On October 5 and 6, in the village of Kurya, a regional gathering of military-patriotic clubs, military-sports and other patriotic associations of the Altai Territory took place, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of M.T. Kalashnikov.
The rally began with an opening ceremony at the memorial square in the village of Kurya. 50 teams from the Altai Territory, from Barnaul, Rubtsovsk, Biysk, Gornyak, as well as Yegoryevsky, Loktevsky, Pervomaisky, Shipunovsky, Pospelikhinsky, Talmensky, Krasnoshchekovsky and other districts of the Altai Territory, came to compete for the title of the best military-patriotic clubs and military-sports associations. including teams of girls and boys from the municipal educational institution “Talmenskaya Secondary School No. 1”.
The event program included such military sports competitions as: disassembling and assembling a machine gun, equipping a magazine, target shooting, weights and general physical training. The most interesting

For the third year in a row, the Altaivagon sports complex in Novoaltaisk has hosted a Regional Interschool Fitness Marathon among teachers as part of the Russian Schoolchildren Movement!
All active and caring teachers of our region come to this event. This year, 17 teams took part, including the team from the municipal educational institution “Talmenskaya Secondary School No. 1” “TalWomen”. In addition to the traditional fiery performances from teams of teachers, this year there was a dance battle between children.
At the end of the event, RDS activists made a video of congratulations from teachers of the Altai Territory.
The team was awarded a Diploma for participation in this event, as well as a Letter of Gratitude for the annual interaction within the framework of the Regional Interschool Fitness Marathon and a memorable gift from the organizers.

In September, the 60th regional tourist gathering of schoolchildren was held in the Zavyalovsky district. Traditionally, school teams walked along the route on the territory of the Sputnik children's health camp.
11 school teams took part in the rally. The team included ten students aged 10-16 years old - 7 people on the route, 3 for the chef competition. The preparation and conduct of the competition was managed by the Education Committee and the Children's Creativity Center, with the involvement of physical education teachers from district schools for judging. Deputy head of the district for social issues Pavel Dmitrievich 
Shikhovtsov and the chairman of the education committee, Alexander Pavlovich Savinov, greeted the participants of the tourist rally and wished victory to the strongest team.
The guys competed in several categories: control and technical route, obstacle course, tourist skills, competitive program, chef competition, creative competition.
Based on the results of all tests, the Kamyshenskaya school team won the team event. In second place were the children from Zavyalovskaya Secondary School No. 1, and tourists from Glubokovskaya School completed the top three winners.

On September 24, at the stadium in the village of Tyagun in the Kytmanovsky district, the military-sports relay race “Road of Winners” was held by the Center for Sports and Creativity. In the Altai Territory, great importance is attached to the summer health campaign. Summer holidays– an excellent time for schoolchildren throughout the region to have a fun, useful and safe time.
According to preliminary results, 175 thousand Altai schoolchildren took part in the 2019 children's health program. In total, more than 590 million rubles were allocated from the regional and municipal budgets for the campaign.
More than 10 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget to organize recreation for children in difficult life situations. Using this money, the Ministry of Social Protection purchased 750 vouchers to country health camps for regional specialized shifts for disabled children, orphans and children without parental care.
In total, 872 organizations worked in the summer. Including: 58 country and health resort camps, 6 children's sanatoriums, 804 day camps for children and 4 tent camps.
Also in 2019, the improvement and strengthening of their material and technical base continued. In 14 country camps, conditions have been improved: the roof, fences, windows and doors in residential buildings have been replaced, canteens and swimming pools have been modernized.
Work was carried out with children who were different types accounting. All of them rested in day camps, in country, health resort and tent camps, visited cultural and sports institutions, and took part in hiking trips. As a matter of priority, they were provided with jobs, and employment issues were worked out individually with each child. Through the employment service, 306 teenagers who are registered with commissions on juvenile affairs were employed.
The guys from the Altai Territory vacationed not only in their native region. 1024 schoolchildren went to Cherny and Sea of Azov. In 2019, 39 groups (more than 400 people) were sent on vacation, competitions, competitions and tours to Novosibirsk, Adler, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Moscow, etc. In addition, tourist hikes along the Mountain Kolyvan were carried out, Mountain Altai, Charysh and other regions as part of the implementation of the “Live Lessons” project. Under the guidance of specialists, 98 hiking trips, in which almost 17 thousand children took part.
Particular attention was paid to the safety of country camps located in the forest zone. In the first days of the shift, issues of warning and evacuation of children in case of emergencies were worked out, briefings were conducted with staff, and classes were held with children.
During their shifts, state fire marshal employees conducted preventive visits to the camps.
All camps were staffed by qualified personnel. The counselors were trained under the “Counselor Training School” program at the Pedagogical University, designed for 72 hours. A total of 700 counselors were trained and received state certificates.

