Really the best hotel prices

Hospitable Middle Eastern country United United Arab Emirates offers excellent conditions for recreation at its resorts and beaches. Where can we spend the time we look forward to throughout the year in the UAE? Which city to spend time in – Sharjah, Fujairah or Dubai? We have prepared short review, which will help determine the answer to this question.

The richest emirate, which just 50 years ago was a small village, is rightfully considered a place of “luxury” vacation in all respects. All the biggest miracles are here modern architecture: the Burj Dubai hotel in the shape of a sail (seven-star, by the way), the tallest skyscraper in the world Burj Khalifa, man-made islands in the shape of a palm tree and much more. Why do tourists go to Dubai? The most exciting activity in this city is shopping. There is everything for this here - huge malls and shopping malls, countless shops whose windows are buried in gold.

If you came to this emirate just to relax, you are welcome to the spacious and wide beaches, washed by warm and clear waters Persian Gulf. In addition, Dubai offers a variety of entertainment for every taste and color. Before your trip, plan your expenses in advance - the article on how much money to take with you to Dubai will help you with this.

Abu Dhabi

The beautiful and modern Middle Eastern city in the UAE is very popular among tourists. This is largely due to the fact that the authorities were able to incredibly harmoniously combine the beauty of the desert sands and man-made oases, of which there are many in the city and the abundance of greenery in which is simply surprising. Along with this, Abu Dhabi has many modern skyscrapers, perfect roads and many restaurants and shops. Don't forget to visit the Gold Souk, just be careful - incredible amount the gold sold there may cloud your mind...or maybe not).

Umm Al Quwain

The main highlight of this emirate is the famous camel racing. If you are a gambling person, you can place your bet on one or another representative of this family of mammals and, if you’re lucky, win a good sum. If you are traveling with children, then you should definitely visit the “DreamLand” water park, the heart of which is an artificial volcano, outwardly indistinguishable from a real one, of course smaller in size.

Fujairah

So, we have come to the most “beach” emirate. Fujairah is located on the shores of the Gulf of Oman. In addition to the fabulous beaches, where you want to spend time endlessly, diving enthusiasts will find something to do here - swimming among bright corals and fish of all colors of the rainbow will bring great pleasure. If you have just embarked on the path of learning the basics of diving, local clubs can help you.

👁 Do we book the hotel through Booking as always? In the world, not only Booking exists (🙈 for a high percentage from hotels - we pay!). I've been using Rumguru for a long time, it's really more profitable 💰💰 than Booking.
👁 And for tickets, go to air sales, as an option. It has been known about him for a long time 🐷. But there is a better search engine - Skyscanner - there are more flights, lower prices! 🔥🔥.
👁 And finally, the main thing. How to go on a trip without any hassle? Buy now. This is the kind of thing that includes flights, accommodation, meals and a bunch of other goodies for good money 💰💰.

All have hotels and beaches, shops and restaurants, entertainment for tourists (in some places there are few, such as in Ras Al Khaimah, in others - in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, there are more, recreation is more varied). And now how do you order to choose a place to relax?

Let's listen to what our compatriots, who recently returned from the UAE and gathered in a small cozy cafe over a cup of tea, say:

Marina: We really enjoyed our holiday in Sharjah! Quiet, calm, no drunken compatriots. We specifically chose this emirate, and it didn’t cost much. I really liked the Lu-Lu Hotel (), it’s on the coast - we swam in the morning, then slept in the afternoon, went to Dubai, walked around the malls, but it was difficult to find a taxi back. A one-way trip cost us 40-60 dirhams. Sometimes we traveled profitably - we shared half and half with our neighbors. And living in Dubai was too expensive for us. Sharjah and Dubai are close, you can swim and relax in Sharjah, and go to Dubai for entertainment, walks, and shopping. In Sharjah too shopping centers yes, but in Dubai we also went to markets and malls, and bought a lot of things in Nasser Square. I really like Sharjah, which is strict, calm and inexpensive.

