El Prat Airport ( as of November 2015) consists of terminals:

Currently, T1, built in 2009, serves about 70% of all flights. The terminal is capable of receiving up to 50 million passengers per year and receiving/departing up to 90 aircraft per hour. T1 has 3 levels (floors):

Baggage claim takes place on the ground floor of Terminal 1. Trains and buses from the airport depart on the 1st floor. Also on the 1st floor there are flights from Barcelona to Madrid.

In terminal T1 there is a VIP area - entrance is 25 euros per person.

Terminal 2 is divided into three zones: A, B, C. After the opening of terminal T1, T2 is used only by some airlines. Arrivals/departures to terminal 2 are carried out by low-cost airlines (low-cost airlines) and airlines operating charter flights to Spain. All Russian airlines, with the exception of Aeroflot, fly in/out from/to terminal 2 (see table for details).
