Where to go on vacation on a budget. In Russia they want to earn more from foreign tourists - and to do this, they want to simplify the visa regime. Napra in Abkhazia - an inexpensive recreation center with three meals a day

Seaside holidays can be organized not only in Egypt and Turkey. It is quite possible to have a great time in Russia, especially since it has certain advantages - the cost of living is low, the service has improved to European standards, and there is no language barrier.

There are many seas in Russia, so it is possible to visit different parts of the country, getting acquainted not only with their nature, but also with some attractions.

Where is the cheapest seaside holiday in Russia in summer?

Black, Azov, Baltic and Caspian Sea. At each of them you can find inexpensive but comfortable places for guests.

Cheap resorts in the South

The south of the country is the Black and Azov Seas. , Novorossiysk, Yeisk, Gelendzhik - these cities, of course, are attractive to tourists - developed infrastructure, plenty of entertainment, high-level service. But they are also the most expensive for vacation, so it’s worth choosing small ones southern villages

, which are rightfully considered resorts. There are several that are most promising in terms of holidays.

Arkhipo-Osipovka A village on the Black Sea coast, located in a bay and protected from the winds by mountains. This amazing place

: a lot of tourists come here, but they somehow “dissolve” throughout the populated area, so there are no large concentrations either in the amusement park, or in canteens and cafes, or on the beach.

Vacationers can stay in hotels and guest houses; there is always the opportunity to use private services - the cost of a bed ranges from 400 to 600 rubles, depending on the season.

This settlement invites its guests to visit the Museum of Wine and Bread, a miniature oceanarium, and a children's water park.

There is also a lot of entertainment on the beach and embankment: a boat trip to the open sea with swimming, fishing with the obligatory catch of stingrays (by the way, they are very tasty baked) and sardines, banana/cheesecake rides, a lot of attractions, a dolphinarium and a crocodile farm.

If you get really bored, then at any time you can go to Gelendzhik - a large resort town.

Separately, it is worth mentioning cafes and canteens. Many visitors from big cities believe that in terms of prices there is communism here. A 3-course lunch per person costs 400 rubles, and the choice of such “catering” establishments is simply huge.

If you plan to independently decide on the food program, then you can use online markets with quite reasonable prices for products. Villages near Anapa There are several of them: Bolshoi Utrish, Blagoveshchenskaya village, Vityazevo, Sukko. All of them are located within 20 km from Anapa and only Blagoveshchenskaya is 40 km away. It's quite quiet resort villages

, which can offer vacationers and

clean beaches , and shops, and entertainment., Bolshoi Utrish is famous for its Zhemchuzhny waterfall and stationary dolphinarium; a special attraction is the hundred-year-old lighthouse, which still performs its functions. There is the main village beach here, and literally 1 km from it there is a nudist beach. Lovers

quiet places

and tranquility will definitely appreciate the cost of living in this village - 500 - 700 rubles per person in the private sector and 700 - 1000 rubles in a hotel. Food is not included in this price, but the developed network of cafes and canteens will not leave anyone hungry.

There is much less choice here, but according to reviews from those who have already visited them, it is worth paying attention to Kuchugury, Ilyich and Peresyp. It's small and cozy settlements , which have everything for:

  • comfortable rest sandy beaches
  • with a flat bottom;
  • shallow sea depth is the best option for children;
  • local markets with fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and dairy products;

grocery and souvenir shops.

There are also small amusement parks and various “entertainment” activities on the beach – from cheesecakes and “bananas” to water slides.

The cost of living is “magical” - you can rent a house in Ilyich for 1500 - 3000 rubles per day, a little cheaper in Peresyp - up to 2500 rubles. Such houses have everything you need for a comfortable stay: household appliances, amenities, bed linen, towels, dishes, in the courtyards there is a barbecue grill, a gazebo, and often a bathhouse or sauna. In Kuchugury it is cheaper to use the services of a private owner - you can rent a bed for 250 - 500 rubles per day. The issue of food will not arise: there are cafes with canteens, grocery stores, and

local residents

consistently supply tourists with homemade products. Thrifty in the Caspian Sea The Caspian Sea should have been called a lake, since it does not have access to the ocean. But this natural reservoir is too large in size, and the climate is completely marine. As a result, the Caspian Sea became one of the places

summer holiday

with a slightly developed infrastructure, but with the opportunity to have a quality holiday with children, the cost of living in the private sector is from 250 rubles per day per person; Kaspiysk is a fairly developed settlement in Dagestan, all hotels are guarded, so tourists are not in danger; the cost of living in a double room under the all-inclusive program starts from 1,350 rubles per day.. In these cities, every guest is valued, he is provided with a comfortable and safe stay, and a lot of historical attractions and the beauty of nature make the vacation not only useful, but also educational.

On the Baltic Sea coast there are also small villages - Morskoye, Lesnoye and Rybachy. But the cost of living in them will start from 1,500 rubles per day per person. There are very few hotels in these villages, so it is advisable to stay in Zelenogradsk and make mini-trips from there.

Recommendations for organizing a cheap summer holiday on the Russian seas

  • Cheaper vacations will be where there are not a large number of vacationers. It is better to look for small settlements. The infrastructure in them may not be as developed as possible, but it is quite acceptable.
  • If you can’t live without noise and fun, then in large resort towns you should choose housing at some distance from the sea. The cost will be cheaper, and public transport in such places works perfectly.
  • A cheap summer vacation at sea is one in which the food problem is solved independently. Rooms with shared kitchen are inexpensive anywhere resort town, they are all equipped with TV and air conditioning, but may lack amenities (showers and toilets will be outside).
  • Do not be afraid of Dagestan - in this republic the security system of hotels and hotels that have their own access to the sea beaches works well. But a vacation in the Caspian Sea will really be cheap both in terms of the cost of accommodation and the price of lunches, excursions, and souvenirs.