Vlad
: Come on, Sharjah! Boring! Also, these strict laws of theirs are only suitable for families who are not going to leave the beach. The sea is the same everywhere, except Fujairah. Diving fans come to Fujairah. I wouldn't choose Sharjah. Dubai is awesome! My friend and I, although we didn’t relax in a beach hotel (they are too expensive and luxurious), there are no words of delight, just emotions! We went to the sea by bus or taxi. But we wandered around the city, went on excursions a couple of times, smoked hookah, and also ran through the malls and markets. The jeep safari was very impressive. Skyscrapers, speed, the very atmosphere for the young and hot!

We went on an excursion to Abu Dhabi, and living there was also not very good. Business center. One visit is enough. Other emirates are definitely boring. Just lie on the beaches. It’s clear that all the emirates are nearby, one after the other, getting to any of them is not a problem. But I choose Dubai! There s fun.

Sveta
: I wonder if anyone chooses Fujairah? We were in both Dubai and Sharjah, and we liked it both there and there. Sharjah - beaches, few people, white sand under your feet. From Carlton (our hotel, quite decent) there was a free bus to Dubai and Sharjah, several times a day. Dubai - dynamics, luxury, shopping, an atmosphere of modern oriental luxury... And in Fujairah, as I was told, there are stones at the bottom of the sea and on the beach, some kind of sea urchins, in general, people are almost swimming in their shoes.

Only if I had to choose between a city hotel in Dubai or a beach hotel in Sharjah, I would choose Sharjah. To Dubai - on an excursion, otherwise traveling to the beach by bus, and even time-consuming, is very tiring.

Vlad: I haven’t heard much about Fujairah, just that it’s a bit boring compared to Dubai. I also have friends who are fans quiet rest, so they constantly vacation in Ajman. They really like it there - it’s beautiful, calm, half an hour’s drive from Dubai. There are few tourists. And I love it when there are a lot of people, you can’t see enough of it. That's life!

Lena: Listen to what I tell you. There is no friend for taste and color, as they say, each emirate is good in its own way. If you are going to the UAE for the first time, it is better to choose Dubai. The attitude towards tourists is the most loyal, plus all these miracles, the metro, shops on every corner and so on. Hookah. The hotels are gorgeous, the beaches. There is a lot of entertainment and relative freedom for travelers. And civilization in general. Then, having gained experience, you can live in other emirates.

Fujairah - for divers. On the shores of the Gulf of Oman there is a great variety of all kinds of underwater living creatures and, in general, diversity water world. Fujairah is more expensive than Ajman or Sharjah. And the hotels there are more luxurious.

Sharjah - a relaxing holiday with great beaches, historical monuments. And everything is cheaper there compared to Dubai (hotels, food, taxis).

Umm Al Quwain - camel racing, Dreamland water park.

Abu Dhabi - how can you not go to the main emirate of the country and take a walk around the capital? Palaces, oases, monuments, mosques, fountains - beauty!

Ajman - economical holiday.

Ras Al Khaimah is also liked by many people; it is an emirate for a “lazy” holiday. There are few tourists there, mostly locals. 50 minutes drive from Dubai.

The last time we were in the UAE, we lived in Dubai for three days, and then the rest of the days in Sharjah and Ajman. The vacation was great!

Vlad: Oh how! Lena dotted all the i’s! Exactly, draw conclusions:

Abu Dhabi
- capital. Petrodollars, which by and large do not concern us, luxury and all that. But this is a business center where it is better to go on an excursion than to live there. Beautiful - skyscrapers, fountains, architecture. They also have a hotel, the Emirates Palace - it’s so luxurious that you wouldn’t even dream of it. By the way, there is a machine that sells gold - you can bring a gold bar as a souvenir. Co observation deck you can see the Hilton Hotel beautiful view and also understand that you need to choose another place to relax. (In my opinion).

Dubai
. Oh, this is just great! Nothing compares to this emirate and its capital! Beautiful city, a lot of flowers, skyscrapers, shops, a metro without a driver, ideal beaches, golf, a hippodrome, water parks, boat excursions, belly dancing, hookah, camels, jeep safari, and what not! Life is in full swing and presents all the beauty and joy, just catch the delight! For the first time, definitely go to Dubai! (I choose it all other times, however). Although, of course, expensive.

