I'll write detailed review, maybe it will help someone in choosing a hotel.

CHECK IN and ROOM. We arrived in the morning and were checked in within 30 minutes. The room is large, not very comfortable. The plus of the room is a view of the quiet pool, a wonderful bathroom with a bidet, a bathtub and a shower, marble walls and floors, a large bed with a very soft mattress like a feather bed. The downside is the pillows. It was impossible to sleep on them, they were very thick and very tightly stuffed, we slept without pillows at all, it was extremely uncomfortable. Slippers were provided upon request, and there were two bathrobes in the room, although only my husband used the bathrobe. The robe was about five sizes too big for me, and the quality of the robe leaves much to be desired - the robe is hard and scratchy, even touching it is extremely unpleasant. The biggest drawback of the room is a very unpleasant smell, somewhat musty, which intensifies when the air conditioner is turned on for heating. They immediately asked to show us other rooms. They showed me another room on another floor, and the smell was also present. Therefore, we had no choice but to stay in the room in which we were placed. At the reception they promised to eliminate the smell within 15 minutes. Indeed, the cleaners came, opened the lid of the air conditioner, sprayed fragrance into the air conditioner), the smell of which disappeared within an hour, but the unpleasant smell of some kind of dampness remained and in eleven days this smell did not dissipate despite the fact that our balcony was open practically the whole day, they also left it ajar at night, fortunately there were practically no mosquitoes, they killed a couple of them during the entire time. The floors were not washed, they asked to wash them and they washed them. Soap supplies were replenished every day. They cleaned up fine. There was no coffee in the tea set. Only tea. The refrigerator was empty and also broken. For three days they could not get it repaired. No one at the reception understands Russian. There is no Russian-speaking guest relations, like in all normal hotels in Egypt, in this hotel. The refrigerator was replaced three days later, when I began to demand compensation for medicines spoiled in the non-working refrigerator. The word compensation seems to be familiar to them. Although, of course, I didn’t see any compensation).

INTERNET. It seems like it exists, but it seems like it doesn’t. It is stated in the concept that the Internet is available throughout the entire territory, including the rooms. In fact, even my classmates didn’t open up.

RESTAURANT. Just a canteen. Dirty chairs indoors and wicker chairs stained by crows outdoors. From the service staff there were two guys who cleared the tables and brought drinks. You had to run around for cutlery and napkins, you had to wait for drinks, they were brought towards the end of the meal or not brought at all. It feels like the staff is instructed to take their time so that the guest does not have time to drink more than one glass. The beer most often ran out as soon as it started). Plates, by the way, too. And choosing a clean plate without greasy stains was not an easy task. As for food, mashed potatoes diluted to water every once in a while, rice in bulk, all grilled meat for lunch and dinner, everything dry, burnt, especially chicken, and the same thing every day. Minced meat cutlets differed only in shape and name. The biscuits are dry, there is only a hint of cream for the layer. The beef is tasteless. An extremely poor selection of vegetables, you can’t bite the guava, thanks for the strawberries - they were there for about five days when the melon was gone. Pizza is dough with sauce spread on the surface. The pots often ran out of food and were not replenished for a very long time, so you had to choose from what was available.

SEA AND BEACH. This is generally a quiet horror. Our VIP zone is the most remote to both the sea and the bar. Plus - there were always free sun loungers, albeit in the shade. Minus - the mattresses on the sun loungers were torn and dirty, they didn’t look like VIP. Everything else is Gelendzhik, there are 30 sunbeds in a row close to each other and people therefore lying shoulder to shoulder, a sewer pipe going under our pantone, by the way, from the territory of the Gafi Hotel, foam, dirt, garbage and stains on the water, the stench from the exhaust of motorboats , which moor to the panton, a part of the beach occupied by catamarans, and a “bar” without snacks, but with constant huge queues for drinks in small plastic cups, no more than two per person. The bar is in quotes because it's a shabby counter. The towels have seen some wear. It’s impossible to remember the toilet without shuddering; such dirt and stench could previously only be seen in a public station station free toilet we have.

Walking along the embankment from our hotel to the very end of the naama, we realized that our hotel was the most miserable. Both the hotel and the beach.

ANIMATION, i.e. a pathetic image of her. Something happened on the beach for about 10 minutes a day, like the animators dancing and exercising to music, which was turned off immediately when the exercise ended. There was no water aerobics because there was no clean sandy bottom for this, and there was no animation near the pool either. In the evenings there were some events on the territory of the neighboring piano near their “restaurant”, but there was never any free seats, because all the chairs were at the tables that had been occupied since dinner.

POOL AND BARS. The pool was only heated, barely, so it was scary to take a dip, and even more so to get out of the water. The music is classical from morning to evening, the repertoire has not changed. The bartender Ahmed was friendly and made good cocktails. Although it’s difficult to call it cocktails, just some kind of alcohol, filled with juice and syrup. We only got good cocktails at the Cactus bar, and this is not our hotel’s bar, but a nearby cheap one. The second bartender in our hotel, Hesham, is actually a miracle, he just extorted chocolates and inflated his price, calling himself a chef, I didn’t want to drink his cocktails, because in his performance they were slop. There were croissants as a snack in this bar, but not for long, they ran out after half an hour.

The bar in the lobby did not work; there was no live music, as stated in the hotel concept, either in the lobby or in the pool bar.

TERRITORY. Dried grass or its complete absence on lawns. Dried bushes and trees. Everything is unkempt.

COMPLIMENTS. This is not accepted in this hotel, although it is stated in the concept that it would be logical for the five. Nobody in the “restaurant” is congratulated, no tambourines or songs.

ALA CART. No!!! Not a single ala carte restaurant!!! Those. They seem to be there, but they don’t work.

