Where to swim in Nha Trang without waves. Which Nha Trang beaches don't have big waves in October? North Beach in Nha Trang

So, have you already settled in Nha Trang using our tips? Then it's time to choose the best beach for your holiday.

The city is located right on the seashore, which makes local beaches almost equally accessible to vacationers with any budget: no matter what star hotel you stay in, the sea will always be nearby - no more than 15 minutes walk. In addition, all beaches are absolutely accessible to visit - choose any one to suit your taste.

Nha Trang - Big city, and its 500,000 people couldn't help but leave their mark on the water quality along the coast. In the morning, as a rule, it is crystal clear, but in the afternoon it can be cloudy and a variety of debris appears from somewhere. In addition, during the rainy season, a large amount of silt flows from the river into the sea, and the water at times turns brown. Even when the beach itself looks fairly clean, encountering trash is possible if you like to swim further away or snorkel.

In addition, we immediately note that surfing enthusiasts have nothing to do here. Even during the rainy season, the water in Nha Trang Bay is blissfully calm. And even unprotected beaches outside the city in the north and south will not please you either. There won't be any decent waves there either.

Main beach Nha Trang The beach stretches along the entire city, its length is about 7 kilometers.

It will delight you with clean white sand, blue waters, swaying palm trees and a pleasant promenade. A chic boulevard of coconut palms stretches along its entire length. Under your feet there are tiny fragments of shells, so the water there is clear and clean (most often only in the first half of the day). The entrance to the sea is quite flat, without a strong slope.

Since everything happens virtually within the city, it is very lively here. vendors sell kites, cotton wool, ice cream and coconuts, couples walk around, children on roller skates rush by, and there are a lot of locals. Public amenities include restrooms and small fountains along the sidewalk for rinsing off.

In the middle of the beach there is such a remarkable tower in the shape of a lotus.

The beach is municipal and therefore entry is free. But you will have to pay a little for sunbeds and umbrellas. There are two options: either you simply occupy one of the sun loungers belonging to the hotel (they will approach you as soon as you start staying there), or you go to Gorky Park. There you pay for a sunbed and can lie by the sea, go for a swim in the pool, or go eat at one of the restaurants at a discount. A regular sun lounger costs about 40-60,000 VND. Seats in the VIP area with soft mattresses and pillows with towels are already more expensive. A life jacket can be rented for 20,000 VND, a mask with snorkel for 30,000.

Where to find the cleanest sea in Nha Trang?

We have already said that the cleanliness of the water off the coast sometimes leaves much to be desired. What to do?

Go to expensive resorts outside the city, such as Six Senses Ninh Van Bay, An Lam Ninh Van Bay, Mia Resort or Amiana. They all have clean beaches. But these clean beaches, like these resorts themselves, are not even cheap.

The easiest and most cost-effective way is to take a boat to the nearby islands, where the water is guaranteed to be excellent. Everything will be great, except for the usual risks of sailing on the high seas. Every day, many boats depart from the coast, taking lovers of swimming in exceptionally clear waters.

If this option does not suit you, simply head along the coast to the north or south. North will be preferable.

The best and cleanest beaches in Nha Trang are located outside the city.

If you move from the very center of the city to the north, then there are clearly fewer people on the beach, it is much quieter and calmer here than in the center, free place Finding it is not a problem at all. There is calmness, relaxation and even some kind of drowsiness all around. Like in this photo.

Let's move on. 4 kilometers north of tourist center Nha Trang, passing by the Tran Phu bridge and the Hon Chong rock, you find yourself on a completely quiet and almost deserted section of the coast. By the way, from 6 to 19 hours you can get there by white and blue local bus No. 4. The interval between flights is about 20 minutes, the cost of the trip is 7,000 dong.

Since there are few tourists here and the beach is rarely cleaned, unfortunately, you can see some garbage brought by the sea on the shore. But this inconvenience is compensated by tranquility and loneliness.

There is also an excellent seafood restaurant just south of Hon Chong Rock. And if you climb this rock, you will see an amazingly beautiful view of the coast, the city and the bay.

Of the minuses, we note that the entrance to the sea here is not flat, the depth is large, so this place is recommended only for those who know how to swim well.

And finally, we’ll move even further north, but only by car.

Doc Let Beach is located 50 km north of Nha Trang. It is much calmer, cleaner and more beautiful than the city beach. Right on the shore, local fishermen will prepare seafood dishes for you at a very competitive price.

How to get here? You can take a taxi, or you can use the blue-white-yellow bus No. 3, which departs from the tourist center. It operates from 6:30 to 17:30, the trip takes just over an hour and costs 24,000 dong. You can stay anywhere on this beach or nearby the hotel where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers.

Now let's explore the southern beaches of Nha Trang.

