Palace of the Vasilyev brothers. Luxurious real estate of famous compatriots Who owns the Palace in Vyritsa

Godfather from Vyritsa.

Leningrad region, Vyritsa village, 60 km from St. Petersburg. Our days. On the banks of the Oredezh River there is a house with an area of about 2100 sq.m. Or rather, not a house, but a smaller copy of the Bolshoi Catherine Palace in Tsarskoe Selo (this is where the amber room, baroque, etc.).

Everything inside is cool too. Marble, gold

Vases, chests of drawers

Living room. The height of the ceiling is 14 meters. 5-meter statues in assortment.

Not Carlo Gambino's house, yes.

They are idiots there at Cosa Nostra, what can I say?

House church inside the palace in Vyritsa. The owner is a very God-fearing person. Well, he has something to fear in this regard, let's put it that way.

Also in the palace there are paintings, stained glass windows, mosaic floors made of 19 types of marble, doors made of tortoiseshells (!), stucco molding, forging and walnut wood carvings. According to conservative estimates, finishing of this level costs 40-50 thousand euros per square. Those. We are talking about an estate worth 100 million euros.

Personal helicopter of the owner of the palace in Vyritsa on the site in front of the house:

He flies on it to St. Petersburg. On business. The helicopter usually takes off in Vyritsa and lands on the lawn near Peter and Paul Fortress, right in the city center. There, the owner of the palace is transferred to a motorcade with guards.

Back - the same way. Cortege-helicopter-palace.

The owner prefers expensive cars, supercars. In this case, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for 2 million euros. In my opinion, there are only two of these in Russia (the second is Kadyrov’s).

And this is the owner of the palace driving a Lamborghini Reventon (1.4 million euros) in the center of St. Petersburg:

On a Rolls-Royce (he has several of them, his favorite car):

On the unique “Maserati MS 12” along Nevsky...

Who is this oligarch from Vyritsa with helicopters and Rolls-Royces, who lives in royal palace for 100 million euros? - One respected person. Here it is close up:

This is criminal authority Sergei Vasiliev, Tambov organized crime group. Repeat offender, convicted twice Soviet times: for rape (in 1974) and fraud (1987). In the 1980s, he created one of the first gangs of racketeers in the city (the Vasiliev brothers’ gang).

He bombed car markets, twisted caps (protected thimbles), collected tribute from Galera (the black market for imported goods near Gostiny Dvor). All this happened back in the USSR. In the 1990s. Vasiliev became one of the shadow masters of the city. Together with the Tambov organized crime group, he participated in the seizure seaport and other enterprises. In the 2000s, under Putin, the bandit Vasiliev reached the heights of prosperity. In October 2017, I visited Putin for his 65th birthday (they have known each other for a long time).

Vyritsa is an urban-type settlement; there are about 12 thousand permanent residents (not summer residents). The neighborhoods where they live look something like this:

The barracks were built in who knows what years...

All this is successfully complemented by the palace of the bandit Vasiliev. You can take schoolchildren to Vyritsa. For lessons on modern history Russia. Well, so as not to tell for too long. You can also transport social science students. In order to study the topic “Capitalism for our own.” To make it clear: here are our own, and here are strangers, everything is clear.

We can say with confidence that none of the leaders of Cosa Nostra in America live like this. There are more and more “plumbing managers” there.

Another interesting point: judging by the land registry, Vasilyev’s palace in Vyritsa stands on a plot of 4.1 hectares, which is allocated for a “health care facility” ( health complex).

You can rest assured about the health of Vasiliev’s authority. But the rest of the residents of the village of Vyritsa are treated at the local district hospital on Moskovskaya street, 12. This healthcare facility is only 4 km from the bandit palace, but here life is completely different... The main problem is that the sewerage collector next to it has long fallen into disrepair and is leaking hospital. Feces spread throughout the area, spreading all the delights of unsanitary conditions. Fix it? - But there is no money.

In Russia it is not customary to talk about biographies. Most often, even their names are known only to a narrow circle of people who are really interested in this topic. Businessman Sergei Vasiliev, who became famous mainly for his private palace, copying the famous one in Tsarskoe Selo, and for surviving a daring attempt on his own life, was no exception. Who is the owner of luxury housing and the victim of gang violence?