The educational tour for children over 12 years old “In the footsteps of the Scythian tribes” was recognized as a finalist in the “Best Children’s Route” category. The route passes through the territory of the Charyshsky district, located in the southern part of the Altai Territory. This area is famous for the archaeological monuments of the Scythian era, the peaks of the Korgon ridge, the abundance of caves and ancient mines from the time of Akinfiy Demidov.
The developed route combines leisure and visiting hard-to-reach unique monuments nature, history and culture of the Altai region.
Reference: based on the results of the correspondence assessment, the experts selected 63 projects from 13 regions of Russia. The final of the regional competition of the All-Russian Tourist Award “Route of the Year” of the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts will be held September 25-27 in Ulan-Ude.

The Ministry of Education has developed a draft target program “Development of the sphere of recreation and health improvement for children”, within the framework of which it is planned to take measures to modernize and create new places children's recreation. This is stated in the department’s response (available to the Parliamentary Newspaper) to a request from member of the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs Natalya Kuvshinova, signed by Deputy Minister Pavel Zenkovich.
Earlier, the deputy sent a letter to Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev with a request to consider the possibility of adopting a state program aimed at repairing and developing the infrastructure of children's camps.
“In order to develop the infrastructure of children’s recreation and health organizations... the Ministry has developed a draft departmental target program “Development of the sphere of children’s recreation and health,” says the response to the request. It is noted that the preparation of the relevant document took place in accordance with the Fundamentals of state regulation and state control of the organization of recreation and health improvement for children and the “Decade of Childhood” plan, approved on the initiative of the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko.
“As part of the implementation of this program, it is planned to improve state regulation of the organization of recreation and health improvement for children, develop and modernize the infrastructure of organizations for children’s recreation and their health improvement, create new places for children’s recreation and their health improvement, including through public-private partnerships, and increase the availability of services in the field of organizing children’s recreation and health,” the Ministry of Education emphasized.

From August 19 to 26, 2019, on the basis of the KGBU "Children's recreation camp "Yunost" the regional specialized camp "Heirs of the Ages" (regional military-patriotic camp "Victory") was held, which was organized with the aim of forming an active civic position, patriotic education of children and adolescents, preparing them for military service. The profile camp was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Altai Territory and the Altai Regional Center for Children's Recreation, Tourism and Local History "Altai" as part of the implementation of the state program of the Altai Territory "Patriotic education of citizens in the Altai Territory" for 2016-2020. 
Children and teenagers from 4 cities and 10 districts of the Altai Territory, cadets of military sports and military patriotic clubs, cadet schools, and the Youth Army movement took part in the specialized camp.
During the period of the specialized camp, an additional general education (general developmental) program of 3 courses was implemented:
initial military training – classes on basic knowledge in the field of defense and military service;
public and state training - a course in the study of history, culture and 
traditions of the Altai region; safety precautions when conducting classes and competitions, safe behavior near bodies of water, in the event of an emergency;
physical training – physical development, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, popularization of applied, national and other sports.
On August 24, a solemn ceremony of admission to the ranks of the All-Russian military-patriotic social movement"Youth Army" 28 cadets of the "Youth" detachment.
Every day, participants of the specialized camp took part in the competition of the regional military sports game “Victory”. Units

For several years, children became acquainted with the history of the emergence and development of the village, its infrastructure (in the past and at the present stage), the development of urban planning, the history of organizations (formation, development, activities), the history of crafts, ethnoculture (nationalities living in the region and their culture ).
The young local historians began their activities by getting acquainted with the history of the regional local history museum. Elena Aleksandrovna Egorova, director of the museum, spoke about when the museum opened in the village of Kosikha, who was its first director, what the activities of the museum workers were and what exhibits were in those years. To contribute to the production of a woven rug, which is possible when it will become a museum exhibit, the guys accepted with