Bai Dai Beach (or Long Beach). Located approximately 30 km south of the city on the road to the airport. In general, this road itself is very beautiful, the landscapes around are simply magnificent. And the beach is neat, clean and also very beautiful. There are also several small restaurants where you can enjoy tasty and inexpensive local seafood. There are jet ski rentals and you can go water skiing. The beach, as usual, is free, but you will have to pay for parking a motorcycle (if you didn’t come by taxi, then there is no other option).

Bai Duong Beach is located 1.5 km from the city if you follow Tran Phu Street. Soft sand, warmer water, and it’s also much calmer and cleaner here than in the city.

And last but not least - in the park entertainment Vinpearl It also has its own cozy small beach overlooking the city coast.

To visit this beach you need to buy a ticket to the amusement park for 600,000 VND. You get to the island by the world's longest cable car or by ferry. This beach is next to the water park. And since most of the island's visitors came here for entertainment, not for beach holiday, then it is almost always sparsely crowded here. You can rent a catamaran, try parasailing and kayaking.

So, the best and cleanest beaches with amazingly clean and clear water in Nha Trang are located outside the city. You can get there by bicycle, but it is better to take a taxi or a motorcycle, because riding a bicycle in the heat is not the most pleasant experience. Many of these beaches have no security, no showers or changing rooms, and the water is quite deep. So be careful and attentive and ready to fend for yourself on a deserted beach.

When looking for the best beach in Nha Trang, the choice is up to you.

What is the best beach in Nha Trang?

5 (100%) 1 vote[s]

Nha Trang is one of the most popular resorts Vietnam, where tourists come from all over the world. And it’s not surprising, because the beaches of Nha Trang offer a vacation for every taste: youth with club entertainment until the morning or real relaxation in the bounty style. In this article you will learn about all the beaches in the city and its surroundings.

Tran Phu City Beach

Of course, the most famous beach in this area. This beauty stretches for seven kilometers, and it is continuous light sand. Its color is due to the fact that it has a special structure, these are the smallest particles of sea shells. The sand is not as fine as in Phuket, but it is very pleasant, walking on it barefoot is a pleasure!

Along coastline There is a stunning embankment, from which you can go down to the beach. Although Chang Phu is located in the city center, there is a lot of greenery around. There are cute gazebos and benches. Everything around is clean park area and the beach is thoroughly cleaned, although there are leaves and tree branches on the sand. The beach is municipal, which means that from early morning local residents gather there to take morning exercise, do exercises or swim.

True, it’s not worth swimming here in winter. From November to March there is seasonal bad weather. The wind rises and drives the waves. Some daredevils, of course, decide to swim, but you definitely shouldn’t go to Chang Fu with children during these months. The rest of the time – beauty! The sand heats up in the sun; at lunchtime you will have to skip and skip to the sea barefoot. The bottom on Chang Fu is flat, gently sloping, the entry and depth are comfortable.

You can start trying Vietnamese cuisine right on the beach. There are a lot of different cafes and restaurants here, where they cook wonderful food, especially in the part of the beach where it is located. But those who have already missed European dishes can also find a suitable establishment. Russian tourists, for example, adore the Gorky Park restaurant.

Tran Phu beach in Nha Trang is replete with signs in Russian, even in the menu you can find Cyrillic.

Calm Paragon Beach

Unlike the city center, where huge waves often rise, this place is calmer. This is a hotel beach.

How to get to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang?

Anyone can take bus No. 4 (fare 7 thousand dong), which runs on the third line. You need to get off at the last stop, Vinpearl, and walk another fifteen minutes on your own two feet. First you go a little to reverse direction to the intersection and turn left there. Another option is to call a taxi from the terminal (costs approximately 80,000 VND).

In general, the journey by public transport takes about forty minutes. To get back, you need to come to the final stop. Often the bus is already accepting passengers or you will have to wait a maximum of a quarter of an hour.

Paragon Features

Paragon can hardly be called a beach in the literal sense of the word. If you look at the beaches of Nha Trang in the photo, it is immediately easy to recognize. It looks more like an artificial swimming pool natural environment. The coastal part of the sea is fenced off by a rock. That is, in any weather there are no waves or debris that washes up during a storm. The sand is light, so the water looks turquoise. The sandbank is wide, which means small children will be at ease here.

Some people miss the liveliness of sea waves. But the partitioned space is quite spacious, and there is no impression of enclosure. And during a storm, which can last for several days, it is better to swim in such a closed beach than to admire the ramparts of Chang Phu.

Before heading back, you can rinse your feet near the villa, which is located on the edge. Behind the fence near the pool there is a hose with a tap. Locals are not shy about washing their feet there, and tourists also use it.

The downside is the modest size of the beach, few sunbeds and umbrellas. 40 thousand dong to pay for entry (children are free) plus another twenty for access to the sea. There is nowhere to eat, because there is a cafe only at the entrance. It is better to take snacks and water with you if you are going to visit Paragon Beach (Nha Trang).

