China has long been considered a land of true wonders. Cultural life The country has long been divided: people leading a traditional way of life remained, and a new, ultra-modern world emerged. For the very recently existing conservative China, such an obvious fact is striking, especially for tourists. Some will drink, dance and sing in nightclubs, while others nearby, as in the old days, honor strict traditions and morals.

In China, as well as in other countries, the most interesting and popular places are located, as a rule, in the very center of the city. This is due to the fact that in this way clubs become recognizable and in demand. In addition, it is quite easy and convenient for visitors to get to them. This applies to such large and developed cities as Shanghai, Beijing, Hong Kong and Macau. Among major cities In China, Hong Kong probably ranks first in terms of the number of nightclubs and entertainment venues. Thanks to its modern pace of life, as well as its highly developed culture and connections with others, major countries Hong Kong is rightfully an ultra-modern city.

Despite the fact that there are quite a lot of different clubs and bars in Hong Kong, prices for entertainment here are not very restrained. Of course, this is not New York or London, but at the same time Hong Kong is the most expensive city China. Most of the city's nightclubs are created in the style of Irish and British clubs, which correspond to live music and wonderful cuisine. Hong Kong also has a sufficient number of establishments where you can dance, including learning some traditional and original dances.

In turn, Hong Kong is quite developed city Asia, which actually has a very vibrant and active life. Hong Kong's nightclubs are considered to be some of the best in all of Asia, suitable for even the most demanding and sophisticated client. You can have a great time in the clubs. However, they all have distinctive features that must be taken into account. I would like to present to your attention best clubs Hong Kong, according to visitors. Night life It's incredibly diverse here. Nightclubs can correspond to pan-European traditions, or, on the contrary, they can play on the Chinese flavor. One way or another, tourists here have something to see and a place to spend time with pleasure. Our selection does not pretend to be absolutely objective, but rather is an overview that can help a tourist get his bearings and go to the club that is closer to his tastes and preferences.

Beijing Club
This club is one of the largest entertainment establishments located on Hong Kong Island, so to speak, in the very heart of the city and its cultural and entertainment center. The club occupies a very large area and three floors of one of the large high-rise buildings. The club is famous for its noisy themed parties, where famous DJs from all over the world perform. This establishment is ideal for recreation of youth groups.

On the ground floor of the club there are VIP rooms, several spacious lounges and two large bars. In addition, there was a large dance floor, which mainly played RnB and hip-hop music. VIP rooms are distinguished by luxurious furnishings and improved service. Here you won't have to queue for a drink at the bar. Moreover, the VIP rooms are generally spacious and free, there is never too much crowding in them. It is best to come here if you come as a couple and want privacy. If, on the contrary, you are looking for new acquaintances, you should pay attention to the common dance floor.

On the next floor of the club there is a very attractive balcony, that is, here visitors can spend time in the open air, enjoying pleasant and relaxing music. There is also a small bar where visitors can order refreshing drinks. The recreation area is equipped with LED lighting, which is the brightest spot in this room, as it is made using various colorful shades. Everyone who visits this club is very impressed by this technology.

And finally, the last floor occupied by the club is luxury, as world-famous DJs perform here and there is an amazing restaurant. The entire hall is also equipped with lighting. In general, lighting is everywhere in this club: on the walls, on the floor, and even on the furniture. It is on this floor that many rich and famous people Hong Kong celebrates holidays and various events.

The club is open from Monday to Friday, starting at 20:00. It finishes its work at approximately 5 o'clock in the morning, when all visitors leave. There are a lot of girls in this club, since entry is absolutely free for them. As for men, they will have to pay an average of HK$300 for entry; the price directly depends on the day of the week on which the club is visited.

In the establishment, you can pre-occupy several tables or even an entire floor in order to celebrate any celebration. At the same time, you will be served by highly qualified waiters and bartenders who will make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Dragon-I
This club is also located on Hong Kong Island and is quite large in terms of area. Its distinctive feature is that the interior of the room is decorated in a traditional style, quite popular among world designers and architects. All walls, floors, and furniture inside are made of exclusive materials, largely replicating either the color or skin of the dragon. That is why red-colored items trimmed with leather mainly predominate here.

