This art project made of snow and ice is already 25 years old. Every winter the hotel premises are rebuilt in a new way. The material is frozen water unique river Tournai-Elv, which was never used for industrial purposes. Each sphere is equipped with a refrigerator and built-in speakers so you can stock up on snacks and hang out between the trees while listening to music. Facilities - in the form of composting and traditional toilets, as well as showers and saunas - are located outside. The guests are delighted.

13. TREE HOTEL

Sweden, Harads ~ 507 euros

In the mirror cube, perched on the trees in the wilderness, everything that surrounds it is reflected: the forest wilderness, the clearing and the sky, so the human eye will not immediately notice the structure measuring 4x4x4 m. And to prevent birds from crashing into it, the cube is “wrapped” in infrared film, which birds, unlike humans, can see. The entire interior is made of birch plywood. In addition to a bedroom for two, there is a living room, a bathroom and even a roof terrace. The hotel has other amazing apartments: in the form of a UFO, a bird's nest or a dragonfly. For the convenience of guests, a sauna designed for eight was built on one of the trees.