The beginning of the way

Sergei Vasilievich Vasiliev is a businessman, now quite famous, the middle of three brothers. All of them were born in the village of Vyritsa, which Leningrad region. Since childhood, the boys were fond of boxing, so they had plenty of stamina and strength - perhaps such character building became one of the main reasons for their success in business. At the age of 19, Sergei went to jail, but served 3 years out of the required five. Ten years later - a new move, but this time together with his older brother on charges of extortion, to which fraud was also added at the trial - at this time the Vasilievs, as they say, controlled video salons and the so-called thimble makers in the city on Neve.

Having been released in the early nineties, the brothers switched to a popular activity at that time - driving cars from Europe to Russia, while they actively used old acquaintances, which allowed them to take one of the automobile markets of the northern capital under their wing.

St. Petersburg oil terminal

Businessman Sergei Vasiliev began his independent voyage from the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal. An interesting fact is that instead of looking for external investors who could demand a share in PNT as a token of gratitude for their help, Vasiliev began modernization using the terminal’s own income.

IN this moment, according to expert estimates, the share of this enterprise in the oil products market of the Baltic region is 15%, and the annual income of the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal is approximately 60 million dollars.

Union

Sergey Vasilievich Vasiliev is a businessman, photo, whose biography is shrouded in mystery. But it is known that another major undertaking of the entrepreneur was the Soyuz corporation, which is engaged in the production of specialized fats (vegetable, palm oil and others); The share of this enterprise on the Russian market is 18%, which allows us to speak with confidence about its influence. Troubles in this company began in 2012, when a conflict on personal grounds occurred between Vasiliev, who owns a controlling stake, and his partner, who owned a quarter of the corporation’s shares.

Consequences of the "Union"

As a result of this, as financial experts say, a kind of raider takeover of the enterprise began: the partner who was no longer desirable was removed from the management of the company, the lion's share of the property was sold allegedly for the debts of Soyuz, and sold at a price much lower than the real market value and to companies behind which , according to some analysts, businessman Sergei Vasiliev is also worth it.

It all ended with the fact that the incident acquired truly global proportions: the rogue partner was forced to go to Holland with his family after an attempt on his own life, most likely organized by Vasiliev; Many Russian and foreign companies refuse to cooperate with the corporation; The legal proceedings initiated by the escaped partner are in full swing in order to return the taken share in Soyuz.

Arcros

“Russian Funds” is another project headed by Sergei Vasiliev. The businessman, whose biography includes several large-scale enterprises, with the help of this investment group, recently became the owner of the London diamond trader, Arcos, which began its history back in 1920. Previously, it was under the wing of Alrosa, a mining company specializing mainly in diamond mining. They say, however, that at the time of the sale Arcos owned only a medium-sized apartment in London, while all other property had already been sold to an unknown investor. Alrosa notes that two entrepreneurs took part in the auction where this company was at stake, and, as is already clear, Sergey Vasiliev offered a high price.

The businessman, whose photo appeared in many specialized publications in connection with this event, notes that this acquisition will allow him to expand his influence in the commodity markets, moreover, it will be an excellent addition to the Seligdar gold mining company that the businessman already owns. It is noted, by the way, that Arcos was sold at a price that turned out to be lower than the market value, so Vasiliev concluded a priori a profitable deal.

Assassination

In Russia great amount large entrepreneurs are citizens of other countries. Sergei the businessman, whose photo in connection with the high-profile assassination attempt appeared in many local and all-Russian media, was no exception, and he had long since taken a fancy to him, despite his now Dutch citizenship. He began his career in this city, suffered his first failures here, and immediately took on new ideas. And in the city on the Neva he almost died. In 2006, the car in which the entrepreneur was was fired upon by unknown assailants.

The attack was clearly well planned: one of the attackers’ cars blocked the road of the businessman’s Rolls-Royce, while targeted shooting was carried out from another: as a result of the assassination attempt, one of Vasiliev’s guards was killed, three were injured, and he himself, who was also injured, spent about a week in intensive care.