Summer holidays at sea are becoming accessible to the majority of the population. It is worth making an effort in advance to choose a specific place, book a room or room in the private sector. With this approach, you will be able to have a quality rest without emptying your bank account.

There are many cheap vacation spots in the world, and some even fully justify their “cheap price”, in the sense that you don’t want to vacation there at any cost. But in this huge list, there are also real pearls, interesting and pleasant places, travel to which will not burden your budget and will bring maximum pleasure from your trip. We've chosen the 10 best places in the world for a budget holiday, where you can have a great holiday and never cease to be amazed at how cheap it is.

Hoi An, Vietnam

A man who has never planned independent travel to Vietnam, most likely, I have never heard of Hoi An, and if I did, I would confuse it with Hanoi. Leaving behind Hanoi the place of the cheapest city in Asia, the majority choose Hoi An, which is much more interesting and pleasant, but not much more expensive.
Arriving in Hoi An, one cannot help but note the fairly high quality of food and drinks in many restaurants with menus in English, aimed at tourists. By dining in establishments for locals, with plastic furniture, you can save a little, but given the general price level, most tourists prefer to visit places with a more comfortable and cozy atmosphere.
Hoi An as a whole looks lovely, and lovers can easily keep themselves busy for a day or two with a variety of inexpensive excursions, but the kitchen steals the show. There are many excellent Vietnamese restaurants in the city, and in most of them a main dish will cost from 70 to 150 rubles. Here you can also try the cheapest beer in the world, “bia hoi”, for about 5 rubles per glass. By the way, beer is especially cheap here, and the cheapest one is local La Rue, but you can also order Heineken brewed in Asia. Wine costs relatively a lot, but those who are not tempted by beer will be consoled by the moderate prices for cocktails. Vietnamese vodka is sold in bottles at incredibly low prices.
The old part of the city looks more like a Chinese fishing village from a revived museum, in which almost every second shop is a cheap sewing workshop. Tours to Michonne and other nearby towns are offered at every turn, including right at the counter in the hotel lobby and in many scattered travel agencies in the city center. In general, prices are about the same everywhere, but it can't hurt to haggle.

If you want to go wild, you can find a place with manicured lawns and a swimming pool, reasonable prices for any budget.

If you are planning to come during the winter holidays, it would be a good idea to book your place as early as possible, because in many decent and most popular hotels, all rooms are sold out many days or weeks in advance, so if you know where you want to go, it is better to book in advance.
Hoi An has a typically tropical climate, with distinct dry and rainy seasons, and temperatures fluctuate slightly throughout the year. Goa, India

It's true, prices for holidays in Goa are last years grow too quickly, but whoever gets there will receive a generous reward. The former Portuguese colony lacks the craziness that usually afflicts travelers to India, but instead has beauty and peace, plus amazing beaches.
Recently, more and more hotels have opened in Calangute and Baga in North Goa with completely non-Goan price lists, but with this unfortunate exception, almost everywhere in Goa you can find cheap accommodation. The relaxed yet exciting hippie city of Anjuna still has plenty of hotels from around RUB 350 a night, with dinners around RUB 70 with a large bottle of Kingfisher beer for about the same price. Different parts of Goa are oriented towards different types travelers, so the whole point here is to decide on the most suitable one for yourself.

It gets really hot in April, and the monsoon season begins in June, bringing with it heavy downpours that stretch until mid-August. Chiang Mai, Thailand

Bangkok may be a budget and undoubtedly captivating city in itself, but Chiang Mai, located in the north of Thailand, is even better. You want to stay in Bangkok for a few days, but leave time to visit Chiang Mai, where the weather is more stable, dozens of beautiful temples and many shops with much cheaper souvenirs and clothing than in the capital of the kingdom.
Chiang Mai is the second largest and most popular historical city Thailand after Bangkok. And the prevailing atmosphere here is very different from what you may have already seen in Thailand, even if you ignore the picturesque mountain landscapes around. The city has excellent food, and any of the many small restaurants in the tourist area will serve you a multi-course lunch for 150 rubles. Most attractions here are either free or very cheap, so travelers can safely spend most of the remaining money on inexpensive souvenirs. Food and drink are available to suit all budgets, with the lowest prices found in the many street cafes and local restaurants.

Despite the mountainous terrain, the weather in Chiang Mai is very similar to the weather in coastal cities South-East Asia. The hottest month is April, and high humidity can make the heat simply unbearable. The city cools down slightly during the wet season from May to October, with rain falling in daily showers but rarely turning into a lingering drizzle. From November to February the weather is relatively moderate, so it is best to come on vacation during this period.

Cairo, Egypt

Definitely, Cairo today should be classified as “depending on the news”; in fact, the situation in the city is only encouraging lower prices for flights and good hotels in the tourist area. But even when things are quiet in Cairo, you can find plenty of amazingly cheap deals for budget travelers; suffice it to say that hotel prices start from 500 rubles.
Cairo – perfect place for poor travelers. This is one of those places with one way or another parallel worlds that provide a wide choice for lovers luxury holiday, while offering independent tourists good hotels with meals at very reasonable prices.
What you really have to be wary of in Egypt is intrusive street service, since tourists are usually surrounded by a crowd of “helpful” locals whose relatives sell the cheapest cruises on the Nile or best tours to the Great Pyramids. The best thing is to resist their pressure, study the market a little and hire a car with a driver for the whole day for about 800 - 1000 rubles for three.
Prices for tours and excursions from Cairo can always be reduced by 50%, and if you're lucky, even 70%, so be prepared to haggle. You can hire a driver and car for the day for a shockingly low fee, but don't be surprised how often he'll stop at the souvenir displays and restaurants from which he takes his cut.
By European standards, food here costs very little, especially if you visit places where locals frequent, and not tourist establishments where the menu is English language. Alcohol is not served everywhere, but on every corner there is a small wine shop where you can choose from several types of cold beer, which is easy to take with you for lunch.