Picturesque Pearl Beach

This beach is quite far from Nha Trang. The most convenient way is to book an excursion (at a Russian travel agency it will cost about 33 USD including a snack). Now some travel agencies from Nha Trang bring groups of tourists here. It’s difficult to get there on your own; buses don’t run.

How is Pearl Beach different from others?

Pearl Beach in Nha Trang is little known, which means there are almost no people on it. It is located south of Nha Trang. Entrance to the hotel (which includes the beach) is paid - 50,000 VND. There is a restaurant on the water and a magnificent stone lighthouse. There are huge boulders, palm trees, wooden houses on stilts all around - the views here are unforgettable. It’s worth going at least once to take beautiful pictures. If you are planning to take photos of white sand beaches in Nha Trang, then come here.

Beach small size, but lovely. During the season, the water is clean, warm, and there are no waves even during the day, unlike Nha Trang. Natural umbrellas, made from palm leaves. If you book an excursion, you will be given drinks and fruit on the beach. But in winter, the water becomes dirty: in the off-season, a lot of bags and other garbage wash up on the shore.

The downside is that the infrastructure is not developed at all (except for a lone restaurant and hotel) and it is far from Nha Trang. Overall, a nice place where you will feel calm and at one with nature.

Fun Beach Louisiana

Where is it located and how to get there?

Strictly speaking, private beach called Louisiana no, this is a part of the city beach that belongs to the stunning cafe of the same name. Therefore, there is no point in writing separately about the sea - everything is the same as on Chang Fu. “Louisiana” is an establishment with its own brewery, so true lovers of the foamy drink flock here. Indeed, it has its own pool and beach. The cafe is located near the middle of the city beach.

You can get there on foot if you walk along the city beach to the side cable car(Vinpearl), by taxi, telling the driver the name of the restaurant, or by buses No. 2, 4 or 5. The stop is called “Central Beach”, then walk a hundred meters to the lotus.

What's on Louisiana Beach?

The restaurant offers visitors comfortable sun beds with mattresses and sun loungers right next to the shore. The area is clean and well-groomed. Despite the sale of alcohol, the area is calm and visitors are not rowdy. Security guards monitor the belongings of vacationers and drive away annoying local sellers.

Waiters at Louisiana Beach (Nha Trang) serve people along the entire perimeter of the beach, quickly bringing beer and snacks. If there are waves at sea, you can use the pool. Facilities also include fresh showers and toilets. The price for renting a sun lounger is less than two dollars, a glass of 0.6 liters of branded beer is more than $3. You can also come up with promotions: 3 times a week from noon to one and from four to five in the evening, when you buy two 0.3 liter glasses, the third one is poured for free. By the way, the beer is excellent! They give you free salted nuts with it, you just have to ask the waiter.

The Internet connection is good at the tables by the pool, but there are interruptions on the trestle beds. Among the shortcomings: you are asked to leave the sun loungers that are located by the pool after four in the evening, because the Louisiana staff is preparing the tables for dinner. The restaurant (like its beach) is open from seven in the morning until one in the morning. The downside is that it is quite expensive compared to other places.

Overall a nice place. No one runs up and checks to see if you took a drink so that you can get a sunbed and splash around in the pool. In the evening there is live music on Louisiana Beach.

Deserted Bai Dai

Translated from Vietnamese, Bai Dai (pronounced in Russian as Bai Zai) means “long beach.” It really is like that - it stretches for as much as 15 km. Was here before military base, it is 20 km south of Nha Trang.

Bai Zay Beach, Nha Trang – how to get there?

You can get there by renting a car or taking a taxi. You can negotiate with the driver: for 500 thousand dong you will pay for the journey from the city and back with a wait. This is a common thing in South-East Asia: the client is resting - the driver is waiting. Payment upon delivery in Nha Trang.

The beach, of course, is not as well-equipped as Chan Fu. There is natural debris everywhere: twigs, leaves, algae... But it’s not for nothing that Bai Zai is among the best beaches Nha Trang. An atmosphere of peace and spirituality permeates everyone. The sea is clean and calm (waves only in winter). There are few people, but the landscapes are mesmerizing.

If you got here with a rented car or motorcycle, you can leave them in the “parking lot”. This is a small area where you can leave your iron horse. Locals take a bribe of only VND 5 thousand - for this money they will act as security guards. You don’t have to worry about transport, because for residents this is one of the main types of income (except for selling seafood).

Entertainment and prices for Bai Dai

Bai Dai Beach in Nha Trang is great for surfing: in winter there is a decent wave. You can rent a surf: you will have to pay 180 thousand dong for an hour. They offer different boards to choose from; in poor English, the owner will explain which one is best suited for what purpose. They take money only after returning the board - they trust you.