Versions of the assassination attempt

All versions of the assassination attempt are related to professional activities. Some say that Sergei Vasiliev is a businessman who survived and even refused to “share” the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal with one of the famous crime bosses, for which he almost paid with his life. Others link the murder attempt to Vasiliev's famous mansion, which he refused to sell. In any case, charges were brought against the head of Tambov, who, according to investigators, had designs on some of Vasiliev’s enterprises.

Vasilyevsky Palace

Sergey Vasilievich Vasiliev is a businessman whose photo of his mansion has excited the Internet. It is believed that a citizen of an EU country should still spend most of the year on EU territory, but contrary to this rule, Vasiliev settled in native village, where he built himself a smaller copy famous palace in Tsarskoye Selo. The house is located on the shore, they say, by the way, that due to construction the village lost part wild beach. Experts note that if in terms of external design Vasiliev’s palace is in no way inferior to Catherine’s, then in terms of interior decoration it even surpasses it.

There were rumors that the front doors of the mansion, made of tortoiseshells, were somehow not to the owner’s liking, so businessman Sergei Vasiliev ordered one of them, worth 30 thousand dollars, to be replaced with a new one. The abundance of marble and gold, the decoration in the Baroque style gives the house a certain “museum-like” quality, perhaps that is why this building is used more for receiving high-ranking guests than for ordinary life. By the way, the exact area of the site is unknown.

Patronage

But it is worth noting that Sergei Vasiliev, a businessman whose name often appears in the media in connection with scandals, assassination attempts and other unpleasant events, is also known for his philanthropy. He completely restored the Church of Our Lady of Kazan - a wooden cathedral with more than a century of history, which is now one of the main places for pilgrims. True, not all fellow villagers are happy with such changes: from a small local church, the temple has turned into a tourist Mecca, which obviously does not please everyone.

In addition, Sergey Vasiliev takes part in various projects for young entrepreneurs and businessmen, telling his own success story, thereby inspiring young people to new achievements. It is worth noting that a year ago he tried himself in a new field: it all started with notes in one social network, in which Vasiliev shared with his subscribers some stories from his business past. Later, due to the popularity of these notes, the idea arose to create a whole book in which Vasiliev’s path would be shown from the very beginning.

In his “memoirs,” called “The Way It Was for Me: The 90s,” the entrepreneur writes about the specifics of business in the 90s, as well as about various business schemes that he created himself and that he had to face - This book promises to become one of the self-help guides for those who are planning to start their own business.

Conclusion

Of course, it is difficult to form an unambiguous opinion about such an extraordinary personality as Sergei Vasiliev. Someone considers him one of the “cleanest” Russian businessmen, saying that he did not clear the way for himself by murder - for this alone he can be respected. Others blame the numerous scandals associated with the name of the entrepreneur: here is the incident with the Soyuz corporation, the trial for which still has not been completed, and the possible behind-the-scenes games around the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal, for which Vasiliev almost paid with his life. In any case, it is worth noting that Sergei Vasilievich Vasiliev has really achieved a lot, not retreating from any difficulties and demonstrating his entrepreneurial talent and extraordinary abilities in running a business. It is worth giving him credit only for the fact that he is also engaged in cultivating his own kind, which means that Russian business definitely has a future.

The incredibly luxurious homes and country residences of the oligarchs simply amaze the imagination, and I’d simply rather not say anything about their cost. For example, Kadyrov’s “dacha” cost him only $310 million, and our president is used to getting to his residence on his own yacht. Be sure to read further and look at all the luxury that some residents of our country can afford.

Palace of the Vasiliev Brothers

The Vasiliev brothers were born in the village of Vyritsa, Leningrad Region. At first they ran video stores, then they transported cars from Europe for sale in Russia, and they ran car markets. Sergey Vasiliev controlled and controls the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal, the largest bunkering company in the Seaport of St. Petersburg, with a 15% share of the volume of oil products transshipped in the Baltic.

The Vasilyevs generously helped their native Vyritsa, where the brothers still live, despite having real estate in St. Petersburg - for example, they restored the wooden Church of the Kazan Mother of God, which is popular with tourists. It was in this village on the banks of the Oredezh River that the brothers decided to build their estate. The interesting thing about this estate is that it is a smaller copy of the Catherine Palace - the famous royal residence in Pushkin. The patterns on the cast-iron grate, the golden domes of the chapel, the sky blue color and white statues - a lot here reminds us of Catherine’s.
There is only conflicting information about the interior: 14-meter high ceilings, marble staircases, tortoiseshell doors, mosaic marble floors with total area more than 600 sq. m, black marble Atlantean knights. According to the author of the project, architect Igor Gremitsky, exclusively natural materials were used to decorate the palace, including 19 types of marble from Italy.