For ten years, the summer inter-settlement Spartakiad of schoolchildren has been taking place on the sports ground of the MBOU “Kontoshinskaya Secondary School”.
This year it was dedicated to the GTO standards and was held under the title “Sports and I are on our way, the GTO lies ahead!”
About 70 athletes from four villages took part in the Spartakiad: Romanovo, Ozero-Krasilovo, Ovchinnikovo, Kontoshino, who competed for 30 sets of medals. The age of the participants is from 6 to 15 years.
At the opening ceremony, school director N.V. Kasatkina and deputy head of the administration of the Kontoshinsky village council T.V. addressed the participants of the Spartakiad with welcoming and parting words. The 4th specialized sports shift “Oh sport, you are the world!” continues to work at the MBU “DOL “Forest Fairy Tale” in Biysk. For several years in a row, young athletes with coaches have been coming to the children's health camp. This year, an educational and training process was organized for 234 athletes involved in the departments of sambo, judo and boxing.
The main goal of the program is the formation of a healthy, versatile, developed personality through sports training, gaming and cognitive activities, the creation of favorable conditions for systematic physical education and sports, and the continuation of the educational, training and educational process during the holidays with sports school students. 
Organizing summer health sessions is an important part of the training process and allows you to minimize the forced break in training. In a camp setting, sports school students improve their health, improve physical skills, develop speed, strength and motor qualities, and endurance in one or more sports. Athletes of sports skill groups in summer period improve their level in all types of training at training camps, preparing for important competitions.

The XXXV specialized change of squads of young firefighters has begun in the Altai Territory.
This year's anniversary session is taking place at the Zvezdny health camp. More than 100 young residents of the Altai Territory became participants in the specialized shift, who during the year actively participated in urban and rural specialized shifts and propaganda of fire safe behavior. The 35th Altai regional profile shift of the DUP-2019 is held within the framework of the Year of Emergency Prevention in the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations under the auspices of the XI All-Russian festival on the theme of safety and rescue of people “Constellation of Courage” and is dedicated to the 370th anniversary of the Russian fire department.
The purpose of the shift is to increase the efficiency of work to prevent fires from children's pranks with fire, to promote best practices and popularize the work of young fire brigades, their creativity 
self-realization, developing in students a responsible attitude towards safety issues, instilling knowledge of fire prevention and the ability to act correctly in emergency situations.
On the very first day, after the arrival of the squads of young firefighters, the first qualifying practical test - “The Labyrinth of the Brave” and an extra-credit test - orienteering took place. To qualify, the teams had to overcome 10 stages in turn. All stages of the competition are carried out using the “avalanche method”, that is, one team member starts, and other participants gradually increase in strength by going through subsequent stages. Competition builds cohesion among all teams and also develops agility and necessary skills.
From August 12 to 20, 12 teams of young firefighters will learn the basics of firefighting and participate in various competitions and quizzes.

From August 5 to 7, at the base of the Golden Key children's recreation center, a traditional shift for volunteers took place - the IV Meeting of volunteer detachments of the Talmensky district.
9 teams from secondary schools, as well as a detachment from the Talmensky Technological College, the organizers were the district volunteer detachment “Leader”, the Talmensky center for extracurricular activities - a total of 11 detachments, so far this is a record for this Rally. For the first time in 4 years, the number of participants reached 90 people.
The direct management of the Meeting from year to year is carried out by the education department represented by the leading specialist – I.A. Chernyakina. and CVR methodologist – Gavrilenko O.A. Activists of the RVO “Leader” act as the organizing committee, led by the commander, Ekaterina Popova.
The program of this Meeting was qualitatively different from previous years. This year all team members were 
already pre-divided into squads. The theme of the shift was television, and 8 squads represented various TV channels: from scientific to entertainment. All detachments had their own leaders from the RVO “Leader”, the eighth separate detachment was a detachment of leaders.
Enormous preparation was carried out before the start of the Rally by the “Leader” volunteer detachment and their leader. Variety of educational and entertainment events, the methodological component, well-coordinated team work - all this made it possible to make this Rally unique, filled not only with positive emotions, but also with useful information.
On August 6, the “Leadership Academy” took place, within which 8 volunteer educational platforms operated under the guidance of competent specialists and simply interesting interlocutors.