Sharjah
. Pillar of Islam. Close to Dubai, but what a difference! Not a drop of alcohol, the strictest adherence to the rules and prohibition. I also heard that Sharjah is the only place where punishment by caning remains. This is unlikely to threaten our tourists, but the laws will have to be strictly observed, along with other residents. However, oriental architecture, sunny, quiet beaches and this same prohibition law attract almost half of the tourists to Sharjah. There are also markets - vegetable, fish, gold... there are many markets, about 10. Museums, including the museum of antique cars, aviation, and the maritime museum. The boys will have fun! Shopping centers. And Dubai is here, nearby. And there are also some good savings.

Ajman
. He is small, the smallest of the seven. For relatively inexpensive holiday. Beautiful nature. The hotels are good, the beaches are excellent. It is popular among tourists and the population of Sharjah - those for whom prohibition is a burden. Here, alcohol lovers can breathe easier, although wine is also not sold on every corner and no one walks around drunk. An excellent equestrian center for horse riding enthusiasts, there are also diving centers, several museums, and camel racing.

Umm Al Quwain
. There are few hotels and few attractions here. But on the island nearby live pink flamingos. Crab hunting in the evenings is a form of entertainment for tourists, and you can try more than thirty varieties of dates while in Umm al-Quwain. Racing and shooting clubs, flying club, sea activities, a couple of museums. Eat good restaurants and DreamLand water park.

Ras Al Khaimah
. Many people like to relax here. Entertainment includes camel racing, flying club, shooting and golf clubs, sailing. You can visit a pearl farm (very interesting!) and tombs, visit. There are also hot springs in the town of The Khatt ( South part emirate).

Fujairah
. Amazing snorkeling and low prices for everyday goods. Undersea world- these are corals, moray eels, butterfly fish, parrot fish and sometimes sharks. The water is not very clear. Scenic Spots, hot springs, just like everywhere else, there are shops and oriental shops. And many more go to Fujairah to watch a bullfight - an unforgettable spectacle for those with nerves of iron.

Well, that seems to be all. I think everyone will find a vacation to their liking in the Emirates according to their budget and preferences. Dubai and Abu Dhabi are more expensive and more fun, while other emirates are quieter, more modest and cheaper.

And everyone agreed with Vlad.

If you thought the UAE was all about skyscrapers and incredible architecture, you'll be pleasantly surprised to learn that this desert land is dotted with stunning beaches and is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm sunshine.

We attach a list of must-visit beaches for holidays in the UAE and no, they are not as famous as Jumeirah Beach or Palm Beach and Al Mamzar Park in Dubai, but there you will not find noise, compatriots and annoying eyes, so hurry to open them first .

Ghantoot Beach: UAE's hidden gem

Ghantoot Beach is one of the UAE's best kept secrets, but how long will it last? While this remains the case, we suggest you quickly go to Gantut Beach and be among the pioneers. And remember, when on holiday in the UAE, wear casual clothes before leaving the beach. Men are advised against going bare-chested outside the beach, and women on holiday in Sharjah are prohibited from wearing swimsuits on public beaches.

Sharjah and Fujairah are two quite popular among lovers beach holiday emirates They are united by the presence of relatively inexpensive hotels with private beach, how they compare favorably with Dubai. If you want to go on holiday to the UAE and are thinking about which is better - Sharjah or Fujairah - then we advise you to read this article to the end. Although we won't give you a specific answer to the question "Sharjah or Fujairah: which is better?", we will compare both of these emirates on various important criteria, which will give you a better understanding of which emirate is best for you.

Location

For most tourists, but not all, Sharjah's location will be more advantageous. Firstly, this emirate is located much closer to the main airports of the UAE, which is important for tourists with children. You can drive to your hotel in Sharjah from Dubai Airport or from Sharjah Airport in just 15-30 minutes. You will have to drive at least 1 hour to Fujairah city, but the most popular beach hotels of this emirate are not in Fujairah itself, but in the village of Al Aqa, the travel time to which from Dubai and Sharjah airports is at least 1.5 hours.

