Excellent service, good staff, everyone knows their place and, if necessary, helps with everything. We were delayed for 3 hours and when we took off, we arrived in time for dinner and were immediately given a room on the 2nd line; we could have changed the next day, but we didn’t want to. “Lines” live their own lives, like separate states, and here it’s up to everyone to decide what they want from their vacation. I'll tell you in more detail: the first line - standard rooms, small, very dense accommodation, not enough space, but right next to the sea. The hotel music is shouted over by the gadgets of the vacationers 😀 Some are screaming “Leningrad”, others are screaming Kirkorov 😂 noisy, fun, energetic, but there are queues at the bar)) more suitable for young people. If you want a relaxing holiday or a holiday with children, the second line is ideal for this: new large rooms withview of the pool and large balconies, your eyes do not rest on other people’s housing, quiet, calm, spatial... There are many sun loungers under the areas, the pools are large, but not deep (1 - 1.20 m), 2 cave-style slides, 2 bars on the beach , only 1 was open, but there was never a line, and the fries there were very tasty - just like McDonald's. There is plenty of everything in the restaurant at any time, they always bring everything, and if something runs out, they take good care of it. We arrived almost at the end, and there was everything: fruits, vegetables, all kinds of pastries, veal, chicken, baked duck, fish, side dishes, milk (various yoghurts), burgers and much more that we didn’t even have enough to try. Yasmine Farage, Mohamed Metwali, Thank you for the good service, one look - and two red vines were already on our table:) Lost things are also returned (Basem Saad - thanks a lot!) And the bus driver who runs around the hotel to the sea every 15 minutes - well, a very sociable person who will find his own approach to everyone and have fun on the road - Mohamed Taha - we will miss you. The reef is very beautiful, the sea is clean, there are fish... You can rent and take beach towels without any problems, they are always brought clean. I would like more and more accurately beach line hotel - there were enough sun loungers, but there wasn’t enough space for everyone under the umbrellas after 10 am, the steps were steep and not very clean (they could use some repairs in some places), but these are minor things compared to the beauty of the sea! Both on the shore and on the hotel grounds, sports animators conduct yoga and exercises (Alenka, hello! 😀) and take anyone who has a desire to dance to the disco every evening. Every evening we went to Soho Square for a walk - a singing fountain, a bunch of the most beautiful areas for photos, shops, restaurants, street musicians - all this creates a unique relaxing atmosphere. I definitely want to come back!!! Thank you!

I read the reviews and am outraged by the dissatisfied ones. Some chose the second line, and then are indignant that the sea is far away. Some chose the second line, and then are indignant that the sea is far away. Others came to the reef with a small child and were dissatisfied with the lack of sandy entry into the sea. Still others are looking for European-quality renovation... Well, oh well. Now about the good and the not so good.

If it were a 5, I would give 9, but for a 4, I would give 10 points. Now I understand that the stars don’t talk about anything. This is my first vacation in 4. Before this (5 different hotels) only 5's.

To be honest, I didn’t want to go to Egypt anymore. The sea is good, but “racial discrimination” bothered me terribly. When they jump towards the Arabs and Europeans, but they don’t seem to notice you. And every year this was expressed more and more clearly. But my wife made a gift for her anniversary (although I insisted on a restaurant) and she was right (although I chose the hotel, not by chance, and not based on reviews).

Staff

The staff is great. Most likely, the work of the Hilton chain management is taking its toll. 6 years ago I vacationed at Hilton Waterfalls - everything was also great. Absolutely no discrimination. There is no distribution by color of the bracelet - Europeans have one color, the post-Soviet space another. Arabs and children have yellow bracelets (without alcohol). Everything is first come, first served at bars and restaurants. Many are indignant that they only gave one glass at the bar. I was the only one who saw this! times at large cluster people at the beach bar. But this was most likely due to a shortage of glasses. And so that it would be enough for everyone to set such a standard. So sometimes you just need to understand minor inconveniences as a human being.