The dragon is a symbol of China, so the theme of these fire-breathing snakes, used in the decor of nightclubs, is not at all surprising. This club is worth visiting, first of all, for those who want to experience China around them as fully as possible. Of course, young people have a completely different attitude towards all Chinese symbols and dragons, but a certain spirit, an atmosphere of distant, exotic country is saved.

The entire territory of the club is conventionally divided into three main halls (parts). In the first hall there is a dance floor where you can not only dance, but also have a good time at the small tables located nearby. Behind the dance floor there are rooms intended for VIPs. The second part is entirely dedicated to the terrace, which offers views of the picturesque beauty of the city at night. Also around the entire perimeter you can see cages with live birds, which is quite unusual and interesting. And the third part is completely dedicated to a bar with a rich assortment of drinks.

Exceptionally the best music and the best DJs play in this club, as it works only with recognized and well-known people in the music industry. That is why everyone who comes to this entertainment establishment will not sit on the sidelines, but will dance the whole evening to incendiary compositions. In addition, this club has a wonderful restaurant where visitors can eat even during the day. As a night establishment, it opens at 23:00 and is open until the last visitor.
If you want to combine a noisy party with an exclusive interior, then this establishment is just for you.

You can reserve seats in the restaurant for various celebrations by prior arrangement. However, you should try very hard to get on the list. The fact is that this establishment is very popular, and places for celebrations are reserved several months in advance. Therefore, a simple tourist who comes to Hong Kong for a few days is unlikely to be able to secure a reservation for a large number of places. It will cost too much.

You can get to the club using the metro, since its station (Central) is located in close proximity to the establishment. Of course, you can always take a taxi.

Address: The Centrium, 60 Wyndham Street, Hong Kong Island.

Kee
This club was founded in 2001 in Hong Kong by an Austrian couple. Many professional designers and architects were involved in the design of its interior, making the space truly luxurious, reminiscent of an interior royal palace or castle. The entire space is divided into several separate, distinct rooms (salons). A wide staircase made of unique materials leads visitors into the unique interior of the establishment.

The purple room is decorated in the style of a library, its space is decorated with shelves of books, as well as newspapers and magazines. The green room serves as a dining room as well as a games room where visitors can play poker and other card games. This room is decorated with numerous paintings from own collection club. The living room is designed in the style of the early 20th century. There is a small bar where you can buy soft and alcoholic drinks. The red room is intended for business and confidential negotiations, therefore it is decorated exclusively in a business style.

In addition, the club has a large dance floor that can accommodate a sufficient number of people. Basically, here you can hear modern and incendiary music, to which young people really have a blast. On the dance floor you will find not only high-quality music, but also very stylish lighting. This club is famous for its high-tech lighting: powerful laser guns, various spotlights, a fog generator, etc. Therefore, the dance floor gives you the opportunity to lose yourself in the music, get into the rhythm and feel yourself inside the next DJ composition.

And only the best and most professional DJs are invited here. Despite some intimacy and the not very large size of the establishment, they do not skimp on good music. Sometimes it is better to listen to good DJs in such a small establishment, without unnecessary crowds and fuss. Moreover, the pricing policy of this establishment is very democratic.

The Kee Club is designed specifically for people who want to keep abreast of all the events of the city at night, and who also do not want to sit at home. Each visit to such an establishment is different from the previous one, thanks to which the club never ceases to be interesting and unique for visitors. Plus, with private rooms available, you can pre-book one to host your own private party without the presence of others.

In addition, it can boast of a chic restaurant, whose chefs serve real masterpieces of culinary art.
To visit this club there is an annual subscription, the cost of which is about NK$ 11,000, but you can also purchase a VIP card, for which a monthly visit to the club is NK$ 900. The club is open on weekdays from 18:00, on weekends from 20:00 until the morning. You can also get to the club by using the metro.

The Volar Club opened its doors to exclusive visitors in 2004. It fully corresponds to the hip-hop direction. The entire interior of the club is decorated with ultra-modern materials and objects. There are plasmas hanging everywhere, from which images come from various areas of the club. This establishment is suitable for active young people who love to dance and enjoy modern music.