There is infrastructure only at the very beginning of Bai Zai, on the city side. There are several cafes there. The menus of local restaurants offer translations of dish names into Russian. True, it is difficult to understand what a snapper or triggerfish is. And the owners often don’t speak a word of Russian. Local merchants are not yet spoiled by tourists; they are happy even with a tip of 20,000 dong. Prices are low and customer service is friendly.

Cafes go for miles wild beach with snow-white soft sand and crystal sea water. Locals remove marine debris at low tide. The Vietnamese don’t think much about recycling; they simply bury their finds in the sand. The entrance to the sea does not change depending on the tide: it remains flat, but the shallow water at low tide is small.

Fishermen are frequent guests here. They float on boats shaped like basins - it looks very authentic!

It is too remote beach where he doesn't go public transport. If you rent a bike, you can get from the center of Nha Trang to the beach in an hour. You have to be prepared that the traffic is crazy: on the road, trucks and trucks drive no worse than racers, and often motorcyclists rush into oncoming traffic. You will have to travel 65 km north of the city. You need to drive along the AN1 highway under your own power. When you see the Huyndai Shipyards sign, turn right.

Driving along the coast, you will see fishermen and smell the aromas of fresh fish. You will be convinced that your trip was not in vain. The place is magical, the kind you see in paintings. You can stay in a real bungalow. The owner is a man who is probably almost a hundred years old. For $65 a day you can live comfortably with three meals a day. Or you can pay for a one-time visit ($5).

You can drive between two hotels and in this no man's land everything will be free. If you are using a rented vehicle rather than a taxi, it is convenient to purchase gasoline from the locals. You will see green bottles at the front door of houses. Drinks can also be purchased. In general, “Jungle Beach” is a paradise! Clean beach, not loaded with people.

You can get to Vinpearl (by the way, it’s actually called Hon Che) by ferry by sea or by cable car. Of course, the second option is much more picturesque: you can admire the views of the sea and islands around. The cable car starts from central cash desk Vinpearl, near Nha Trang port. The cost of a ticket per adult is 800,000 dong (about $35). The price includes funicular travel (both directions) and entrance to all parts of the park.

Things to do?

The park is simply wonderful! There is a lot of entertainment, but you can easily get lost. We advise you to take free card and move along it.

Visitors to Vinpearl say that one day is not enough for a local amusement park; you will probably want to come again. There is an amusement park, an arcade, a shopping area with souvenirs and decorations (prices are higher than in Nha Trang), a water park, an electric sleigh, an aquarium, and even a fountain show!

On the beach - as always, White sand, crystal azure water (warmer than on the city shore), plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas and no problems with finding a place. You can rent a jet ski, the cost of this pleasure is about $44/hour.

By the way, almost all the beaches of Nha Trang have stunning sand, which is loved not only by tourists, but also by sand flies. Insect bites are not dangerous, but they are very itchy, and the wounds take a long time to heal. Local pharmacies have the remedies, just show the stings to the pharmacist and they will give you the medicine.

You should also be careful with the sun. On the Vietnamese coast, even those who usually only get a tan get burned. Don’t be lazy to use strong sun creams, and then the beaches of Nha Trang will leave you only pleasant memories.

The beaches and attractions of Nha Trang are marked on the map in Russian.

And finally - a video from Nha Trang.

The Vietnamese resort city of Nha Trang is famous for its long sandy beaches and developed tourism infrastructure. In this article we will introduce you to the popular beaches of Nha Trang, discuss which of them are more suitable for a relaxing holiday, and where it is better to relax with children, and tell you whether there really are beaches in Nha Trang without waves.

In many ways, the choice of a traveler depends on what type of holiday he prefers - active, with fun nightlife or classic relaxation, lying on the snow-white sand and contemplating natural beauty. Despite the fact that Nha Trang is a relatively young resort, there are quite a lot of beaches here, so everyone can choose a place to relax according to their own taste.

We have included the best beaches in Nha Trang in the list that you see below:

  1. "Zoklet."
  2. "Bai Dai."
  3. "Dai Lan."
  4. "Chang Fu."
  5. "Dream Beach"
  6. "Hon Chong."
  7. "Jungle Beach"
  8. "Nhu Tien."
  9. "Pearl".
  10. "Paragon".

Doc Let (“Zoklet”)

This is probably the most advertised beach in the city. Many tourists claim that they prefer only Zoklet beach. Nha Trang is a very picturesque town, and this beach looks like it came out of a commercial: fine white sand, rare palm trees along the shore and bright turquoise water...

It is located fifty kilometers from the center, so to get here you need to either book an excursion, rent a bike, or take bus No. 3. Zoklet Beach (Nha Trang) is well equipped: there are restaurants, shops, and hotels. There is a fee for renting sun loungers. The beach is quite large, almost ten kilometers long. The beach strip is wide and the entrance to the water is gentle, which attracts vacationers with children.