The cleaning of the rooms is also excellent. They didn’t just make the bed and roll up the elephant, but wet cleaning is carried out. The glass door to the shower room was polished to a mirror shine. Yes, they left a dollar, although this is not at all necessary. But this is not because I wanted high-quality cleaning, but simply for human reasons. After all, workers receive very little money.

Once there was a small incident - they hung only one face towel. To avoid any complaints when checking out, I immediately contacted the reception. They apologized. They said that they did not have time to deliver clean linen from the laundry and that they would fix everything.

I’m not particularly picky about food, so I won’t write too much about it. There were crabs, squid, tuna (although my wife said that she would have cooked better tuna). We always came to eat in the second half. There was always enough. We did not experience any shortage of anything.

Sometimes, of course, you had to wait a little while the table was cleared and set. But believe me, waiters don’t walk around the hall. They run. Maybe the large population had an effect.

I did not visit a la carte restaurants.

Check-in, check-out

We arrived at the hotel at 8 am. According to the rules, check-in is at 14.00, but we were checked in at 11.

The flight was in the evening. No one took off the bracelets after the number was handed over, so you can freely use the bars. We left towels until leaving the hotel.

Territory

The territory, of course, is inferior to the previous hotels in size (I’m talking about the 1st line. On the second line there is a large area with a huge, but shallow, 110cm pool). Quite densely built up. But on every free plot everything is planted with greenery.

Swimming pools

There seem to be 4 of them. One with water slide. But deep, 195cm, only in the central one. The loud music in the central pool was a little annoying, but after a couple of days I got used to it and even dozed off to it.

Excellent, spacious room with a good bathroom. Maybe, of course, we came across one.

I won’t describe all the other advantages because... they are in previous reviews. And even so the text turned out to be big.

Now about the minuses (and this is the only one). Hotel management, if you read my review, pay attention to the cleaning of the beach in the coastal area. In the mornings, during high tide, “traces of cultural recreation"pigs in human form. Cigarette butts (although there are ashtrays), plastic and paper cups, etc. Honestly, it was painful to look at this spectacle when this “mixture” was floating above the pontoon in crystal clear water. Where it goes after that, I don’t know. Maybe they catch it with a net. I would remove the sun loungers and umbrellas from there. Maybe the “tourists” wouldn’t mess up like that.

There is a good saying: “You can take a person out of a village, but you can’t take the village out of a person.” Residents rural areas, if you are not the kind of pigs who leave behind mountains of garbage, then this is not about you. Believe me, there are many more of these in the city.

This is my 6th visit to Sharm. All in different hotels. Not because it was bad there, but it’s just my nature to try something new. But this is the hotel I will most likely return to.

Rested with friends on a wonderful Egyptian resort Sharm el-Sheikh, at the Hilton Sharks Hotel. We really liked this hotel. Built in oriental style, it has many picturesque arches and flowers. The hotel also has a very large and well-kept area. From there you can go straight to a large sandy beach. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. We checked in quickly and were immediately offered lunch in a large restaurant. The hotel restaurant is decorated in light colors with columns. Pleasant music is playing in the hall, and it is at this moment that you realize that you have come here to relax. This hotel has several restaurants, bars and a terrace. The food there is varied and very satisfying. There is a large selection of meat and fish dishes, fresh vegetables and tropical fruits. Alcoholic drinks there are mainly paid for. But most of all we liked the Red Sea. It was precisely for him that we came there. The sea bottom is a little rocky. It was here, on sunbeds under an umbrella, on the beach, that our main vacation took place. And it was worth coming here!

Hello! At the end of February we vacationed with friends in Sharm el-Sheikh, at the Hilton Sharks hotel. The hotel is cozy, with a large and well-kept area, palm trees growing all around different types and heights. Checking in was quick; the guy at the reception offered us three rooms to choose from. Naturally, we chose an apartment with a sea view. The rooms here are spacious and bright. There is air conditioning, a hairdryer and a TV - everything worked properly. But the plumbing was a little worn out.
The hotel has a sandy white well-groomed beach with a gentle descent into the water. Sometimes there are sharp stones at the bottom. The beach is equipped with free umbrellas and sun loungers. There was also a bar here, where in the midst of a hot day we drank cold beer and delicious fruit cocktails. Occasionally some spots floated in the sea, but they did not bother us. We ate at the hotel restaurant. In the evenings they liked to besiege the lobby bar and, of course, the night disco bar. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly; in general, we have not seen such a sensitive attitude towards guests for a long time. We tried all the services provided by the hotel: a sauna and some kind of oil massage. After such procedures, it’s as if I’ve lost 5-7 years. In general, there is a lot of entertainment on site: Gym and tennis for an additional fee. We received real pleasure and bliss from our vacation.