In the center of the club there is a large bar with a round bar counter, where a large number of visitors gather to drink the various drinks on offer. What makes it special is that there is music in every corner thanks to well-placed high-quality speakers. Unlike many other clubs, visitors leaving the dance floor do not have the feeling that they have “fallen out” of the process; the music sounds just as high quality to them. The bar has great amount various drinks, and professional bartenders are ready to please you with the most exquisite cocktails.

In addition, the club has a very interesting dance floor, surrounded by cute leather sofas, where famous guests of the club also sometimes perform. Here you can take a break from active dancing, relax and have a good time watching the colorful crowd.

That is, if you are more interested in music than dancing, then the Volar club is completely suitable and meets your expectations. And the large dance floor makes the space truly club-like. The guest policy at this club is not that strict compared to most other elite clubs, and here you can run into some very famous people.

The club is open both on weekdays and on weekends. At the same time, the opening time of the club is from Tuesday to Friday - 18 hours, on Saturday - 20 hours. Sunday and Monday are days off.

In addition, to get into the club, you need to purchase tickets in advance; for this you need to either call or come to the club a day in advance. This is due to the fact that the owner of the club makes sure that all visitors feel comfortable, which is why the number of seats is limited.

Yumla
Initially, this club was nothing more than a small establishment where visitors could drink a couple of glasses of alcohol. However, over time, it has undergone a number of transformations and modernizations, as a result of which it has rightfully become one of the most popular nightclubs in Hong Kong.

Now Yumla is a small club located in the very center of Hong Kong, which is a kind of leader in musical terms. Here you can dance to underground club music every day. It was thanks to the excellent musical taste of the club’s administration that they managed to turn a small establishment into a very popular party among underground connoisseurs. As you know, the basis of any nightclub is its visitors. That’s why this club is interesting precisely because of its contingent: people gather here interesting people, who understand music and have a good time.

The main place in the concept of this establishment is given exclusively to music, which sounds everywhere here. In addition, the music played in this club corresponds to completely different directions, thanks to which every visitor will feel as comfortable and fun as possible. DJs are invited here different directions, so it’s worth keeping a close eye on the poster. As a rule, the repertoire changes once or twice a week, so it is enough to visit the website of a given club to get an idea of what is expected in the near future.

For those who are not very well versed in music, the club offers an excellent bar, where they certainly know a lot about alcoholic drinks. Bartenders prepare unique cocktails that often amaze with the unusualness of their taste. Considering the location of the establishment, its prices can be considered very fair. At the bar, visitors will get acquainted with the huge range of drinks and cocktails on offer, which usually cost about $15-20. However, the bar hosts various promotions. Of course, you won’t be able to save much, since nightclubs, by definition, are not a place to save money, but these promotions will help you have fun and feel the excitement.

It is also worth noting the most important rules visiting this club. Visitors over 21 years of age are allowed into it. As for clothing, it should not be particularly pretentious and solemn - in a word, such that it would be very comfortable to dance and move in it. On weekdays, entry to the club is free for absolutely all visitors. On Friday and Saturday, admission for non-members is NK$100, which also includes one drink of your choice at no additional charge. If you prove yourself to be a polite and well-mannered visitor, and also come to the club often, this gives you the right to become an honorary member. This title, in turn, allows you to participate in many promotions and receive special discounts.

You can get to the club on your own using a taxi.
Address: 79 Wyndham Street, Hong Kong Island.

FINDS
This club is most popular among a mature audience, since its main focus is not on the volume and popularity of music and dancing, but solely on creating an atmosphere that encourages visitors to communicate. It is in this club that very important work negotiations and parties are held in order to conclude contracts and acquire useful contacts and necessary acquaintances.
That is why the interior of such an establishment is made in a rather conservative and calm Scandinavian style, which is characterized by a predominance of light, calm shades and simple-shaped furniture. There is no bright lighting here, which only distracts attention. However, at the same time, the interior of this club is very expressive and unique, and also fully corresponds to the status of the people who come to it.

An important advantage of this establishment is also that it is located in the central part of the city, thanks to which you can easily get to it by taxi and just as easily then to your home. Location is a fairly important factor, especially for tourists. Agree, no one wants to get to the outskirts of an unfamiliar metropolis. This is especially true in Hong Kong, since Chinese characters are completely incomprehensible to tourists.