In restaurants and cafes located on the shore you can taste fresh seafood, lobster and national Vietnamese dishes. Sometimes it can be crowded here, but if you wish, you can always find a secluded place for a relaxing holiday.

Sometimes tourists coming here for the first time are interested in: “Where is Paradise Beach?” Nha Trang is a resort city, there are plenty of beaches here, and the notorious “Paradise” is just Northern part Zoklet beach, where the cozy family hotel of the same name is located.

Bai Dai

Twenty kilometers from the city there is a semi-wild Bai Dai beach. Nha Trang still remembers the terrible bloody war of 1964-1975. At the site where this beach is located today, there was an air force base. The infrastructure here is still poorly developed - there are very few hotels and shops, and the service, it must be said, is not up to par.

From the city you can get here by bike, a very common form of transport, or by taxi in a quarter of an hour. The beach attracts tourists with its sparse crowds (it is never too noisy here) and calm, clear water.

Dai Lanh

Not all beaches are located within the city limits. Nha Trang has big amount places for recreation that are distant from it at considerable distances. For example, “Dai Lan” is considered the most inaccessible for vacationers, since it is located at a distance of eighty-five kilometers from the city. Lovers of secluded relaxation and marvelous nature overcome this distance. There are almost no hotels here, and mostly locals relax on the coast. The beach is located in a small cozy cove, so the sea is always very calm here.

In the northern part of the beach there is a fishing village where you can stay in a guesthouse for a very modest fee.

Tran Phu City Beach

Probably in every resort town there are beaches (Nha Trang is no exception in this sense) that do not need advertising. This primarily concerns “Chang Fu”. This is undoubtedly the most popular and most visited beach in the city, which is a strip of sand almost seven kilometers long. You can get here from almost any area; the main landmark is Tran Phu Street. All public transport runs along it.

The beach is covered with coarse yellow sand mixed with small pebbles and shells. The entrance to the water is quite steep. It's always very clean and cozy here. Along the entire beach there is a very picturesque embankment with trimmed trees, exercise equipment, playgrounds and numerous cafes. Considered more comfortable South part beach There are sun loungers and umbrellas, and a variety of water activities are offered: jet skiing, banana boat rides, and parachuting. There are also small massage rooms located here. If desired, you can buy a wide variety of fresh fruits.

However, this city's favorite beach has its drawbacks. According to tourists, you won’t be able to relax in silence here - the beach is always very crowded, and there are quite annoying sellers and great amount tourists from Russia and the former republics of the Soviet Union contribute to the impression that you are on one of your native domestic southern resorts. This beach is not suitable for families with children, especially from October to March, when the waves are very high. Only very experienced swimmers can swim in such conditions.

Dream Beach

Did you know that there are “Russian” beaches in Vietnam? Nha Trang may offer you to visit one of them. "Dream Beach" is a section of the city coast located in Gorky Park. This is a real center of Russian life with cafes and swimming pools, attractions and various entertainments. Here you can drink a cup of aromatic coffee, taste borscht prepared by Vietnamese chefs, swim in a pool with crystal clear water, and watch a new film. Many consider this beach to be the best in the resort. The park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The beach is small (500 m), very clean and tidy. Recognized as the most comfortable in Nha Trang. Renting sun loungers, as on many beaches in the city, is paid. There is a VIP area with soft sun loungers and storage rooms. The disadvantages, judging by the reviews, include only a large number of vacationers from Russia, so anyone who wants to take a break from the company of their compatriots should better find another place.

Hong Chong

Very picturesque beach"Hon Chong" is located on the cape of the same name, which is very close to the famous city landmark - the Po Nagar Cham towers. The beach is very clean, quiet, but pebbly. Admission is free. From the top of the rocks surrounding the recreation area there is a stunning view panoramic view on neighboring islands. The infrastructure here is still poorly developed, but you can visit several eateries and cafes located along the shore.

This beach has undeniable advantages: white sand, very pleasant to the touch, clean clear water and a smooth entrance to the sea. This place is ideal for romantics, as well as those who prefer a secluded holiday. Local residents are here extremely rarely, and fishermen can only be seen early in the morning and in the evening.

It would be unfair not to mention the shortcomings. The beach, according to tourists, is still poorly equipped, and no one cleans it. It is known that several hotel chains bought part of the local coastline, so we can assume that in a few years there will be a magnificent resort area here.

Jungle Beach

The incredibly beautiful Jungle Beach is located in the village of Ninh Phuoc, sixty kilometers north of the center of Nha Trang. Vacationers here are offered trekking through the jungle, where they can observe the life of wild animals and birds. Directly on Jungle Beach for lovers active rest There is an opportunity to play beach volleyball, diving, surfing.