BUDGET

Taxi from the airport to the city center - 215-450 rubles
Bus from the airport to the city - 10-15 rubles
Taxi in Cairo - 10-15 rubles per 1 km trip
Subway fare: 5 rubles

WHERE TO LIVE. BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN CAIRO HOTELS
Hotel seasons in Cairo are closely related to the weather; prices usually reach their maximum from December to April, and their minimum from June to August. If you are planning to come to the winter vacation, we recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible.
In hotels of upscale international chains, prices vary significantly, but in the market for local and independent hotels and hotel chains everything is stable. Often a 2-star hotel in downtown Cairo is located in what was once a much more expensive but worn-out establishment, allowing for significant savings if you're happy to stay in a room that has seen better days.
If you decide to book a hotel on the spot (we do not recommend it), then it is better not to rely on taxi drivers waiting at the airport, since you never know where you will end up if you cannot provide the driver with the address of the hotel where you booked a room in advance. It is still preferable to book a room for at least the first night.

Despite its desert location, from November to April the temperature in Cairo is very comfortable, and at night it can even be a little cold. From May to October the daytime can be a bit uncomfortably hot, especially considering the humidity that descends on the Nile Valley at this time of year. Summer nights in the city are great, but daytime sightseeing can get expensive. It almost never rains in Cairo, so save space in your luggage by removing your umbrella and raincoat from your suitcase.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is another place where, when choosing hotels, you may get the impression that accommodation there has become quite expensive. In addition, Bali has recently suffered from its own popularity and the growing number of travelers, as evidenced by traffic jams that eat up a significant part of the time allotted for excursions. Yes, it is true, over the past 5 years a lot of things on the island have become more expensive, but you can still find hundreds of places that still offer lovely rooms starting from 700 rubles per night. So, despite the disadvantages of popularity, Bali remains a fantastically profitable place to travel, at least for those who do not care about staying in hotels of fashionable international chains, and in this case Kuta is the best place. The city is known as the island's surfing and nightlife capital, attracting independent and budget-conscious travelers from all over the world.
However, the surrounding landscapes and local way of life continue to astound those who come to enjoy one of the most unique and easily accessible cultures in the world. The food here is simply excellent, it’s not difficult to find a place where lunch will cost about 100 rubles, and something really tasty, and sometimes fashionable, will cost not much more. Local beer, made from the sap of palm inflorescences, is considered the cheapest drink in Bali, and it is really popular, although you can taste cheap cocktails at popular bars.
Sitting on the beach (watching the endless stream of trinket vendors and homegrown masseurs) is considered the main local entertainment, and, of course, it's free. For a small fee, you can rent a surfboard and even get some lessons for less than most other surf spots.

BUDGET

Taxi from the airport to Kuta - 100-170 rubles
Bemo from the airport to Kuta - 20-35 rubles
Taxi in Kuta - 13-17 rubles per 1 km trip

WHERE TO LIVE. BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN BALI HOTELS
Hotel prices start shockingly low, although the cheapest options have no air conditioning, cheap furnishings and obvious need for renovation. If you're a minimalist, you'll have plenty to choose from. If you prefer a split system to a fan, then the price of the room will increase, although there are still many great deals, unless you come during the winter holidays.
Like many others tropical islands, highest intensity tourist season in Bali reaches during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The second peak in hotel prices in Bali occurs in August and September, when many Europeans go on vacation.
The transition season for Bali hotels can be considered the period from April to July, and the low season lasts from January to March and from mid-September to December.
Many cheap hotels and private hotels do not change prices throughout the year, while many 3-star or more expensive hotels prices fluctuate incredibly, and if you come out of season, you can stay very well. There are no hostels with dormitory rooms in Kuta, but the abundance of private and inexpensive rooms in private hotels is such that there is simply no need for dormitory rooms.

WHEN TO GO. BEST TIME TO VISIT BALI
It is not surprising that the air temperature in Bali, located almost on the equator, remains almost unchanged throughout the year. As in other tropical countries, everything is determined by the alternation of wet and dry seasons. The wet season lasts from November to March, and during this time rain can be expected almost every day, and if it does come, it pours like buckets or even stands like a wall. If you get caught in the rain, you will definitely need shelter, although showers here rarely last more than 30 minutes, so the main thing is to wait out the rain, and then you can do whatever you want.
During the dry season from April to November, there is much less rainfall, but the air is still humid, so regardless of the time of your trip, we recommend bringing plenty of T-shirts from home if you do not want to spend money on them on the Indonesian island.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Siem Reap serves as a gateway to the neighboring Angkor Wat complex, and it should be expected terrible place, which you have to put up with in the hope of getting to the amazing temples, but in reality it turns out to be a nice little town that is nice to relax in if you have some free time. Hotels in Siem Reap range from very cheap to world class, with the quality at the lower end generally being quite good. In Siem Reap you can also find the cheapest hostels in the world.
It's true that visiting the Angkor Wat temple complex, which lies north of the city, is probably the most expensive tourist attraction in the entire region, but once there you can understand why it costs so much, and that it is truly worth it. Thrifty travelers can purchase a ticket for a one-day excursion, which gives the right to visit the complex in the evening of the previous day, which will allow you to explore the place without unnecessary haste. After purchasing a tour for one day, three days or a week, you can enjoy unfathomably low prices on everything else.
One might think that a city built as a stopover for trips to a world-famous landmark would be full of unscrupulous businessmen and stupid souvenir shops. There's a bit of both, but otherwise it's a nice, laid-back Cambodian town that would be lovely on its own, even without the Angkor Wat complex next to it. Food and drinks in the city are quite cheap and pleasant high quality and the amazing variety of establishments on Pub Street and the adjacent alley. Particularly pleasing is the draft beer and the presence of “happy” hours in almost any cafe, but at reasonable prices you will also be offered wines, strong alcohol and exotic cocktails. In dozens of establishments advertising Special offers, during happy hours the norm is lunch for less than 100 rubles, washed down with a glass of Angkor beer for 20 rubles.