The main audience of this establishment are mature people who consider themselves wealthy and business-minded.
Of course, you need to reserve seats at the club in advance, and its experienced professional managers will help you choose the appropriate menu for the holiday that meets all your needs, even the most pampered and demanding ones.
As for the prices for the services of such an establishment, they fully correspond to the status, and only very wealthy people can afford to spend time there. However, it is worth it, since as a result, visitors manage to combine work moments with a very cultural and interesting pastime.

Zenses Cristal Bar
It is actually a unique establishment due to the fact that its main attraction is the very unusual design of the interior space. The club seems to be specially created for fastidious visitors who have seen a lot and who simply have nothing to surprise them with. A modern nightclub is, first of all, style and atmosphere. Sophisticated partygoers and nightlife lovers are accustomed to sophisticated designs and unusual solutions, so it’s becoming more and more difficult to surprise the audience. In this regard, this establishment can offer an outlandish interior to even the most demanding visitors.

All walls are decorated with bright paintings of abstract forms, behind which each visitor sees something different, depending on his own imagination, thinking and lifestyle. That is, the interior is so unique that you will want to come here again and again. It is as if you are transported to a mythical and fantastic world of adventure. The colors are chosen in such a way that they do not irritate or bother you at all. What is especially interesting is that different parts of the establishment are decorated completely differently, so even when visitors return here after previous visits, they can discover something new. Often people bring friends to show them the decorative elements that surprised them.

However, this is not all that the owners of the Zenses Cristal Bar club can surprise their visitors with. There are lighting elements around the entire perimeter, additionally decorated with crystals. Swarowski, which you can admire just sitting at a table with a glass of good wine. This design classifies the establishment as status and important. This craving for “brilliance” is also transmitted to visitors. You can meet some truly brilliant young people here. Girls, going to this club, try to dress stylishly and beautifully, so that the radiance of the surroundings does not overshadow their own radiance. Therefore, for those who like to plunge into the world of female beauty, this is another reason to go to this club.

The dance floor is also decorated in bright colorful colors. The tiles used on it light up when you step on it, which is also quite interesting and funny. This special effect makes the dance more vibrant and impressive. The entire dance floor seems to come to life under the feet of the dancers. Coming out onto such a platform, you get the impression that you are standing on the surface of an ocean of music.

That is, based on the above, we can conclude that this club is mainly suitable for connoisseurs of extraordinary solutions in the design of the club, as well as those who want to have a great time, but at the same time without excessive activity. The prices of such an establishment can hardly be called affordable, which is why important people visit it by appointment, since the number of seats is strictly limited.

Club FLY

The FLY club is very unusual, like most establishments of this type in Hong Kong. Its interior combines wood intertwined with greenery and flowers, and simply disposes its visitors to lightness and sublimity. In addition, a one-night stay at this club will give you a big dose of adrenaline thanks to the huge dance floor with bright lighting.

The atmosphere of lightness and airiness is also consistent with the predominance of glass in interior decoration, and this applies to both decoration and furniture. This club is ideal for connoisseurs of electronic music in all its forms. The glass interior creates a feeling of transparency and openness. There are not many quiet corners and secret places where you can retire, everything is in plain sight. And for some, this is only a plus, since they do not want to hide, but, on the contrary, like to be in the spotlight.

The second hall of the club is located in such a way that the effect of listening to music is enhanced thanks to all kinds of amplifiers and converters. The entire interior space is decorated with lighting. Only professional DJs work here, whose skills and professionalism are recognized throughout the world. In addition, the club is located in one of central regions city, making it possible to get into it only by pre-booking tickets.

Mostly people come here who want to relieve negativity, stress or get rid of the tension of the work day. And they do it quite well. Here you can completely abandon your boring worries and troubles and lose yourself in high-quality electronic music. The absence of oppressive interior elements, its cleanliness and lightness allow you to relax better and more calmly. This club does not shape the mood of visitors, but helps them discover their own essence.

It is worth noting that the club is closed on Monday. From Tuesday to Friday it opens its doors to visitors from 17:00, and on Saturday from 21:00. The average entrance ticket costs NK$200.