We vacationed in October 2015 together with my mother. The hotel is located near the airport (but there are almost no planes visible and absolutely no sound), on the route of the bus Hilton was the first, so the journey took about 10 minutes. We arrived at the hotel at 08:30, and received the bracelets with a fight at 11:00 (as we They explained at the reception that we are not entitled to breakfast (why, it is not clear (in all hotels they always give bracelets upon entry immediately, even if check-in is from 14:00). We wandered around the territory, went for a swim (sleepy and hungry, the room, naturally, had to wait until 14:00). Initially, they tried to accommodate us twice on the second line, although my preference was the usual standard on the first line, except for the first floor. When the conversation started to get louder, the administrator suddenly immediately found a room in the main building on the first line. Room 1042 (4th floor) - an excellent room with modern furniture, a large plasma TV with USB, a modern bathroom (with a shower) The room even had bathrobes and slippers (we asked other vacationers - they didn’t have them. There was also an ironing board and. iron. There is a hairdryer in the closet under the TV (we didn’t find it right away). From the terrace there is a view partly of the pool, partly even of the sea. 5 minutes walk to the sea. Having achieved our goal, we calmed down and forgot this misunderstanding. The next morning, arriving at the sea before breakfast around 07:00, we were surprised - free seats there was almost none!!! The beach is extremely small for the number of rooms! The sun loungers are 60 percent old and sagging, new mattresses need to be dealt with at 05-05:30 in the morning. I understand everything, but this is overkill. As a result, my mother went at 05:30 and took the sunbeds, but after 3-4 days there were more places, apparently there were more rooms available. In restaurants, there was always a queue at the start of lunch and dinner, but we got used to going not to the beginning, but about 40 minutes later (when the hungriest were already full))). For dinner we always went to the second line - there is really more choice, the dishes are tastier and there are tables on the street, where, in addition to everything, they cooked food on the grill. There, near the tables in the evenings, there were various performances - dances, songs, etc. The second line was mainly inhabited by the British and Arabs. Russians are mostly young people. There weren’t very many families with children, since the hotel is not intended for families with children, there is almost no children’s menu, the beach has a lot of stairs, and the hotel itself is uphill and downhill, you can’t run with a stroller. In the restaurant on the first line, the food was quite mediocre, although everyone says that everything is the same in Egypt - for me, it was tastier in many hotels - in the albatrosses of Hurghada, in Makadi, for example. There were freshly squeezed juices, but you had to press them yourself... I didn’t want to bother. The fish are generally a problem, just fatty sole and that’s it, there was almost no fruit, I saw guava a couple of times, sliced bananas a couple of times and half-green oranges and green melon. Mostly apples. On the second day of our stay, the wiring in the room shorted and every few minutes something exploded in the ceiling. We turned to the reception for help, went there 4 times in the evening, and were afraid to enter the room. Again I had to raise my voice, only after that a guy like an electrician came...without tools. He picked something in the ceiling and called for help. They only fixed it the next day. In a word, this hotel has a good area, as a plus - the proximity of Soho Square, and the weak points are the reception staff and cleaners (there is no cleaning - either in the rooms or in the toilets on the territory - tips were always left, but the cleaning is still unimportant and swans they didn’t make crocodiles) and small beach(you need to update the sun loungers and buy new towels - many are old and torn in places), but the food for four is basically okay.