BUDGET

Siem Reap has an almost tropical climate, the heat lasts all year round, only alternating wet and dry seasons. The most better weather is established from mid-November to February, and at this time the city is most lively. From March to the end of May, daytime temperatures go through the roof.
The wet season brings heavy rain for about an hour every day, but if you are unlucky, the downpour can last for several hours at a time. IN temple complex Angkor Wat is practically impossible to hide from the rain, so visiting during the height of the rainy season can be quite a risky undertaking.

Cusco, Peru

Cusco is the most Big city in the vicinity of Machu Picchu in Peru, as well as excellent launch pad for excursions to the famous hill. This makes Cusco practically the twin brother of Siem Reap described above. Regardless of how you get from Cusco to Machu Picchu, you will have to spend a lot; A package one-day excursion by train now costs about 5,000 rubles.
What Cusco really resembles Siem Reap is that it is an absolutely wonderful city in itself and popular place backpackers hanging out where they are willing to spend weeks on end. The abundance of hostels and cheap hotels means that finding cheap accommodation won't be too difficult, and that's not even to mention the very good local food, cheap booze and nightlife. The place is worthy of a visit in itself, but visiting Cusco and not visiting Machu Picchu is blasphemy, so consider your expenses in advance.
Considering that most people only know Cusco as a stopover on the way to Machu Picchu, it's a little surprising how charming, gorgeous and interesting place the city turns out to be real. Some parts of traveling to Cusco and Machu Picchu can seem incredibly expensive, so it's a good thing that many other things are very cheap here.
A flight from Moscow to Cusco and even to Lima will be expensive (round-trip flight prices start at 60,000 rubles), and a train to Aguas Calientes (if you prefer a one-day excursion) or a tour along the Inca Trail (you have to walk) are much more expensive than you might expect, so prepare in advance.
Food and drink in Cusco is also cheap, with an endless string of restaurants and bars keeping prices competitive. Beer is especially popular here, and its price is quite reasonable compared to prices at home.

BUDGET

Taxi from the airport to the city center - 135-200 rubles
Taxi in Cusco - 11-20 rubles per 1 km trip
Trip to Machu Picuchu and back by train - 4,750-26,000 rubles

WHERE TO LIVE. BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN CUSCO HOTELS
Hotels in Cusco are for the most part very cheap, although quite high quality. Several hostels catering to backpackers have recently opened, although it’s almost pointless to skimp on accommodation given local prices.
Hotels in Cusco fill up during the high season, which runs from May to October. This is the dry season when Machu Picchu and the Inca Trail are most popular. During this period, it will not be a bad idea to book a room in advance, especially if you want to stay near the city center, in the vicinity of Plaza de Armas. Cusco continues to grow in all directions, so most of the new hotels are located quite far from the center of the main action.

Coming during the low season, from November to April, you will have the opportunity to enjoy wide selection hotels upon arrival, so you can get a great discount. During the wet season, the city is not particularly popular, so competition between hotels reaches its peak of fury, and partly this is due to the fact that most of the income of such establishments comes from selling tours and excursions to guests, so even if they rent out a cheaper room, the owners do not lose money.
Due to the height geographical location(higher even than Machu Picchu itself) and proximity to the equator, average temperature The air in Cusco remains almost unchanged throughout the year. Summer (December to February) is somewhat warmer than the rest of the year, but it coincides with the wet season and heavy rains with flash floods will determine your enjoyment of the trip more than the temperature itself.
The best time of year to travel is from May to September, when the sun shines almost constantly in Cusco and the weather is dry. At any time of the year, in the evenings and nights in the city it becomes quite cool; frosts are possible during the dry period, but snow as such is very rare in these places.

Cartagena, Colombia

Cartagena has become a very fashionable destination in recent years, thanks in part to the fact that decades before the country was generally considered unsafe to visit. Today a lot has changed. Colombia in general, and Cartagena in particular, is inundated with tourists, primarily those with a limited travel budget. While the news of the revival of tourism in Colombia is causing a cautious reaction, the city of Cartagena should definitely become a desirable item on the list of holiday destinations. Beach City with colonial historical center and long chain resort hotels along a very beautiful sandy shore, make this place one of the best for cultural recreation In South America.
By international standards, Cartagena can be called a very cheap city in everything from hotels to food and entertainment. In this respect, in South America it is closer to Panama or San Jose than to Lima or Buenos Aires. But if things continue to improve in Colombia, it is likely that prices will quickly creep up. Underrated places like this can't stay cheap forever.
In the meantime, most attractions can be seen for free or very cheap, and food and drink can also be quite inexpensive if you stick to local establishments rather than buying food and drinks in fancy hotel restaurants.