Tribeca
Tribeca is actually one of the largest entertainment complexes in Hong Kong. The club occupies a very vast territory (about 8000 sq. m), which includes several halls. The first room of the club that greets visitors is a small hall with a dance floor located in the center. Here you can mainly dance to the fiery rhythms of hip-hop and R&B. Behind it, through an area with curved walls, is the next room, in which there is a bar 8 meters long, at the counter of which 30 people can safely sit at the same time. In addition, when passing by the bar, it is impossible not to notice the largest dance floor of this club.

This club is mainly suitable for amateurs active rest accompanied by dancing and singing. That is, we can say that the regular customers of this establishment are mainly young people, since this is where they can have a blast. Electronic music predominates here, although performers of “live” instrumental compositions are often invited. The policy of the administration of this club is to select only the most popular musicians. Much attention is paid to the reaction of the public itself. That is, the performer’s rating is determined not by abstract scales, but by the reaction of the particular club’s audience to his work.

Tribeca is the so-called "Asian brother" of the club of the same name, but located in New York. The walls and bar counter in this club are covered with luxurious panels made of natural amber, trimmed with crystals for greater pomp. Two VIP recreation areas are located on the club’s territory. Their significant difference, and at the same time an advantage, is that they are raised above the main level of the common area, and are also separated from the common space using plastic partitions. The third zone is the so-called living room, furnished with dark leather furniture. Jazz music lovers usually spend their time here. When describing such a club, it is worth mentioning that its art director is Silvio Wang, a truly legendary figure in the world of organizing parties and celebrations, which is at least one of the reasons to visit this club at least once. It is thanks to him that the most famous and fashionable DJs in the world spin records in Tribeca.

Before visiting the club, please note that it has a certain dress code. You should come to the club exclusively in festive and at the same time formal clothes. On Sundays it hosts a themed party with salsa dancing. In addition, on Thursday, admission is free for all girls.

No less interesting and attractive in Hong Kong is the Makumba club. A distinctive feature of this night spot is the African music constantly playing within its walls. Accordingly, the interior fully corresponds to this, that is, fairly bright colors and shades and national musical instruments predominate. The skins of wild animals, mainly leopards, are hung on the walls. For those who are tired of dancing, there are quite attractive and comfortable leather sofas, as well as traditional daybeds with silk pillows, just in safari style. In this club, visitors have a rather bright time and also gain skills in the dances of the peoples of Africa, which is quite good for diversified development.

Thus, this nightclub is suitable for connoisseurs of African tribal art, as well as for those who like a fairly intense and informal pastime. Some may find it a little strange to listen to African music in Hong Kong, but there is something blatantly exotic about it. Agree, this is exoticism squared: being in a club where African music is playing, and you are surrounded by Chinese faces.

It should also be noted that visitors who come to national costumes, privileges are granted, first of all, free entry, as well as the opportunity to choose a drink at the expense of the establishment.
This establishment is open daily from 19 pm.

This club is perhaps the most closed in Hong Kong, thanks to which it attracts visitors like a magnet. All this can be explained by the fact that local celebrities like to spend time there, whom ordinary city residents and tourists simply dream of meeting. A certain feature is that the club uses neon for lighting, that is, red lighting. At first glance it may seem that this is irritating to the eyes, but in fact it has a very beneficial effect on visitors. At the same time, visitors are pleased with very pleasant music in the style of house, R&B and Latino. Everyone can dance and relax here. After energetic dancing, those who wish can go to the bar, where there are velvet sofas where you can retire, isolating yourself from prying eyes with the help of a curtain.

The demand for this club among celebrities is explained by its very attractive interior, combined with an excellent music selection, as well as the ability to host important events and meetings, for which a noisy environment is not suitable. Fashion also plays an important role: this moment this club is simply fashionable among the elite and bohemians, which is why they prefer to hang out here. Fashion is changeable, but at the moment tourists who are lucky enough to visit here can see live the most famous actors and world-famous musicians.

And, of course, only professionals work here who will make your vacation as pleasant and memorable as possible.