Yakunin's dacha

This Saturday, a post appeared on an entertainment portal, the author of which claimed that he participated in the construction of a residence for the head of the Russian railways Vladimir Yakunin - worked there on the so-called smart home.

According to him, on several tens of hectares of forest near Domodedovo, private lakes were dug, a garage for 15 cars was built, a separate box for a luxury limousine, one and a half kilometers of underground passages were built to the garage, there was a private cinema, bath complex(1400 sq. m) with a sauna, Russian, Turkish baths, salt room, swimming pool, separate massage room, etc.
Then a certain builder Alexey, who allegedly worked there, spoke on RSN. “There were 300 Vietnamese people working there, and they killed all the fish there with electric fishing rods. External finishing – Italian marble. Bathhouse - three buildings, 14 by 14 meters, Italian furniture, marble bar counter, fireplace, stained glass windows. It is made of glass, there are no walls as such, locker rooms, showers, everything is very expensive. Swimming pool 50 meters in the house. There is a storage room for fur coats and a refrigerator. The small house is his son’s, a guest house, and the main one is his. There is a prayer room and a chapel there. It seems that Metrostroy dug ponds there for 150 million. It’s decorated with gold tiles, and the room is very large - a hammam, a bathhouse, a steam room, a panorama to look at the forest,” Alexey said about what he saw near Domodedovo.

Shuvalov's residence

Igor Shuvalov, who has served as Deputy Prime Minister since 2008, is the wealthiest member of the government according to his 2012 declaration. His income amounted to about 226 million rubles (about 7 million dollars). The spouse's income is slightly less.

In his declaration, the official indicated that he, together with his wife and three minor children, rents a house with an area of 4,174 square meters. meters. The residence of the Deputy Prime Minister is located next to the innovation city Skolkovo (Moscow) on the territory of the former dacha of Brezhnev-era Politburo member Mikhail Suslov (state dacha Zarechye-4), is jealously guarded and surrounded by a high fence. Natalya Pelevina, in her blog on the website of the radio station Echo of Moscow, talks about a “palace” with an area of 1500 square meters. meters, built in the shape of the letter P. On a plot of 7.5 hectares, according to Pelevina, there are also indoor tennis courts, a swimming pool, luxurious gardens “with bushes trimmed in the Versailles style,” a greenhouse for exotic plants, separate houses for servants and security, etc.

Kadyrov's residence

On the banks of the Sunzha River in Grozny stands another very impressive mansion. The official residence of the head of the Chechen Republic with an area of 260 thousand square meters. meters cost the budget, according to Novaya Gazeta, about 10 billion rubles ($310.8 million).

Novaya Gazeta notes that 48 million rubles – 360 thousand square meters – were allocated for the improvement of the territory of the residence alone. m of lawn, 77 thousand sq. m of flower beds, 16 thousand roses, 14 thousand sq. m of curly pruned bushes, hedges, etc. About 36 million rubles have been allocated for utility services for the residence.
Nikolai Uskov, head of the Snob project, after a meeting of the club of editors of central media in Grozny, eloquently described what he saw: “On a huge square in the middle of ideal lawns, reminiscent of the emerald waves of golf courses, stood a monumental palace in the Ottoman style, next to it was a copy of the sacred Kaaba, framed by minarets. […] Among the picturesque hills and Chechen family towers stretching to the left, a small farm is hidden. A bear cub lives with her in a cage, chickens and turkeys walk on the grass, roosters crow, a stream gurgles, flowing into an artificial pond.”

Medvedev Palace

In February 2011, Novaya Gazeta published an article suggesting that in the territory natural reserve Big Utrish ( Krasnodar region) a personal dacha is being built for ex-president and current prime minister Dmitry Medvedev. The mansion in Bolshoy Utrish was to be equipped with a marina and helipad. Two wide roads leading to it were specially planned (according to the publication, these are the security requirements of the Federal Security Service). In its architecture, the “Medvedev’s dacha” project is similar to the so-called Putin’s palace in Gelendzhik.