Panama City, Panama

The capital of Panama is a bit like Cartagena, of course, if you forget about the periodic riots that occur on the city streets. In any case, Panama City attracts more and more travelers from all over the world every year. The Panama Canal is still a major attraction, but now tourists are more focused on the city itself, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. And not far from the city there are beautiful beaches and resort areas.
As Costa Rica and Belize become more expensive year after year, Panama is gaining a reputation as a cosmopolitan melting pot of delights with very attractive price tags. Yes, there are even cheaper places in South America, but none of them have such refinement. Panama, which, in addition to its tropical nature, has a huge historical and cultural past, is gaining popularity among travelers as a more cheap alternative Costa Rica. Indeed, prices here are generally lower than in Costa Rica, but be warned, this will not last long if this surge in interest from tourists continues.
Food and drinks are also pleasingly accessible, especially if you focus on street cafes and other establishments aimed at local residents. Restaurants aimed at tourists with menus in English may not seem cheap at all.

BUDGET

Taxi from the airport to the city center - 1000 rubles
Bus fare in Panama - 9-42 rubles

WHERE TO LIVE. BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN PANAMA HOTELS
Hotels and hostels in Panama are quite good, especially those with minimal star ratings at the lower end of the price range. In 3-4 star hotels, which are a little more expensive, it is profitable to stay in the low season. But even all year round in Panama you can find a wonderful place at a good price, much cheaper than in most other cities in the world.

WHEN TO GO. BEST TIME TO VISIT PANAMA
Hotels in Panama follow the same seasonal pattern as in the Caribbean, meaning the high season runs from December to March, and in some places high prices remain at a high level in April. The high season reaches its peak during the Christmas and New Year holidays, so if you are going here at this time, it is better to book a hotel as early as possible. The low season runs from June to November, and during this time you can find some great deals. Don't forget that the low season coincides with the rainy season; however, this only means that every few days in the afternoon the clouds pour down with rain.
Panama has a classic tropical climate, with temperatures almost constant throughout the year. During the dry season from December to May, it can be quite humid during the day, but the heat rarely exceeds reasonable limits, so the overall experience is pleasant. The rainy season lasts from June to November; It usually rains in afternoon showers and rarely lasts throughout the day.

Krakow, Poland

The only one European city on our list will undoubtedly become more expensive in the coming years as everything more tourists discover it for themselves. Without a doubt this is the most interesting tourist town in Poland, which is quite easy to get to. It may not be as beautiful as Prague, but it usually has far fewer tourists and prices for everything are a little lower. And while the city is protected from the fate of overcrowded Prague, somewhat remote from the main tourist routes position, but visiting it is definitely worth the effort. Indeed, Krakow is one of the optimal cities for tourism, although this situation may change in the coming years.
The historic city center is one of the most beautiful in the region, but the main thing is the infrastructure, aimed at travelers on a modest budget. Many hostels and hotels in tourist area They fight fiercely for customers, keeping prices at an unfathomably low level for such a wonderful place. Now the city, thanks to its very low prices and constant festive atmosphere, is considered one of the most popular for bachelor and hen parties among Europeans.
The main attractions and public transport in Krakow are quite affordable, so even very budget travelers can afford to admire museums and palaces from the inside, and not just from the street.
Also, by European standards, food in the city is quite cheap, if you like local kitchen. If you want something more exotic than “krupnyak” and “flakes”, then it will cost more, but it is also quite acceptable. Drinks, again by European standards, are also quite inexpensive.

BUDGET

Taxi from the airport to the city center - 500-700 rubles
Express from the airport to the center - 120 rubles
Taxi in Krakow - 50-80 rubles per 1 km trip
Bus from the airport to the city center - 30 rubles
Tram/bus around the city - 20-40 rubles
Public transport pass for the whole day - 120 rubles

WHERE TO LIVE. BUDGET ACCOMMODATION IN HOTELS IN KRAKOW
By European standards, hotels in Krakow are very cheap, even 3-4 star hotels can offer excellent value for money, so resist the habit of going to a one-star hotel or hostel. Hotels located far from the historical center of the city are even cheaper, but the quality of service in them may be lower, and they are often very inconveniently located.

  • CHOOSE THE MOST OPTIMAL HOTEL FOR YOURSELF AT PRICE-QUALITY IN KRAKOW

WHEN TO GO. BEST TIME TO VISIT KRAKOW
The high season in hotels and hostels in Krakow is in the summer, especially in July and August. As new ones open, modern hotels, prices have increased slightly, but you can still find very tempting offers, especially if you arrive between November and March. Krakow has some very good hostels, most of which have private rooms, perfect for budget travelers.
The climate in Krakow is typical for the region, with warm but not sultry summers, which are also considered the wettest time of the year - rain is always possible here. Spring and autumn are also good in the city, usually with little rain, while winter is usually quite cool.

From the editor
Smart Trip does not deny that a holiday on a river in Ryazan will cost much less than a trip to Colombian Cartagena. But for some reason you want to go to Cartagena a little more? By making lists of the best places in the world according to the “expensive-cheap” principle, we are on a slippery slope, if only because no one has ever been able to come up with a universal concept of “most expencive” and “cheap price,” and we are no exception. All these parameters depend solely on you, your desires and financial capabilities. If you are not ready to spend more than 7,000 rubles on a ticket, you should pay attention to Eastern Europe and try to fit your vacation into a budget of 20 - 25,000 rubles for two weeks in the low season. If you want to see distant countries of South America or Southeast Asia, be prepared for the fact that the cost of flights to these destinations starts from 15,000 rubles per charter flights in Southeast Asia and 35 – 50,000 rubles in South America. Cheap? Expensive? There is only one answer: to each his own. But it’s still better to visit Peru once than to Bulgaria 7 times. IMHO.
PS: Times change. Prices too. Smart Trip tries to give as much as possible up-to-date information, but we still have no control over exchange rates and other parameters of your vacation, alas. If you want to throw a tomato at the author of the article, do it with reason in the comments below. Yes, your opinion is important to us.

