Two weeks as a savage: How I left for Crimea with a tent all alone. Holidays in Crimea as a savage - on your own with tents at sea

From the experience of traveling to Crimea by car.

Holidays in Crimea. Crimea in September. To Crimea with a tent. Photos from the trip.
Sea Crimea A trip to Crimea by car with a tent in early September is the most wonderful time! The crossing is freer, there are much fewer people, and there are also fewer cars on the road. And the weather is wonderful!
In September 2015, Crimea was met with a temperature of +36, but mostly it was +30.
If you like a secluded holiday, then it is better to stop first behind Sudak, before reaching the village of Morskoye.
You can put up a tent next to your car right on the seashore. Traveling to Crimea by car with a tent, of course, needs to be planned and chosen for yourself convenient route, planning tent sites along the road, and where to stop for the night, of course, you need to plan so that you can get to the chosen place by car, and not then walk under the scorching sun.

Camp on the seashore near the village of Morskoye
There are small amenities - toilet, drinking water, shower. The area is clean.
In the evening, administrators come by and collect money - 100 rubles. from the car.
The best part is the silence. The sea is ten meters away, clean pebble beach. Even people from Sudak come here to swim.
If you need a store, you can walk or go to the village, 1 km from the vacation spot.
The village has campsites, hotels, entertainment, but there are also more people, which means more noise and loud music.
If you look at the sea, then to the left, on Cape Kabany, there is the Solnechny Kamen sanatorium. You can go there along the shore on an excursion. Very beautiful park with swings, flower beds, rare trees, a well-maintained beach with a shower.
Very clean, people are friendly, there are few holidaymakers in September.
You can climb the mountain, along a crumbling steep slope, next to the abandoned, unfinished boarding house of the Lipetsk plant, and walk along the top to the village of Morskoye.
Fyodor Bondarchuk also noticed this strange structure. He used it in the filming of his film "Inhabited Island".
So there are vineyards at the top. They are not visible from below. Due to the inaccessibility on this side, the vineyards are not protected. Almonds also grow there.
When you climb the mountain, don't forget to make a wish. The view is stunning of the sea and the rocks of Cape Kabanye. Wishes come true! Tested for myself.
From Morskoye you can make day trips on excursions, leaving your tent on the shore under the supervision of neighbors, and taking valuables with you.
And in the evening, cook delicious food, breathe sea air, swim, admire the sunset.
By the way, it is better to cook food on a stove with a gas canister. In Crimea there is a problem with firewood, as well as with drinking water... there are few rivers. But if you walk towards the Solnechny Kamen sanatorium, you can stumble upon a river that looks more like a stream, called Raven. I don’t know why this name is given. You can take it there process water. But, as mentioned above, there are no problems with clean water in this place. You can also spend it on cooking, drinking, doing laundry, and taking a shower. Nobody limits. And this is an important factor in the convenience of traveling with a tent by car.

Traveling around Crimea

Tarkhankut
After swimming and resting, you can continue your journey to the west of the Crimean Peninsula, to the westernmost Cape Tarkhankut. You can set up a tent anywhere: either closer to the rocks or to the sandy beach, the main thing is to have a supply of fresh water with you, and if you don’t have it, then stay closer to civilization, for example, not far from Olenevka. Undoubtedly, it will be interesting to visit the snow-white rocky slope of Atlesh with green-blue caves and Kastel Bay, where there are plants listed in the Red Book.

Cape Tarkhankut is several kilometers of coastline with beautiful bays, caves and grottoes, the water here is the purest - a paradise for diving.

It's great if you are interested in diving, windsurfing, kiting...or want to learn all this. There are all conditions for this.
And the road itself will be interesting. Especially the section of the old Yalta road. This is an extraordinary place! Beautiful serpentine from Yalta to Bakhchisarai. What views of the sea and rocks! The road winds through the forest to Ai-Petri, and descends in the same serpentine way. You feel like you are in a fairy tale, especially when you meet roe deer.
You can stop at Ai-Petri and admire the extraordinary landscape of central Russia. It's cool up there and there's constant wind. There are cafes and observation decks.
When you go down from the pass, the road will pass near unusual rocks. It was as if a giant wizard had thrown cobblestones. Be sure to stop in Bakhchisarai. There's a lot to see there. Khan's Palace, in which Pushkin saw the Bakhchisarai fountain. These amazing old streets. Monastery with a church carved into the rock. Cave city - Chufut-Kale.
Oh, what peaches they sell along the road right next to the peach orchards! But the peach season is July-August.
In Bakhchisarai you can buy fresh food supplies and continue on your way to Tarkhankut.
Interesting road between the cities of Saki and Evpatoria. A long, long, many kilometers long sand and pebble beach stretches along the sea. And the water is an amazing turquoise color. You can stop and swim and relax. You can park here for free and go camping.
Steppe Crimea is not a very beautiful sight. Sparse agricultural fields, and mostly semi-desert with scorched red rocky soil with sparse dry grass sticking out.
The roads are not very good. The path lies in the village of Olenevka. The village itself is quite civilized, you can rent housing here, but if you want to live on the shore in a tent, then you still need to drive about five kilometers to the seashore, where there are white cliffs with through holes, an underwater museum where boat services and diving equipment are provided.
In general, this place looks better from the sea. All the beauty comes mainly from there. On the very shore there is a bare, dry, rocky desert.
If you want privacy, then to the left of the lighthouse to the village of Olenevka stretches shallow water with an amazing rocky beach. All stones are “chicken gods” with holes, light, multi-colored.
The tents are located at a great distance from each other. Silence. The sea is very warm and clean.
Again, there is a problem with firewood and drinking water. Therefore, the best solution is a gas cylinder with a camp stove and a supply of drinking water.