CHILDREN'S CLUB AND WATER SLIDES. No!!! Even in the next hotel. Once upon a time, before 2015, there was a part of the hotel across the street that had slides. Good ones. But now this part of the hotel is closed. I suspect that many go to this hotel after watching a video from 2014 on YouTube, in which the then still operating Le Royal Holiday hotel was filmed by vacationers Resort Sharm el Sheikh, now closed, but until 2015 it was open and very good, with slides and other delights.

RESULT. This is definitely not an A. This is a three minus compared to the Egyptian fours we were in. In everything in the hotel you can feel not even miserliness, but complete meanness in its worst manifestation. Lawns are not watered, saving water. That's why everything is dried out and neglected. Chairs and armchairs in restaurants are not changed, they are all torn and covered in dirty stains. The hotel claims room service and room service. So the hotel does not allow food to be taken out of the restaurant in plates, because there are not enough plates in the dining room. If you want to eat a cake with tea in your room in the evening before going to bed, put it in your plastic bag. The lobby bar is not open, although it is cold outside in the evening in winter. I think it’s closed on purpose so that people don’t sit there in the evenings and drink their alcohol; you can’t sit outside for long in the evening. Not a single coffee machine!!! There is no coffee even in the rooms! There is no instant coffee even in the cafeteria! A couple of times they put out instant in a jar for dinner, the rest of the time - diluted slop in a jug. In order to save money. In bars, alcoholic drinks are all in plastic bottles, and this hotel has the worst of all that we have tried in Egyptian hotels, just bitter water. I have already written about the policy for serving wine in the canteen. Also, in order to save money, the pools are not illuminated. The area of ​​both ours and the neighboring piano is dark. There are many swimming pools in the nearby piano, but none are heated.

Conclusion. We will never return to this hotel and will not recommend it to anyone. There was nothing extremely bad about him, but there was nothing good that would be remembered and remembered later with pleasure. The only luxury it has is a soft bed and a luxurious bathroom. But for this reason, go to this hotel It’s hardly worth it for that kind of money (we paid $1,400 for two people for 11 nights, a lot for winter). By the way, NOT ONE!!!European stayed at the hotel. This is an indicator of the quality and level of the hotel. In all likelihood, European travel agencies do not offer this hotel at all, so as not to go broke on fines and compensation to their dissatisfied tourists.

I’ve been using a local SIM card with internet on all my trips to Egypt for almost a year now, it’s noticeably cheaper than local Wi-Fi (Vodafone 90 pounds 1500 mg per month, apparently, unless of course it’s free)

Well-groomed territory, super rooms with a decent diagonal LCD TV, an air conditioner that works even when the balcony door is not closed, the bathroom has a bathtub and a shower, and unfortunately, there is also a toilet. The plumbing is good.
We booked a room with two single beds. We were accommodated on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool and bar.
The room is simply huge! Grandma was delighted)
For those who understand, my baby GW and SS, respectively, have one bed, and so, the beds are of course comfortable, BUT... My one and a half year old baby just rolled towards me, and sleeping like that is extremely uncomfortable. Looking from the sea to coastline you remember our south... People sit tightly, some even just on towels due to the lack of free sun loungers. I haven't seen this for a long time...
There is a massage parlor near the beach, but no spa of its own. You can use the spa and sauna in the Sonesta Club four across the street. I can’t bring myself to go there yet, although I really miss the sauna and massage.
There is no ATM in the Royal Deluxe. I asked, they said it doesn’t work, but they didn’t show me where it was, they sent Beach Five to the reception desk...
The most unpleasant situation so far
We had breakfast on the first day after our arrival in the one closest to the royal, farthest from the sea, I ordered fresh orange juice, a junior manager came running and said that the fresh juice was paid for, I agreed, they brought me 2. I didn’t have any money with me, I had to sign the check as in normal hotels, they didn’t give it, this manager said, like tomorrow.. That tomorrow I didn’t understand and quietly forgive me, I was a bit pretentious.
After meeting with the hotel guide, I learned that fresh juices *in all restaurants of the beach and the club for breakfast for royal guests are free in any quantity.... I told about the strange situation in the morning, the guide * joined me)
On the next morning, having breakfast at the same restaurant, I ordered 4 fresh juices.
Two adults and an infant, who was paid for as a child (due to the seat on the plane).
They didn't bring drinks for a very long time. About 15 minutes later the same manager came running: 4fresh? And those 2 from yesterday.
I repeated the guide’s words regarding fresh juices. This visibly angered the manager and he rushed off *calling the owner* and muttered something else.
I called hotel guide, explained the situation, she was indignant and said that she would now call the manager of this restaurant.
The juices were still not served, although we had almost finished breakfast. The atmosphere among the waiters around us was nervous. About 10 minutes later, apparently a senior manager came and brought 2 juices with the words: * one person - one fresh *
I said that the child is not an infant, but also a person, they brought another juice. The junior manager ran around us constantly snapping in his gibberish with an angry face. Apparently he already mentally spent the money on our fresh juice, but here it’s such a bummer)))
The manager then told the guide that they would give us a maximum of 5 fresh juices.
*And why do your guests drink so much juice???*
I don't like being limited. Moreover, it seems like all this was paid for, even for alcohol, which in principle I don’t drink.
Now we are having breakfast in our bar. We pour the fresh juice from the jug into glasses ourselves, no one seems to look into our mouths)
That same day I ran into a piece of tile in the large pool near the bar. I picked the splinter out of my finger myself. I went to the reception, they took me to the first aid station, where they filled the wound with iodine, covered it with baneocin and covered it with a plaster.

I didn't hear any apologies or anything like that.
But it's just a small incident. The situation with juice in a Collection hotel Luxury Resort 5* impressed me much more....