Find out where you can cheaply relax at sea in the summer of 2019 abroad and in Russia! We have chosen the most popular destinations for a holiday by the sea and for everyone we counted cost index. It will help you understand where to vacation is cheap and where it is expensive. Compare indexes, choose a resort and go on vacation on a budget.

How do we calculate the index?

We calculate two holiday cost indices: for vacationers on a tour and for independent tourists.

Tour holiday index. For each destination we find the cheapest tours for two for 10 days. To the cost of the tour per person we add the cost of a visa (if needed). We divide the result by 10. We get the cost of vacation per day per person.

Independent travel index. We sum up the main expenses of a tourist and divide by 10:

  • Flights. We are looking for the cheapest round trip flight from Moscow. Tickets can be without luggage and with transfers.
  • Housing. We find double rooms at the minimum price, we do not consider hostels. Calculation per person for 10 days.
  • Visa (if needed).

What are we not counting? Food, travel, excursions, etc. - these expenses are individual and difficult to calculate. Our index does not reflect all travel expenses, but allows you to compare the cost of a vacation on a basic basis.

Why are tickets and tours only from Moscow considered? Firstly, most tourists fly from the capital on vacation. Secondly, the cheapest tickets and tours are usually from Moscow. If we count the indices for departures from all Russian cities, the review will surpass “War and Peace” in volume.

Is it possible to get it even cheaper? Can! In some cases, your vacation will cost less than according to our estimates. You will save if:

  • find a cheap one or ;
  • you already have and are going to Europe;
  • fly on vacation during the low season.

Prices have been updated for the summer season 2019 and are indicated in Russian rubles. The indices for European countries are duplicated in euros, for Asia - in US dollars.

Exchange rate: 1 US dollar ≈ 65 RUB.

Vietnam

Vietnam is one of our favorite countries! We came here three times, visited almost everywhere, and lived in the country for six months in total. The cheapest place to relax is in and. Just yesterday I received an email from one of our new readers named Valentin. The letter asked literally the following. I quote: “ Where can you go to the seaside in winter? And inIs an economical beach holiday possible in the first half of January? Family of three adults and a 2.5 year old child». I, of course, replied that there are many options here. But then, to be honest, I thought about it a little. But really, where to go to the sea in winter? In Egypt and Israel at this time it is already a little cool. In Cyprus and the Canary Islands too. If you believe the weather forecast on the website Gismeteo.ru in January in Eilat it will be about +20. At best +24. In all the countries listed, the picture is also similar. Agree, this is no longer quite a beach holiday. A walk along the sea or wandering through the mountains somewhere in Gran Canaria is certainly enough. But for complete beach holiday(in my understanding of this term) plus 20, like plus 25, is still not enough. Although it’s worth making a reservation: we’re talking about January here. In other months, the hottest resorts in Europe have really great weather.

That leaves Asia. But this is no longer quite a budget holiday. Go to the sea in winter Not everyone can afford to go to Thailand, Vietnam or India. Although here, of course, you need to define the concepts. Still, everyone’s ideas about “budget vacation” are different. So let's put the question this way: where is it better to go to the sea in winter, having a budget of 300-400 euros. In this article I will present my selection. And you, if you want, offer your options. I will be glad to see your suggestions.

Conditionally warm countries.

Israel. Eilat.

The cheapest way to get there: from Kaunas by Ryanair. Minimum ticket price (30-40 euros for a one-way flight). The price only includes hand luggage. You need to seriously adjust to flight dates.

Where to buy: https://www.ryanair.com/

Cost of hotel rooms: from 46 euros and above (hereinafter, the prices of the Rumguru website, which compares offers from different booking platforms, are used).

Apartment prices: from 50 euros and above (hereinafter, data from the AIRBNB website is used for apartments).

Tour cost (for two people): from 800 dollars. .

Weather forecast (December—January): +23…+27 degrees Celsius. In other months the temperature is higher.

Visa: not needed.

Pros : modern resort, a bunch of excursion routes, quality hotel service, fantastic undersea world Red Sea.

Cons: spring weather, high prices in Israel.

Advice: no matter which option you choose, it is best to buy plane tickets and book hotels in advance. At least a couple of months in advance. Search best deals The most convenient way is on search engine sites - for example, on Aviasales. Here tickets are usually 5-10 dollars cheaper than on the websites of specific airlines. In addition, you immediately get the opportunity to see all possible flight options.

Spain. Canary Islands. Gran Canaria

Cheapest option: flight Warsaw (Modlin) – Gran Canaria.

Cost: from 155 euros (two ways). You can also look for cheaper tickets. For example, make up more difficult route Maudlin-Charleroi/Charleroi-Gran Canaria. In this case, tickets will be cheaper (70-100 euros).

Cost of hotel rooms: from 39 euros. The cheapest options.

Example: Hotel Monte Feliz (three stars).

Apartment prices: from 70 euros (apartment for 4 people, booking for a week).

Price package tour(for 2 people): from 1000 dollars. Detailed options.

Weather forecast: +22…+26 degrees Celsius.

Visa: Schengen (single entry possible).