Secondly, Sharjah’s proximity to Dubai gives a great advantage to those tourists who plan to explore the sights of this emirate and go shopping. Of course, no one is stopping you from traveling from Fujairah to Dubai on excursions and to shopping centers. But the cost of the cheapest excursion to Dubai from Fujairah starts from $100 per person, and the cost of a taxi trip from Fujairah to Dubai will start from $80 for a one-way trip. In addition, you will have to spend a lot of time on the road.

Despite all this, Fujairah's location has its advantages. Firstly, Fujairah is on the coast Indian Ocean(or rather, the Arabian Sea, which is considered part of the Indian Ocean), which slightly increases the status of this resort in the eyes of some tourists. In addition, in general, the waters near Fujairah are slightly cleaner than those near Sharjah. Secondly, due to the mountains, Fujairah has its own microclimate. We'll talk about that below.

Where is the weather better?

It would seem, what differences could there be in terms of weather between two emirates that are located next to each other? But, as we said above, due to the Hajar Mountains, Fujairah has its own microclimate. In the summer, when Sharjah is unbearably hot, the air temperature in Fujairah is usually 3-4 degrees lower, since the Hajar Mountains prevent the penetration of hot air masses from the Arabian desert. Besides, in winter time these same mountains protect Fujairah from the penetration of cool air masses from the north, so the air temperature in Fujairah is usually 2-3 degrees higher than in Sharjah.

Where is the sea better?

Although Sharjah has 2 enclaves that are washed by the Indian Ocean, main part The emirate is located on the coast of the Persian Gulf. Almost all Sharjah hotels are located here. Fujairah, as we have already said, is washed by the waters of the Indian Ocean. Is there a difference?

In Sharjah, there are quite a few breakwaters on the beaches that protect the coast from strong waves. So in this emirate the sea (or rather the bay) is calmer. In Fujairah, the waves are usually higher, but the sea is often calm here, when you can swim in sea water without any problems. But still, in general, the sea near hotels in Sharjah is calmer than near hotels in Fujairah.

It is also worth noting that jellyfish outbreaks are more common in Fujairah. Sharjah is also not immune to this phenomenon, but still jellyfish appear here less frequently than in Fujairah.

If we talk about the purity of the water, then, in our opinion, in Fujairah it is cleaner, although not ideal. Oil in the water occurs in both Sharjah and Fujairah, but tourists in Sharjah still complain about it much more often. In addition, it is worth remembering that the waters near Sharjah are an area of active shipping, which negatively affects the purity of the water.

Where are the best hotels?

The choice of hotels in Sharjah is noticeably wider than in Fujairah, since this emirate has about a dozen hotels with its own beach, as well as several dozen city hotels. In Sharjah you can find a relatively inexpensive beach hotel, which is important for tourists on a budget. It is also important that many hotels in Sharjah have cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, which allows you to save money on food.

Fujairah also has about a dozen beach hotels, but there are almost no city hotels. Many Fujairah beach hotels are located on the outskirts, so to speak, with practically no cafes or shops next to them. At the same time, Fujairah hotels are quite expensive, although not by much more expensive than hotels in Sharjah. However, Fujairah hotels have their advantages. Firstly, these hotels are located away from the hustle and bustle, which will appeal to tourists who love a relaxing holiday. Secondly, almost all hotels in Fujairah have a spacious area by local standards, and often also a large selection of entertainment and even an animation team. This makes them similar to beach hotels in Egypt and completely different from hotels in Sharjah. What makes them even more different from Sharjah hotels is the presence of alcohol in bars and restaurants. As you know, Sharjah has a so-called prohibition law, so hotels in this emirate, as well as other establishments, do not serve alcohol. There is no such law in Fujairah, so tourists can enjoy an “alcoholic” holiday. If we compare the all-inclusive food concepts in the hotels of these two emirates, the comparison will clearly not be in favor of Sharjah hotels, despite the fact that the cost of living under this system in both cases is approximately the same.

Is it possible to unambiguously answer the question of which is better: Sharjah or Fujairah? As you already understand, there cannot be a clear answer to this question, and when choosing between these two emirates, many factors need to be taken into account.

To summarize, we will present the main advantages of each emirate, which will allow you to understand how suitable a particular emirate is for you.