The land on which the palace is located has been rented out since July 2008 by the forestry department Krasnodar region fund for regional non-profit projects Gift for the construction of a sports and recreation complex there. For an area of 120 hectares, the fund will transfer 15 million rubles every year for 49 years.
According to Novaya Gazeta, Management Company The Dar fund was located at the same address as the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives (FSCI) of the President's wife Svetlana Medvedeva, the companies had the same telephone number, and the general director of both organizations was different time the same person (Olga Travina). The Presidential Administration stated that it has nothing to do with the construction.

Tkachev's dacha

In the Blue Bay, near the village of Bzhid, Dzhubga urban settlement, Tuapse district, Krasnodar Territory, there is an object that some consider to be the residence of the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Alexander Tkachev.

According to Rosreestr, part of these lands actually belongs to the governor. However, according to environmentalists, the area enclosed by a fence (about 7 hectares) significantly exceeds the area of land owned by Tkachev (1 hectare).
It was from the fence around the facility that the scandal began to flare up. In February–March 2011, activists of the Environmental Watch North Caucasus carried out actions against the seizure of forest fund lands and coastal strips, were detained by law enforcement officers and sentenced to various terms of administrative arrest (from 7 to 15 days). A request from ecologists sent to the Forestry Department of the Krasnodar Territory received an answer: there is no fence around this area.

Patriarch's Dacha

In February 2011 at Black Sea coast north of the village of Divnomorskoye (Krasnodar Territory), the same activists discovered what they said was illegal construction. At least 10 hectares of forest where Pitsunda pine, protected by law, grows, is surrounded by a three-meter fence. On the territory, according to ecologists, there is a “strange, pretentious structure - either a mansion or a temple - this quadrangular building is crowned with a dome with a cross. An absolutely unimaginable hybrid of a palace and a temple.”

The Russian Orthodox Church confirmed that this object belongs to the Moscow Patriarchate, but noted that it is not the patriarch’s dacha that is being built near Gelendzhik, but a spiritual center. The territory of the spiritual center was to house a meeting room of the Holy Synod, premises for the stay of members of the Synod, administrative and management services of the Moscow Patriarchate, work rooms, conference rooms, press center premises, etc. In the summer of 2012, the fence around mysterious object grew significantly in height, became much longer and was equipped with night surveillance cameras and an alarm system. Later, Patriarch Kirill consecrated a temple on the territory of the spiritual center and held a meeting of the Holy Synod there.

Putin's Palace

On the Black Sea coast near the village of Praskoveevka in the Gelendzhik region there is a “recreation complex”, which, according to rumors, belongs to Putin.

Businessman Sergei Kolesnikov claims that, although the project was envisaged as a private residence of Nikolai Shamalov, the construction of the palace was carried out by Spetsstroy of Russia, and it was supervised, guarded and given all instructions federal Service security According to Kolesnikov, the complex occupied an area of “tens of thousands of square meters” and was equipped with “a casino, a winter theater, a summer amphitheater, a chapel, swimming pools, a sports complex, helipads, landscape parks, tea houses, premises for service personnel and other technical buildings.”
In the spring of 2011, Shamalov's company Indokopas, together with the residence, was sold to a Cypriot company, the beneficiary of which is businessman Alexander Ponomarenko. Bloggers suggest that the palace is the private residence of Vladimir Putin. In particular, according to their statement, on August 6-7, 2011, three large yachts(one of them was similar to the Olympia yacht, which, according to bloggers, Putin uses) and two patrol ships. A few days before, law enforcement agencies cleared the nearby coastline of tents and checked the passports of citizens vacationing in them.
Subsequently, Vladimir Kozhin, manager of the affairs of the President of the Russian Federation, denied reports about the construction of a residence for Vladimir Putin.

On Friday, Vladimir Barsukov was arrested and then transferred to a Moscow pre-trial detention center. This is an entrepreneur in the north-west of Russia, the founder of the so-called “Tambov business community” in St. Petersburg and the surrounding area, the last and most unsinkable of the “Mohicans” of the dashing 90s.