Propaganda
Propaganda is the oldest and most famous night disco in Hong Kong. Its main difference is that its doors are also open to sexual minorities. Here visitors can enjoy music various styles and directions. The bar area is decorated with very attractive furnishings that delight visitors. Opposite there is a fairly large dance floor, where a lot of people gather on weekends. In addition, there is a small equipped stage in the room, where dancers and animators perform on holidays and entertain visitors.

Perhaps the attractiveness of this club is largely determined by its affordable prices and good location. In addition, there is no dress code as such. Therefore, anyone can come here without worrying about their appearance at all.
The club is open from Tuesday to Saturday, Sunday and Monday are days off. Moreover, on weekdays the club starts working from 22 o'clock, and on Saturday - from 21 o'clock, no matter how strange it may sound. Well, it works until the last visitor.

The cost of an entrance ticket is on average 200 NK$, it all depends on the time of arrival at the club, usually the later, the more expensive the entrance. I would like to immediately note that there is no need to reserve seats in advance.

From the balcony of this establishment there is a stunning view of the beauty of the city. Besides, local residents They can also watch this establishment directly from the street thanks to the lighting.

This club is most often chosen to host parties necessary for concluding contracts and deals. That is why it is not distinguished by noisy musical accompaniment. The interior of the club is decorated in a fairly simple and strict business style, but at the same time it meets all the requirements of functionality and modernity. Partners can retire to VIP rooms separated from the common room by glass doors.

This club operates mainly on weekdays, which is determined by the specifics and its focus.

Heat
Heat is actually a place that was able to combine several establishments at the same time. First of all, this is actually a stunning chic restaurant, a bar of the same size and a huge nightclub.

The public here is mostly selective, as there are certain requirements that should be taken into account when visiting the club. First of all, this concerns age. Only persons over 25 years old can visit such a club. In addition, under no circumstances should you come to this establishment in sports-style clothing, as they simply will not let you through.

The interior of the club is made in a classic style, in which red, white and black shades predominate, looking very harmonious together.

The decoration is dominated by natural materials, mainly wood. This establishment attracts true connoisseurs of music of various fashion trends. In addition, they periodically host theme nights where you can enjoy live music, which is actually quite attractive. That is why mostly older people gather here.
As for the pricing policy of the establishment, it must be said that the prices here are very high, and there is no need to reserve your visit.

M1NT
This establishment, like many other nightclubs in the city, is located in the center of the metropolis and is quite recognizable.
Here visitors can enjoy a beautiful, ultra-modern interior, as well as well-chosen music. An important feature is that quite often there are performances by local celebrities, which are not difficult to attend. You just need to buy a ticket in advance and you can enjoy a wonderful performance all night long.

A crystal chandelier, striking in its size, is located at the entrance to the club and is already considered almost his business card. In addition, regular visitors know about the presence of a luxurious aquarium, which contains miniature sharks. The spectacle is truly mesmerizing, and for a while visitors have the feeling that they are in a planetarium.

Hong Kong is one of the most important economic centers in Asia and the most expensive cities in the world. In the 19th century it was captured by the British, but was formally rented for 99 years. After the end of the lease, Hong Kong received an autonomous status until the mid-21st century, in which Hong Kongers received the right to govern the region independently, but China took over all defense issues.

Hong Kong is inhabited mainly by Chinese, most of whom are Cantonese. Population is about 7 million people. official languages- English and Cantonese. Cantonese is essentially a dialect of Chinese with similar spellings but different pronunciations.

How to find accommodation in Hong Kong

Housing in Hong Kong is a rather complex issue due to its cost and demand. There is quite a large flow here, including tourists and people who constantly come here on business. In general, it is worth taking care and booking accommodation in advance. As usual, booking.com will help here. aribnb, agoda or any other aggregator.

We personally stopped at a place my brother had trusted, on Causeway Bay, in the very center of the city. This is an ordinary hostel, but most importantly with the Internet. The speed is really not very high, and the work is difficult, but it is possible. Here is the link to it http://www.179.hk/Cusac_Hong_Kong_Hostel_EN.html

You should definitely take a ride on the famous Hong Kong tram and walk around the city center among the skyscrapers.

Junk cruise on Victoria Bay

Or you can take a cheap ferry, that's fine too. The view of the city is very beautiful.

Walking around Hong Kong at night

Hong Kong is one of the must-see cities in the evening.