Nhu Tien

This is a magnificent well-kept beach with white sand, spreading palm trees, azure water and amazing scenery. “Nhu Tien” belongs to the Diamond Bay Hotel 4*, but anyone can visit it. From the center of Nha Trang there is a free shuttle to the beach, which contributes to its popularity among tourists. Here you can do yoga, kayaking, water skiing and banana boating.

"Pearl"

According to local residents, the most beautiful beach is located seventy-five kilometers from Nha Trang. It has a wonderful name - “Pearl”. It is covered with very soft and fine sand, the water is crystal clear and calm. However, we should not forget that the beach is located in a bay, and therefore at low tide the water sometimes stagnates.

Beaches of Nha Trang without waves: “Paragon”

In fact, there are several such beaches here. But we will tell you about the most popular of them. Paragon Beach (Nha Trang) is small, but its main advantage is the presence of breakwaters, thanks to which the sea here is always calm. This is a real natural pool.

The beach belongs to a private hotel, so you can relax here only when the hotel is not crowded with visitors. According to vacationers, Paragon Beach is more suitable than others for families with children - there are no waves, the shallow water warms up well. The disadvantages, judging by the reviews, include the small area, which makes it seem crowded. Despite the fact that sunbeds and umbrellas are paid for, there are not enough of them, there are not enough for everyone who wants them.

Nha Trang beaches: reviews from tourists

Most tourists who vacationed in Nha Trang are happy that they chose this resort. First of all, because here you have a unique opportunity to choose a beach to suit your taste: secluded and lively, almost within the city limits or at a decent distance from it, such as Zoklet. Tourists with children are unlikely to choose this really good beach, if only because the road to it takes about an hour and a half. In addition, most of the services here are paid, so a holiday with children will not be cheap, because kids want to try all the attractions.

Travelers like both the white sand and the crystal clear water of “Dai Bai”, but the holiday is overshadowed by the underdeveloped infrastructure and unkemptness of this area. Some consider shallow water a disadvantage, although for vacationers with children this is more of an advantage.

Let's sum it up

Of course, it’s up to you to decide whether to choose the central city beach of Nha Trang or go to more remote areas of the resort. In any case, you will have a great time, get some sun, enjoy swimming in crystal clear water and recharge with positive energy. In addition to the beaches we have listed, you can visit Southern Islands Nha Trang, where you can relax on the coast and explore the amazing underwater world.

This landscaped area by the sea is owned by the hotel of the same name with three comfort stars in the southern part of Nha Trang. Belongs to the elite village of An Vien, which is 6 km from the city center.

Important advantages of Paragon Beach:

  • closed area, which guarantees safety;
  • a small area that eliminates unnecessary noise and provides a calm atmosphere of secluded relaxation;
  • gently sloping shore, flat bottom, without sharp stones or whirlpools (an excellent option for children’s swimming);
  • the sea is warm, clean and transparent;
  • soft, fine sand on the shore.

But the main feature of Paragon beach is the calm sea, without waves, without storms and treacherous currents.

Beach in the north of Nha Trang

The beach in the northern part of Nha Trang is also quiet and uncrowded. There are not many waves, since the place is located in a “niche” between the mountains. The length of the Northern Beach is about 2.5 km. It begins behind Cape Hon Chong, on which it is located, where both tourists and locals love to take pictures.

Plots sandy shore, a narrow embankment, hotels, shops and a few cafes - that’s what North Beach is. The infrastructure of everyday life and entertainment here is less developed than in the city center, but considering that you can get to the beach in just 10 minutes and for 7 dong at the municipal one, this option for a place of marine leisure is quite acceptable.

In addition to the above places, we must not forget about hotels with private beach. Most 4* and all five-star hotels have their own beaches, free for guests, with a maximum number of amenities and a minimum of people. Eg, nice beach y and y Diamond Bay.

Beaches in the area

Bai Zai

The rest of the beach area has virtually no infrastructure.

25 km south of the city is the unusual Bai Zai Beach (originally Bai Dai Beach). Most recently, military bases were located on its territory, and ordinary visitors were prohibited from accessing this coastal zone. Echoes of the military past contribute to the fact that here you can still enjoy the silence, without the noisy crowd of vacationers.

The name itself is translated from the native language local residents language means “long beach”, which is quite appropriate, since the length of the section is about 15 km. The beach infrastructure has not yet covered the entire territory. Closer to the beach appears in pristine, wild beauty.

“Bai Zai” attracts tourists with clear sea water, playing in the sun with shades from turquoise to aquamarine, snow-white sand and almost always calm sea (during the dry season). But in the rainy season, “Bai Zai” will delight fans aquatic species sports, especially kitesurfers, with the vivacity of the sea waves.

