I think Julia) performs all the hits we know. And old Soviet, and from the new stage, and English-language hits, in general, the whole set. Performs with inspiration and originality! The only thing is that her equipment is already flying, to put it mildly. The high-frequency speaker is already wheezing, preventing you from enjoying the songs at the most pleasant moment. Administration - buy normal speakers! The idea of daily live music is great, but the implementation ruins everything.

There seems to be internet in the lobby, but like in all hotels in Egypt, only when the wind blows. We bought an 8 gig SIM card for 8 euros at the airport, I think. This salad. This hotel is doing great.

The contingent at the hotel was mainly from the CIS, a few Italians, and very few locals. But I’ll tell you honestly: this time I didn’t see a single case of outright Tagil. Nice relaxing holiday. Mostly middle-aged and older people. The hotel is not for youth.

We went to the center. Taxis negotiated $5 round trip. It could have been cheaper, but it was too lazy to waste time. In the center we bought strawberries for 1.5 dollars a pack. And then we went to the Dreams Vacation hotel next to ours (the territory is combined, you can move from hotel to hotel without leaving the territory), there are many more shops there than in Dream Beach. If you enter the corridor with shops near their lobby from the pool, go to the distant store with vegetables and fruits. There's a guy there who gives you 3 packs for $3. There is no point in going to the center. Before leaving, we bought mangoes for 2 euros per kg. from the Egyptian Imed, who runs a small stand-alone shop on the road from the lobby to the conference room. Always stands in national clothes. In the center the price is the same or more expensive.

By the way, in Vikation there is a whole aviary with parrots, and some other living creatures. Children are interested. There seems to be only one pool there, but it’s all heated. And there are convenient exits from the pool to the cabins that protect from the wind. You can dry yourself there. Smart solution, first time I've seen this.

The insects weren't particularly annoying. They didn't even install a fumigator. Probably because it's December.

When flying back, the bracelets were cut off immediately after checking in at 12.00. And they picked us up from the hotel somewhere around 16.30. Officially, the use of restaurants and bars ceases. Well, we put our things in the storage room and continue to swim at sea. And believe me: we didn’t go hungry or without drinks, although I won’t say how. I’ll just give you a hint: be simpler and kinder during your vacation, and people will flock to you, including the service staff;) The administration also reacted normally to everything and did not find fault during this period.

In general, a simple hotel without much variety, but with everything necessary for a normal holiday, with decoration, instead of the missing pomp, a good reef, like for Charm. If you love fintipers, and the sea is secondary for you, then this is not the place for you. If, due to budget restrictions, or other considerations, you are ready to sacrifice delights and variety, 8 hot dishes to choose from are enough for lunch, and no more, your friends are going with you, with whom you will arrange for yourself everywhere good holiday, and at the same time, the sea plays a big role for all of you - you can safely come here. Have a good rest. We didn’t see anything so terrible that could ruin our vacation so much.

First of all, I probably want to appeal to those who are going on holiday abroad for the first time, do not write reviews immediately after your first visit to an All inclusive hotel!!! Of course you will like it anyway!!! In this case, reviews were written by probably 90 percent who were on holiday abroad for the first time, which is where the rating of 4.4 actually comes from, and then people like me read that everything seems to be good and the price is ridiculous, and then they curse the day they took a ticket to such a hotel

Now about the hotel itself. Having been here, I got the idea that 5* hotels should be divided into subcategories, that is, if it’s like 5*, then you also need to put a number next to it to understand where you’re going, because 5* is the same thing, you know, it’s doubtful whether it’s 5 or not 5 So, this second rating would be 3-. We paid 700-750 $ for 9 nights for two. It’s better to pay an extra $100-200, even if it’s for 7 days, but it’s okay to relax in good hotel. We flew there and back three hours later.
I won’t complain about the room, everything worked, it was cleaned, surprisingly nothing was torn, the furniture was shabby, but we chalk it up to the fact that this is Egypt. The downside of the room is that if at the very peak of the heat, at one or two in the afternoon, you want to take a cool shower, then roll up your lip, because the water from the tap is hot and very hot. The room in building 24 was on the 2nd floor (2412). Another minus is the balcony door. This is tough, it’s almost impossible for girls with manicures to open it! Then you still have to exert all your strength to move it away. It's funny they give 1.5 liters of water per room! Are you seriously? I explain to those who thought that this was enough. In Egypt, they don’t even recommend brushing your teeth with tap water. So, it was just the two of us; a bottle was enough for us, roughly speaking, for a day. Brush your teeth in the morning and evening, drink and that’s it. What if you make tea or coffee? AND more water nowhere to get it! Unless you throw away the bottle, go to the bar and stand drawing glasses from the cooler. What if there are three or four of you in a room? I hope it's clear.