The themed shift is “#Brighter Together”: dance marathons, creative competitions, quests, improvisations, ART venues. As part of the creative session, an introduction to modern styles and types of art (graffiti, photo posing, flash mob and others) is organized. Dancers from the exemplary dance theater “Ovation” actively take part in the implementation of this shift, who not only relaxed, but also created dance numbers for participation in the All-Russian competition. 
A lot has been done by children's hands. during the shift. The children were helped in this by experienced leaders of the “Quilling” and “Burning” clubs. tree”, “One, two, three, four, five - I can draw!”, “Cartoons on the sand” and “Buratino Theatre”. A large number of board and sports games, watching cartoons did not let you get bored in rainy days! The very last shift at the MBU “DOL “Raketa”” in Biysk is coming to an end. Soon the buildings will be empty, the happy and rested guys will go home, and it’s time to take stock.
From the first days, an epithet was added to the name of the camp, which did not leave it throughout the entire shift: “Rocket” - dream camp. But it was the children’s dream camp that the team envisioned from the very beginning!
The Raketa children's school team sketched out ideas and shared their dreams from childhood, and it turned out that everything is important to us: clean air, delicious food, young creative counselors, interesting, relevant events, creative ideas, and the spirit of competition, and an atmosphere of friendship and cooperation, and teamwork. It is important that during the holidays children relax, receive a charge of positive emotions, spend time actively and make friends, so that there is no word “need”, but the words “I want”, “I can”. That is why the program was designed so that the children would have an interesting, creative, imaginative and positive experience throughout the day. 
Team children's camp paid attention to the individuality of each child, so everyone could express themselves: those who feel comfortable on stage, those who play sports, and those who like more solitary creativity (drawing, applied arts and reading).
Safety was evident in everything and, first of all, in the attention to each child. Thanks to the professionally selected team of the “Countrymen” teaching team, the goals, objectives and values embedded in the program came to life. And the result is more than 630 happy children, immersed in an atmosphere of dreams, happiness and joy.

During the specialized shift, the Youth Army members completed the “Initial Military Training” courses (fire training, tactical training, showed their skills in formation and song review, putting on a gas mask, GTO tests, shooting). In addition, the children’s knowledge about the history, purpose and structure of Armed Forces Russian Federation, weapons and military equipment of the Russian Army. The necessary knowledge and practical skills are given about the daily life and everyday life of military personnel, the concept of the role of military regulations in the life of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
Great assistance in carrying out the specialized shift was provided by VC/52929 ZATO Sibirsky, retired colonel, military veteran Vasily Ivanovich Chudaikin, Igor Petrovich Guselnikov, head of the Youth Army detachment of the Eltsovsky district, leaders of the Youth Army detachments of the Kosikhinsky district: Bodrov Alexander Sergeevich, Babkin Yuri Alekseevich, Ivanov Evgeniy Vitalievich, Prilipko Konstantin Yurievich, Bukhanov Danil Alekseevich, Plotnikova Tatyana Valentinovna.
As part of the profile shift, a lot took place interesting events: “Minute of Glory”, “Battle of the Choirs”, KVN “Sons of the Fatherland”, formation review and songs “State in formation, strong in battle”, camp game “Zarnitsa”. The meeting with retired colonel, military veteran Vasily Ivanovich Chudaikin, a man of interesting biography, aroused great interest among the Young Army members. During the meeting, Vasily Ivanovich drew the children’s attention to the fact that in order to become worthy defenders of their Motherland, they need to be strong and courageous, engage in physical training and sports, train willpower, and confidently move towards their goals, despite the obstacles. Employees of the AGM Museum G.S. Titov met with members of the Kosikhinsky and Yeltsovsky districts. Museum researcher Olga Kovalenko introduced the children to the history of the life, activities and feats of German Titov. The cadet years of German Stepanovich were presented especially vividly and in detail, which he spent at the Kustanai school with initial flight training and the Stalingrad military aviation school pilots, from which he graduated with honors. During the story, there were quotes from the autobiographical story by G.S. Titov "My Blue Planet". The children listened to the story with interest, carefully examining the images on the screen. At the end of the program, a quiz was held, to which boys and girls gave clear and correct answers, for which they received badges with a portrait of German Titov, magnets and calendars as gifts. And the most interesting question of the quiz (What was German Titov’s call sign during the flight?) was answered by a guest from Eltsovka, for which she received G.S.’s book. Titov "My Blue Planet". When summing up the results, it was noted that the guys had successfully mastered the military-patriotic training block, which included theoretical classes on the basics of military service, as well as practicing practical skills. And most importantly, the participants in the specialized shift were convinced that teamwork, mutual assistance, and friendship are great.
The organizers of the shift expressed confidence that the participants of the first specialized shift will make a significant contribution to the development of the Youth Army movement in their educational organizations.