In an amazing way, Vladimir Barsukov’s life is inextricably linked with the screen. Several years ago, Vladimir Sergeevich played Louis XIV in Alexander Nevzorov’s film “The Story of a Horse.” A little later, Leonid Parfenov, who was filming “The Other Day” in St. Petersburg, ended up in his apartment on Tavricheskaya Street. From Barsukov's apartment opens beautiful view to the Tauride Garden. The owner and the TV man took a photo as a souvenir, Barsukov was proud: “These are the kind of people I have.” Ironically, Barsukov was arrested in those days when the TV series “Reckoning” was broadcast on the Rossiya TV channel - a continuation of the “Gangster Petersburg” saga. The main character of the telenovela, Sokhaty, strikingly reminds St. Petersburg residents of Vladimir Barsukov. In the series, Sokhaty was taken by the security forces. For his prototype, the “series” is just beginning.

Episode one. Bam-bang - and in slippers

Everything came to a head when the Prosecutor General's Office landed in the city on the Neva last Wednesday. A characteristic detail is that the security forces in St. Petersburg were not even notified that Barsukov was planned to be detained. About 40 people took part in the operation. But not a single one from St. Petersburg.

To take into custody Vladimir Barsukov, a disabled person of group I (his right arm was amputated), it took almost a military operation with the participation of special forces. It started on Wednesday at 16:00, when Barsukov’s dacha in Tarkhovka near St. Petersburg was surrounded by four trucks with soldiers from the Zubr special forces detachment. The owner of the house came out in shorts and slippers and followed the operatives for more than six hours while the search was going on. Closer to night, at 12 o'clock, we went to inspect Barsukov's apartment on Tavricheskaya Street.

According to Barsukov’s household, their home made the police look indelible impression. Vladimir Sergeevich’s apartment has two levels, and its furnishings are the stuff of legends in St. Petersburg. One of the operas was so carried away that he almost forgot that he was looking for material evidence here, and not a future father-in-law.

He began to ask if we had a daughter, if she was married, and how old she was,” says Marina Haberlakh, the wife of Vladimir Barsukov, with undisguised irony in her voice.

According to the businessman’s relatives, during the search only paintings, bronze figurines and other household items were confiscated. Nothing illegal was found.

On Friday, the Petrogradsky District Court authorized the arrest of Barsukov without charge. But after 10 days, according to the law, he must either be charged or released. The latter is unlikely.

Episode two. We are a long echo of each other

Why was Barsukov arrested now when he advocates legal business? Recently, Vladimir Sergeevich even agreed to cooperate with the authorities. It was he who helped the St. Petersburg prosecutor's office save the little townspeople: .

Official version his arrest was announced by the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office. Barsukov is considered the mastermind of the assassination attempt on another St. Petersburg businessman, Sergei Vasiliev. The investigation, in addition, expects to prove Barsukov’s involvement in a series of contract killings and raider takeovers of enterprises.

Vasiliev is also a very curious person. His love for St. Petersburg architecture or luxury - who knows - was embodied in an exact copy of the Catherine Palace, which he built in the town of Vyritsa near St. Petersburg. The “Group of Vasilyev Brothers” was considered the most, so to speak, effective division of the “Tambov business community.” Vasiliev controls one of the most important enterprises - the St. Petersburg Oil Terminal (PNT). This is the largest bunkering company in the Seaport of St. Petersburg, accounting for 15% of the total volume of oil products transshipped in the Baltic.

At the beginning of 2006, PNT almost changed hands. The raiders used “traditional” tactics - replacing data on owners in the Unified Register. Vasilyev repelled the attack. And at the end of the battle, in May, an attempt was made on his life, which was immediately associated with the failed capture and... with Vladimir Barsukov.

Whoever planned the elimination of Vasiliev framed it as a “remake” of the early St. Petersburg 90s. On May 5 last year, in the second hour of the day, in front of hundreds of passers-by and children from a nearby kindergarten, a motorcade was slowly driving along Levashovsky Prospekt on the Petrogradskaya side - a gray Rolls-Royce, accompanied by a security jeep. Suddenly, a gray “nine” flew dashingly across them, forcing both cars to stop. Three people jumped out of the Zhiguli and opened fire with machine guns and a pistol. Having strewn the asphalt with shell casings, the shooters jumped into the "nine" while moving and disappeared. The abandoned car is later found in a neighboring yard. But there was no trace of the shooters themselves.