Food...We found ourselves in Ramadan (for those who don't know, google it). In the first two or three days we began to see clearly. Rice is dry and hard (this is the same dish), half-raw potatoes, chicken, beans, something else, it was impossible to eat sweets, fruit. And this is all very, very sad. We are in Egypt for the third time, and we have been in other countries in fours, believe me, we have seen much better. When Ramadan ended, it started... it turns out they can cook something else! Pizza, fish, liver, spaghetti and a kilometer-long queue. What's the point? Ramadan ended on June 4 and it was from that day that locals flocked to this hotel! I’ve just never seen so many of them in my life. Ukrainians and Russians are arrogant, ill-mannered and pigs??? Yes, sure! It’s good that we were leaving on the 6th day, and on that very day, while we were waiting at the reception for the transfer, a lot of them arrived (see photo)
The weather is also just terrible, I don’t know how people go there on vacation in the summer? It's 40 degrees there at night!
Beach... to get there you have to walk about 10 minutes, depending on where your room is. In general, not bad, three pontoons are very good, this is really a plus for them. The water is warm, but stormy in the morning. The downside is the sun loungers. Do you want to find him to be normal? Don’t look, maybe 1 out of 10 you’ll find (see photo) We visited the a la carte Grill House and Fish market, better than the main “restaurant”

The water in the pool is very warm, it won't cool down. Umbrellas by the pool are crap guys! How could this be done? Sorry, I didn't have time to take a photo.

Beverages. Gin with the smell of acetone, beer, an incomprehensible liquid similar to beer, my husband drank rum and cola, but it wasn’t that great either. The wine is disgusting, I've never drunk worse in my life.

Animation is a separate issue, no animation, no talking. Everything happens only in the heat and only by the pool, sometimes they do something in the evening. Dinner from 19.00, animation at 22.00. The question is, if at 7 pm you ate in half an hour, what should you do for another 2.5 hours?
It’s true that the staff doesn’t understand anything in Russian. She explained to one of them what rum and cola is, without exaggeration.
We went to the pyramids from the anex tour. Instead of the promised 5 hours of travel in a comfortable bus with a toilet and the Internet, we got at least 8 hours of travel, if I can’t go to the toilet at all and only for a small one. Internet? What are you talking about, we’re driving through the desert and the connection disappears, and I almost twisted it at my temple. We drove through the desert at two o'clock in the afternoon, that is, the peak of the heat, the air conditioning simply could not cope. For a minute, in the Dominican Republic the anex tour bus is many times better, more comfortable and actually has internet. If you are planning to go to the pyramids in advance, be aware, do not pay extra for camels!!! You won’t have free time, they stupidly drag you in the heat to places where you can take pictures with the pyramids in the background and that’s all. You won't be able to go where you want. If you really want to ride camels, take a separate excursion with ATVs, it will be more interesting. Just keep in mind that if you take ATVs from a tour operator, it’s only a chain ride!
Pancakes on the beach, I was shocked. We skipped lunch and decided to at least eat pancakes, because there was really nothing else. There are pancakes, but there are no utensils to eat, eat with your hands, comrades, as they say.
Also about the excursion to the pyramids, but that’s all for the hotel. The packed lunch we were promised. Two sandwiches, a cucumber, a tomato and 0.5 liters of water, to take more - buy it!!! Is this normal at all? Where have you seen this in 5* hotels???
All in all cheap hotel matches the service, food and everything else. A lot of people came for the first time to see what it was and walked around in delight with their mouths open (and then the rating was 4.4). The man personally told me that the buffet was gorgeous and he was very pleased with everything! What a surprise he was when I said that this was nothing compared to others. At the hotel Royal Grand Sharm rating 4.37. Why is this 4.4????? Everything is much better there, food, program, beach, service, pool, water at the bar can be taken in unlimited quantities! People, be realistic!
I recommend it to those who are traveling for the first time and categorically do not recommend it to those who know what a real all inclusive is.