In the Pankrushikhinsky district, on the basis of the Orlyonok recreation center, the specialized shift “Safety School” ended.
Teachers of the MBOUDO "Pankrushikhinsky Central District Hospital", together with the Education Committee, unit 56 of the PSCh FPS State Border Guard Service "8th detachment of the Federal Border Guard Service in the Altai Territory", KGBU "Pankrushikhinsky Central District Hospital", OP for the Pankrushikhinsky district of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Khabarsky" prepared a variety of exciting and useful program.
Over seven days of shifts, during practical classes and watching educational videos, 70 children learned the rules of fire safety, safe behavior on water bodies, in the forest, in the event of the threat and occurrence of natural and man-made emergencies. Received practical skills in providing first aid, using 
primary fire extinguishing agents, life-saving equipment and climbing equipment. We became familiar with firefighting equipment used to extinguish fires.
All these useful and exciting classes were conducted by firefighters, rescuers, traffic police officers, medical workers, and teachers from the Creativity Center.
To consolidate what they had learned, the guys took part in competitions in the following types: “Orienteering”, “Obstacle Course”, “Search and Rescue Operations”, “First Aid”, “Survival Route”, and “Combined Obstacle Course”.
The session ended with the awarding of diplomas, cups, certificates, souvenirs, and sweet prizes to the participants. The guys also received certificates of completion of the “Safety School” course.

If you have a couple of hours of free time and you are in the area " Turquoise Katun", I recommend taking an interesting walk. Here you will see two interesting sights in the Altai Mountains.
"Valley of Grottoes"- so called walking route included in complex Tavdinsky caves . We love to hike different trails, so we knew we needed to go there. Planned - done!
Barnaul - Turquoise Katun/Tavdinsky caves = 290 km (4 hours)
Gorno-Altaisk - Turquoise Katun/Tavdinsky caves = 47 km (1 hour)
The entrance to the routes (and there are two of them) is located in the central part of the tourist area" Turquoise Katun". There are signs and coordinates in the navigator, it’s difficult to get lost.
That day we only got to the “Valley of Grottoes”; we were not allowed into the “Place of Power”. Before our arrival at the Turquoise Katun there was a terrible hurricane. The wind knocked down an unreal number of trees. We saw the fallen trunks ourselves, it’s all true.
According to the stand, the “Valley of Grottoes” also has three routes. I didn’t figure out which way we walked. Yes, it probably doesn’t matter.
Along the route, tourists will see picturesque grottoes and arches. Each object has its own name. I didn’t feel like an archaeologist (there were too many people), but I enjoyed walking along the forest paths and was inspired by Altai nature.
The “Valley of Grottoes” route is quite easy, even a child can do it. The elevation difference is 200 meters, the main part of the trail goes along gentle slopes. Rather, it is the child who will be most interested here. Plenty of room to climb and explore))
At the Start Camp you will be charged 150 rubles for entry (children under 7 years old are free). Further, following the signs, the same exploration of bizarre rock arches, arches of ancient caves and grottoes begins. Once again you are amazed at Mother Nature, who so skillfully creates various forms and reliefs!

You can enter all grottoes freely. A flashlight will be useful.
And then we came across the Bear's Corner grotto.

No less picturesque is the "Old Arch".
Of all the arcs, the Desire Arc is the most popular. The legend says: “Walk under the arch, touching the stone with your hands and make a wish. It will definitely come true!”
If it doesn’t come true, well, it’s not my fault, I came up with the legend on the spot. But I still made a wish)).
To get to the Eagle's Nest, you need to climb through the Raccoon Hole.
And look how amazing the nature is around! Everywhere you look, it’s fabulous!
The length of the “Valley of Grottoes” is 1850 meters; the passage will take approximately 1.5-2 hours, depending on how you go. The route is circular, there will be no repetitions on the way back.
"Turquoise Katun" is the first and only special economic zone of a tourist and recreational type in Altai. For this complex name stands a famous tourist complex summer holiday, with an artificially created lake. We came here for a walk from Manzherok. Well, what else to do in the rain? It’s not like staying in a hotel.
The territory of the complex is equipped according to all European standards.
On the sandy beach warm lake the attractions are crowded, waterslides, sun loungers, cafes and shopping pavilions. In a word, life is in full swing. But only in the summer and only in good weather. In the rain everything looks pretty bleak.
No signs of busy summer life.
There are many hotels and private guest houses in the complex, which annually welcome Russian and foreign tourists. Many of them perfectly complement the Altai nature. Look at the houses!
The place is well-kept and clearly touristy, but it deserves attention.
"Turquoise Katun" located on the vast territory of the left bank of the Katun. It is connected to the Chuya tract suspension bridge, entry 100 rubles. For those who do not want to pay, you can make a small detour and enter the Turquoise Katun from the other side. And leaving across the bridge is free.
Be sure to walk to the bridge. I think this is a separate place that deserves to be explored.
200 meters above the bridge to the "Turquoise Katun" there is source Arzhan-Suu. Check it out if you're in these areas. They beat at the source healing keys, the water is saturated with iron, copper and silver. By the way, Shukshin’s film “There Lives Such a Guy” was filmed here.