When the shooting started, Vasiliev himself was talking on his cell phone. One of the bullets hit... durable metal case device, and not into the head of its owner. Nevertheless, Vasiliev spent several months in the hospital, balancing between life and death.

Reliable sources told Izvestia that it was Vasiliev, having regained his health, who put two and two together and came to the conclusion that the same person was behind the attempt to seize PNT and the assassination attempt on him - Vladimir Barsukov. He allegedly presented his guesses to the prosecutor's office. And he was extremely interested in his enemy’s journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow.

We managed to talk with Vasiliev very briefly. He denies that he had anything to do with the arrest of his former senior comrade.

Why do I need this? - Vasiliev was very plausibly surprised. - Let the law enforcement agencies sort this out.

He admits that relations with Barsukov deteriorated in 2006.

Yes, everything was fine, and then things got confusing,” Vasiliev snapped. Probably, these two will not be able to understand and forgive each other for a long time. Or maybe never.

Vladimir Barsukov in St. Petersburg is often called Kumarin - out of habit. This is his former last name. He was born in 1956 in the village of Aleksandrovka, Tambov region. I wrote my graduation essay on the topic “The Motherland is something that has been dear since childhood.” He studied at a vocational school to become a driver, served in the army, moved to Leningrad and in 1976 entered the Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics. He worked as a forwarder in canteen No. 117, as a bartender and cocktail maker in the Tallinn cafe, and also as a doorman and storekeeper in the Rose of the Winds cafe.

In the second half of the 80s, Kumarin created a team of like-minded people, which in those days was called the “brigade”. Vladimir Sergeevich selected fellow countrymen from the Tambov region for it, not forgetting that “the Motherland is something that has been dear since childhood.” The community, of course, received the name “Tambov”. Its members were fond of playing thimbles and provided paid security services to the population. In 1990, the court classified the activities as hooliganism, robbery and extortion. Among the Tambov prisoners, Kumarin was also convicted. He served a little over two of his four years in prison.

Since 1993, the community has been attracted to the oil business. This is how the St. Petersburg Fuel Company began to emerge. Over time, the business will grow in other areas: banks, casinos, restaurants, shopping centers, supply of products. According to one version, it was because of the products that Barsukov lost his arm. There was a battle for a contract to supply alcohol for the Goodwill Games. The Mercedes where Kumarin was driving was riddled with bullets. The amputation was performed in Germany.

After recovery, the entrepreneur returned to St. Petersburg, becoming even more authoritative. But the time has come to change his name, become Barsukov (mother’s maiden name), vice-president of the St. Petersburg Fuel Company, and a legal entrepreneur. After another authoritative St. Petersburg resident, Kostya Mogila, was shot in Moscow, Barsukov was left alone with St. Petersburg.

Barsukov's supporters are confident that he was not involved in the assassination attempt on Vasiliev. He values too much the image of a law-abiding citizen and a repentant Christian. He donated to the needs of the church. The amounts of his contributions to the servants of the Lord were comparable to the budget of a small town. Vladimir Sergeevich is also an assistant to State Duma deputy Alexander Nevzorov with a salary of 1,600 rubles. When asked about his current status, he answers: “Pensioner.”

Sergei Vasiliev is the middle-aged of three brothers, but the “senior in rank.” Sergey, Alexander and Boris Vasilievich Vasilyev were born and live in the village of Vyritsa, a hundred kilometers from St. Petersburg. Sergei Vasiliev was born in Vyritsa in 1955, at the age of 19 he was imprisoned for rape, and at the age of 31 he was prosecuted for extortion. He was convicted of fraud. In the early 90s he became Kumarin's younger comrade. Together they came out of the shadows into the light and became good citizens.

There is only conflicting information about the interior: ceilings 14 meters high, marble staircases, doors made of tortoiseshells, mosaic marble floors with a total area of more than 600 square meters. m, black marble Atlantean knights.
According to the author of the project, architect Igor Gremitsky, exclusively natural materials were used to decorate the palace, including 19 types of marble from Italy.