Temple Street Market Night Market

Souvenirs, snacks, opera singers and fortune tellers - orderly chaos in action.

Lan Kwai Fong

The center of the city's nightlife. There are many clubs and bars, and noisy parties rumble all weekend long.

Nathan Road

It is believed that the best suits in Hong Kong are made on this street. Initially, clothes were sewn in this area for the British living at that time. Today, the cost of rent has driven many out into the back alleys. Walking here you feel like you are in real China.

Tsim Sha Tsui Avenue

Take a walk on the bright side! Walk along coastline, looking at one of the most spectacular city skylines against the backdrop of a shining sky.

Jumbo Kingdom

This is a floating complex with a bunch of restaurants and shops. It is located in Aberdeen Bay, where fishermen historically lived on their junks. They serve Cantonese cuisine, but the cost is considerable. For some reason it is very popular among tourists.

Kowloon Peninsula

Located on the opposite shore, opposite Hong Kong Island. The best way to cross is the Star Ferry, which costs about HK$3. Departs from Pier 7 at Hong Kong Central Terminal and arrives at Tsim Sha Tsui Pier in Kowloon. Kowloon has the most densely populated area in the world.

On the way to the skyscraper observation deck you can go to several parks.

Sky 100 observation deck and high-altitude bar

The observation deck is located on the 100th floor of the skyscraper overlooking Hong Kong and Victoria Bay. A little lifehack is to go to a high-rise bar, which is located in the same building. Yes, expensive, but for the price of a Sky 100 ticket you can easily afford a drink with a view, and there will still be some left over. It's better to arrive early to have room. We arrived just before sunset, in beautiful soft light, and there were no seats by the window. But it was for the better, we ended up just looking and leaving, it turned out to be free. What is worth taking note with this plan is the dress code, you need to look more decent. Usually you need pants and closed shoes, or at least a shirt))

View of the most densely populated area in the world:

Show The Symphony of Lights

In the evening, from the Avenue of Stars you can clearly see the symphony of lights on Hong Kong Island. This action is so attractive that it was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the largest light show in the world. The show starts at 8 pm and only lasts 15 minutes, but it's worth it.

Clock Tower

A beautiful building from the time of the colonization of Hong Kong by the British.

Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong on the Kowloon Peninsula

This is one of the most popular places in Hong Kong. On the embankment there are a large number of sculptures and monuments to Hollywood stars. And it’s not surprising, because Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan came from Hong Kong, as did a number of other actors and directors.

Bamboo scaffolding on a skyscraper))

Cheng Chau Island

If you want to spend a day at the beach center of Hong Kong, you should go to Cheung Chau Island. It's about half an hour away by high-speed catamaran, which departs from the central pier in Hong Kong. It costs about 20 Hong Kong dollars, you can go for 11 on a slow one. This is not for everybody.

The island was originally a fishing island, densely built up, and a huge number of tourists come here during the daytime. There is fairly clean water, many beaches and restaurants.

The cemetery is one of the most difficult problems of island life.

As promised, I’m posting photos of Hong Kong at night. To be honest, I expected more from him. I don’t know why, apparently I expect Chicago from all big cities. In general, of course, like everyone else big cities, Hong Kong lives a completely different life at night, for many this life only begins at night. The Kowloon area has many night markets, late-night eateries and cafes, although many of them are visited almost exclusively by tourists. I don’t like bars-clubs and other establishments, apparently for two reasons - I got drunk while working as a bartender, and I don’t drink alcohol, so I don’t see much point in visiting bars. But I quite like local eateries. Not far from the hostel in the evening I noticed an incredible queue of locals at some drab establishment. I have never seen such queues anywhere else here (except for the cable car to Lantau). She moved quite quickly, and after 20 minutes I was already ordering something for myself, stupidly poking at the pictures, since no one could properly explain to me what was what. After my order was made, it turned out to be duck and rice and some very tasty sweetish sauce. Well, I’ll write about food separately, let’s talk about the night city
Of course, the hallmark of the city is the view of the bay from Victoria Peak. There is a special viewing area (entrance 35 GK bucks). I came up here both day and night. Here's the view from there at night.

Below are more views from this place.