Sea, Soho, heat 50 degrees

We rested in this hotel with my husband for May holidays. We lived on the first line, near one of the children's pools. The first line is very green, close to the sea, the beaches are multi-level, there were a lot of sun loungers, but not all of them were equipped with normal mattresses and umbrellas. The pontoon is 20 meters long, the corals are beautiful, there are various fish, but we didn’t see any turtles or moray eels. I liked the work of the animation team, the guys actively invited me to various events (stretching, exercises, dancing, water polo, evening shows). The room is really old and shabby: somewhat shabby furniture, air conditioning with a strong freon smell, a creaky lock on the door. The cleaning was not always done well; we had to check the availability of bottled water and towels in the bathroom after almost every cleaning. I was pleased with the food at the hotel, it was plentiful and varied, although some fresh fruit would have been nice. Sometimes the familiar attitude of the waiters during dinner or lunch was annoying. The hotel is close to Soho, you can walk for a couple of evenings, but then you get bored. Overall, we had a good rest, but from a hotel of this class you expect better attitude and service.

the first of three hotels, which was checked in upon arrival at 9 a.m. without any questions or additional payments, the bracelets were put on at 11. Perhaps due to the small number of tourists, although last year in Melia, despite the same situation, they categorically did not check in at 1 p.m. . The overall impression was good, only the picture was spoiled by vacationing Arabs... But we were going to the sea, fish, corals, and for the first time we saw stingrays that live there in the reefs next to the pontoon. The child was delighted. The beach is small, but it’s all in the hotel description, we knew where we were going. But there are several levels of sun loungers on the rocks, there were few people, so sunbathe wherever you want, there were no problems with that. Towels were available on cards both on the beach and by the pool. On the penultimate day, the child lost his card near the pool, they couldn’t find it, so they just gave us a towel (the staff was loyal, we didn’t have any hostility with anyone). At each pool and on the beach there is a lifeguard all day watching the swimmers, but at 18-00 swimming ends.. There is a slide in the children's pool, adults can also go down it, but it is small and works from morning to evening. And also about the sea - for the first time we encountered jellyfish there. The food is very monotonous, on the fifth day I already wanted something new. Delicious fish, cheeses, beef. From fruits - dates, oranges, bananas, grapefruits, apples... but everything is cut. Baking in the morning, desserts at lunch and dinner. At the end of our stay, a refrigerator with ice cream appeared for dinner in the restaurant, which you could put into disposable cups yourself. And during the day they served ice cream on a stick by the pool, white in chocolate. In the bar near the beach after lunch they prepared French fries and sandwiches with tuna and corn, and you could also take chips. The juices were both in packages and in UPI. Number. We were given a room in the reception building, right next to the pool. The room is small, in terms of cleanliness...yes, like everywhere else in Egypt, probably)) the floors were wiped every day, but not under the cabinet) the bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked, there was even Russian TNT and Ukrainian 2+2 on TV . In the room there was a kettle, a hairdryer, coffee sticks, cream, sugar, and water were replenished every day. There were a lot of mosquitoes! On the first night we slept with the balcony open, we were bitten from head to toe, this was the first time. The area is green, many palm trees with dates, flowering bushes. From central entrance a bus goes to the beach every half hour, although it takes 5 minutes to walk there) it will be interesting for children to ride. We chose the Canyon and Ras Mohamed excursions. We booked the bus on the website medaliontours.com via Viber, and also discussed all the details; the representative of the site is very pleasant and responsible, I highly recommend it to you. Animation....there is practically none...in the morning and afternoon, water polo, aqua aerobics, darts , gymnastics, and in the evening after the children's disco, longing...it’s impossible to sit through karaoke for a long time, once we waited for yoga or whatever they are called, that they walk on glass. In general, those who crave fun will be disappointed. But you can go to Soho Square, it’s a 7-minute walk from the hotel. There are nightclubs, a singing fountain (I expected more, they just turn on the fountain to music with lighting), it is turned on for 15 minutes after 21-00. There are also shops, cafes, very beautiful figurines along the square. But prices in Soho are slightly higher than in stores closer to the hotel and in the hotel itself. general impression remained good, pleasant and positive instructors. In general, the holiday was a success. We tanned and swam. The main thing is a good attitude, and not to find fault with all the little things.