Near Olenevka
Orlovka
From Cape Tarkhankut you can go to the village of Orlovka.

Orlovka village
Here is the most wonderful sand beach. A river flows into the sea, so there are no problems with technical fresh water.
Nearby are shops, entertainment, recreation centers.
The only inconvenience is the strong wind. It is difficult to keep the tent on the shore. But if you do everything correctly - secure it well, then relaxing here will be a pleasure! The water is clean, the sand is velvety, there are not many people.
Lyubimovka

Lyubimovka
Then you can go to Lyubimovka (it’s nearby), put up a tent and relax right on the seashore.
The shore is sandy and rocky, with an overhanging clay cliff that protects from the wind.
In Lyubimovka there are recreation centers and campsites, shops, and entertainment.
But relaxing in silence right on the seashore is great!
The same question - fuel and water. Take everything with you.
Sevastopol

Wild beach in Omega Bay
Oh, that's a different story. There are so many attractions there!
One day is not enough to see everything.
We stood with a tent in the city itself, in the “Letchiki” microdistrict, on the very shore of the sea, in Omega Bay.
From there we made trips by car to Malakhov Kurgan, Chersonesus, to Sapun Mountain, to the 35th battery, the Brotherly Cemetery of Soldiers - Defenders of Sevastopol, to the Black River in the Inkerman area, Cape Fiolent, etc. We walked along the embankment, looked at the city center, museums, panoramas .
Balaclava

Balaclava Bay
Great to go see Balaklava! Such beautiful bay! Closed from the sea (never stormy), with yachts different countries, moored to the shore, with amazing houses clinging almost to the water's edge. On the high slopes are the Genoese towers, which can be reached along numerous paths. Amazing views! And the feeling of such such antiquity!
Downstairs they sell souvenirs, there are many cafes, canteens, and food stalls. From Balaklava Bay you can take a boat ride to Zolotaya or Silver Beach. Swim there and return to the car on the same boat. Or take a tent, food, water with you and spend a few days on the seashore. This color of sea water can only be seen in films, thinking that it was filmed with special filters. But in fact, the sea here is real blue, turquoise.
Laspi
Then you can go to Laspi Bay between capes Sarych and Aya, and specifically to Batiliman.

Batiliman

Batiliman beach. The beauty here is extraordinary! Coordinates: Latitude 44°25′12″N (44.420068), Longitude 33°41′32″E (33.692098).
You can swim until mid-October - the warmest place.
Thousand-year-old junipers grow along the rocky shore.
You can put up a tent for free on any wooden decks that are placed along the slope among the trees.
The beach is very exotic, created by nature. Shards of rocks are in the water, you can swim them around. There are huge boulders and small pebbles on the shore.
To get down to this place by car, you have to maneuver along a narrow road, along the edges of which cars are parked near dachas, small hotels, and boarding houses. By the way, at the top, a little to the side, is Yanukovych’s dacha. The parking lot itself, where you can leave your car (you need to drive to the end of the road), is an amazing sight. The cars are parked close to each other. A telephone number is left on the windshield. If someone needs to leave the parking lot, they call, and the owner of the car comes and maneuvers to clear the road. Everything is permitted in a civilized manner.
A trip to Crimea by car with a tent is very exciting! Along the way, wonderful views of the sea and rocks open up all the time. Along the way you can stop in all the amazing corners and take excursions.
You can complete your trip to Crimea by car again, on the already familiar shore, near the village of Morskoye. Stay overnight, swim and go to the crossing.
It turns out that you have traveled almost the entire coast of Crimea.

In the official definition wild beaches– these are those that are not intended for mass recreation. Yes, this is true, but at the same time, there have always been many people who want to relax without traditional beach attributes - almost more than there are adherents of sun loungers, umbrellas and bar cocktails in conditions reminiscent of the best. The wild beaches of Crimea are shrinking every year due to the advancing civilization, but you can still highlight several of them - the most beautiful, popular and interesting!

