But technology does not stand still.

About a year ago, I discovered information on the foreign Internet that it is not at all necessary to use your own credit cards to make purchases or online reservations; moreover, virtual cards are not needed for this. Now you just need to use a special software code that will generate a credit card number for you.

Over the course of a year, I tested the effectiveness of this system on various booking services for hotels, apartments and apartments (Booking, Agoda, airbnb, etc.) and I can confidently say that the method works 100%.

The bottom line is that each payment system (VISA, MasterCard, etc.) has certain algorithms for constructing a card number. It is this number that is validated in the payment system to determine whether such a card can be issued within a certain payment system, for example, VISA. The remaining block of data - the validity period of the card, the holder's first/last name and the CVV code confirming the transaction - are checked only at the time of the immediate payment, which means they have no bearing on the booking procedure.

This is the basis of the principle of using this method, which will now allow you to book any hotels, apartments, apartments, hostels and other accommodation online on any service (agoda, etc.) without using your own credit/debit card.

There is only one condition for such a reservation - you must make the reservation; services that require instant payment (for example, airbnb) will not accept the software-generated card code, since it has never actually existed in the payment card system.

And then everything is simple. At the beginning of the article, you already noticed the names of payment systems, each of which has its own card number. Each time the page is refreshed, the data is updated and a new card number will be generated.

When making your next reservation, you simply take the generated VISA, MasterCard or other required payment system number from this article and enter it in the payment data section. The remaining data is filled in arbitrarily - you can specify any first/last name of the cardholder, any card validity period within five years from the date on which you use this card and any CVV code.

Here the generated VISA credit card is entered and the remaining values ​​are arbitrarily added. And, voila, the reservation was successfully completed, and my money is completely safe - after all, I did not leave any data in the system real cards or bills. In addition, you can save the generated card in your profile and continue to use it for subsequent bookings. And if at some point any hotel validates the card in an attempt to withdraw money and reports that it is not valid, you simply generate new map and put it back into the system - it’s much faster and easier than releasing it virtual card and a hundred times safer than using a real credit card.

You can be sure that your booking is confirmed to all standards using a "valid" card number, but with you will never be charged until you decide that the stay is worth paying for. In addition, you will not lose money if you suddenly forget to cancel your reservation, and it turns out to be subject to penalties, because if you cancel such a reservation, it will simply be impossible to collect a fine, since real payment information is not entered into the system.

It is worth noting that I personally recommend not to abuse the last point (cancellation of a reservation with a fine). If you are no longer going to a particular hotel, make sure to cancel your reservation so that the hotel can sell that room. After all, someone may need it more, and the hotel will not lose money due to idle rooms, which means it will not have a reason to inflate prices for other rooms to compensate for losses.

Otherwise, I recommend this method for use. In our information age, when personal data regularly leaks online, using a card number generator is a great way to protect your funds from any attacks. And yet, it’s simply fast and convenient.

What can you find out about a hotel on its personal Booking page?

Add a little more information about yourself (emergency phone number and method of communication with you). How does payment work on Booking?

Technically, the procedure for withdrawing money from your card looks like this.

Once your booking is complete, the hotel sends a request to your bank via Booking.com to withdraw funds from your card. If at the time of application there is not enough money on your card, the bank rejects this application, the hotel reports to Booking that payment has not been received, and your reservation is cancelled.