Having arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh, all tourists can’t wait to check into a hotel as soon as possible and dive into the gentle waves of the Red Sea. Already at the airport, vacationers begin to look around, dreaming that the transfer to their place of residence will take place as soon as possible. The most impatient even choose a hotel as close as possible to the place of arrival, in Sharks Bay. This area of Sharm el-Sheikh is located just 5 km from the airport, so the journey to its hotels is quick. But this is not the main advantage of Shark Bay (this is how the name is translated). The main thing is a real coral paradise, which a tourist finds himself in by simply going out to any of the beaches of the bay. If you've dreamed of seeing colorful fish and coral reefs, snorkeling to your heart's content and making your first dives underwater, Sharks Bay is your choice!

Shopping and shops

For the convenience of tourists in Sharm el-Sheikh, literally everything has been thought out. Each district of the city has its own entertainment, shops, souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants in addition to hotel ones. In Sharks Bay, the vast majority of such establishments are located in Soho Square (sometimes our compatriots call it Soho Square). It is located near large hotels(near Savoy and Four Seasons) and is a huge shopping and entertainment center, perhaps one-story and under open air. All traditional souvenirs, from papyri to towels, can be bought in the local shops. True, prices there are slightly higher than in Naama Bay, so many tourists prefer to shop there and have fun in Soho.

Beaches of Sharks Bay

The beaches in this bay are amazing. Real coral plateaus start from the very shore and extend quite far into the sea. Therefore, most of the beaches in the bay are equipped with pontoon bridges that extend beyond the reefs. You will go on it, put on a mask and snorkel and go ahead, explore the underwater jungle. Although the clear water of Aulya Bay makes it easy to see an amazing amount of marine life just from the pontoon. On some beaches, special paths for children have been cleared for safe and comfortable entry into the water, but, nevertheless, swimming in Sharks Bay is not for children. Even at high tide, you won’t be able to swim above the corals on the circle; you’ll either have to enter the water from a pontoon or confine yourself to hotel pools.

A little about the organization of the beaches themselves. The entire coast of the bay is divided into hotel sectors, which are monitored by the staff of the adjacent hotel. Many of them are located on hills and their beaches are organized on terraces. Naturally, the first line of sun loungers is the most popular. To occupy it you have to get up early or buy your place. Beach workers occupy sunbeds for “booked” vacationers. Recently, the number of hotels where staff earn extra money in this way has been growing. In fairness, it should be noted that you will always find a place on the beach, you just need to indicate that you are a guest of this hotel.

Free buses and golf carts with awnings go to all beaches from second-line hotels. The walk is not long, 15-20 minutes maximum, but in the heat, especially after warming up in the sun, returning back to the room on your own two feet is not very pleasant.

Popular hotels in Sharks Bay

Entertainment and attractions in Sharks Bay

What can you do to entertain yourself in Sharks Bay, besides hotel animation? You can use the hotel's sports fields and courts, visit the sauna or steam room (in many hotels these are free for their guests), take a course of spa treatments and massages (here you will have to pay extra). You can always go have fun in Soho: watch a historical film in Russian or a feature film in English in a cinema, ride on an indoor skating rink, sit in a bar or at a light and music fountain. Or go to Naama Bay (15 km from Sharks Bay), which never sleeps. Almost all hotels have free bus, carrying tourists back and forth.

Diving in Sharks Bay

Snorkeling fans love Sharks Bay for the opportunity to watch every day undersea world in all its glory. Even the abundance of vacationers does not scare away the fish, among which you can easily find large Napoleons, stingrays and dangerous lionfish, surgeon fish, and moray eels. Therefore, no matter how tempting it may seem, do not try to touch the sea inhabitants with your hands.

If you have long dreamed of diving, there is no better place to acquire the necessary skills. There are dive centers at every hotel; experienced instructors will teach you the basics of the skill and accompany you on the dive. You can literally dive from the shore, there are practically no currents, the average depth is about 20 m, visibility is excellent (the same 20 m). Well, there is something to see! There are vast sand canyons, varied vegetation, and coral jungles with their inhabitants. More experienced divers can go on night dives that are even more spectacular.