Zoklet

There is a lot of natural shade from trees on the beach, so hiding from the sun will not be difficult

Moving in the opposite direction from Bai Zay (north of Nha Trang), covering 50 km, you will reach Doc Let Beach. It is also not distinguished by an abundance of sun loungers and crowds of vacationers. Still, the distance from the city takes its toll. But those who are not stopped by fifty kilometers will truly see beautiful beach all over Vietnam.

The nature here is very colorful and bright. Therefore, photographs taken in this place are not inferior in beauty to advertising images from elite resorts.

The coastal area is 6 km long, the coast is flat. Numerous vegetation along the beach creates natural shade, protecting from the scorching sun.

Delightful sunsets are a godsend for romantic lovers. Actually, Doc Let Beach is very popular with married couples and newlyweds.

The disadvantage in the winter season is the stormy wind, which lifts fine sand into the air. Therefore, owners of expensive photographic equipment should take care to protect it from contamination by flying grains of sand.

Jungle Beach

Jungle Beach

Another diamond in the necklace of Nha Trang beaches is Jungle Beach and its twin brother Wild Beach (immediately after the first). Calm, cozy beach located on the Heo Peninsula, in its eastern part. It is separated from the city by 60 km.

The main advantage of this place is its pristine exotic beauty and the richness of local vegetation. Lovers of “sea, palm trees and sand” will enjoy them to the fullest.

Not far from the beach and from nearby hotels there is a wonderful market where they sell. Visiting early in the morning, you can buy culinary creations national cuisine.

The water temperature in the sea rarely goes below 24 degrees, even during the rainy season, so swimming here is always comfortable.

Although there are only two hotels near Jungle Beach, their prices are moderate. The package of services provided by one of them - Homestay Jungle beach for 600 thousand VND - includes, in addition to accommodation, three meals a day and the use of sun loungers and sports equipment.

Those who not only like to bask on the beach, but also enjoy architectural sights, can go to Pearl Beach. It takes 80 km to get there towards the city of Cam Ranh, but the journey is worth it. The charming ones compensate for wasting time on the way mountain landscapes and exotic vegetation.

The peculiarity of Pearl Beach is that not far (20 km) from it there are the legendary Pagoda for the Atonement of Sins “Tu Van” and a unique tunnel – “Dragon Labyrinth”.

Entrance to the beach is paid for everyone except visitors local hotel Ngoc Suong, who owns it. You can eat at the restaurant on the water.

It’s easy to get to Pearl Beach on your own. It costs 100-150 thousand dong + fuel (22-23 thousand dong per 1 liter). You need to follow it towards the city of Cam Ranh along the TL657I highway, and then along the AH1, then turn left onto Bình Lập. The second option is (the trip will cost $70). The third option is to buy sightseeing tour, which costs from $30 per person, including lunch and visits to local attractions.

Islands

The highlight of Nha Trang is that it offers tourists not only relaxation on the beaches in the mainland area. Attract visitors and amazing beauty coastal areas on the islands.

Swallow Island

It is appropriate to dilute swimming and entertainment on city beaches with a visit to nearby islands. First of all, it should be noted that this is a real paradise nest for both birds and tourists -. These birds really live on the island. The Vietnamese collect their nests and prepare them as a gastronomic delicacy - tasty, satisfying and healthy.

In addition to swallows, the island’s special feature is its coral reefs, home to a huge number of unique fish. And, of course, clean, warm sea water will certainly make you want to swim, and the gentle sun will make you want to bask in its rays on the beach.

South and North Islands

Southern Nha Trang Islands

Worth visiting near Nha Trang. There are 19 of them in total, but the most popular of them are 3: Hon Mun, Hon Tam and Hon Mieu, which are located at the closest distance to the city. The southern islands are chosen by those who like a quiet, quiet holiday.

But fans of active sea leisure give preference. The islands of Monkeys and Orchids are the most beloved by tourists.

Getting to these delightful holiday destinations is easy. Every hour from the port to the two most famous northern islands boats depart.

The main advantages of these territories are indicated by their names. Staying at one will give you a lot of pleasant impressions from the show with the participation of monkeys, while at the second you will be able to enjoy the colorful blooming of orchids. Moreover, this spectacle can be observed here at any time of the year, thanks to the abundance of plant varieties that bloom at different times.

Vinpearl

Vinpearl Beach

The beach at . will provide visitors with a real fireworks display of emotions. The main “treasure” is the amusement park, where a huge number of bright attractions are concentrated:

And after time actively spent in the park, it’s nice to relax on local beach. Sand, white as snow, is imported from the mainland. And the sea here is special and enchanting, which is inherent in everyone resort areas fabulous Vietnam.

I'll tell you about the south of Nha Trang, or rather about Paragon Beach in Nha Trang and cottage village An Vien, on whose territory this beach is located. In winter, there are often storms in Nha Trang, the sea does not become swimmable due to strong waves, so many tourists are looking for a beach in Nha Trang without waves. Paragon Beach is exactly like this: due to the breakwater built along the shore, a small backwater is formed, in which the sea is always calm.