Pros: good level of service, relatively low prices in shops and cafes, pleasant weather, many beautiful cities and vibrant natural attractions (Maspalomas dunes, etc.).

Advice: if you suddenly decide to opt for purchasing a “package” tour, it is best to look for suitable options on the website. This Russian online project often offers tours much cheaper than regular companies. In addition, when purchasing a tour, you can get an additional discount of up to 5,000 Russian rubles simply by using a simple promo code. What specific discount codes are we talking about in detail.

P.S. Probably, the list of countries could also include Morocco, Cyprus or visa-free Turkey. But in these countries in January it is even cooler than in the Canary Islands or Eilat. At least, in most weather forecasts that I found, the numbers are in the region of +15...+20. Of course, you can go to Turkey or Morocco not only for the sea, but also for interesting natural or historical attractions. But this is a little out of the format of our article.

Weather forecast: +28…+32 С°

Visa: no.

Pros: warm climate, clear sea... well, you know, this is the Maldives.

Cons: long flight, need to get to Moscow, high prices in local restaurants.

Advice. Wherever you end up going, be sure to buy yourself good insurance and carefully study its terms. The best way to do this is, which allows you to quickly compare the conditions of different policies, and also offers you the best options in terms of price and quality. This site presents policies from many leading companies in Europe, Russia and the USA. At the same time, prices are practically no different from those offered by Belarusian companies. In general, the main thing is not to buy insurance at random. Otherwise, at conditional hour X, your policy may turn out to be completely useless. We've already had this.

Thailand. Phuket.

Optimal route: Moscow - Phuket.

Flight cost: from 387 euros (two ways).

Where to buy: Skyscanner or Aviasales (Check both. And buy tickets where it will be cheaper). You can also use the table provided.

Tour cost: from 750 (for two people). Specific options. Be sure to check the last minute tours section.

Cost of hotel rooms: from 19 euros. Read more.

Weather forecast: +31…+33 С°

Visa: Thai visa.

Pros: warm, cheap, interesting, many beautiful places and vibrant natural attractions.

Cons: Belarusians, unlike Russians, need a visa to travel to Thailand. Well, again, traveling through Moscow is not very convenient.

Advice. In general, searching for plane tickets is a very delicate art. Here you need to choose the right dates, routes, and airlines. Also of great importance is the factor on which site you are looking for specific options and how flexible you can be in terms of organizing your trip. Read more about all these nuances. Be sure to read it. This article will help you in organizing many trips.

India. Goa.

Route: Moscow - Goa.

Flight cost: from 401 euros (two ways). If you're lucky, you can "catch" tickets at half the price.

Where to buy: Aviasales or Skyscanner. (Check both. And buy tickets where it will be cheaper).

Cost of hotel rooms: from 17 euros.

Example: Coco's Resort & Club.

Apartment prices: from 17 euros.

Cost of tours to Goa (from Moscow): from 600 dollars (for two).

Weather forecast: +29…+33 degrees Celsius.

Visa: Indian visa. There is an embassy in Minsk.

Pros: warm, exotic, inexpensive.

Cons: you need to apply for a visa and be careful when choosing hotels (there are many frankly bad hotels in India). Well, again... It’s inconvenient to fly from Moscow.

Tip: if you decide to stay in private apartments instead of a hotel, try searching for suitable options on the AIRBNB website. Personally, we use this platform on almost all of our travels. You can register on the site using this link. In this case, you will immediately receive a small bonus for your first booking.

Vietnam. Nha Trang.

Route: Moscow - Nha Trang.

Flight cost: from 350 euros (round trip).

Where to buy: Skyscanner or Aviasales (Check both. And buy tickets where it will be cheaper).

Cost of hotel rooms: from 7 euros.

Example: Thien Ma Hotel.

Apartment prices: from 15 euros.

Tour cost: from $950 (for two).

Weather forecast: +30…+34.

Visa: not required (up to 15 days of stay).

Pros : beautiful nature, great beaches, no visa obstacles, many natural attractions and excursion routes.

Cons: departure from Moscow.

P.S. That's all for now. Again, I will be glad to see your suggestions interesting countries and resorts, where you can go to the sea in winter(I hope together we can find something really interesting).

Advice: We went, we know.
On vacation, be sure to take your compulsory medical insurance policy with you, or at least take a photo of it on your smartphone. If poisoning or injury occurs during the trip, then if you have a medical policy. assistance will be provided free of charge.

By the way, a holiday with children in Russia at sea will be more comfortable if you choose hotels, boarding houses and sanatoriums according to the “ all inclusive” – look at such options – more expensive, but more convenient.

Interested in calm holidays with small children? Choose.

With older children it will be interesting not only to swim, but also to go beautiful places, go on excursions - choose an inexpensive or more comfortable resort city.

Where there are fewer tourists to relax and swim in peace

For a relaxing holiday, you need to go on your own by car - not necessarily your own, now it’s easy to rent a car right upon arrival at the airport (use). As a rule, in such places there are few cafes and shops nearby. But if you choose the right hotel, then everything will be right there: beach accessories, delicious food, wine... Calm beaches and clear seas are easy to find in some.

And now ours list of the best places to go to the sea in Russia:

1. Holidays on the Azov Sea 2019: Golubitskaya, Kuchugury, etc.

In the photo: vacation on the Azov Sea, Kuchugury, sandy beach.

Many people don’t even suspect that there are such magnificent places in Russia! Far from the bustle, where there are not so many tourists yet, the beaches are sandy, the sunsets are stunning, and comfortable accommodation is located right next to the sea - yes, a holiday on the Sea of Azov surprises even experienced tourists who are accustomed to holidaying only abroad.