5. Fox Bay: in wild solitude with nature

In fifth place in the ranking of the best wild beaches of Crimea worthy place occupied a bay located between mountain ranges Kara-Dag and near. Hidden from prying eyes, it attracts an informal public, young people and simply free-thinking citizens.

For lovers and newlyweds, nature itself has created a rare attraction - the so-called. It is also located in the Tarkhankut area and is a small depression framed by rocks over 4 m high with a delightful underwater tunnel. According to legend, if you jump into this natural pool together and do not unclench your hands, the couple will have a long life together. You can check this by coming to Crimea with your significant other and plunging into a natural pool.

1. Bakalskaya Spit is the best place for a wild holiday in Crimea

The TOP-5 is headed by a natural landscape reserve in the north-west of the Crimean Peninsula - a magnificent sandy strip of a huge paradise beach stretching for 12 km. On the map it looks like a kind of crescent, covering the bay of the same name.

For autotourists, the reference point is the village of Steregushchee, located 8 km from the beach. The right bank is flatter, the water here is always warmer, and the sea is calmer. On the left side there are high waves and stormy winds. Since the bay is shallow, swimming season here it starts a couple of weeks earlier than in other places.

Local holidays in Crimea on a wild beach attract entire families with small children who come here for sea baths and air saturated with salts that are healing for the respiratory system. Taking into account the possible night wind, experienced tourists advise setting up tents in the middle part of the spit, driving elongated (up to 50 cm) pegs into the sand.

Some spend a couple of days on the coast and go in search of new impressions and pictures. Others are happy to stay in one place for the entire vacation. It doesn’t matter what you choose: Crimea is so different that it can please everyone who comes here to relieve stress and relax or, conversely, to recharge solar energy and raise your tone. The beautiful wild beaches described above only confirm this fact!

A trip to the “savages” is a wonderful option to completely switch from your routine lifestyle and get an unforgettable experience and a boost of energy for the whole year. In addition, vacationing in Crimea with a tent by car will save significant money on travel. Not every tourist’s budget allows them to stay in a comfortable hotel or boarding house. This is not the only reason why you should prefer wild holiday. Many travelers enjoy being close to nature and away from big, noisy cities. Such tourists prefer to stay in campsites or choose little-known interesting places where they can stay with a tent and all their belongings.

In Crimea, you can stay anywhere except in protected areas and populated areas.

Relaxing at campsites involves an equipped beach area with a toilet, shower and fresh water.

If you choose a holiday in Crimea with a tent, the places and directions for this may be the following: New Sudak, Koktebel, Alushta and many others.

How to get there?

You can get to Crimea by various types of transport. But vacation in wild places involves traveling on own car. A trip by car makes it possible to visit different cities, swim at various beaches and explore all the most popular attractions in Crimea. In this case, there are no problems with luggage or unpleasant situations with fellow travelers. If you team up with friends, you can save on gasoline costs when traveling to Crimea.

However, when traveling with your own transport, there are some points to consider:

  • The road to Crimea is too long and will be difficult for one driver to drive.
  • There are many police officers on the roads, so speeding is not recommended.
  • Frequently congested routes.

All travelers by car will have to travel at the Kerch crossing. To ensure the speed of traffic flow, certain measures are being taken. For example, additional berths are being built and spacious ferries are being launched.

There are also special parking areas for vehicles. You can leave your car in the village of Ilyich or Slavyansk-on-Kuban, and then continue your journey by bus and ferry.

You can also cross to Crimea with your car by ferry.

Naturally, such a journey has its own difficulties, but they do not stop those who want to relax in Crimea.

What to take with you?

When traveling by car, you need to take necessary and useful things with you.

    • Flashlight;

  5. Food items worth taking include coffee, tea, sugar, salt, water, canned food, oatmeal and cookies.

There are many shops and markets in Crimea, so food can be bought everywhere.

What should you be wary of?

Crimea is safe place for vacationers. But wild recreation can inspire some fears, and here's why. First of all, when traveling outside cities, you can stumble upon packs of stray dogs. For these cases, there are special repellers.

Various insects and spiders are dangerous. Therefore, it is necessary to take various protective equipment.

Also in Crimea there is a possibility of encountering a snake, although very rare. It is worth remembering that if you are bitten by a snake, you should not apply a tourniquet, but you should immediately drink an antiallergic drug and consult a doctor.

Stormy days also pose danger. During a storm, it is not recommended to walk by the sea, much less swim. And you can’t go on a mountain hike in a rainstorm.

You should be careful with water; it is better to boil it once again.

Also, when traveling to Crimea, you should choose a safe place to stay overnight.