Where is Paragon Beach

Paragon Beach is located in the south of Nha Trang, near the cable car station to Vimperl, on the territory of the An Vien cottage village, about 6 km from the tourist center of Nha Trang. Exact location Paragon Beach on the map at the bottom of the article.

Paragon Beach Nha Trang: how to get there

Getting to Paragon Beach in Nha Trang is very easy, because... There is public transport to the cable car station at Wimperl! (yes, in Nha Trang, unlike most other resorts in Asia, comfortable buses travel around the city). So, you can get to Paragon Beach by:

  • Bus number 4. It runs from 5:30 to 18:30 approximately once every 20 minutes. You can take it towards Paragon at equipped stops: on the third line of the European quarter, at the stop opposite Patrick Wine Bar, at the stop opposite Gorky Park. Fare 7,000 dong
  • By taxi. A taxi from the European Quarter to Paragon Beach will cost approximately 80,000 – 100,000 dong one way
  • On a rented bike. The cost of renting a bike in Nha Trang is from 100,000 VND per day + gasoline

If you decide to get to Paragon Beach by bus, then you need to get off at the final stop and walk a little forward to the entrance to the village of An Vien. Despite the fact that there is a guard at the entrance, entry to An Vien territory is free. Through the territory of the village to the beach itself, walk another 800 meters in the hot sun. There is no shadow!

An Vien Nha Trang village

Before we talk about Paragon Beach itself, a few words about the village of An Vien Nha Trang, on whose territory this beach is located.

An Vien is an elite cottage community with wide deserted streets, atypical for Nha Trang, and pretty white villas and houses. Some villas look almost like palaces :) Wealthy Vietnamese who live in and buy houses here, and the offices of some companies, for example our tour operator Pegas, are located here. A lot of houses are rented out for long periods of time.

Despite the constant construction, An Vien is very quiet and uncrowded; on the wide roads you can learn to ride a bike or rollerblade; it’s nice to stroll along the small promenade along the sea in the late afternoon, when the heat subsides.

In the village there is a European kindergarten (or school?): Kid Castle International School.

As for housing prices in An Vien, the situation is as follows: a house with 4-5 bedrooms can be rented for 1000 – 1500 dollars per month under a long-term contract, a house with 2 bedrooms - for 500-800 dollars per month. Of course under contract from of the year.

Some Russian centenarians make a small “business” out of this: they rent a house with five bedrooms for ~$1,200 a month, live in one of the rooms themselves, and rent out the other four for $250-350 a month. It turns out that they not only pay off the cost of renting a home, but also earn a little money :)

The biggest disadvantage of An Vien village is the almost complete lack of infrastructure. In the vast territory we saw only one cafe + pizzeria at the entrance to the complex. There are no layouts with water-fruits here, i.e. For every little thing you have to go to the city. Here it is far from the same as in the European region of Nha Trang: you leave the apartment, and in a couple of steps everything you need for life: cafes, fruits, juices, shops with water and beer, etc. and so on. Those. despite the fact that An Vien is an elite village, a lot of things here are not thought out, and are not very well maintained, unlike, for example, near Mumban (Mumban is a village), where there is always a free swimming pool and a fitness room, as well as shops and cafe.

Paragon Beach got its name from the hotel it belongs to - Hotel . I read somewhere that this beach was made specifically for this hotel and for some reason they built a breakwater perpendicular to the shore, which forms a natural pool with sea water. But in our opinion, this place was intended as a parking lot for yachts, which, according to the plan, were supposed to be owned by the inhabitants of the elite village of An Vien. But there are not many yachts here, so we decided to equip the beach :)

Paragon Beach: a breakwater has been built parallel to the shore. Most likely this place was supposed to be a mooring for yachts of wealthy residents of the village of An Vien

Be that as it may, Paragon Beach is now a popular holiday destination among tourists and long-livers with small children, because it is the only beach without waves in Nha Trang winter period(although, to be honest, it doesn’t happen year after year even now, in November, central beach Nha Trang is quite suitable for swimming; we can say that there are no waves).

The sand on Paragon beach is very fine and almost white, the entrance to the sea is gentle, it is very shallow here, we are uncomfortable swimming, we love the deep sea. But for those who can’t swim, this is the best :)

Very shallow sea at Paragon Beach

Entrance to Paragon Beach is paid - 20,000 dong (~ $ 1) per person. If all the sunbeds are not occupied by guests of Paragon Villa Hotel, then you can rent a sunbed under an umbrella for 60,000 VND (~ $3).

For 3 dollars you can rent a sun lounger under an umbrella.
And these are sun loungers and umbrellas from the Paragon Villa Hotel

Unfortunately, there is no other beach infrastructure on Paragon: toilet, shower, etc. and so on. are missing.

Conclusions and reviews
