They are not available at all stops, and drivers do not sell tickets. So this has to be taken into account.

You can also buy an SMS ticket for 70 minutes for 1 euro - send an SMS to number 1100. Local transport

All cities in Slovakia are provided with an excellent bus network, but in the outback and villages the bus service is not so well established. Bratislava and Kosice also have trams.

Public transport usually operates from 4:30 am to 11:30 pm daily.
City transport tickets are suitable for all types of public transport: you can use them by tram, bus, and trolleybus.

Tickets for public transport must be purchased at newsstands, because inspectors often visit transport, so if you do not buy a ticket for some reason, you may be fined.

Bicycles