How to get to Sea of Azov? By plane - to Anapa airport. Next by taxi, but cheaper: from Vityazevo airport get to the city bus station in Anapa, then by bus to the Fontalovskaya station (this is the sea in Kuchugury).

Private sector and hotels on the Sea of Azov, prices 2019

Rooms in the private sector cost 600-1200 rubles per day for the whole family. There are not many good accommodations, so the best options are booked in advance. However, if cleanliness and amenities are not critical for you on vacation, then you can easily find many options on site.

Advice: We went - we know
Be carefull! If you want to have a good rest, then plan your vacation in advance! Gone are the days when it was possible to rent a good room in the private sector upon arrival - such accommodation is booked several weeks in advance. And now on the spot you can only rent “illiquid goods” (), which cannot be sold in advance and are slipped to sluggish tourists.

How to rent good housing in the private sector and not fall for scammers

Do not trust advertisements on forums and social networks! Usually shown good photos, and upon arrival they say that it is already occupied, and offer much worse housing - this is the most common type of fraud in the south of Russia. You only need to shoot verified sites with real reviews - this is the only way you are guaranteed to get what you book.

For example, private sector in Golubitskaya - the Skazka house - cheap, cozy, clean, children's playground in the yard:

There are better hotels. If you have a car, then choose with private beach and away from crowds of tourists.

Holidays on the Sea of Azov, beach of the Villa Grape hotel

A bonus will be a comfortable room with a wonderful view of the sea. For example, this view of the sea is from the Kuchugury Hotel:

There are a lot of housing options near the sea: from expensive to cheap.

5. Crimea: holidays on the seashore become civilized

Going to Crimea as a savage and staying in barns, where “conveniences on the street” have long become bad manners, just like with a voucher. Everyone is tired of the “Scoop”; I want a normal rest. Every year, holidays at sea in Crimea become more comfortable. The most advanced travel to Crimea on their own by car, or fly in and rent a car at the airport - this is what secret have a nice rest in Crimea!

If you still want to go on a “wild” vacation, then let it be in beautiful places with good beaches and clean seas. For example, Miami beach, which is located in Olenevka. The only thing is that there are few hotels here, so you need to book in advance. Inexpensive room can be booked without credit card and with a guarantee in the guest house.

See prices in Yalta for a holiday by the sea

Evpatoria – comfortable hotels, sandy beaches and clear sea

The beaches in Evpatoria are considered one of the best in Crimea. And the ethno-hotel “Dzheval” is one of the most comfortable. Do you want to know what a quality European holiday is? Choose "Dzheval". See prices and photos.

Anton: We traveled around Crimea for so long, we thought that we had already seen everything. But the Dzheval Hotel surprised me. At first it seemed that the price was too high, but we decided to try it. And they didn’t regret it. This is the most best hotel where we stayed! And not only in Crimea. You feel like you are at a European resort. Only in Europe they will ask three times more for such a hotel. This hotel made our vacation! Now I can only go to Crimea here, there are no other hotels for me.

If the main thing on vacation is a low price, then choose “Tavriya Sanatorium” - all inclusive, inexpensive.

6. Lazarevskoye – relaxation by the sea near Sochi

In Sochi, a seaside holiday can hardly be called cheap. See prices for holidays in Sochi. Could there be something very close to Sochi, but cheaper? Yes!

For those who have read this far, we’ll tell you about the best place to go to the sea in Russia. Abkhazia is not in first place on our list only because it is not exactly Russia - it is nearby :) In all other respects, this is the best place where you can go to sea with a Russian passport. A foreign passport is not needed, rubles are used, local residents speak Russian.

In the photo: holiday at sea in Abkhazia

In Abkhazia, prices are lower and holidays at sea are more comfortable. Here you have a much better chance of finding good beaches and clear sea. In addition, in Abkhazia there are fewer tourists at sea - the main thing is to drive away from Sukhumi to resort places, and then you can find a very inexpensive holiday on the seashore. Right on the beach!

How to get to Abkhazia

From Moscow or St. Petersburg you can travel directly to Sukhumi inexpensively by train. Travel time is 38 and 45 hours.
Either from another city in Russia by train or plane to Sochi airport (Adler), and from there there are trains and buses to Sukhumi, the journey takes 2-3 hours.

If you are driving your own or through a checkpoint at the border across the Psou River, just get out and show your passport and documents for the car. Leave through the same checkpoint. There are no difficulties at the border, just a formality.

Where to stay

There's not much in Abkhazia modern options accommodation, mainly in the “soviet” private sector, which is easy to book upon arrival. However, there are also quite good ones. guest houses and even excellent inexpensive hotels, but it is better to book them in advance in order to get a civilized one for the price of a “wild” vacation. It's possible! Here are some options.

To begin with, you can stay near the city of Sukhumi and close to the sea - in guest house“Rufina” is cheap, but quite comfortable.

We go further, where there are fewer tourists, and find the Alamys guest house, ideal in terms of price and quality (see photos, reviews and prices), conveniently located in the resort of Gudauta, right next to the Black Sea. There are comfortable sun loungers on the beach and there are no other tourists nearby. Clean sea, delicious food. You can admire the sea 24/7 from your room’s balcony – you won’t be able to find anything like this on the first line by the sea in Sochi or Lazarevskoye.

In addition to the sea, Abkhazia has beautiful nature, delicious wine and food. And the prices! Probably like this low prices there is nowhere else to go on a seaside holiday in Russia. Even a hotel with three meals a day costs 2 times cheaper than in Russia.
